Ruby narrowed their eyes, stepping closer to the apparent stranger. Something was off. They could practically see the magic. Reaching out they grabbed the woman's neck and pushed her up against the nearest wall. “I know you.” They murmured, narrowing their eyes further. Tilting their head just a little they eventually let her go. “So this is where you run off to little Jester.”

Leif pulled the two records out from the bin, looking them over as he debated on which one to buy. Money wasn’t the actual issue, he could very easily afford both, but ever since people could buy recordings of music he’d only ever bought (or stolen) one at a time. He liked sitting with a record or album, absorbing as much of it as he could before he moved on to something new. Sometimes this took a week, other times it took months. Looking over at Jess next to him he set them down on top of the other records still in the bins, and tapped them, asking her which one he should choose.

“Well, this is certainly a mess,” Opal observed as she looked over the destruction the earthquake had wrought. There were cleaning crews working on it now, clearing away rubble so that the repair crews could come in and start working on the pipes and power lines. She tapped her finger absently on her arm as she watched, fascinated by the mix of human and supernatural workers, the latter using magic to assist those that couldn’t use it.

“Did you get caught in all this, Jester?” she asked, turning to the young woman next to her whom she’d summoned soon after arriving here in Faerune.

“You sound like my sister,” Cassandra said, just barely scoffing at the woman. “She’s always blowing something up or getting into trouble with fire. Her actions are impetuous and dangerous. Fire must be controlled if it’s to be an effective tool.” She looked Jess up and down briefly but did not offer a hand in introduction. “You can call me Cassandra.” Cass was reserved for family and friends.

“Is that Jess? Jessica Terrell?” Beau asked with a grin, stepping over to grab Jess in a hug, picking her up a bit and spinning her before setting her back down. “It’s been ages! What’ve you been up to? Sorry I fell off the face of the earth for a while, Leif and I went to Mount Fuji and the cell reception was terrible.” He shook his head, reaching out to tug on the ends of her hair gently with another smile. “I’ve missed you, though. You look as pretty as you did when I left. We’ll have to get together and hang out soon.”
