Our 2010 Modern traditional workshops with the menehunes and makaainana , leadership was transfered from children to adults in an old settle mannered practice. Kumu/teachers of more than 6 schools participated in the Project of 2011 and getting their parents involved in 2015-2017 in their own family oriented workshops which had them kids working through 2016 , and by 2017 August until November -they scheduling classes around their subjects with tight times, and teachers quietly learning the lesson on their own (some with other makaainana). Board and Stone per home meant starting from the beginning with a Seed, nonprofits new to the idea of the lesson, transitioning into rewards programs, awareness programs, building boards for schools that practice farm to table and home gardening, invasive tree irratication , landscaping, horticulture, aquaponics, ethnobotany and much more by the end of 2013 leading up to these moments of feeding the community and food banks with their own hands in 2014. Now Completing the mental and visual hands on task in 2017, we are moving in to the next set of skills bridging the gap of not knowing what the next hobby or career they could share or learn with family and friends . The same teachers who started the olelo immersion into English for preschoolers decades ago, vice versa of the language on kauai, they're still alive and well , active and mobile have moved the niihau homeschool ethics into their newly owned historical facility community kitchen in 2019. Practice continue to be done in other outreach, while new studies are researched.
