Slowly but surely the next chapter of CWA is coming along. I usually don't post more than one tidbit for a chapter buttttt. Here's another one.

I forgor to post about it when I beat Kallamar 2 weeks ago but him and Shamura are down, both on the first try! Toon in next week to hear me Gamer Rage when Narinder kicks my shit in.

Fuck it ima put it out anyway.

COTL AU where instead of staying in the cult Narinder leaves and builds his own little plot of land that becomes a rare occurrence you find while crusading through the different biomes post game.

Like it starts off when the lamb like spares Narinder and he’s like sent to the cult. And is in such a state of shock and bewilderment of what just happened that he doesn’t really know that the lamb is setting up their wedding until he’s at the alter. And he just SNAPS. To trade one prison for another? And to be stuck with the same being that not only took your crown, but your title as the god of death as your jailer? No thank you. Proceeds to walk out while the service is still going.

(I’m not the kind of person to think that he would be murdering or plotting to kill the lamb at every turn or possibly. No I would think that Narinder is smart enough to realize that he cannot fight the lamb in the condition that he is reduced to.)

Anyway, I want Narinder to experience life post-godhood by himself outside the cult. Maybe progressing over time you see how his plot of land develops into a pretty nice home for himself complete with a garden and an actual building/house. Not a hut, but an actual house.

All the while the lamb is going through it. It’s normal game play like one would post Narinder fight. Lore, upgrades, reviving the bishops, mystic seller, etc. All the while experiencing the highs and lows of ascension. I think the lamb would ask the other bishops once they get indoctrinated of how they went through their ascensions went. Only they would tell them that each went through theirs differently, so in the end it wasn’t really helpful.

So going through a process that you have no idea how to get through and the only person who does has fuck off into the land and hates your guts. Really fucking sucks man. So they try to “catch” Narinder while out crusading. Only they don’t find him physically, they find his place of residence while he is away.

I thought of a way to incorporate the quests that Narinder gives you when he is usually established in the cult. Could still be used: like there’s a book left on a table where you could peak in and see what’s going on with the cat that is currently away from his house.

“ I should head to Darkwoods and see if I can find more materials to build that fence and make more paper. Moving materials from one abandon home stead to this place has been challenging enough. My arms hurt after years of being bound to one position for so long...I wonder if camellias still bloom there now that Leshy is gone? If not I’ll have to develop a new alternative for this persistent strain and sharp pains I keep having. Got to get these walls up before it starts raining.”

“Bah! There’s not enough food at the last abandoned settlement let alone seeds. It’ll take long of a walk all the way to smuggler’s cove just to see if that sea louse got any thing. And it hasn’t been that long since the depletion of fish at pilgrim’s passage. I would have just stuck to what vegetables and berries I’ve got growing, but some animal or heratic keeps getting into my garden and stealing my food!when I find the person or thing that is stealing from me I’m going to make them into my fertilizer. In the meantime I should look into Anura and see if those foul mushrooms are still there. If I remember they are just as foul as Hecket when she would screamed about being hungry during dinner…Those should hold me over until I get this unwanted pest under control.”

“The wind and rain coming in through the holes on the side of the house that I use to see if any heretics come to kill me, has gotten too much. I’m tired of having to clean up the puddles of water that enters the home. And the curtains don’t do much in terms of trying to block both of these elements.That stupid squid Kallamar doesn’t need his crystals now that he’s gone. It didn’t help him when trying to hide from me. I’ll go to Anchordeep tomorrow and get some to make crystal windows. They sure would make it more beautiful than their temple…”

“Finally the loom is ready. It’s been a such a long time since I had decent robes. It’s easy to find cotton, but what I really want is a nice, soft, silk robe. One that doesn’t rub against these scars preferably. I miss the old one Shamura they made with their silk. But, that one got destroyed in the fight with that damn vessel. Maybe there is some in Silk Cradle. ”

My computer’s in the shop getting looked at so I can’t do any digital art, so I’m finally getting to work on my cult of the lamb dnd au.

Most of what I’ve got so far under the cut

Once a week in the temple (end of the day) because ratu’s house is too small, Aym Baal and the Yellow Cat sometimes show up and join in.

Lambs orders to followers(they don’t know it’s just dnd) don’t disturb unless it’s an emergency.

Ratu: the necromancer rose a force of 15 zombies to delay your approach giving her a chance to escape

Narinder and the Lamb: various noises

Everyone but narinder and the lamb knows about the whole narilamb situation

Lamb seeing the party do something that might get them all executed: war flashbacks + sees the irony

Kalimar is the reluctant healer(secretly likes it but will complain for the sake of it)

Lamb isn’t allowed to use the crown as dice anymore

Nari - bishop relationship is definitely better but still a work in progress

Lamb has shown up late covered in blood

Dice:

Narinder: bone

Shamura: steel

Lamb: broken horn or glass

Ratu: has a collection

Aym and Baal: gifted from mother (high quality)

Yellow Cat: wood (gifted from leshy (carved by hand and tooth))

Leshy has good luck with dice

Lamb and leshy scheming is always a cause for concern

Yellow cat bard

Leshy gives ratu advice on descriptions and descriptive language

Aym and Baal can do voices really really well

I think that'll be the name

Senso(戦争) in japanese mean "war" so it also can be call as war of the lamb

It' an AU setting on japan with mixed northeast asian culture that start aroud Heian till Meji period

This au also have full of politics stuff so you can skip if it disturbing

The Land of Old Faith

a beautiful kingdom that got curse by the god

The map is replace in japan world map with a little bit of change

It's also have a Feudal system like

Tenno(emperor got worship like a god)

Shogun(hereditary commander)

Daimyo(feudal leader)

merchant and others

And all of them devide into two side

Ok a lot of wondering let's go to lore and art time

People who support the shogun side and destroy every single one on their ways

most people ship the lamb with narringer, so it's refreshing to see a new take and i am HERE for the new death god kissing the starvation deity.

Im definitely not into COTL like I used to be, still an interest of mine but y'know Hollow Knight owns my heart and soul

anyway, yeah I know a lot of people like NariLamb which is fine lol, it's a cute ship

The 'lamb' you saw in my doodles was actually my Persona in a full dragon form!

my persona is half elf half dragon normally so I just, removed the elf part for the sake of everyone in COTL being an animal

and as for them with Heket... Yeah my friends can tell you that every new day I go around screaming "WHERE'S MY WIFE"

Hi there so could you some COTL headcanons of the Bishop follower au of Kallamar getting used to life in the cult with the help of Cult member reader (Platonic)

(Sorry if it fells exactly like the Hecket ask, I just want to know what would it be like to Kallamar)

Oh no it's okay! I very much love Kallamar so here's the cult life for him!

Out of all the bishops, Kall would be highly submissive to the Red Crown (it’s canon that he’s most scared of it and he legit begged the Lamb to spare him).

When he first arrived into the cult, Lamb couldn't talk to him without the risk of him bursting into tears (and reasonably so--they just had a vicious fight not too long ago).

Thus, they sent you to help him adjust to his new life. You were able to persuade many nonbelievers and dissenters to join, so there was hope for the cowardly ex-bishop.

"Hi there, I'm [y/n]. You must be Kallamar, yes?"

"R-Right..."

“I’ll help you get situated here, okay? Let’s set up your shelter.”

He barely speaks and responds with meek nods, still rather timid around you and everyone else. 

But as the days pass he slowly adjusts, though as his only current friend he tends to cling to you a lot.

You show him your favorite spot in Pilgrim Passage to fish, and even go into Anchordeep to bring back the crystals from his temple.

You know the risks, but it's worth seeing Kall's smile as he arranges them inside his shelter. They're comforts to him.

Whenever somebody gets sick, he panics and immediately apologizes to them, but you reassure him they just had bad food. He lost his ability to inflict plagues, so it’s not his fault at all.

If he sees any of his lackies (Saleos, Haborym, Baalzebub) he'll be nervously sweating bc he didn't exactly treat them kindly and forced them to turn into monsters. But they forgive him and treat each other like equals.

You had to give Kall the push to talk to them more.

It's clear your leader put the fear of god the Red Crown in this guy, though maybe a little tooooo much as he swears to never dissent or get upset with them.

You promise him it’s okay. They are merciful. Surely, he wouldn’t have been spared if they didn’t think he deserved a second chance.
