Another Costa Rica picture dump 🇨🇷 we're much further away from Arenal volcano now. Went to a national park yesterday for a hike and ended up finding two wild eyelash vipers, spider monkeys, and a tree boa.

We went into a big city called La Fortuna for dinner and shopping yesterday afternoon. There were huge iguanas just chilling everywhere in town lol, it was cool to see.

Did a morning hike around the resort this morning and saw a ton of frogs, a golden orb weaver, and so many little anolis and geckos.

Every evening at this resort we've been hanging out at the swim up bar. The pool's heated so it feels like sitting in a hot tub. It's so nice, I love it here 😌

We're here!!! Yesterday was so long, the car ride to the resort after the air port ended up taking over 4 hours because of traffic 🥲 so in total we were travelling for 15 hours yesterday.. rough

First row of pics was the drinks and dinner we got once we got to the resort! I got a squid ink risotto with seafood. The drink was tequila and passion fruit.

Second row of pics was today's breakfast. I've missed Costa Rican breakfasts so much. Fried plantains are my favourite! Plus that third pic is a big haul of snacks and drinks we got from the grocery store down the street. So many cool things to try.

The rest of the pics are from this morning's hike around the resort trails. Lots of cool bugs and mushrooms 😊

Plans for this afternoon are to walk into a nearby town, shop, and get lunch. Back to the resort for happy hour 🍹 then tonight at 8:30 we have a 10 course tasting menu at a restaurant in the tree tops!!!

Our last day in Costa Rica 😭 I'm so sad to leave, but I'm also really looking forward to finally getting home and seeing my cats. 12 days is such a long time to be away from home.

Pictures from last night's jungle night hike 🐸 saw lots of red eye tree frogs, cool bugs, and my first time seeing one of my absolute favourite species of spider in the wild!!! An ogre faced net casting spider!! They make little nets instead of big webs, and use them to catch prey! They're so fascinating 🕷️
