there’s times where cathy grows annoyed with jamie’s constant work ,  her non - stop - ness ,  but then her eyes get that SPARK in them and how can cathy complain?  how can she do anything but sit back and watch as her brilliant girlfriend writes  &  rants to herself?  ( yes ,  she’s insane ,  but look what she can do. )  she interrupts one of such rants with a little LAUGH ,  arm placed on jamie’s shoulder  –––––––  is it selfish to want to drag her away from her work for just a moment?  possibly.  so she’s selfish ,  so be it.        ❝  yeah ,  i KNOW  –––––  but your dinner’s getting cold ,  if you wanna stop being relentless for five minutes and eat something other than DORITOS.  ❞       she says it deadpan ,  but leans down to place a kiss on jamie’s cheek right after the words finish ,  hoping it’s enough.
