what everyone is doing in stones of seasons a fun little break-down (because i keep thinking about it)

shadow (in the winter zone):

- at first it's just mostly unpleasant. shadow (as a hedgehog) should very much be hibernating in the winter so he's very tired the whole time (omega is a bit slower because the cold is making his joints work less, and rouge is both a bit skittish and a bit sleepy because. bats can either hibernate or migrate and she's not any specific type of bat so. i guess. she's got an option. either way, team dark is not that great in winter)

- things get worse though when he picks up the fifth of the winter amethysts, the reaper amethyst. the winter powers haven't been going great but the reaper amethyst carries something that shadow isn't prepared for. the power of death. so, while he carries it's power with him, he cannot touch anything without fear of killing it.

- this ends up coming to a head when he accidentally kills sonic (don't worry, this time he has the blossoming diamond he can't really die right now). believing that he can do nothing but harm those around him, he decides to shut himself off in the woods so that he can't hurt anyone ever again.

- eventually sonic + the rest of team dark coax him out, finding the primaveral amethyst and showing shadow that he is more than destruction and death.

sonic (in the spring zone):

- mostly he just has fun in the spring zone with tails + knuckles, the flowers are blooming and he feels most awake in the spring usually so he's going great!

- until of course, he gets to the winter zone after some adventuring. of course he's pretty tuckered out because. winter (knux + tails too, both foxes and echidnas hibernate, though knuckles starts absentmindedly trying to dig out somewhere to hibernate and tails becomes really really hungry)

- he dies briefly but that's mostly just an excuse to say a quick hello to vega

- mostly he's fine though. pretty uninteresting on his behalf i suppose but also we don't need four heavy plots here

silver and mephiles i guess (summer zone)-

- silver mostly starts off having fun, though he has is own concerns that he couldn't possibly be here if something wasn't going wrong. with him are blaze and mephiles (because well. blaze has her own hidden reasons and mephiles is under house arrest and silver is making him fix up the future by like. helping out with the gardening and stuff)

- blaze has with her the warp topaz (since it was not destroyed in the blast apparently, so it ended up in her dimension just like sonic did) and plans to get it to sonic asap. meanwhile, silver is working on learning about the summer rubies and y'know. worrying about killing things with fire and stuff.

- mephiles soon gets plans though. while he is growing closer to blaze and silver (but also totally he isn't because he hates them and. he's going through the redemption motions) he still has ambitions. when he hears of the warp topaz, he plans to get his hands on it

- one night, while having fun and goofing around, silver reveals that the bands around his wrists are meant to keep him calibrated in time. mephiles then ends up getting them off (i am not decided on the how okay he'll figure something out) and turns around to blaze, telling her that if she doesn't want the same thing to happen to her she'll give him the warp topaz.

- the next time we see them, everyone is facing off against mephiles in warp form. there's a fun fight because obviously and at it's end, mephiles ends up warping silver back, putting the bands back on him and giving up the power of the topaz. he apologizes and idk that gets mostly into the ending which i am getting around to planning

amy (autumn zone)-

- ?? depends on when this happens. get back to me on this in the morning
