The Crown Prince Couple attended the 250th anniversary of the founding of Christiansfeld by marked with a big town party. The historic center of the city, which in 2015, appeared on the UNESCO World Heritage List, formed the framework for today's program, which included both festive worship, tour and official lunch. His Excellency Count Ingolf and Countess Sussie of Rosenborg also participated in today's visit.

01.31.2022 🇩🇰 Crown Princess Mary was responsible for the opening of the special exhibition "Mary & the Crown Princesses" at Koldinghus. The exhibition, which paints a portrait of the Crown Princess and her latest four predecessors, was opened on the occasion of the Crown Princess' 50th birthday and was attended by, among others, HRH Crown Prince Frederik and HRH Princess Benedikte. The exhibition opening was officially marked in the Ruinsalen, where Cabinet Secretary and Director of the Royal Collection Henning Fode, Museum Director Thomas Thulstrup, Minister of Culture Ane Halsboe-Jørgensen and Mayor of Kolding Municipality Knud Erik Langhoff spoke. HE Count Ingolf and Countess Sussie of Rosenborg and Minister of Culture Ane Halsboe-Jørgensen, among others, participated in the exhibition opening. In the exhibition, the Crown Princess guides visitors around on a journey of discovery in the history of her predecessors and the Glücksborg dynasty. “Since 1932, the Royal Ship Dannebrog has served as a floating "castle" for the royal family. The 90-year-old ship serves as both the official and private residence for Her Majesty the Queen as the ship takes part in tasks such as water monitoring, sea rescue and training of future officers. Dannebrog thus also functions as a school ship and workplace.

All this forms the basis for the exhibition "Royal Ship Dannebrog" at the Kings' Collection Koldinghus, which was opened today by His Royal Highness the Crown Prince.

As the first official guest at the exhibition, the Crown Prince could experience the museum's ruins' many tires that have been put into play in the exhibition and provide an experience of standing on board the Royal Ship with sailcloth, deck chairs and life wreaths - all together added to the sound of the engine room mixed with the voices of the ship guests and the screams of seagulls.

Present at today's exhibition opening were also His Excellency Count Ingolf and Countess Sussie of Rosenborg.”

Crown Princess Mary officially opened the special exhibition "Mary and the Crown Princesses" on 31 Jan 2022. The exhibition is a part of the celebration of her 50th birthday, with focus on the Crown Princess and her previous four predecessors.

Crown Prince Frederik, Princess Benedikte, Count Ingolf and Countess Sussie of Rosenborg were also in attendance.

Tiaras at the Amalienborg Museum

Two tiaras that belonged to Queen Alexandrine of Denmark are now on permanent display at the Amalienborg Palace Museum in Copenhagen.  Despite being part of the Fabergé Chamber both of these tiara were made by Bolin, another Russian jeweler.  The sapphire tiara was sold by Countesses Josephine, Camilla, and Feodora of Rosenborg in 2018 and mysteriously appeared in 2020 at the museum on loan from an anonymous owner and the fringe is on loan from Count Ingolf and Countess Sussie of Rosenborg. Queen Margrethe II opened the exhibition "A Queen's Jewellery Box - 50 Years on the Throne Told in Jewellery" at the Amalienborg Museum as part of the celebration of the Queen’s Golden Jubilee.

The exhibition features over 200 well-known and less-known jewellery from the Queen's collection, all referring to one or more private or official events during the Queen's 50 years on the throne. The Queen's private jewellery collection contains jewellery that is both inherited, honoured and newly acquired. 

Crown Prince Frederik, Crown Princess Mary, Princess Benedikte as well as Count Ingolf and Countess Sussie of Rosenborg also attended the opening ceremony.

who do you thinks gonna be at the confirmation?

Well, Joachim, Marie, John and Susan not bothering to go just opened a lot of space 🥴 So 25... since the DRF considers it a private event, I doubt we’ll get an official guest list. I’m thinking they’ll go for the closest (family and people special to Christian) for the 25 in the church, and then I think they might pop up an open pavilion outside for the celebration afterwards.

Count Michael Ahlefeldt-Laurvig-Bille (Alexandra’s husband and a friend of M&F (and Vincent’s godfather), if Alexandra is going, I’m pretty sure Michael is too)

Countess Ingrid von Pfeil und Klein-Ellguth (Alexandra’s daughter who also lives in Denmark and have spent a lot of time with Christian growing up)

Outer tier of likeliness but not straight up unlikely (7):

Mette Hansen (Christian and his siblings’ former nanny. They’ve had several nannies, I only know the names of a few of them, but I know they were very close to Mette and I can imagine her getting an invite – probably alongside some of the other people (based in Denmark) who’ve been and still are close to the children)

The children’s chamber assistant (no name man or The Manny™, an aide-de-camp type of person M&F hired last year)

The Handwerk daughters (they’d obviously accompany their parents and they’re also close to both Christian and Bella)

One of QMII’s ladies-in-waiting (my guess would be Annelise Wern who, I believe, is the longest serving of her four LiWs – if she’s going, Benedikte might bring hers as well)

Count Ingolf and Countess Sussie of Rosenborg (listen, I’m grasping at straws here but Ingolf is QMII’s cousin and since so many other people aren’t able to go, maybe they’ve invited them?)

OR, Christian might have invited his friends to go? That would be a neat touch since he won’t be confirmed alongside his classmates like you’d usually be.

I’m sort of on the edge about whether or not they’d invite friends beyond the Handwerks and Michael ALB (who’d go in capacity of Alexandra’s husband). When there’s restricted attendance, it very easily becomes a game of Which Friends Are We Closest To 😬 My gut tells me they’d probably hold off on the friends till the party afterwards but otherwise, this seems to be the closest circle:
