Why in the chorus of sheep bleating about Trump’s rights and Hillary Clinton this and weaponization that, are virtually ALL the dissenting voices… Republicans? Where are the Democrats? Where are the Democrats talking about the grave risk Trump was and is to National Security? Where are the Democrats demanding that he will be president again only over their dead bodies? Where are the Democrats saying no matter how this trial turns out, Trump definitely put American troops at risk for the sake of his ego, and he may have gotten American troops KILLED, and he may STILL get American troops KILLED? Where is the outrage?
Axios reports the Democratic National Committee asked Democrats in the Committee to no-comment the indictment. The PRESIDENT is no-commenting the indictment. The entire hierarchy of the Democratic Party is staying off-stage because of some kind of nonsensical, 1975-notion that to speak out against Trump’s criminality and treachery and treason is to somehow grasp a third rail, that because if you speak up for truth and honesty and Americanism and you are a politician you have somehow POLITICIZED truth and honesty and Americanism. Mr. President, House Democrats, Senate Democrats, we elected you to stand up for the rule of law, against Trump. Proclaim it and exult in it. Your silence will be mistaken for weakness. Kick him when he's down - and sing the anthem while you do it.
From Keith Olbermann’s program notes for the June 12th COUNTDOWN podcast.

This is an American politics/news and sports podcast run by one of the founding team members of MSNBC. This man is not my favorite person, and he can come across as a bit elitist (it’s an act and you see him let the mask down here and there) biased toward the far left, and hyperbolic, but in this episode he gives you a timeline of the Russian collusion scheme. Please send it to everyone you know. This is important.
The timeline is very good at stitching up all the odd events of the last 7 years. It contains an explanation of Trump as President.

The last word should go to Keith Olbermann when he said 5 years or so at the ruins of the wtc when he said on countdown
"Goodnight. . . From a hole in the ground in midtown
As someone around for 9-11 and the "NEVER FORGET NUMBER #1 GREATEST TRAGEDY EVER IN HISTURY" response to it I am in thrilled and invigorated by the fact that younger people just make amogus memes and TikTok nonsense about it. A huge chunk of America cared more about it than any entire genocide and thought you would cry learning about it. They hoped it'd make every generation patriotically angry forever and ever and want to join the military. Instead you Photoshop the towers into squidwards house and shit. Never stop lol

Last night, 10/27/24, Trump had the most racist, nazi friendly rally ever at MSG in NY. He figured if he had his "guests" speak the racism for him, he'd finesse it. He was wrong. Excuse my Puerto Rican self if I vent for a post or three. The first is Keith Olbermann's take on Countdown. Check it out.

Damn, I would listen to ALL THOSE ahhahahaha They sound super fun!
For podcast recommendations: I listen to a LOT of PT-BR podcasts too, honestly. I also LOVE LOVE LOVE the documental miniseries podcasts. I'll just recommend the En-US podcasts, tell you why. If you do understand Brazilian Portuguese and want more recs, please drop a private message <3
Countdown with Keith Olbermann: I just LOVE him getting angrier with age and giving less and less fucks. Dude is also a GREAT WRITER and has a lot of interesting insults ('Dunning-Kruger effect specimens' is one of my ever favorites). Beware: dude is 65, so... Well, as much as he tries to be a good person, sometimes he gets off the rails, so be prepared.
The Six Billion Dollar Gold Scam: One of those stories you just can't believe it. Just... I don't know, it's shocking and funny and crazy. Just give it a try, it's small.
Factually with Adam Conover: I've loved Adam since Adam Ruins Everything. He's funny, he's smart and he's dedicated to smashing the common sense, what's not to love? He is also a fun interviewer and very very curious, so the interviews are really nice.
Past my Bedtime: This is a miniseries, and it's more of a fictional narrative investigative podcast with interviews. It's FUNNY AS FUCK, and as the story developed I had laughing seizures. It ends in an explosion of surreal comedy and it is worth every second.
WTF with Marc Maron: I'm always shocked at how Marc Maron leads interviews to deep and beautiful places. I don't listen to it always, but I often go to the page and pick the interviews that interest me bc they are super good.
If you like podcasts, try British radio shows! You WILL find something you like, I'm pretty sure! hahahaha I ended up listening to a lot of British radio shows when I got into podcasts and I really think it's a great experience!
