obsessed with kirishima in that new sero series ngl,,, if you ever want to or decide to write, i'd love to hear abt kirishima and reader hanging out- or just how they are with each other. how they became friends etc etc
anyways,,, how have u been miiiint how's it going ;w;
on her knees, his mom smoothed his hair down one day and told him he had to be friends with the girl across the hall. the city was still half built from after the war, his own cuts healed, yet pink.
"you're such a sweet boy," she mumbled, with a kiss on the forehead. "go be sweet."
and so, he was marched over, box of sweets in hand.
"i'm eijiro-" he uses his given name when you answer the door, instead of the family one labelled outside their door. "my mom made these for you."
You don't reach out to take the box. he's afraid you're about to back up and close the door when you shake your head.
"you d-didn't need to do that," you whisper, ducking away from eye contact. Oh, he thinks. That's why his mom sent him over here.
"it's cool!" He pushes the box forward and you gingerly take it, "My mom loves to do stuff like this."
You bow, just a dip of your head, and Kirishima gets a view into the apartment. It's smaller than his family's, with the living room right by the front door and the walls glossed with pink posters. There's a bookshelf packed with figurines and manga.
"whoa." Kirishima gapes. "your parents much really like anime."
"Oh, uh-" You shut the door a bit, trying to block his view. "I-it's just me. I like anime."
"Your parents let you decorate the apartment? That's so cool."
"no, it's just me." You still can't meet his eye. "My parents live out in the country side and it's too far away from my school."
It's not uncommon for students to get apartments near their high schools, but Kirishima thinks it's a strange choice for something as skittish as you. Living by yourself, in the middle of the city, while they rebuild it all: he doesn't know if he could do it.
"That genius school down the road?" Kirishima points in the (probably incorrect) direction. It's not UA, of course, but it's just as competitive to get in. "You gotta help me with math sometime-- I'm drowning."
For the first time, you smile.
"I am not a genius," you say. "But I can take a look."
-
Thursdays turn into tutoring sessions. You're a year behind him in school, but a year ahead of him in math, which makes you a tough grader. Kirishima thinks that you might actually be a genius sometimes. His mom pays you in warm meals, his dad irons your uniform for you when he has the time.
It fills the gap leaving the dorms left in his social life.
"don't you get lonely?" he asks one night, sitting in the middle of your apartment. the faucet leaks, a constant, drip, drip, drip, that your dad promises to fix the next time he can make the train ride over. "your friends from school never come over."
you've scribbled little Xs across your piece of scrap paper, each one tiny and dark, drawn with a shaking hand.
"yeah," you say, "it's okay. they're just busy, i guess."

Idk if your taking requests! I saw your puppy love kirishima fic and i was wondering if you could do middle school kirishima with foreign exchange student (hispanic)but it can be wtv you want .if its too much im sorry you dont have to write it😭👍🏽
UHMMM ITS NOT TOO MUCH TO WRITE, I’m Hispanic aswell however I’m not to connected to my culture (Spanish and Mexican) as I’m not fully Hispanic. But I can 100% write this! (Plus it gives me an excuse to research my own culture!) sorry I haven’t been online but I’m getting to it all now
Mkay so before any of u start acting like I just wrote the most racist stuff known to man I wanna inform you, My hero academia is based in Japan and Japan is a monoethnic country where foreigners make up less then 3% of the whole country, so most of the time when they see a foreigner they are very surprised. Don’t come for me please <3
this may be shorter but I’ll try
Eijiro kirishima x Hispanic reader
kirishima groaned as he looked up from his table, feeling a hand tap his shoulder “eijiro, eijiro look. There’s a new kid…” his friend whispered, causing the black haired boy to look over his shoulder towards his friend. the boy looked really confused, almost shocked? Who reacts like that to a new kid? Kirishima looks over and sees you standing by the door, clutching your book bag in one hand and the end of your shirt in the other as you nervously fidgeted with the hemline. Not only do you look different from the rest of them, but your the prettiest person he’s ever seen in his whole life! Your hair, skin, eyes, body, EVERYTHING! You just were so pretty to him. Kirishima made it his mission to befriend you and win you over, you were his mission. Kirishima noticed your nervous expression as your eyes danced around the classroom to find an empty spot that wasn’t to close to anyone else, kirishima stood up from his seat and walked over to you at the front of the class “I’m.. I’m eijiro kirishima!” He grins, stuttering at first but finding his confidence “you wanna come sit with me? I’ve got an empty seat!” He welcomed you.
You smiled, “Hey…” as you seemed to loosen up, letting go of the hemline of your shirt. Kirishima’s warm grin widened as he ushered you to the seat next to him.
“C’mon then! Sit here,” he said cheerfully, making you feel instantly more at ease. As class went on, you couldn’t help but notice how genuinely friendly and inviting he was.
After a while, Kirishima turned to look at you. “So, where are you from?” he asked. You knew this question would come up eventually; your mamá and papá had warned you about it.
“*Your country*,” you replied.
“Oh wow! That’s pretty far from here…” Kirishima seemed fascinated. “You speak Spanish and all?”
“Eh… Sí,” you replied, trying to prove you could speak Spanish by replying in it.“That’s so cool! You’re so manly,” he grinned again, his eyes shining with genuine admiration. “You should teach me some time. I’d love to learn.”
You chuckled at his enthusiasm, feeling a warmth spread through you at his sincere interest. “Sure, I can teach you some phrases,” you said, starting to feel more comfortable. Kirishima’s excitement was infectious, and you began to feel grateful that he had bothered to come up to you.
ITS SO SHORT BUT ITS SOMETHING

Toby Kieth Tribute feat. Katsuki & Eijiro
I can’t stop thinking about Western!au Katsuki and Kirishima who decided to marry their best friend because no other woman was ever going to be worth their time the way you were, are, and always will be.
The brain rot has been so real recdently. Maybe I'll expand on this, probably not, but enjoy Kat and Eijiro raising their kids on Toby Kieth.
The three of you grew up on the classic country songs and when the time came to start talking about a family, there was no hesitation. Giving each of the boys one of their own so they could raise them the same way you all were, maybe even a little better since you all had each other.
When the news came out that your favorite country singer had passed and your boys were merely 3 and 4, there was no hesitation to keep his memory alive.
Every time Katsuki and Eijiro are heading out to the ranch, they’ve got the kids buckled in their car seats with “Should’ve been a Cowboy” blasting through the speaker of their old pickup. Eijiro has got his arm behind Katsuki's seat while he looks at their clones nodding and bobbing their head along to the music. Singing at the top of their lungs when the hook comes.
Eiji’s kid, being a year older, has already got most of the words down, and for Katsuki’s, he mumbles along when he can, but there’s one song he knows by heart. “Daddy, wuv’er, wuv'er…” He’s whine from the back seat. “God Love Her? You know that song reminds me of mama, huh?” His dad grins from thew drivers seat and there’s no way the song is appropriate for their young ears, but hell, they’re gonna learn eventually.
The two grown men in the front seat can't help but smile at the memory of their first time with you and that song sure does bring back so many memories.
To all the songs that have taught them life lessons, they plan to teach those same to their own boys. Starting them off young but guiding them to be a little better than they were at this age.

Welcome to the Kirishima presentation 2.0!
What you are about to read combines manga analysis, meta analysis, trope breakdowns, watered-down Japanese history as explained by an outsider Westerner (please take it with a grain of salt), and thematic parallels with other characters. Beware of spoilers up to manga chapter 383.
This “presentation” post discusses Eijiro Kirishima’s character and arc as well as the real-life references his character’s aesthetic and “manly” actions and credo are meant to communicate. This post includes a discussion of Japanese delinquents and bosozoku, a brief and simplified history of the relationship of Japanese hypermasculinity and military and naval power, a brief discussion of kouha and nanshoku, and a brief general analysis of how Kirishima's early-series insecurities reflect those of an “emasculated” and outdated Japan in relation to Mina’s “effeminate” Japan of today. It also compares Kirishima and Mina’s history and character growth to Deku and Katsuki. Some of the Wikipedia links are also mildly NSFW, so be careful.
If you take whatever I say about the story personally, or get upset about spoilers that’s on you. On the flip side, if you have something to say on context and history, tell me more! If I offend or misinform in the context of history, please let me know! I have only one perspective, and it is my own.
The color key will make sense in time. I promise.
Who Is Eijiro Kirishima?
Personally, I love Scorpia. I also love Kirishima. But I do not like it when Kirishima is portrayed to be just like Scorpia in fandom works. Sure, they have similarities (some of which may or may not have been intentionally chosen for Scorpia’s part), but they do not have the same character arcs.
In particular, Kirishima’s arc is very pointedly about his pride and identity as a modern Japanese boy unlearning his internalized toxic masculinity and biases as he grows into a man.
But let’s start with the basics.
In case Kirishima’s association with his nation of origin wasn’t clear, his name is a dead giveaway.
Ei: sharp or keen
Ji: kid or newborn
Ro: son
Kiri: jagged or to cut
Shima: island
Eijiro means, as this kind person on the internet puts it, “sharp boy”. They also point out that the “Ei” is written in a way not ordinarily associated with names (which is usually “sharp” like “keen” or “intelligent”), so his name subtly “blunts” his intelligence while still pointing (ha) out that he’s a guy made of sharp rocks. And while that’s cute, it’s his last name that gives us more mileage for interpretation.
Kirishima. “Cut island”. Japan is a nation made up of multiple islands.
Kirishima is meant to be, very literally, a fresh-eyed child of his nation. He is emblematic of masculine heritage and identity. That’s a little more nuanced than saying Kirishima is Japan, but he definitely represents a significant pre-World War II slice of it. And he is on a mission to improve himself, and therefore the country, through a new and improved kind of “manliness”. Plus Ultra, bitches.
Kirishima is a truly wonderful guy and a unifying factor for the class.
One of the first people Kirishima forms a friendship with is Bakugo. I pointed out some of the similarities between Bakugo’s chosen presentation inspiration and Crimson Riot’s background in the Bakugo presentation. I’ll explore that extensively later on, but just keep in mind that it’s not exactly surprising that Kirishima is one of the first to find a common understanding with the class’ resident foul-mouthed, delinquent, western-style-military-costumed bomb.
One of Kirishima’s most notable qualities is his tendency to describe anything he thinks is positive - the ability to show emotional strength as well as physical, shed tears and show sensitivity, do something competently, show consideration for others, act heroically in a general sense - as “manly”. The gender of the person performing the admirable action is irrelevant.
That last part is a big deal for his character, so I will say it again. The gender of the person performing the admirable action is irrelevant.
Crimson Riot, Japanese Delinquents, and “Manly Codes”
Kirishima’s penchant for calling admirable things “manly” isn’t random - it comes from someone else. His personal hero and role model, Pro Hero Crimson Riot, inspires him to use the language and associate it with positive things not limited or defined by gender. Crimson Riot’s dress, speech, and mannerisms, from which Kirishima also draws inspiration, also tell us a lot about him and his beliefs. Basically, we know he’s a Japanese delinquent/Yankee or bosozoku (which is basically a delinquent on a motorbike.)
Crimson Riot’s “manly” credo is rooted in the values and presentation of this real-world delinquent subculture.
If you read the Bakugo presentation, you’ve seen this slide before.
The term “Yankee” was brought over by US soldiers (if you are from the States, you likely already know that a Yankee is someone from the northeast part of the country) and became synonymous with someone from the United States. Japanese delinquents are called “Yankees” because they walk around like a GI from the United States would - rudely, without consideration for others or the existing culture, and with a seeming need to flaunt their status as foreigners (and, more nastily, “winners” over the Japanese.) I talk more about the origins of the Japanese delinquent subculture in the Bakugo presentation, but the subculture’s origin comes down to this: dissatisfaction with the current society and a desire to express individuality born from something that can best be described as Western envy.
In appearance and attitude, Bakugo is also very obviously a Japanese delinquent boy, though he doesn’t use the same iconography of national pride. For the most part, neither do Crimson Riot or Kirishima. There’s a reason for that.
Interestingly, Bakugo lacks these visual markers of the “classic” delinquent look while Kirishima embraces some of them (the color red, the dyed hair with its wild styling, and the modern Japanese flag.) Instead, it seems Bakugo’s chosen delinquent visual identity markers are taken exclusively from the filter of shonen anime delinquents rather than the real world subculture! Their differing attempts to separate the things they like from its historic baggage is fascinating to me, personally.
Bakugo’s outlook and personal presentation leans more towards a fictionalized version of the delinquent than Kirishima and his “manly” mentor’s, but the connection between their masculine presentations and implied personal conducts – or the fact that an underlying code of conduct is central to both identities – is still present.
If you read the article on delinquents I linked, you might notice that it emphasizes that a sense of community and closeness is a probable reason for the delinquent subculture’s enduring existence simultaneous to its rebellious and individualistic slant.
Kirishima and Bakugo are good representations of those two seemingly opposite poles, no? Kirishima focuses on creating a sense of community with himself as the unifying factor while Bakugo initially seeks to separate himself through his individuality.
The Yakuza framing of chivalry is not exactly the same as bushido, but rather the idea of “acting chivalrously” through what they refer to as ninkyodo, or the “way of humanity.” There’s still influence from and elements of bushido in this, however.
If you’re reading this, you’re probably a weeb, so you have likely heard of Way of the Househusband/Goshufukudo. The series’ tagline, “housework without honor or humanity!” is a play on the main character’s status as an ex-Yakuza because he left the Yakuza - or strayed from his ninkyodo/path of humanity - to be a househusband. It’s also a play on the Battles Without Honor or Humanity movies revolving around the same sentiment – except without the househusbandry part, of course.
(Also, the Yakuza created a recruitment website called ninkyodo. Considering the bigger discussion of social unrest and subdued envelope-pushing inherent in this manga, this wacky little blog post is worth a look since it pivots around the Japanese mob being upset with the government’s social programs.)
Delinquent codes draw from the Jingi, or Yakuza code and ninkyodo, which draws from bushido. You know what else draws from bushido? Most forms of contemporary and historic Japanese government.
Bushido has seven core values: gi (justice), yu (courage), jin (benevolence or another word for humanity - and yes, this is the same character as the “Jin” in Twice’s given name, Jin Bubaigawara), rei (gratitude - and no, this is not the same character as Rei Todoroki’s given name but it sounds the same), makoto (sincerity), meiyo (honor), and chugi (loyalty).
Why is this important? Because there is one VERY big difference between Kirishima’s presentation and aesthetic and that of Crimson Riot and Bakugo’s, and it also involves bushido and its masculine, militaristic associations.
In addition to Crimson Riot and delinquent culture, Kirishima blatantly includes kouha as one of his inspirations. Bakugo does not, and it is unclear if Crimson Riot pays attention to them specifically.
What Are Kouha?
Kouha are, as Kirishima’s middle school classmates might say, “old school”. They’re even more old school than delinquents (or Crimson Riot), and they are also deeply nationalist. Kouha were a cultural phenomenon born from the student populations of Japanese military schools (the establishment of the Japanese Imperial Army is considered the first formal step of Japan’s westernization, by the way!) during the Meiji era. They held specific beliefs about male supremacy, masculinity, and national pride. To kouha, these concepts were inseparable from one another. They, and their resulting legacy as soldiers and Navy members in subsequent wars, are the main reason that quasi-nationalist or outright nationalist symbolism is so thoroughly entrenched in Japanese presentations of hypermasculinity even in the modern day.
Basically, kouha = Japanese Nationalists. This is an simplification, but you can read this entire Wikipedia article if you want a better picture of what I mean or need a starting point for your own research.
But don’t freak out! Kirishima’s admiration of kouha is, mostly, for the sake of a pun.
Horikoshi lists one of Kirishima’s favorite things as kouha (called “manly men” or “just manly things” in the most commonly circulated English versions), which means, more or less, “hard school”. It’s a pun on Kirishima’s hardening quirk. However, it also refers to Kirishima’s penchant for historically manly things and hypermasculine presentation.
Kirishima’s “Manly Look” and Japanese Identity
So, to review: Kirishima’s Crimson Riot-inspired philosophy and aesthetic is drawn from delinquent culture, which is a subculture that takes its cues from bushido – literally “warrior way” but sometimes called “samurai code” in English – which is in turn associated with Japanese pride and even nationalism. This association is very clear in Kirishima’s aesthetic. Look at his room. The Mount Fuji and ocean wave iconography, his hachimaki (admittedly this is relatively common among modern Japanese students, but it still carries a history), the tacky flames in representation of a “burning soul”…
But you know what he doesn’t use? Red sunbeams. This is really important.
The specific “tackiness” and “kouha look” Kirishima enjoys can definitely be indicative of outright nationalism, but it is also associated with other hypermasculine subcultures that are not necessarily nationalists, including delinquent subcultures (though modern ones don’t often use the sunbeam-laden rising sun flag anymore. Modern delinquents usually stick to the modern Japanese flag as part of their uniforms or flags)
The fact that Kirishima’s “kouha look” does not include the sunbeam-laden Rising Sun flag (which, from the perspective of non-Japanese, is associated internationally with war crimes and, for related reasons, the Japanese Navy. Consider it a Japanese swastika—not to be confused with the Japanese manji, which is actually a totally different thing) or red sunbeam motif. This could be because My Hero Academia is set 200 years in the future and the rising sun imagery has fallen out of public memory. But personally, I think it is more likely that Horikoshi (and therefore Kirishima) wants to signal that Kirishima doesn’t hold the same beliefs as kouha and Japanese nationalists.
Even so, Kirishima’s “look” still suggests kouha and still associates his masculinity with his national identity.
This isn’t a perfect one-to-one localization, but, for us in the West, we can sort of think of it like this: the difference between Kirishima and a neo-nationalist is not unlike the difference between guys who authentically really like Viking iconography and neo-Nazis who appropriate Nordic iconography for their beliefs. It’s just that Kirishima seems to be reclaiming these symbols in reverse. (It’s probably a really good thing Mina knows Kirishima from his time before UA, or else she might have given him a way more intense and judgemental side-eye over what’s in his room.)
I suppose if one really wanted to, one could use everything I’ve written as an argument to say, “If you like Kirishima, you fell for the Japanese militarism and neo-nationalism apologist ploy”, but I don’t think portraying him as an apologist was the intent. I choose to see this as a shonen comic about superheroes and connecting the past with the present in pursuit of a better future because that’s all I think it is trying to be.
Again: Kirishima and Crimson Riot’s “manliness” philosophy departs from that of the kouha, Japanese nationalists (and neo-nationalists) because it is inclusive. The use of elements of their aesthetic preserves Kirishima’s personal pride as a Japanese guy - specifically as a “masculine” man - while his take on “manliness” is modern and geared towards celebrating the intrinsic goodness of humanity that isn’t defined by gender, sex, skin color, or even nationality, really, except as it applies as it being a thing for each individual to celebrate about themselves.
There’s other stuff kouha did and didn’t do that Kirishima doesn’t seem concerned about, either.
As I’ve said, modern Japanese sociopolitical (and masculine) identity is strongly associated with bushido. Bushido and kouha, particularly during the Meiji era and Russo-Japanese war (y’all ever read or watched Golden Kamuy?), is consequently associated with the Japanese Navy and nanshoku (THIS WIKIPEDIA ARTICLE IS MILDLY NSFW), or the practice of male-male relationships ranging from ritual pederasty to what one could interpret as “just plain gay” by modern western standards.
Whenever the Eastern or Western fandom discusses the possibility of Kirishima being gay-coded, this association between his kouha aesthetic and nanshoku is almost always at the heart of it. Well, that, and Kirishima’s dogged telegraphing of how much he’s into the kouha aesthetic and other “manly” things. To the modern Japanese, a high degree of overblown hypermasculine presentation and speech can come across as performative overcompensating.
However, there’s one big detail that’s usually missing from these discussions in fandom: generally, the display of hyper-masculinity that is associated with performative overcompensating from closeted gay men includes constantly talking about how much heterosexual intercourse they have (which, according to them, is a whole lot) and how much they love women. Carnally. Sometimes they may even hit on women to an absurd and almost cartoonish degree – but usually only performatively in front of others or to try and fool (or repulse) the woman on the receiving end! The goal of a closeted gay person telegraphing heterosexual stereotypes to such an extreme degree is to either:
1. fool other people into thinking that they are not gay (which is often not very successful)
or
2. Keep themselves in denial by playing the part of an ultra-straight dude.
So, if I am using hypersexualized hetero behavior as the main parameter for how gay-coded a character is, I could argue that Mineta is more gay-coded than Kirishima is. He’s not, but I could make the argument.
But why would a gay person feel the need to do either of these things? Oof. Ain’t that the question. Masculine fragility has different nuances between cultures, but it isn’t exclusive to English-speaking countries. Modern Japan (read: Meiji era to post-World War II Japan that did its damnedest to Westernize as rapidly as possible) is relatively homophobic and views homosexuality as, well, “unmanly”. You can read more about that in the kouha and nanshoku Wikipedia articles I’ve linked. That’s the power of comphet!
That said, I don’t think Kirishima is gay-coded based on his affinity for manly stuff. He’s not using it to compensate for his sexuality. If anything, at his lowest, he used his “kouha-manly” presentation to compensate for his self-perceived lack of heroic and “manly” spirit. True heroism is what defines Kirishima and Crimson Riot’s perception of “manliness”, not sexuality. In fact, that’s the core of why their ideology is so progressive and why it flies in the face of its kouha-presenting packaging.
I mean, Kirishima could have any sexuality out there, but I don’t think his “kouha-manly” look is meant to be indicative of it, whatever it is.
Mina Ashido: A Portrayal of Power in Modern Japan
Mina is a major foil to Kirishima, so this writeup would be incomplete if I didn’t talk about her. If Kirishima is the “manly” Japan of a bygone era questioning how he can be relevant, Mina is “effeminate” modern-day, westernized Japan. Also, Kirishima’s key color is red. Hot damn, that’s flashy! It’s also the color of the sun on the Japanese flag! How fitting that Mina is represented by pink, or “light red”.
Simplifying the characters of Mina and Kirishima primarily by gender categories like that is a little more charged than I would prefer, but let me explain my logic.
During Japan’s occupation by the Allies after World War II, women gained, among other things, the right to vote. To quote Wikipedia directly: “It has been argued that the granting of rights to women played an important role in the radical shift Japan underwent from a war nation to a democratized and demilitarized country.”
They also were no longer bound exclusively to the home as wives and mothers, but could also take employment. Got it? Good. While I needed to explain this to set the stage for the stark difference in gender politics between the kouha’s heyday and womens’ standing after World War II, this is only loosely related to Mina and her portrayal.
Much like Kirishima, the biggest tells are evident in Mina’s look. In simple terms, traditional Japanese femininity isn’t flashy, isn’t westernized, and women don’t take the lead. Mina is flashy, westernized, and she does lead. In the manga, this is framed as a positive by her peers and something Kirishima admires and envies. (I have no idea how the older generation feels about it. We don’t know much about Mina’s personal life, unfortunately.)
Mina is a very modern girl. She stands out because of her natural appearance, but she also dresses ostentatiously whenever she isn’t wearing her high school uniform. Her look favors an updated spin on the gyaru subculture. In fact, while part of her natural appearance rather than intentional choice, I could argue that Mina’s startlingly black eyes and “unusual” skin is meant to indicate the yamanba (spinoff from ganguro) fashion subculture, but I’m not sure I am meant to go that far. Regardless of the specifics, everything about her appearance implies the largest commonality between most modern young Japanese women and every female-specific fashion subcultures (including lolita or kogal – Toga is a kogal): rejection of traditional gender roles and presentation.
I’m gonna sum up Kirishima’s own personal plot and backstory for the sake of reference.
Kirishima is a guy with a hardening quirk. It’s not flashy or particularly suited for offense or rescue, and he’s self-conscious about how “worthy” he is to be a hero not just because of his lackluster power, but because, in the past, he’s avoided stepping in situations where, if he were a true Hero, he would have stepped in and offered support without thinking about it!
Sound familiar?
Instead, his childhood friend (that he secretly admires very much but also feels very insecure around) stepped in to be capital-H heroic while he stood and gaped uselessly! And what’s worse? She is a GIRL. A WESTERNIZED GIRL did what he couldn’t do. So, obviously, if he can’t be more heroic and “manly” than a GIRL, he isn’t manly at all. And he’s scared of that.
Sound familiar?!
In high school, Kirishima puts on an outgoing persona (complete with a new hairstyle) inspired by his childhood hero (and also, lowkey, the childhood friend with which he associates the same kind of true heroism) to cover for his insecurities!
SOUND FAMILIAR?!
But that’s enough about how Kirishima and Mina’s story parallels Bakugo and Deku’s for now. Allow me to throw the other parallel in your face - the one between Mina and Kirishima and Japan and the US’s policy changes after WWII.
Mina, the modern, westernized Japanese girl, was first to act when “foreign power with old loyalty” Gigantomachia threatened their classmates. She solved the confrontation – and solved other confrontations with her peers – nonviolently. Meanwhile, kouha-aligned (militaristic and masculine Japan) Kirishima was not only unable to act (aka did not have any military influence), but felt completely useless and superfluous in both of these instances. (But later, when Gigantomachia re-emerges in a context that Mina cannot possibly solve on civil terms or with misdirection, Kirishima is able to defend her and do what she can’t. Even later, Mina learns the best ways to kick someone’s ass with her acid. She acts as the sword - or perhaps more precisely, the spear - to Kirishima’s shield.
If you didn’t know, the “sword and shield” analogy, or more commonly, “spear and shield” analogy is, or, at least, was, used to describe the US and Japan’s relationship after WWII. Whenever Kirishima talks about being the “ultimate shield” or “ultimate spear”, this means something.)
So, yes. This story is about the modern and traditional; the feminine and the masculine; the West and East. Just like Bakugo and Deku.
There exists a complicated relationship between national shame over losing the war, shame from Japan’s own war crimes, shame in Japan’s continued political ineffectiveness without a strong established military, and outright Japanese envy of the West for not only winning the war but epitomizing prosperity and modernity (or appearing to do so, at least.) I really don’t have the background to talk about this in-depth or respectfully. The point is that overt pride in the Japanese identity is a complicated issue, but particularly as it reflects in expressed Japanese masculinity. For Kirishima, his early relationship with Mina and the envy he feels towards her is a succinct crystallization of these feelings in allegory form.
In the Bakugo presentation, I mentioned that the shonen genre was “born” after World War II and the art form still incorporates postwar baggage. This includes the aftermath of the nation reeling from its lack of military power after the war. I’ve already drawn a clear line between Japanese military might and its masculinity, so I don’t feel I need to elaborate much about why I make this next statement: a significant swath of the Japanese felt the loss of military power emasculated the country (which, as discussed through Mina, made it “effeminate”. Or, depending on the perspective, it “infantilized” the country. This introductory course examining shojo manga and identity touches on the infantilization of Japan through media exports and branding if you’d like to read another perspective using this terminology.)
I feel I should mention that Japan’s current crisis regarding declining birth rates is often associated with the lack of “properly masculine” men and the growing ability of modern Japanese women to put off or refuse marriage. The first observational piece about male subgroups discusses how masculine identity and neo-nationalism seem to be closely associated or even conflated for one another by the individuals in the neo-nationalist subgroup, but also alludes to the fact that a lack of clearly defined masculinity is being treated as a national crisis since it is seen as a prohibitive factor for Japan’s current generation to start families. To that end, Prime Minister Shinso Abe pushed for a variety of measures to encourage people to have kids.
In fact, Shinso Abe has achieved meme status in international otaku circles because whenever an anime or manga encourages or portrays sex for the purpose of procreation and raising a family as expected and singularly correct, the community wonders if it’s anime propaganda aimed at encouraging Japanese viewers to go have kids. This, combined with the fact that Shueisha/Shonen Jump upholds certain beliefs and gender/sexuality power dynamics in their company policy that is reflected in their published titles, will be important later in this series of presentations. For now, it’s just something to think about.
In shonen manga, including this one, the focus on men/growing mens’ identity (and the Japanese-specific flavor of masculinity) in a modern and changing world comes up a lot. While not directly related to Kirishima’s chosen counterculture influences, here’s a link to download an observational piece describing three notable cishet male Japanese subgroups struggling to define (or redefine) their own masculinity and identity: herbivorous men (kind of like western hipster metrosexuals), otaku (you know what these are), and Japanese petit-nationalists (basically neo-nationalists. And yes, they share elements from Kirishima’s aesthetic. If this were about Spinner and any heteromorph characters, this particular group would be much more relevant to this discussion.) Here’s another piece focused on “genderless” danshi and masculinity. Both of these pieces discuss the precarious correlation between male identity, community, presentation, and values. That, and I think they’re neat topics – though I do suggest you think critically about what you read in them.
Anyway, let’s get back to talking about this damn manga.
If you ever asked yourself, “How would Bakugo and Deku’s relationship differ if Deku had a quirk?” or, “How would Bakugo and Deku’s relationship differ if one of them was a girl?”, here’s your answer: it would be very similar to the relationship between Kirishima and Mina. Most of the relationships between pairs or sets of characters is meant to reflect off of the relationship between Bakugo and Deku in some way as either a compare/contrast exercise or to show how different things could be if fate had conspired to make one or two small differences in their lives.
This is thematically crucial to understand for almost every moment in the story.
Reflections of Kirishima’s Feelings of Inadequacy and Powerlessness
Kirishima and Bakugo have a lot in common. It’s not terribly surprising they became friends even when Bakugo was at his worst, since Kirishima could likely relate to where he was coming from and how he was feeling on some level.
If you thought Mina being a girl was inconsequential to Kirishima’s feelings of inadequacy, think again. Luckily for everyone, Kirishima isn’t as much of a sensitive, fragile, and dramatic bitch as Bakugo about his insecurities.
Kirishima also hadn’t been explicitly stewing on them as they applied to one specific person for roughly 11 years of his life, either, so. There’s that.
Bakugo’s relationship with Kirishima is an introductory course for him on how to have a positive relationship with Deku. For Kirishima, Bakugo is a proxy for relating to and helping the person in his life that he admires most: Mina.
But the Kirishima-Bakugo parallel isn’t the only parallel we need to draw.
Arguably, Kirishima shares more similarities with Deku than Bakugo (but, of course, Deku and Bakugo are also very similar, too.) Kirishima is not confident in himself, mimics his idol very closely, is very concerned with upholding the status quo (through interpersonal harmony), got into UA through his effort rather than because he has a well-suited quirk, is quick to act “heroically” and put others before himself, is quick to throw himself into danger on others’ behalf (he’s got a hardening quirk, so unlike Deku he doesn’t mangle himself repeatedly with these stunts), and has an I-won’t-admit-it-for-most-of-the-series-but-I-will-broadcast-it-in-other-ways object of admiration in his childhood friend Mina.
Also, Kirishima feels woefully inadequate when compared to Mina because, in his eyes, she already has the appearance of a hero (and professional Hero.)
Kirishima’s outgoing attitude is a product of him pushing himself to be more like Mina in charisma and approachability. The horns of his hair are also inspired by her, too. While both of these things can be framed as parallels to Bakugo’s admiration of Deku as I did earlier, they are more on-the-nose for Deku’s penchant for intentionally talking like Bakugo when he wants to psyche himself out and copying all of Bakugo’s moves in order to best harness his quirk. And, of course, when Kirishima and Deku don disguises to go save Bakugo, they choose outfits with exaggerated horns (like Mina) and a Yakuza/delinquent persona (like Bakugo) respectively.
Kirishima seems to be able to “read the room” when it comes to the relationship between Deku and Bakugo - and in both directions. Personally, I am not surprised that he chooses to quietly support both of them when it comes to the other.
But perhaps the more interesting parallel is the one drawn between Bakugo and Mina.
When Mina uncovers Kirishima’s “secret” (he dyed his hair and changed his outward persona to make a good impression as a friendly and outgoing guy with his “high school debut” rather than come off as a shy fanboy), it’s analogous to Deku telling (albeit vaguely) Bakugo about One for All at the beginning of the manga. Both scenes even take place at the start of the school year with cherry blossoms in the background and stuff. Later in the series, after Bakugo figures out the full secret of OfA (much like Mina figures out that Kirishima wants to be popular), he even explicitly says he’ll keep Deku’s secret.
Mina and Bakugo are both described as “amazing” and both imply significant discomfort over the generalized compliment. It’s a huge expectation to carry.
Mina’s “Alien Queen” is denied as a Hero name just as Bakugo’s “King Explosion Murder”. Huh. Funny, that.
Kirishima and Mina are constantly improving using the other as inspiration, just as Deku and Bakugo do. They learn from other sources, too, of course, but these two sets of characters have an established feedback loop.
While Bakugo doesn’t struggle academically like Mina, especially during the training camp, his personal failures, many of which are social, are often broadcast on television. Both of them look like idiots in front of their respective foils.
Also, Bakugo and Mina both kicked ass at the school festival - Mina with the dancing and Bakugo on the drums. Deku and Kirishima were, you know, support. Extras.
During the festival, Mina and Bakugo were also both demanding taskmasters - Mina expected the best of her dance crew while Bakugo always had something to say about the pace and technique of his band members. Ha!
When Kirishima saves Mina in their confrontation with Gigantomachia, he does it without regard for his own safety (after initially hesitating and panicking like Deku did for the first part of the sludge villain incident!) Gigantomachia is also, interestingly, a shared past foe of Kirishima and Mina much like the sludge villain is for Bakugo and Deku.
Considering how they parallel one another and how Mina’s Acidman Alma is inspired by Todoroki and Bakugo, I like to think that her win against the sludge villain was an inadvertent moment of revenge on Bakugo’s behalf, even if her character didn’t intend for it to be.
Chapter 383′s initial fan title translation of “A Small Heart” is also interesting, considering how the turn of phrase relates to the figures of speech used for Bakugo’s ego in the manga’s early chapters (inflated heart.) Viz translated it as “Meek Spirits”. A “small heart” seems to indicate cowardice or fear on Mina’s part (or the Sludge villain’s.) Despite Bakugo’s inflated ego (heart), his was also rather small in terms of facing his secret fears of inadequacy and, well, Deku.
The point is, even when Mina and Bakugo’s hearts were “small”, they saved Kirishima and Deku respectively.
Someone who knows more about Japanese could say more on this, as well as share more disambiguation between whether the English or Japanese connotations of the word “heart” are at play here. There’s some discussion about that in the Uraraka-Bakugo-Toga presentation.
For all her confidence, Mina gets scared and nervous, too. But she doesn’t give up!
Mina gets it done!
Will Bakugo and Deku accomplish what Mina and Kirishima have? I dunno. But even so,
Kirishima rocks on his own and alongside Mina!

ONESHOT 2 | APOCALYPSE —
TW: Death, gore, blood, weaponry, killing a friend, suicide, oocness.
SHIPS: Kiritodo/hinted Bakudeku.
P/R/F: Platonic
Over fifty years ago, the world began to collapse. A large explosion off in the middle of Japan somewhere was caused. A mass of greyish-green smoke erupted from a small building hidden in the corner of an unpopular street.
The small building was disguised as a paint shop, when in reality it was a lab of unqualified scientists. Scientist's who made experiments that deliver no help to the world.
People ran as fast and far as they possibly could. Some people idiotically stayed nearby, curious as to what in the damn's name was going on; a few held their phones out, recording the scene.
Those who stayed near started to become affected by the smoke. It ventured through their nostrils, ears, eyes, and mouths —anywhere that is a possible opening to the inside of a human's body — it restricted their mobility of breathing, then their skin started to peel off and change to a light grey colour.
Their words slurred; minds fogged over…
Until they were only puppets to the smoke.
Some of those same people died from the mutation caused by the smoke immediately, others became zombified and started attacking the ones unaffected, by biting and digging their fingers into their flesh… anyway possible.
The mass attack had spread quickly. From one part of the country to the other. Some people had even spread it across the globe. To the United Kingdom, Poland, and many more countries, until, there weren't many people left.
Which brings us to today. Fifty odd years later, with only just over two hundred people across the globe left alive.
Shoto Todoroki - a young seventeen-year-old was one of these survivors, along with some friends he's made along the way.
The sky was gloomy, filled with stormy grey clouds with some rain drizzling. The wind howled and pranced around the small group of teenagers. The group consisted of four teenage boys:
- Shoto Todoroki
- Izuku Midoriya
- Eijiro Kirishima
- Katsuki Bakugo
Other than the sounds of their shoes tapping against the asphalt road in sync with the freezing wind, no other noise was made. The group was silent — the type of silence that was tense and unsettling.
Not even two hours ago did the quadripartite lose a member of their squad, and damn it did Shoto blame himself all for it.
Shoto, the others, and their now-deceased friend: Hanta Sero were surrounded by a group of zombies. It all came on so quickly. The zombies surrounding them far too swiftly for the squad's liking. There was no room to run, only fight.
And fight they did. With swing after swing with bats and knives. Shoot after a shoot with some guns they held. Blood, guts, and greying fleshy meat spewed over the five boys, dirtying their clothing; rusting their blades.
The counted leader of the group, Katsuki Bakugo, shouted out commands for each person in the group to do. Pairing everyone up with one another but himself. Shouting out when to attack. His voice echoed on for honestly long miles.
Shoto could feel himself becoming exhausted from all the attacking and trying to run - dammit, this was no time to have some sort of asthma attack now! The dyad-haired boy scolded himself.
He took a glance around the surrounding area. Seeing Katsuki excellently take down the dead figures on his own with no help whatsoever. Izuku and Eijiro back to back shooting and jabbing the zombies with their guns… and Hanta-
Wait… where was the black-haired boy?
Shoto frantically looked around. Spinning at three-sixty degrees plenty of times to the point he became dizzy; he could feel his breathing picking up, anxiety rising with it.
Where was he, where was he, where was he?!
He couldn't see the familiar boy anywhere. Nowhere to be until a scream occurred on the other side of the street.
Shoto glanced over to where the scream came from, there Hanta Sero was…
The others were too busy fighting the zombies themselves — they barely had the space or time to go and save a friend, but no zombie was blocking Shoto's pathway.
So he ran.
He ran towards Hanta, slashing and dashing through the horde of zombies. Stabbing and jabbing. Feet thumping across the asphalt as his chest burned some more until he skidded to a stop in front of Hanta Sero.
Hanta who was kneeling on the floor on the grey-stone pavement, clenching his left hand over his right wrist, his skin tone was greying at a fast rate to the rest of his body, sobs erupted in his throat. The older boy looked up to see Shoto standing there, a distant look crossing his face.
Hanta's teeth clenched in horrid pain. The wound burned far worse than fire. His eyes stung from both the tears and the feeling of the forming of mutating.
From what sounded like in the distance, a trio of footsteps came up from behind shoto.
“Oi, bastard! Don't just stand there, do something!” Shoto felt the blond flick his forehead out of anger as the same said blond kneeled also in front of Hanta.
Shoto and the other two—Izuku and Eijiro - watched as the blond and the black-haired argued back and forth on Hanta's situation.
“Please, it is the only way. I would rather not become like one of those!” Hanta cried out as he glanced from Katsuki to the trio, then straight into the eyes of Shoto begging him to agree to his wishes.
Shoto glanced at the two usually optimistic teenagers on both sides of him, seeing no reaction but sadness and fear. Whereas Katsuki in front of him, was shaking with anger and despair — the counted leader wished not to lose anyone else… Not after losing some others from their squad already (Denki Kaminari, Tenya Iida, Mina Ashido... Katsuki clenched his fists tightly at the thought of his losses).
“I can't do it.” Katsuki stands from his kneeled position, small stones and dirt from the pavement trickling off the creases of his joggers and falling to the spots in front of his red colour faded trainers. He turns away from Hanta, gritting his teeth as he walked away from the group; tears building up.
“Shoto please?” Hanta pleaded. His skin was greying more and more. Shoto could tell he was starting to lose control over the feeling of staying conscious from the horrid virus puppeting him. His words were slurring like a drunken man. His body started to slowly sway from one side to the other.
Shoto was stumped on the choices he was weighed with. To kill his best friend instantly, so he won't have to suffer, or to let the virus puppet his controls as they watch him try to kill him and the other three?
Shoto grabbed his gun from the side pocket of his heavy blue coat, placing a couple of bullets inside as his fingers curled around the handle of the heavy metal junk piece. Pointer finger rested lazily upon the trigger, “if you're sure, Hanta.”
He didn't want his friend to suffer… He'll let his best friend rest in peace, even if it means he'd have to deal with the consequences of killing Hanta.
Hanta frantically nodded, readying himself for the quick pain to send him to eternal rest.
Izuku and Eijiro - once beside Shoto's sides, now backing away from the scenario, not wanting to watch what will go down. They decided to sit on the other side of the now empty street, just where Katsuki sat on a set of stairs that led to what they assumed was once a sweets shop.
Shoto aimed his gun up.
Hanta closed his eyes.
Shoto pressed back on the trigger.
Hanta slowed his panicking breaths, waiting for his end to come for him.
A loud bang suddenly goes off, and Hanta's body slumps forward over as Shoto placed his gun back in the same side pocket as before.
The colour of dark red flowed from the front of hanta's head, causing a puddle of blood to form. His blood was the only colour shown among this boring street of greying death-
“icyhot! Bring yourself back to the present will you, damn bastard!”
Shoto shook the thoughts out, eyes blinking rapidly as he looked around his now new surroundings. “Where are we?” His quiet voice echoed across the empty area.
“We're in a garage area! We decided to camp here tonight to rest!” Eijiro responded as Shoto now noticed the trio in front of him setting up their sleeping bags, Izuku had set up an electric lantern light beside his own dark green sleeping bag.
Shoto slides his bag off his shoulder and kneels to the lino-tiled ground, grabbing his blue one, copying the actions of his friends by placing it on the floor, and soon sits on top of it whilst he digs through his brown shoulder bag next grabbing four small pull-up cans, handing one each to Izuku, Eijiro, and Katsuki along with handing them a plastic spoon each.
“Cheers icyhot.”
“Thanks, Sho!” both Katsuki and Izuku thanked the dyad-haired teenager as he hears Eijiro on his right sigh and then whine next to him. “Sweetcorn again?”
“They're the only cans we have left. All the meaty or pudding ones are empty.” Shoto responded as he started to dig into his cold canned vegetable.
“If you're going to complain like that, why don't you explore for better food, redhead loser?!”
Eijiro decided to give up on his complaint and join in with the rest of the group by digging into his food.
The aura was calmed, and the noise was silent, minus the quadripartite eating and clinking their spoons against their tin cans.
After some time, one after the other, all four of the teenagers were done eating. Now they were all doing their things: Izuku was writing down in his notebook, Katsuki counting his and everyone's weaponry seeing what might come in to use for their long deathly trip, and Eijiro was reading a comic he once stole from Hanta Sero ages ago, now reading it due to the loss of his dear friend.
Shoto sat idly still in his sitting position, face blank; no movement was caused, minus his breathing and sometimes blinking every few minutes or so.
The youngling was stuck in thought, thinking over and over again of the scenario that happened over four hours ago now. Having to kill his best friend… he didn't want him to suffer, so of course he helped Hanta with his wish. He would rather not be seen as a wimp after Hanta's pleads. Plus... it was the apocalypse. There was no other safe route to go down except for death.
Shoto could feel his hands start to shake and sweat at the repeated flashback. It kept replaying. Over and over and over again! He wanted it to stop. Leave his damned mind, let him be with peace!
Suddenly, a loud noise brought Shoto back to the real world. He flinched at the noise; looking up from his lap. His surroundings were dark. How long was he stuck in thought? Eijiro, Katsuki, and Izuku all have fallen asleep, Izuku's lantern ran out of saved charge to keep any light glowing.
Shoto's senses perked as he could hear the sounds of footsteps and hushed voices echoing from the other side of one of the walls behind his back. He grabs his bag from beside him and grabs both a knife and a pistol gun with him, standing from where he sat as he tiptoed over to the wall, pressing his ear up against it.
Though, as he pulled his head immediately away from the wall he noticed there was no sound on that side. Was the apocalypse's madness finally getting to him, causing him to go crazy?
A tap on his shoulder makes Shoto turn swiftly around, yet nobody was behind him, nor anywhere actually. The only people in the room were him and Eijiro, Katsuki, and Izuku — nobody else...
Shoto glances down to the ground, noticing a piece of folded paper by his feet. He bends down and grabs it, unfolding it he sees a few numbers written on it. Was it a code of sorts? He folds the piece of paper back up and places it in to one of the few pockets of his jacket, and heads back to the sleeping trio.
Maybe he'll stay up tonight, he thought, just to keep an eye and ear out for anything odd going on.
A few more hours passed as Shoto stayed far wide awake. The sun was just about rising, flitting glimmers of sun rays through the thin gaps of the huge garage doors. One of the others began to groan awake, Shoto looked over to the group of three and realised it was his curly haired friend Izuku.
“Mornin' Sho!” Izuku immediately perked after realising he wasn't the first to be awake of the lot.
Shoto hums in response, nodding curtly toward the smaller teenager.
With a small conversation happening between the green-haired and the dyad-haired teenagers, Eijiro and Katsuki eventually both woke up, all four decided then to ration out some food they still held on to along with coming up with some plans for their mysterious adventure (although — most of the “talking” was just Izuku and Katsuki arguing about this, that and the other whilst Eijiro tried calming the two, Shoto decided to stay out of it. There was no point in trying to stop the argument anyway.)
The group of four eventually pack their belongings and one by one — like chicks following the mother duck — they leave the space. Eijiro and Izuku talked to each other about anything they possibly could (dreams, their ideas on how the world is like before and maybe after the apocalypse, creating jokes to cheer the quadripartite up; you name it!) Katsuki held a beyond look, glancing at every corner and shadows the world casted looking for any zombies or other walking beings. Shoto stayed stuck in thought, one hand in his heavy blue jacket, as he fiddled with the edges of the once-folded-now-scrunched-up piece of paper he found last night.
He suddenly slides the paper out of his pocket; gently unfolding the creased paper and reviewing the numbers again. What could the numbers possibly mean, why so ominous; who placed it on the floor and why?
“What you got there bro?” Shoto jumps as he looks to his left side, seeing Eijiro peeking over Shoto's shoulder at the paper he held, his eyes squinting confused at what he was reading.
“Oh… I found this last night on the floor of the garage-”
Katsuki abruptly stops in his steps as his ears perked up at what he heard his quiet acquaintance say, causing the same-said male to bump into his back. He turns around to face the heterochromatic-eyed boy, seething fire on the sides of his face, as he jabs a finger at the youngest of the group.
“You found a note… And didn't bother to tell us?!”
“I was going to eventually-!”
“When, huh?!”
Mere silence.
Katsuki rips the paper out of Shoto's grip, reading it over for himself whilst mumbling, “freaking Half-and-half, absolute stupid bastard.”
The world was quiet around them for a couple of minutes — like a television's volume being turned to mute by the control of a simple button.
“They're coordinates.” Katsuki eventually talks up.
“What-?”
“They're coordinates to some place!” The blond grins then wavers the paper high into the air, “I say we check it out!”
“W-wait!” Izuku interrupts, “but what if it's a trap?!”
“Then we'll fight our way out of the trap!” Katsuki faces forwards again and starts speed-walking ahead, Izuku and Eijiro running, following behind the usually angered boy, Shoto soon walking after them in thought.
He's got a bad feeling about where these “coordinates” are, Shoto internally tells himself, clenching one fist together tightly.
Their walk went on for a couple more hours and now, the group was hiding behind a fallen concrete-grey wall, hiding away from some zombies they'd now encountered. The excitement the group held mere minutes before has now drowned to the darkest depths of the ocean, whilst seriousness and concentration surfaced to the top.
They stood as still and quiet as possible, waiting with baited breaths for something to happen: whether that was for an outraged attack to be caused or for the zombies to disperse, none of the four was sure.
“Fuck it, I'm going in!”
“Wha- Kacchan no!" yet Izuku's response failed to reach the ears of his childhood friend as the same blond ran out from behind their hiding spot, shooting bullets and jabbing the butt of his gun into the heads of the zombies.
“He kind of has the right idea, dude.” Eijiro shrugs, feeling slight defeat in not helping the other to stop their teammate from dangering himself. Izuku tilted his head to the ground and sighs then looks back at Eijiro in the eyes, “I guess he does, right!” Izuku then grabs his gun from the top of his partly opened bag and runs out too, following the counted leader, helping him seize the layer of zombies.
“We should probably help them before Katsuki shouts at us.” Eijiro commands Shoto as the dyad-haired teenager nods and hums in response, the two following the other duo.
Shoto decided to use a machete he found long ago, sneaking up to a standing still zombie and swinging the blade at the side of its greying and peeled-off neck, its close-to-black blood splattered onto his pale skin; the zombie's head slicing jagged off the start of the body's neck.
The head rolled onto the asphalt road, causing a small stream of blood to be caused whilst the rest of the zombie's body collapsed over on its side.
The sound of footsteps slowly coming up to Shoto with a heavy beat to it caused the teenager to swiftly turn around and immediately stab the blade of his machete into the top of a zombie's forehead, he could see the tip of the machete coming out of the other side of the zombie's head, the same zombie collapsed forwards ragdoll-like on to the road, same as the other zombie.
Two more of them came up to Shoto. Teasing him as they walked ever so slowly. Shoto stepped towards them and stabbed them both — one immediately after the other — in the chests, kicking them to the ground as he then stabs them in the tops of their heads too.
“DEKU!" Came the sudden distanced voice of his counted leader. Fright and panic wavering in his tone. Shoto perks his head away from the two zombies he just slaughtered and over to where the voice echoed from. Not all that far away he could see a clear view of Izuku Midoriya lying still on the cemented pavement, Katsuki Bakugo kneeling over his body, his shoulders hunched and tense yet shaking.
Was he crying? What's wrong with Izuku? Shoto questioned as he began making his way over.
Though his steps were too slow. Suddenly, a loud sharp bang goes off.
Katsuki's figure slumped over Izuku's one in an instant, blood trailing down the side of his forehead as the gun he once gripped onto slid out of his grip, sliding onto the other side of Izuku's deceased figure.
“What the hell was that noise?!” Eijiro, winded, came running up behind Shoto - his figure slightly hunched over as he took in deep gasps of breath.
Shoto stayed silent. Taking the chance of Eijiro not focusing on the scene in front of him by walking up to the now dead duo, digging into the pockets of Katsuki's hooded jumper as he finds the paper the blond male once stole from him, along with grabbing Katsuki's and Izuku's guns and any other items; placing them inside his bag.
There was no time to mourn when it came to the apocalypse.
He stands from where he was kneeling and twisted away from their bodies, heading back over to Eijiro at perfect timing as the spiky redhead finally caught his breath and started to stand normally. Shoto grabbed Eijiros' wrist and twisted him around, pulling him along the road, passing the two dead bodies of his friends.
“Woah‐ okay! Bro where are we going?”
“To wherever these coordinates Katsuki was going on about are.”
“Without him? Where is he actually- and Izuku, dude?” Eijiro suddenly felt the horrid aura that cocooned Shoto. Something bad went down and Eijiro wasn't there to notice, the spiky redhead thinks.
The aura stayed like that for the rest of the day, seeping into the evening. Shoto and Eijiro — not even ten minutes ago — have come across a food shop of some kind, so with no thought in mind, the two internally agreed upon raiding the said shop… If the food was still edible and not stolen, that is.
“I knew the outside of this looked big, but damn… The inside is so much bigger!” Eijiro excites whilst Shoto hummed in response. They both walked in synchronisation over to one of the closest food aisles; both covering their mouths and noses at the horrid stench it brought.
Rotten vegetables and fruit are strewn messily on the shelving and littering the white-tile floor.
Disgusting, both redheads thought.
They explored the large shop for a while, and in the middle of doing so they accidentally split up whilst looking for anything edible and maybe some good drinks too. Both piled their bags to the brim with what the duo both liked and may eat in the future on their everlasting survival adventure.
Half an hour later and the two find each other again at the very far back of the shop, standing near an “employee's only” door which Shoto stood near against with an ear up to the door, eijiro standing close by. When the two paired up again and were about to talk, they heard voices coming from the other side of the door.
They waited near the door for a while. Two minutes, five minutes… eventually a couple more minutes crossed the line and the voices stopped. Shoto glanced towards Eijiro who held a stern look, nodding towards the dyad-haired teenager, indicating for him to open the door. They both got their weapons out ready, in case anything bad happened.
Shoto brings a hand down to the handle on the right, gripping the bronze metal tightly as he pushes the handle down. It squeaked slightly, causing both boys to cringe and wince at the noise as Shoto suddenly shoves the door open.
What he saw was not expected.
Instead of there being a standard boxy room for employees of the food shop they stood in, there was, instead, a large barrier/fenced-in area outside with newly made buildings and camping tents filling the ground. Various people roamed about. Some looked like guards, whereas most were just plain surviving civilians.
Eijiro came up beside Shoto as he peeked into the doorway also, “Woah…" He breathed out.
Suddenly a bulky male in dark clothing came up to the doorway, and in a deep voice he spoke. “You can't enter unless you've got a paper slip to do so.” he says, crossing his arms. He looked terrifying, Shoto thought, whilst he dug into his pockets looking for the piece of paper with the numbers he held, though silently gasping and starting to inwardly panic as it was not in any of his pockets.
Shoto was about to freak out until- “here, I got it.” He looked over to see that Eijiro handed the bulky man the paper, did he drop it by any chance if so, when?
The bulky man stands to the side, guiding his arm out after reading over the paper. “you may enter.” he tells as eijiro goes through the door. Shoto was about to follow when the same bulky man stopped him, pushing Shoto away from the doorway, “you cannot.” The man demands, “you don't have a permission slip to do so.”
What...?
“Why can't he enter?” Eijiro butts in for Shoto as the man turns to face him slightly whilst also making sure to keep an eye on Shoto, thinking the dyad-haired teenager might do something suspicious.
“Only a certain number of people are allowed to enter this camp. The amount is one hundred and fifty, you filled up the last slot; there's no more room for him to join.”
“That doesn't even make sense… This is a safety camp for the survivors of this apocalypse, right? Then let him enter! Who cares about how many people can or cannot come here, just let-” Eijiro's words were suddenly interrupted by the man jabbing a sharp, jagged blade into his chest. Eijiro staggered backward, collapsing to the ground with a loud yet dense thump.
"EIJIRO!"
Shoto attempted to enter, wanting to run and comfort his very friend. Tears begged to fall from the corners of his eyes, blurring his vision slightly.
The bulky man pushed Shoto away once more as Shoto shouted out for Eijiro again, watching as the life drained from the spiky redhead's eyes, his body becoming still and fragile.
As Shoto screamed and cried for his last friend, the man slammed the door closed in front of Shoto, the sound of it locking as Shoto falls to his knees, his body tensed with shaking as his tears freed themselves by rolling down his pale skin and causing small puddles of salt water to form on the white tiles.

The first time you noticed, you thought you were imagining things. It was only an innocent accident; knocking on his door one night to ask if he was hungry. You know, a pure-hearted gesture that older siblings did all the time. He didn't answer, but you could hear the faint sound of his voice through the wooden door. You're so pure, thinking he was speaking to someone on the phone. Until your name leaves his drooling lips, you freeze. Twisting the door open quietly, you peer through the small crack. Perhaps your mind began playing tricks on you, just someone else with your name, right? Many excuses were created that night because you didn't want to believe it was true. The opening was angled perfectly for you to see.
Saliva trickled down the corners of his mouth, his mind was lost in a haze. Mumbling incoherent curses as he focused his gaze on his red smartphone. A picture of you in a bikini from your family vacation out of the country displayed across his screen. You tried to pull your eyes away, thinking it was some random girl who resembled you. Even as you continued to watch him scroll through a catalog of photos, ranging from your exposed cleavage in a low cut shirt to more revealing clothing, you still believed it was all a lie.
His hands dipped inside the waistband of his shorts, releasing his girthy member from its cage. Wrapping his hand around the tip, he pumped around his length as expletives spewed from his mouth. Your palm clasped around your mouth to hold back your shock as you watched. Eijiro's precum leaked into his fist before he groaned and yearned for more. He briefly released his member as it protruded in the air. Spitting into his palm and fisting his cock, he wished it was you instead.
Eijiro heard you at his door that night, knocking before peering inside and gasping as you watched. He saw your shocked face from his peripheral vision, but of course you were too dumb to notice that. As his cum oozed into his fist and a final loud groan of your name echoed through the walls, you finally scurried off to your bedroom, trying to forget about the embarassing encounter.
The second time, you couldn't deny it anymore. Just as you managed to convince yourself that it was not you in those pictures, more signs emerged. You want to believe you're hallucinating when you notice a spikey-haired figure looming through the curtains as you showered. Perhaps your eyesight has been getting worse, you swear you see the flash of a camera light through an opening in your bedroom door while changing. Or when you heard shuffling inside your closet as you were knuckles deep inside your aching core after a stressful workday.
You wanted to tell your mother, surely she could give you a solution to this. That idea ended, however, when you noticed her gushing over her new step-son, pro-hero, Red Riot. Eijiro managed to capture the hearts of nearly every civilian in your town. Swooning the masses with his infectious smile and upbeat personality. To everyone, including your mother, he seemed like the perfect son. Always helping her around the house during his free-time, bringing her flowers and other expensive gifts, and making friendly conversations with the woman.
Going to his father, or your step-father, was completely out of the question. Watching the way he proudly displayed his son on a pedestal made you gag. Your step-father made very little attempts at building a relationship with you; a memory of him asking your mother to kick you out of their home replays in your mind. Would he believe you? You can imagine him accusing you of trying to ruin their family, although you were the daughter of his wife. Hearing your mother almost agree with her new husband, before quickly changing her mind, caused a sharp pain in your chest.
The few times you spoke with him, he was always condescending. Complaining about how you only took up space in their home and tarnished the name of their family by not becoming a pro-hero. Onlookers could easily tell that he preferred the company of his son over you. Initially, your mother seemed disturbed by his words. Yet, only after a few months, they began to share the same sentiments. "Why couldn't you be a hero like your brother?" "At least someone in this family cares about our future." "Worthless, all she does is sit on her ass all day... What a waste."
The more unprovoked insults were cursed at you, the more you began to avoid your step-father completely. You weren't in the mood to argue with him and deny all of his meaningless accusations. Ignoring Eijiro's behaviour slowly became impossible and there was no one willing to help you. Trying to be dismissive brought you no progress. Finally, you decided to confront your step-brother.
Tonight, you knocked on the wooden door leading to his room. The familiar tapping of your knuckles sends shivers down your spine; you didn’t want to think about that night but your mind flooded those images back. Soft, yet audible moans were heard beyond the door. Again, your name. This time, however, you wouldn’t make the mistake of opening it. Instead, you knock again — even yelling his name multiple times to get his attention.
“I’m coming!” The loud stomping of his footsteps causes the ground to tremble. Finally, the redhead opens the door. He seems disheveled and pants like he’s just finished a marathon. The waistband of his sweatpants wrap loosely around his waist. “What’s up, big sis?”
“Hey, Eijiro… Um, there’s something I need to talk to you about,” You watch as the hero's face becomes puzzled and concerned. “It won’t take too long, promise.”
Upon reassuring him, he nods and moves his body out of the path for you to enter. Eijiro’s room is a lot bigger and more polished than yours. It was your room before your step-father forced you out to make space for his golden child. Inside was his own personal gym, trophies he was awarded for his work, Crimson Riot and motivational posters, and, of course, framed photos of you and the family. You tried to ignore the sweet yet musky scent of the devious acts he was doing before you arrived.
He sits on the end of his camouflage bed and pats a seat next to him for you. You try to piece together some sentences but your mind is still hazy, leaving the redhead adjacent to you lost. After staying in silence for a few seconds, he clears his throat before speaking.
“So… what do you need to talk about?” Rubbing the back of his neck anxiously, he waits. You always hated when he pretended to be innocent, the same facade he does when dealing with your mother and step-father.
“Kiri… I know,” Only a few words manage to leave your mouth as he peers up at you. His expression changes from guilt to innocence in the blink of an eye. Eijiro knew one day you would question him about his actions, so he's been preparing.
“I don’t know what you mean.” He seems genuinely confused; if you were a fool, you would be convinced by it.
"I know," Your eyes closed as you sighed and tried to relax your fuzzy mind. "I know about the pictures."
"The pictures..?" Eijiro's eyes cast a persuading yet pitiful glance at you, trying to make you feel ashamed for asking him. You weren't fazed because deep down, you knew it needed to end. "What pictures are you talking about?"
"The pictures you have of me on your phone. That's what I'm talking about." Trying to sound stern didn't work on him and he remained with the same posture and facial expression: a hand still nervously scratching his spikey-hair and wide puppy eyes as he stared at you.
"Big sis, I really don't get what you mean. I only have family photos with you, nothing else. I love you and mom, you guys are my entire world. I want us to be happy, but you always make it hard-" Before he could finish the rest of his sob story, you interrupted him.
"Don't lie, Eijiro." His gaze seems to soften as he continues to watch you. Finally, he realized that you wouldn't back down and trust him. All you wanted was for him to stop talking, the same words that could manipulate the hearts of your parents would never bypass yours. "I'm not mad, I just want to talk." That was a lie, the whole situation made you livid.
Truthfully, this encounter was better than trying to discuss it with your mother or step-father. They would fall for his lovely words, melting as they listened to him professing his undying love for his older sister who refused to reciprocate. You were only cautious about interacting with him once you learned about the pictures; imagine what he would try to do if you two were alone. The thought was nauseating; they always criticized you every time you seemed to act inconsiderate to Eijiro. Always making himself seem like the holy child, you were the unruly one.
As a few seconds pass, Eijiro shuts his eyes tight. His lips tremble as if tears threaten to fall down his cheeks, but his dry eyes say otherwise. If he tried to cry his way out of this situation, you weren't sure what you would do next. Exhaling a deep and long breath, he finally starts to speak.
"I'm sorry... I didn't mean to- I just couldn't stop myself." Caving in, he admits and tries to find the right words to remedy your anger.
"I'm really disappointed in you. It's inappropriate for a brother to do that to his sister-" As you start to lecture your younger step-brother, he interrupts you. Just like an annoying little sibling, he wouldn't sit still and listen to your scolding.
"We aren't related." The unusual sound of his serious and monotone voice makes you freeze. Eijiro looks up at you with an agitated and deadpan expression, unlike his normal behavior.
"Eijiro, don't say things like that. It doesn't matter if we're related or not, our parents are married. I only see you as my brother and nothing else."
The bitterness of your words left a stinging discomfort in his heart. No, he did not want to believe it. Always convincing himself that it didn't matter since you two were not related by blood. The cold reality of your relationship seemed to be something that his delusion refused to let him accept. Eijiro doesn't care about meaningless labels like who is 'brother' and 'sister', he would have you to himself in the end. He was certain. His heart is still shattered, no amount of his convincing would change this.
"Well... you're more than a sister to me." Before you can scold him for spewing nonsense, his lips part as he speaks ahead of you. "I've always felt that way about you, before the wedding... when we first met." Too stunned to speak, you wonder if your brother was truly in the right mental state because all he said was pure foolishness. Suddenly, his head falls to his palms as he covers his face in anguish. "Why..? Why did they have to get married..?"
"...What? Why are you asking me that?"
"Because it's not fair... you're perfect for me, but I can't have you and it's not fair..." Eijiro raises his head as he stares at you again, this time pleading for you to understand him. "You don't get it, but you're all I can think of. I dream about you, about us. Every time we're apart, I can't stop wondering about you. When I close my eyes, you're the first thing I see. Fuck, it's awful when I'm in this house with them. I hate looking at them because they always remind me that I'll never have you."
“N- No, Eijiro. Stop…”
“No?” He relaxes in his seat and seems more than dejected. “…Why do you always ignore me? Is it because of the pictures? I’m sorry, I’m sorry. I know I messed up… I’m so fucking dumb,” Balling his fists, he hits his forehead an alarming number of times while chanting “stupid, stupid” before stopping. “I know I disappointed you, just let me be good for you… I’ll change. Let me love you, let me worship you… please? I’ll be good… tell me you love me, praise me. Anything… I just need you right now, sis…”
"Eijiro..." Honestly, you weren't sure how to respond. You said the only thing that came to your mind, like the responsible big sister that you are. For a second, his eyes sparkle in hopes that you felt the same way. "Don't disrespect our parents."
Again, the harsh truth instantly reminds him of your situation. Of course, there was no possibility that you would agree with him. You were always better than him in every way, always resolute and steadfast, it makes him envious — you couldn't be swayed by him.
"Disrespect?" He says in disbelief before shrugging his shoulders and staring away. "I don't care. I wonder why you care, though. My dad always talks bad about you behind your back. I'm sure you know he hates you." You also can't figure out why you valued their marriage so much. "If it wasn't for that fucking wedding, you'd be mine. Wish I could tear up those dumb marriage papers..." Eijiro chuckles to himself before lowering his head to the ground.
He knows his actions were wrong, the mental toll of his behavior was gnawing at his morality every time he saw you. The only time he successfully manages to think otherwise is when he needs to ease the pressure from his swelling bulge. It was embarrassing, a hero meant to protect others from harm had caused his only sibling to go through discomfort and pain because of his devious acts. Only deserving of the worst karma and punishment.
Seeing him become saddened, you couldn't help but feel bad. You didn't hate him, you just didn't like his actions. Although his speech made you sympathize with him slightly, you couldn't urge yourself to do unholy things with him. Until...
"Look, I'm sorry if I sounded harsh. I just... I just need you to stop thinking about me like that." To you it seemed simple, but you were asking him to do the impossible. A smile tries to creep across his lips but soon fades, too heartbroken. What would a good big sister do in this situation? You finally decided to cave in, the only option you could think of. "If I help you... will you stop?"
"Yeah, I guess... but how will you help?" He seems hesitant to obey your request, yet decides to follow you.
"We can try something, just once. I'll help you get over it. You need to promise that you won't take pictures of me again."
"O- Okay, I promise." Although he isn't sure what you'll do next, Eijiro already has some ideas in his mind. Raising himself up until you two are eye-level, he seems ready to engage in whatever solution you plan. He knows he won't be compliant for long, but that doesn't affect him at all.
"Um, alright... Let's make this quick, yeah? I think they'll be home soon." An hour prior, your parents left home to attend a double date with another couple who lived nearby. Having them home during this whole encounter would only make things worse, you thought. Unsure where to begin, your hands nervously twitched together as your face flushed with warm heat.
"Nervous?" He interrupts your deep thoughts while staring up curiously. You didn't notice the impatient thumping of his foot against his floor as he waited.
"Yeah... I don't know where to start-" Start? You shouldn't be doing this at all.
The feeling of the redhead's lips against your neck makes you halt. Peppering kisses along the skin above your jugular before gliding is tongue along your collarbone, Eijiro's patience ran thin and he just couldn't listen to your rambling anymore. Instinctively, your hands grasp his shoulders as you try to slow down the excited hero who's too busy massaging your plush skin.
His fingers clawed into the cotton of your pajamas, leaving harsh bruises that would surely ruin your skin in the morning; so energetic, he accidentally hardened his fingers as dug into you. Your protesting went ignored, he waited too long for this moment and there was no way he would lose it. Moving his lips to kiss your lips to muffle your calls and slipping his tongue inside your wet cavern to shut you up, until you finally pulled away.
"S- Stop..!" You pant once you manage to escape his grasp. He begins to frown once again, too worried that he'll upset you. Secretly, you don't want to enjoy it too much or else you'll want more. "Don't do that..."
Pulling away from his arms, he thinks you'll leave him alone to deal with the growing tent in his sweatpants that is proudly on display and hard for you to ignore. You move up his bed until you're leaning against his headboard and pillow. Eijiro's gaze seems to ease once he sees you pat your legs for him to come closer. He soon follows like a pitiful and lonely man approaching the calls of a siren.
"Lay down." The hero follows your directions, waiting for you to place a pillow in your lap before finally resting his head on the soft padding.
Holding the hem of your pajama shirt, you lift the clothing until your breasts are exposed to his lustful gaze. The whole encounter, you failed to notice his constant glances to your chest once he noticed you weren't wearing a bra. His lips slightly parted and showed his sharp teeth, too mesmerized at the beauty in front of him. Brushing some of his locks away from his forehead while staring down at Eijiro, you hadn't noticed some of his features after ignoring him for so long. His usual furrowed eyebrows and aggressive eyes softened under your touch.
The pro-hero who was applauded by nearly every civilian and had posters of his tough aesthetic plastered everywhere seemed so docile, it was hard to fathom. Luckily the eyes of his fans and the world weren't watching him, this was something only you were lucky enough to see. Placing his hand up to one of your tits, you try to guide his large palm to massage your flesh. His drunken eyes move watch as he thumbs across your buds, a choked whimper leaves both of your throats almost simultaneously.
Whining and shifting uncomfortably, his hips bucked into the empty air as he desperately searched for something to help relieve himself; it was quite pathetic watching the manly hero squirm underneath you. His free hand palmed the front of his sweatpants trying to unsuccessfully release tension from his aching body. Softly chuckling at his actions, you replaced his hand with your own; pressing down at his hardened member. Your laughter soon followed with a gasp once feeling the impressive size in your hand through the loose fabric.
"C- Can I..?" He sheepishly asks as his fingers are busy toying with your nubs and peers up at you.
By now, you've forgotten the purpose of your actions. He's wrong, you're just as bad as him. The little morality in your mind narrowly escapes with your next words. Perhaps deep down, you yearned for the same wishes.
"Can you, what? Use your words for me," Grazing along the length of his shaft, you watched as he shuddered and blushed. Cute, you should try this more often. "Baby boy..." The name slips out of your mouth almost automatically and, for a second, you wonder why you aren't ashamed of yourself anymore.
Seeing him perk up in excitement fueled a side that you left hidden for a long time. This is what a good sister would do, right? Even if it meant that you could control your step-brother's lust for a short time, it wouldn't hurt to play along. Get everything over with before leaving him after his high and weeping in your room after a surge of guilt. This was only to help and get him to leave you alone. Yet, if this was so wrong, why did you feel a throbbing ache between your thighs?
“I need to- Can I s- suck on your tits, please..? Hurts bad… wanna taste…” He whispered in a tiny voice.
“That’s it…” Upon seeing you nod and oblige to his wishes, his lips hungrily wrapped around your bud while clutching tightly to the one in his hand. Flicking his tongue against your flesh before suckling, he watched as your face contorted in pleasure. “Good… good boy…”
His sharp teeth sink into your skin until you wince at the sudden pain. Eyeing him with a look that says “No biting”, you watch as he defiantly relaxes in your hold. You didn’t know, but it was humiliating for him to be so submissive. Yet, there was no part of him that wanted to press your body against his firm mattress and ravage you until your parents heard the echoes of your moans through his room. No, Kirishima secretly enjoyed this. As much as you and possibly even more. It wasn’t too bad, manly boys need love too.
Rolling his tongue over the bud, he eagerly listened to your small hushed gasps at his movements. One of his fingers tweaked and pulled at your free bud until a sore feeling erupted over your skin. Palming his member through his sweatpants you desperately wanted to release it from its strong hold. With each harsh suckle on your skin, Eijiro’s hips would buck into your hand, wishing and hoping for a meager release.
His wet, flat tongue ghosted along your areola. Soon, you joined him in trying to find friction for your core. Flicking your bud and encouraging more sinful sounds to escape your throat. Trying to hush your moans proved to be a task that you soon abandoned.
“Mmh~ E- Eiji… you’re so good… perfect.” Trailing your hands over his clothed region, you felt his hips buck into your palms as he sought after a meager release. Removing his hands from your bud, he roamed down past the flesh and to your pajama shorts before slipping his fingers inside and massaging over your clothed clit.
“Look at you, so pretty… is this all for me..?” You say whilst tugging the waistband of his sweatpants down and exposing his member to the warmth inside the room. “So big… just for me…”
Your fingers wrapped around his girthy shaft as you felt the straining member twitch happily in your palm. A low groan floated out of his throat as your thumb grazed his oozing tip, precum coating your skin. Quickly, you pulled your hand away before bringing your thumb to your mouth and savoring the salty clear essence on your tongue. Eijiro released another stressful whine from his lips and tugged on your bud with his teeth. You didn't know, but he hates teasing.
"Eiji..!" You gasped once feeling the boy's razor sharp teeth pierce the fragile skin of your areola. Upon seeing you wincing in pain, he brought his fingers towards your cheek and caressed your skin.
"I'm sorry... Don't get mad at me..! Need you bad, please... It hurts, don't leave," Eijiro left soft pecks along your chest, before leaning upwards and attaching his lips to your neck and cheeks.
"Okay... Okay, I'm not mad... Lay down again." Gently pushing his chest until his head was placed in your lap again, your hand returned to its hold on him while he sighed in relief.
Pumping his length in your fist, you watched as his hips bucked into your hand. His chest heaved repeatedly against your body until a spew of expletives left his mouth, just like that night. Slowly enveloping his veiny cock into your palm, you watched as the boy soon became restless in your hold. Shifting his lower region of his body until he could feel more pleasure surge to his untouched cock. A deep red covered his cheeks and nose while his eyes shut tightly.
Setting a slow pace seemed to make him more restless with every passing second. Nearly snapping his hips upwards in frustration, his face shifted in discomfort.
"P- Pleeease... I can't..." Eijiro's hands returned to grasp onto your still exposed breasts, clinging tightly as if he thought you would run away.
"Eiji, I told you to use your words," Groaning, he seemed too reluctant to listen to your encouragement. "What's wrong, baby? Tell me..."
Reaching down, one of his empty hands tightly wrapped around your fingers and his shaft. As he nuzzled closer to your flesh and inhaled your scent, he guided your hand to pump along his foreskin faster. Once you reach the perfect speed, his lips encompass your pebbled flesh once more. A few more low moans and gasps echoed through the room and vibrated against your skin.
"F- Faster, please... fuck," Eijiro begged into your skin, releasing his hold on your body for a few seconds as his muscles began to sieze.
Quickening your pace, his sticky clear nectar coated your fingers as you massaged his cock. Eijiro's body soon completely stilled in your grasp, rutting his hips into your hand as his breath became more rigged. Arching his back against your thighs, you could feel the twitching of his cock in your palm. His hot breath tickled the skin on your flesh as you watched his face flush with heat. Detaching his lips from your buds, a string of saliva connected you together before breaking apart.
"Fuck, fuck... it's- i'm c- coming..!" Creamy, white essence poured from his reddened tip, trickling down the back and inside of your hand. Soon painting your hands white as he emptied himself inside your palm. His grasp on your body tightened while you coaxed out every drop from his aching balls. Gritting his teeth as his body shuddered against yours, Eijiro finally rested his head against your thighs again, still cooling down from his high.
You scanned around his nightstand until you spotted a box of tissues — some were crumpled and placed next to a mysterious looking bottle of lotion, but you ignored it. Reaching for the tissue, you cleaned your fingers and some cum still oozing out of Eijiro’s tip. The panting sweaty hero seemed to get comfortable in your hold as he continued to nuzzle closer to your chest, almost wanting to drift asleep.
“Eiji, this is the last time, okay? Don’t get your hopes up.” After cleaning your fingers and his now limp member, you tossed the tissue on the nightstand. Kirishima knows this won’t be the last time. “And clean these up, it’s gross.” Too dazed from his high, the boy couldn’t listen to his sister’s usual scolding, you tried gaining his attention in another way. “Where’s your phone?”
“Here…” He weakly passed his phone to you, not bothering to ask any questions.
“What’s the password?”
“1610.” His birthday, of course.
Opening his gallery, you scan the photos. His most recent ones seem to be low-quality dick pictures and a couple of selfies with his friends, you would usually press about them but decide not to bother the drowsy hero. You find an album of your indecent photos, much more than you first imagined. Quickly, you deleted the album, which resulted in every single photo of you disappearing as well. Even making sure that he couldn’t restore them any time soon.
“What did you do?” He asks as a couple words slur from his lips. After resting for a couple minutes, he seems to regain his senses.
“I deleted the pictures. Please, I don’t want to see them again.” Tossing the phone across the bed, you pull down your shirt and help tuck his member away in his sweats.
“Why am I such a pathetic brother? I can’t even get that shit right.” Lifting himself off of your lap, he rests his body against the cushioning of his mattress before staring up at the ceiling, lost in thought. “Why don’t you stay with me? Wanna cuddle?”
“No, I’m a little tired. I need to go back to my room before they come home.” Raising off the bed, you make it to the door before he can say any more persuading words for you to stay.
“But, what about you? I can make you feel good, come. Please..? I'll lock the door so they won't bother us... Don't you want to stay with me?” Trying not to look into his eyes, you tidy your clothes before heading to the door. He tries reaching for your hand but you swat him away.
“I’ll figure something out.” You had no choice, the throbbing pain in your core needed to be dealt with soon. A pool of slick in your panties makes walking uncomfortable.
Eijiro pouts as he watches you leave and desperately wants to call after you. The sound of his bedroom door clicking shut reminds him that again, he is alone. The ecstasy from your comforting touch began to wear off. Soon, he found himself miserable and thumping his foot against the mattress, he wished you were still here. As he relaxed on his bed, he knew this was something lingering. A feeling that neither of you would ignore over the next couple of days. He yearned for more. Beyond a momentary pleasure, he knew he needed more.
You heard his frustrated yet loud huffs as you stood by his door. No matter what would happen, you promised your self not to give into temptation. Although your methods might not be the best, if you were lucky, you wouldn’t have to worry about any pictures for a long time. As you walk towards your bedroom to prepare for a sleepless night, the front door of your home swings open and reveals your mother and step-father returning from their date.
“(Y/N)! How’ve you been?” Your mother says while smiling up at you. Your step-father barely gives you a glance and simply walks straight past you to their bedroom. Giving your mother a simple “good”, she continues. “Don’t worry about him. We had a little fight on the way back, but it’s fine!” She says gleefully but you know a little fight is an understatement. “Were you in Eijiro’s room?”
“Y- Yeah, we were just talking…” Although you tried not to bring too much attention to yourself, you couldn’t stop the look of embarrassment on your face.
“I’m glad. I really want you guys to get closer, you know? It’s hard since everything feels sudden, but give him a chance. He’s very nice!” She sets her coat on a jacket hanger before taking off her shoes and placing them by the door.
“We’ll see what happens.” This is the only time.
Riot ❤️🔥 (2:54 AM) : sis, are you still up? I can hear you from my room
You (2:56 AM) : sorry just having trouble sleeping
Fingers playfully dancing around the hood of your clit trying to bring yourself to a climax that fails to erupt. Moans and pants of annoyance echo through the walls. Your mother hears it but your step-father is dismissive. Eijiro finally brought a girl home, he thinks.
You (2:58 AM) : but why are you still up?
Riot ❤️🔥 (2:59 AM) : dunno, can’t sleep too
He can’t sleep because as your loud sounds bounce off the walls and into his ears, he feels himself spark with excitement. There are no photos to ease his desires anymore. All he can imagine is having your body in his bed, contorting in pleasure. The feeling of your flesh against his tongue and teeth and your hands massaging around him. He soon learns his own hands aren’t enough anymore.
You (3:04 AM) : need some help with something… wanna come over?
It’s almost poetic. Through your righteous speeches about being “siblings” with no blood relation or needing to value your parents dysfunctional marriage, you were still worse than him. At least he was honest and didn't pretend. Before you could regret your text message, the twisting of your doorknob breaks you from your thoughts. The redhead enters without knocking, even bolder than you.
Before you could speak, he kneels in front of your bed. Hands in his lap, eager and ready to serve.

we’re different but that’s okay || gigantic! shark hybrid! eijiro kirishima x angry! takes-no-shit! human! reader
i’m usually writing a bunch of smut so i decided to write something new for a change. sharky boy kirishima brain rot is on the train and who is there to blame? also, more smut is also on the way somewhere down the line 🥴 anYwhOmS, enjoy the drama!
quirks exist in this au but they’re waaaaay more rare, hybrids are a little more common than quirks!
content warning: swearing, violence, injuries, angst, bullying, ignorance, and to be completely honest I've modeled y/n's personality as a love child of bakudeku where she's angry but soft for certain people, specifically kiri because that's cute, also she/her pronouns are used
word count: 1.6k
next chapter masterpost
“My mama said that hybrids are just fancy pets and pets shouldn’t be learnin’! Whaddaryou doin’ here den, Shark boy?” An obnoxious country boy asked, jabbing his little finger into the chest of the innocent shark hybrid. “Must be learnin’ how to be a good shark! Sharks are bad if they’re not taught right,” another voice piped up, laughing along with the group that had surrounded the poor shark hybrid who had began to sniffle and hold back his tears.
This happened a lot. He should have been used to it but those words always hurt him. And fighting back wasn’t an option because then he’d get in trouble and he didn’t want to put his mom through that, he’s already had to be transferred a few times because of his father— er, owner.
The little dark haired shark hybrid tried to ignore the sounds of the kids picking on him, calling him names, but that didn’t stop a few tears from rolling down his face. They always picked on him during recess when the teachers weren’t looking. As long as no one got hurt they didn’t care, they never did.
“What are you weirdos doing? Leave him alone!” An angry voice said from nearby and then little Kirishima felt a presence standing in front of him, blocking him from the group that sneered down at him and pointed fingers. He looked up briefly and noticed that somewhat familiar tuff of hair, surprised to see that it was the new kid who had just started that day.
“Ew, why are you stickin’ up for him, Y/N? He’s gonna bite cha if you keep your back to him! He needs a muzzle on his fa-“ The kid’s words was cut off with the sound of a punch and then a few gasps from the other kids, accompanied with the sound of the punched kid’s whaling.
Eyes widening in surprise, the lil’ shark hybrid stared at your back, gawking in surprise at your actions, unable to say anything. You then turned and looked at him with your hands on your hips, a big grin on your face with a few teeth missing as you proudly announced, “Don’t chu worry, Eijirou! I’ll protect ya from now on, and we can be best friends!”
“Y-N L-N!!!” A teacher shouted from nearby, you stood up straight and then looked to the voice before flashing another smile Eijirou’s way, “If any of those dumb dumbs mess with you again you can just tell me, ‘kay? Buh-bye!”
The memory always brought a smile to his face. It been two decades since then but he can still remember it so vividly. You’d kept your word ever since then and the two of you had been inseparable ever since. You both had went through life together side by side, dealing with hardships and struggles to the best of your abilities.
However, the life of a hybrid in a mostly human society always had its drawbacks. And being the kind of hybrid he was you could expect nothing less.
Eijiro Kirishima. Red spikey hair, sharp pointy teeth, standing at roughly 213 centimeters or nearly seven feet tall, and to top it off he was a Great White Shark hybrid, a top predator. Tall and muscular. A feared water animal that was given a bad name because of some whimsical humans that couldn’t stop themselves from exploring where they shouldn’t have been.
Not only was he pre-disposed to the stereotypes and stupidity of society when it came to dealing with hybrids, he also had to deal with the stares and frightened shuffles people did when they wanted to distance themselves away from him on the street. It was a constant reminder that he wasn’t normal, wasn’t accepted. It hurt but he kept his smile, he had to, he needed to, he had to be strong for himself and for his friends, for his family… for you.
“I’m just here to pick up my partner, sir. I don’t want any trouble,” Eijirou said to the security guard while raising his hands up in a surrendering motion, trying to make himself seem like less of a threat, “Her name’s Y/N and she works on the sixth floor. I always come and pick her u-“
“Listen, buddy. I don’t care if your girlfriend is the CEO of the company, I can’t let you in if you’re not an employee and have no proper form of ID,” the man basically growled, glaring at the hybrid with malice and disgust in his voice, “So, leave. Wait for her somewhere else.”
Crack.
Stiffening, the redhead’s shoulders had tensed and his fists clenched, trying to stop his growing anger. Stay calm, Kiri. Stay calm. Shitheads like this guy are on every corner, you need to relax. Don’t make a scene.
Stiffening, the redhead’s shoulders had tensed and his fists clenched, trying to stop his growing anger. Stay calm, Kiri. Stay calm. Shitheads like this guy are on every corner, you need to relax. Don’t make a scene.
“If you heard what I said then you need to leave,” the man spat, his voice only growing harsher, “Or are you hard of hearing, toothy bastard?”
Crack.
Parting his lips to speak, he’s cut off by the sound an elevator nearby and then a familiar scent that immediately calms him down.
“Eiji! What the hell’s taking you so long? You always pick me up!” You said to him like you’d been offended, waltzing towards him quite quickly, going to grab his hand and frown at him.
“M’sorry, lil’ gem. This guy was givin’ me a tough time,” he muttered in his defense, using his free hand to rub the back of his neck. You look mildly confused at his words and then your eyes flicker over to the security guard who’s watching the two of you from behind the front desk.
“Oi, are you new here? Where’s Mojo Jojo?” You question, confused by the new face as you squint, “I already don’t like the vibe you’re putting off.”
The guard sputters over his words and then finally manages to say something coherent, “I am new here. And you should learn how to keep your damn hybrid on a leash. Giant pets like this big oaf shouldn’t just be allowed to wander around without supervision, he could bite someone. What if he’s got rabies?”
Eijiro immediately straightens up, used to the harsh words but he knows what’s about to go down especially from the way you’re suddenly gripping onto his hand.
“Listen here you stupid ugly rent-a-cop son of a bitch, you’re lucky you’re behind that motherfucking desk or I would have kicked your dick in so far that you’d end up with a fucking VAGINA,” you barked at him and were about to lunge over the desk but was easily stopped by your beloved boyfriend who began tugging you away towards the exit of the building. That didn’t stop you from glaring over your shoulder at the man, mouthing despicable words to him that could surely make anyone’s skin crawl.
Once outside of the building, Eijiro continued to tug you along to where the public parking garage was across the street.
“Why didn’t let me kick his ass, Eiji? He fucking deserved it! Idiots like that deserve to get their balls ripped off so that they don’t produce anymore close-minded spawn,” you angrily ramble but don’t pull away from his tugging, following behind him as you attempted to keep up with his pace, “And slow down a little, don’t forget that you’re at least a two heads taller than me.”
Quickly mumbling an apology, he slowed his pace down so that the both of you could walk at the same speed before he replied, “I don’t want you loosin’ your job ‘cause of me. Plus, that guy’s not worth it. Thank you for stickin’ up f’me though. You never fail to do that.” He laughed sheepishly at the thought of your fierce state that never seemed to back down from a fight, “But, sometimes, you can’t always throw fists first and ask questions later. We’ve gotta work on controlling your temper.”
“What?!” You couldn’t believe your ears, stopping in your tracks to stand and stare at him which made him stop as well but he didn’t turn to look at you. “Do you even hear yourself? C’mon, Eiji! You can’t just let people walk all over you like that! You’re a human being too! You need to stick up for yours-“
“Just stop it, Y/N. Stop it,” he said, his voice raising ever so slightly with a bit of a crack at the end of his sentence, “I don’t care what other people say, okay?! Yeah, it hurts but what the hell am I supposed to do about it? Become the monster they already think I am? Hit people and call them names like you do?! I’m not like you! I can’t do that! I’m not a full person, okay?! Do you know what they’d do ta’me if I did what you did? Euthanize me! Kill me! Or worse, they’d take me away from you and lock me up in some fucking facility for dangerous animals.” He rips his hand away from you after that and then clenches his fist before making a sound of frustration, “You should head home. I’m gonna— take a walk.” Before you can reply or even fully process his words, you’re met with Eijiro’s retreating back, your heart beginning to throb in the worse way possible.

This ask is a little personal but where I live everyone and their mother does drugs or know someone who does, can I get a y/n that no one from their home town believes in them because their "just gonna end up another junkie", and the mha boys and girls have to prove them wrong and tell them that they will succeed (also Mr Aizawa too but we're a student of his and he's a concerned adult)
Thank you love 💖
Babe please take good care of yourself I believe in you! Be sure to never get dragged into that path because nothing good comes out of it.

Boring.. so boring, same as usual.
Another day at school, but what's the point, Really? If it was up to you, you would be at home sleeping.
You've always felt out of place in this school. You're just a stupid good for nothing loser who happens to have a strong enough quirk that made every hero school in the country fight to recruit you.
You know what the future holds for you, and you've already accepted your fate.
Seriously, what good can come of someone living in the slums and surrounded by junkies?
You've never related to any of your classmates. You can see that each and every one of them has a happy loving family. All but you.
They're good to you, but you just wanted to be left alone.
You find them irritating sometimes. Treating you like a charity case must make them feel so good about themselves.
You snorted loudly as the idea crossed your mind.
But apparently you did it too loudly because everyone in class turned their heads your way, including your teacher who looked even more annoyed than he usually does.
_ "Y/n, see me after classe." Damn it! That must mean you're in trouble.
The rest of the day went by exhaustingly slow, and you were especially annoyed because of the pending scolding you were expecting from your teacher.
You heaved a sigh before dragging your feet to his office and knocking on the door.
_ "Come in " He responded curtly and you did as asked.
You stopped dead in your tracks as soon as you got in. Your teacher wasn't the only one in the office, your classmates were there as well, but why?
_ "Have a seat." Mr Aizawa instructed and so you did.
They were all looking at you with smiles on their faces. They were probably trying to be friendly but in all honesty it made you feel awkward.
_ "Let's cut to the chase, your friends are worried about you." Your teacher stated, still guarding his bored expression.
_ "Why would they be?" You crossed your arms and leaned back into your seat.
_ "Y/n you have great potential but you're purposely wasting everything away by acting like a delinquent." This time was Eijiro's turn to speak, but you kept quiet.
So this is what they're doing? An intervention. Why can't they leave you be?
_ "You're powerful and stupid and I can't believe someone like you gets to have such a cool quirk." Bakugo spat out staring daggers into you.
_ "Hey Kacchan! Stop it, you promised to be calm."
_ "Get away from me you shitty nerd! I didn't even wanna be here in the first place!"
_ "Please calm down, this is not the right time to be fighting." Ochaco tried as best as she could to shut them up.
It was getting chaotic and you were getting impatient. You gritted your teeth and tapped your foot to stop yourself from lashing out.
Your teacher noticed your restlessness and wiped out his binding cloth using it to shut their mouths.
_ "I donno why I let you join this meeting. If you're gonna act like brats then you better leave before I lose my cool."
They all tensed up and remained quiet while Aizawa turned his attention to you.
_ "Listen y/n, we all know how you feel. You think that you don't belong here, you must've grown up hearing from everyone that your fate is already sealed and that no matter what you do, you'll only end up being a junkie like everyone around you. It can be too much for a kid but these brats really care about you so why don't you open up to them a little?"
Do they really care? Aren't they thinking of you as a charity case like you've always thought? What if it's true, what if they truly cared?
The idea warmed your heart, but you were still skeptical.
No one actually bothered with you before, so the thought of someone worrying about you seemed unbelievable.
You didn't respond, you couldn't think of anything to say so you kept quiet.
_ "Please believe us y/n we really love you, and we only want what's best for you." Momo walked up to you and held your hand as she spoke.
But why? What's in it for them? Is it normal for someone to go this far for another person and expect nothing in return?
_ "I want to go home." You stood up and snatched your hand from the girl in front of you leaving her wide eyed.
Your discomfort grew by the second and you couldn't stay there any longer.
Your life was fine the way it was, and you've already made your peace with being yet another disappointment, so what were they exactly trying to do? Why was it important to them whether you do good or not? Unless..
_ "If you're worried about the school's reputation than I'll just quit, you don't have to go out of your way to do this." Yeah, that must be why they're doing it. It all made sense at that moment.
You turned around to leave but were stopped by your teacher's intimidating voice.
_ "Did I say you could go?"
_ "Y/n please listen to us, we understand how you feel we really.." Ochaco tried reasoning with you but you you lashed out at the poor girl.
_ "What do you understand exactly?! Did anyone of you grow up in a neighborhood where drugs were passed around like candy? Was anyone of you raised hearing that they amount to nothing and that no matter what they do they'll just end up like everyone else around them? Then you understand nothing!" When did your tears start falling? You weren't even mad anymore, you were just miserable.
_ "You're right, we don't understand how you feel exactly and we probably never will, but that doesn't mean we don't care." Izuku approached you cautiously, he didn't want you to have another fit.
_ "You don't have to follow their expectations! I bet none of them even considered the possibility of you joining a hero school, but look at you now, You're in UA for God's sake!" Kaminari beamed from the other side of the office.
Should you believe them? Is it safe to do so? Isn't it better to always expect the worst? It sure worked perfectly so far, saved you a lot of disappointments.
_ "You're smart but you're purposely messing up during exams, it's a shame because you're capable of so much more." Iida, your class rep, was uncharacteristically calm when he spoke to you.
Should you give them a chance? Or more like, give yourself a chance.
_ "Listen y/n I'm willing to work with you one on one until you catch up with the rest of the class but you'll need to make an effort, I don't like wasting my time." And you could actually feel a hint of concern in your teacher's tired voice.
_ "Don't worry sir we'll make sure if it!" Sero screamed gaining everyone's attention.
They seemed genuine, so maybe there is actually more than one type of people in this world, maybe it's not unusual for someone to care about another, maybe you've been seeing the world from the wrong angle. In all honesty you've always wanted to have a better future than what's expected of you, you just never thought you had the right to dream about it, but maybe now is your chance to do better.
_ "I want to do better." There you said it, whispered it to be exact, but they heard you.
Your tears streamed down your face again but this time it wasn't out of frustration or despair, it was out of pure hope and warmth.
_ "Come on y/n please don't cry, you're gonna make us cry too!" Mina ran to where you stood and hugged you tightly, and this time you didn't flinch or yell, this time you hugged her back and allowed your tears to fall down freely.
You felt another warm body engulfing you from behind and you turned around to find Ochaco weeping as she held you.
You've always thought about leaving school ever since you stepped foot in it, you heard people around you saying it was useless for you to try. And for the longest time you actually believed them thinking that you had no other option.
But these people, your friends.. they opened your eyes to greater possibilities.

Them With a Foreign S/o || Midoriya, Bakugou, Kirishima, Todoroki, and Kaminari
Masterlist
Pairings: Izuku Midoriya x foreign!Reader, Katsuki Bakugou x foreign!Reader, Eijiro Kirishima x foreign!reader, Shoto Todoroki x foreign!reader, and Denki Kaminari x foreign!reader
Requested by Anonymous: hello! could i request some headcanons with the boys wherein their s/o's a foreigner? like, they have trouble speaking japanese and all. thank you and i hope you have a lovely day! <33
Word Count: 1.4k
Notes: Everything in italics is spoken in Japanese, h/c=home country
A/n: Hi! Thanks for requesting! I hope I wrote this well. Sorry that Kiri’s is sort of short, I couldn’t think of anything else for him. Hope you enjoy these- Danielle <3
Izuku Midoriya:
Izuku thinks it’s really cool that you are foreign
He’ll ask you a lot of questions about your home country, and be really patient with you as you try to explain it in Japanese
He does seem to notice that you have a bit of a hard time expressing yourself or showing your real personality while your talking in Japanese, just because you don’t know the right words to say
So, he starts learning your native language, so it’s easier for the two of you to talk to each other and get to know each other better
He revealed to you that he was learning your native language, and after that, you two tutored each other in each other’s language
Once you could finally be yourself around Izuku, the two of you got along pretty well and you two ended up with crushes on each other
You two got together, because you overheard him talking to one of his friends about how he had a crush on you and didn’t know what to do about it
“You should ask me out.”
“I already-” He paused when he realized that the voice did not come from his friend, and instead from behind him, and then he realized it was your voice and his face turned beet red
Anyways, you ended up confessing your feelings for him as well and you two got together
He always asks questions about where you’re originally from and he has a whole page in his notebook about your favorite things to do at home, and fun facts about your hometown
Since you haven’t had a whole ton of Japanese foods, or done activities that were common in Japan, he likes taking you on dates specifically to do things exclusive to Japan
If there’s a certain snack you like from your country that isn’t available in Japan, and you tell Izuku, he’ll order it online for you, and have it shipped to you, so you can still have it
Katsuki Bakugou:
At first, he thought you were really stupid
How were you supposed to become a hero when you can’t even understand half the shit that your classmates are saying?
But over time, he found himself liking your personality
He liked your determination to become a hero, even if you were having trouble understanding your classmates
I feel like Bakugou speaks multiple languages, so he would be able to talk to you in your first language
The two of you actually became friends, because he got sick of you messing up your Japanese
You were saying something to Mina, who was waiting patiently while you tried to figure out how to explain it in Japanese
Bakugou was listening in and the second he heard you mess up a word, he went, “God, it’s not that fucking hard.”
“Bakugou! Don’t be mean to them. They’re trying,” Mina said, scolding the ash blonde
“Do you want to teach me?” You question, sarcastically of course, switching back to your native language, since you knew Bakugou knew it
“If it’ll keep you from speaking in that shitty Japanese then yeah.”
And that’s how your relationship with Bakugou began
Every Wednesday and Friday night, you would go over to his dorm and he would practice Japanese with you for a few hours. He was kind of mean about it, and scolded you when you messed up, but you were quickly learning Japanese
Over time, you two ended up getting pretty close and became friends, and eventually he confessed his feelings for you and you two started dating
You two now talked in Japanese most of the time, but you would still unconsciously switch back to your native language, since it was what you were used to
If you’re ever homesick, Bakugou will make you some kind of food that is from your country and he knows that you like, and then he’ll watch a movie from your country with you
Eijiro Kirishima:
Kirishima is actually the first friend you make at U.A.
I know I say that in a lot of my different headcanon posts, but come on, he’s way too nice and accepting to not be your first friend
Whenever you guys first met, he was so patient while you tried speaking Japanese
He offers to teach you Japanese, but he low key sucks at teaching stuff, so after he realizing he’s not really helping, he finds an app for you to download on your phone that can help you learn more (if you don’t already have one)
Once your pretty fluent in Japanese, the two of you get along even better now that you’re able to communicate better
Eventually he confesses his feelings for you and the two of you get together
He likes when you tell stories about things that have happened to you in your old country, or crazy things that have happened in your hometown
He’ll commonly look up recipes from your country, and try to make them with you
Shoto Todoroki:
When Shoto found out that you were foreign, he really didn’t care all that much
You were just another student in his class, why should he be more curious about you than he would anybody else?
At least that’s what he thought, up until Aizawa paired you two up for a project
Shoto had a tendency to correct your Japanese whenever you two were talking, not realizing that it may hurt your feelings or embarrass you
He only realized this when he was working on the project with you in the library, and Midoriya was right next to the two of you and he kept hearing Shoto correct you
So Izuku pulled him off to the side and told him to stop correcting you, because it’s probably embarrassing you
After that, Shoto felt sort of bad, but he felt it would be more awkward if he apologized, so he didn’t
While you two worked on the project, Shoto got to know you and ended up developing a little crush on you
He talked to Midoriya about this, and he told Shoto that he should ask you out
He wasn’t sure how he should do it, so he asked Midoriya again, and he suggested that Shoto should learn how to ask you out in your native language and then ask you out like that
Shoto did it and it worked
He helped you learn Japanese better, and your relationship was going great
He doesn’t really pay any special attention to the fact that you’re from a different country, he only really remembers it when you two are going out to eat and you ask about what a certain food is and if it’s good or not
Denki Kaminari:
Denki got so excited when he found out that there was going to be a foreign student coming to U.A.
The second he saw you, he immediately was attracted to you and wanted to ask you out
So, the second you sat down in your new class before class started, he was up immediately and flirting with you
But since you didn’t know very much Japanese, you had no idea what he was saying, so you just sort of brushed it off
Denki got kind of upset about it, and just left you alone, since it was obvious that you didn’t like him
He only realized that you didn’t understand him when he was telling his friends about it later, and they told him that you probably didn’t know much Japanese
You ended up looking up half the things he said to you after school that day, and blushed when you realized he was complimenting you
The next day you walked up to him in class and apologized for brushing him off, before explaining the situation, which he already knew
You two ended up getting along pretty well
Before you two got to know each other, he just found you attractive because of your looks, but now he found you attractive because of your looks and personality
Eventually, he admits his feelings for you, and you return them, so you two start dating
For some reason, he loves to flex that you’re from a different country
Like if anybody says that you’re a cute couple, he’ll be like “Yeah, I know. They’re from h/c.”

♡ ྀ she’s not afraid of scary movies, she likes the way we kiss in the dark.

( ↳ no one else could ever carry the burden that Izuku holds in his hands. But when a girl from his past helps bring him to a realization, he begins to contemplate on whether or not sacrificing everything that you love to become a hero is worth it all.)
➸ Katsuki Bakugo
Cuddle Buddy! (Social Media AU)
Katsuki’s Convenience (Social Media AU)
Fics ↝
♡ ྀ thank god for plot twists like you.
( ↳ Katsuki barges in your dorm room after class to see you crying in your bed with your phone in your hand… but why exactly?)
♡ ྀ the s in studying stands for sexy times (implied smut!)

♡ ྀ my world is changed and it’s cradled by the comfort that is you.
( ↳ After receiving a quarterly report on the status of your hero internships and as a 3rd year student of UA Academy, your day is ruined as soon as you began to read it’s contents. Your explosive boyfriend does not want to see you like this. But how can he possibly cheer you up?)

♡ ྀ fix you. (studio ghibli au! princess mononoke au!)
( ↳ Katsuki Bakugo is the righteous yet arrogant village prince of the east. The entire village relies on him for protection and for guidance, further inflating his ego. however, after a cursed boar attacks him and the curse is passed on to him as a poisonous mark on his arm, slowly consuming him until he becomes a demon himself. he is exiled without hesitance from his village and is to go on a journey to look for a cure, a journey he might never come back from. With the help of two of his most trusted allies, he embarks on a journey to look for the gods of the forest in where he meets a girl (just as striking as him) who brings him back down to earth, saves him and make him experience a true life worth living.)
♡ ྀ 25 lives (time traveler au!)
( ↳ After losing the love of his life in a brutal villain incident, Katsuki Bakugo had lost a part of him. Nothing and no one could ever bring her back. He became the shell of a person he once was; fiery, bright, and the driven #2 Pro-hero in the country. He continues to live life with guilt, all hope still lost until he is gifted a time device that can transport him to parallel universes, dimensions and alternate worlds, where he begins his quest to find his lost love. Crossing a hundred of realities and living twenty-five lifetimes just to bring her back into his arms. )
♡ ྀ to the most explosive boy i’ve ever loved before
( ↳ six letters. one for every boy you’ve ever loved. The letters for your eyes only, filled with all the words you could never say. until, one day, they start appearing out of nowhere into your life again, and your love life goes from imaginary to out of control.)
♡ ྀ lovesick girl
( ↳ your planned birthday surprise for katsuki takes a turn for the worst when you’re suddenly struck by a cold, prompting your dynamite boyfriend to take care of you and shower you with love and affection on his special day.)
♡ ྀ nicotine and faded dreams (smut!)
( ↳ Fame. Success. Glory. Bakugo’s had and seen it all, being a part of one of the biggest bands in the world. All he’s ever wanted was (Y/N), who comes back into his life just in time for the last leg of the band’s European tour. Bakugo thought that after making it big he wouldn’t have to face the muse for their most successful song any time soon. But a trip to Venice organized by scheming band mates has him stuck in a car with that very same muse. or Rock bands, a love Bakugo’s been trying to run away from and a cleverly schemed road trip: what could go wrong?)

♡ ྀ merry go round of life (studio ghibli au, howl’s moving castle au)
( ↳ shoto todoroki is a magical prince who yearns for freedom. with the entire country against him, and the freedom he ever so wanted barely in his grasp- he seeks solace in a girl who works in a hat shop. she was his comfort in days full of disaster and war. and ever since then, he has finally found a reason to live.)
♡ ྀ something in the rain
( ↳ you and shoto were once childhood best friends and sweethearts who had lost touch and communication. 12 years has passed since then, and on a fated summer day in june, there was something in the rain that brought two lost souls back to each other’s arms.)

'Ey, Willow? What'd you think our boys would think/do if we were getting uncomfy around an ex who was trying to get us back? 👀 Bakugo going feral? Kirishima being amazingly hot being protective? Shoto? Midoriya? Like 😫
Honestly, I've had a scenario in my head forever about one of my exes meeting Kiribaku.
So my first ex fucked me up pretty bad for a long time. We remained friends because honestly I think I just trauma bonded to him after everything we went through together on my exchange (he's Czech I'm American so there were also culture misunderstandings)
I feel like we'd meet up with him if Katsuki and Eijiro came with me to visit Czech because it's absolutely beautiful and I love visiting when I can.
Both boys would have very different reactions to this situation.
Katsuki is incredibly annoyed that I'm still even letting him in my life after the awful shit he'd say and do:
"your personality is a 6 but your body is a 10 sooo."
"I mean, if you pissed me off enough I'd probably cheat on you."
"Well, I've done "xyz" so maybe you should actually return the favor instead of being lazy" (sexual stuff always felt like an IOU)
Not to mention the body shaming, shaming me for not being sexually experienced or ready enough. All the time he pushed me away and isolated me when I needed him. Katsuki remembers holding me after watching the All Too Well short film together when I told him the fight scene was just like my relationship with my ex.
"He dropped my hand all the time, and hated when I would try to hug and kiss him in public... Like he was embarrassed of me."
To say Katsuki hates this mf would be an understatement. He's seething when we get off the plane to meet him after customs. It's not jealousy he feels when I run up and give my ex a hug, it's pure disgust.
Eijiro takes a more diplomatic approach having had his fair share of shitty friends and exes. He understands the complexity of interpersonal relationships and tries to give my ex a chance.
He's a gentleman, but he keeps an ear out for anything and I mean ANYTHING that would be hurtful coming from my ex. He doesn't like him, but he's happy to try to be polite and give me time with an old friend.
The tide shifts when we're in a pub drinking some beer together while ex and I are reminiscing on old times. Katsuki's chugging beer after beer because the sound of my ex's voice makes him wanna strangle him. Eijiro keeps a grip on Kat's waist as we chat.
"You know, I wish you'd been into this when we were together."
"What?" I'd laugh, feeling the affects of the beer.
"I mean, you told me you didn't wanna have a threesome, but here you are with these two. Maybe it would have worked out if you'd been less uptight."
I'd fall silent as I look over at Eijiro and Katsuki.
"She was 17," Katsuki finally speaks up, "Did you know what you wanted at 17?"
"Uh, yeah?" My ex would laugh, "I mean, come on, I'm sure you've asked her to get another girl involved."
"We haven't," Eijiro interjects, holding Kat by the chest before he jumps across the table, "We're happy with just the three of us and we don't see Willow's sexuality as a thing for us to use for whatever fantasy you think we have in our heads."
"You also made my sexuality into a joke," I comment side eyeing my ex.
"What are you talking about? No I didn't."
"You literally told your brother that you "turned" a lesbian. Do you know how biphobic and lesbiphobic that is?"
"Come on, you know that was funny-"
"Well she's not laughing is she?" Katsuki chimes in again, "so why don't you lay off. It's no wonder she never felt safe with you. She was young and in a whole new country just trying to get by and you treated her like some sort of sex object-"
"Unsafe? What the fuck are you talking about?"
Eijiro chimes in, patting Kat harshly on the back, "Look man, what my partner is trying to say is she was very young and the environment she was in didn't exactly feel safe for explorations like that."
My ex would lean back in his chair and look at me, "What did I do to make you feel 'unsafe' exactly?"
"Do you really wanna do this right now?" I ask, starting to get more annoyed.
"I'm just trying to understand how me, being there for you and listening to you constantly being in crisis-"
"Because I quite literally was. You only gave me affection when sex was on the table. If not you weren't interested so I forced myself to try and you just never cared."
I would start getting emotional at this point, all the feelings from that time coming back.
"You make it sound like I raped you," my ex would roll his eyes while Katsuki balls his fists, "You said yes to everything we did and I always told you know when you were drinking. What else do you expect me to say?"
"Is not that simple! And I don't except anything, I just don't wanna talk about this. I wanted a nice night but you had to bring that up."
"I was making a joke about-"
My ex and I would go back and forth fighting for a while while Eijiro and Katsuki watched. They'd never seen me so frustrated as I tried to explain something while continuing to get gaslit and manipulated, but one sentence would finally make Katsuki snap.
"You just have to play the victim don't you? You're just arguing about this because your boyfriends are here and they need to think you're a damsel in distress for them to save-"
Katsuki would lose his cool, grabbing my ex by the back of the neck to go outside. Eijiro and I would chase after him, but by the time we'd get outside, Kat tossed my ex out the door and was stomping out to scream.
"You- are the most insufferable," blasts could be heard from his palms as he descended upon the man laying on the ground, "manipulative, gaslighting little rat faced bastard I've ever fucking met!!"
"Bakubro, wait!"
"Look blasty-mc-splode, it's not my fault I got to her first. I know you're just jealous."
"JEALOUS?!" Katsuki would yell, Eijiro trying to hold him back, "Who would be jealous of an insecure, insufferable little bitch like you?"
"Katsuki that's enough," Eijiro would try to calm him down.
"No, I'm sick and tired of you thinking you can just get away with how you treated her! She trusted you! After everything she went through, all she wanted was to feel loved. To feel like someone cared and BELIEVED her. You know what happened, you saw the signs of trauma. You're literally studying to be a fucking Neuro psychologist and yet you did NOTHING but gaslight her and withhold affection unless it was the kind YOU wanted! Then you turn it around like she was the problem?!"
"Katsuki," I'd call to him from the side lines.
"It's not like you've even gotten laid since you two broke up. Who are you to say what she should have been?"
After getting that last jab in, he would finally pause for a moment when I walk up to him.
"Katsuki, it's okay," I'd whisper hand on his cheek, "let's just go."
He looks down at me, eyes softening as he'd pull me into a kiss, purposely holding me extra tight in front of my ex.
When I'd pull away and whisper to Eijiro to get the bill I'd turn to my ex.
"Thanks for calling off your attack dogs I guess-"
I'd land a punch square to his nose making him cry out.
"Insult my husbands like that ever again and you'll get a lot worse than that."
"What the-"
"Every bit of what Kat said was true. I needed a partner. Someone who listened and truly cared... Not just someone who wanted me for my body."
"That's not-"
"That's. how. I. felt... And my feelings that you hate so much are what makes me a compassionate and intuitive hero."
My ex would pause for a long time, just looking at me.
"You've changed... So much-"
"Yeah. Maybe you should have too," I'd say before hearing katsuki calling for me, "here," I'd hand him the month to pay for all the food and drinks and then some, "Now we're even."
I'd walk away feelings sad, but also finally like I'd gotten closure.
Eijiro would go back to talk to my ex for a moment to collect our things from the pub.
"I wanted to give you a chance y'know, but you really hurt her... I hope you learn something from this because otherwise you're just gonna be alone for the rest of your life."
The biggest mic drop of all.
They'd both be so loving and caring after that too. Making sure I'm okay, taking me out for ice cream and more sight seeing. It would be such a good time.
Shoto and Deku would be very similar in that Sho would HATE him and Deku would try to be nice.
But yeah, not my best writing but I think you get the picture. My boys would defend me in their own way💜🧡❤️
NSFW Reaction:
Also me when Kat is yelling at my ex:
He's getting his dick sucked when we get back to the Airbnb. Eijiro too😩
