I brought this unused Loki concept to life!!

I’d been eyeing this stunning design by @aleksibriclot for years, and a little while ago (after two years of working on it) I finally finished it! It has all the dark norse fantasy vibes that I wanted Ragnarok to be, and I figured hey, I can make it myself!

I had to up a lot of my leatherworking skills for this one, and I dove into a lot of new skills as well to try to make all the pieces a cohesive whole. It uses lambskin leather, suede cowhide, and veg tan, as well as an entire sheepskin for the cape!

This whole costume has truly been a labour of Loki love and I’m so glad I was able to share all the madness (process) and the finished look!

COLLAR IS DONE AAHHHH, so I had to do a side by side with the game model!

Almost 50 hours of actual embroidery, plus roughly another 10 for the border stitching details, all done by hand. Whew! But look at it, I’m so damn proud!

I hadn’t initially planned on lining this, but now I think I will for a more finished feel. So that’s next, then sewing up the sleeves/sides, and then it’s back to embroidery hell for the hem xD And in the meantime, I need to get back to the stitching details on the trousers, because I can only do a little of that at a time before my hands start screaming at me.

Camilla could fight with pretty much anything, and especially knives – she wouldn’t do the marble trick with her knife because she would just say, “What did it do to me?”

preliminary New Rho (Nona the Ninth) Cam WIP outfit test, before jacket/colored contacts/MORE KNIVES/makeup/fine-tuning some details and other accessories. also debating darkening the wig.

but excited to start to see an idea of the finish line!

It’s about time I did an Astarion wrap-up video!

This was an incredibly fun, dive-all-in project, many thanks to @sennedjem talking me into cosplaying Astarion in the first place. I love the drow armour sets—I’m a sucker for intricate layers—and I wanted the challenge of doing this all from real leather. 🙌

This is technically the Faded Drow Armour, but at some point this year I want to upgrade with the asymmetrical pauldrons to make it the Studded version. I may also do some details on the pants and bootcovers, which I didn’t quite get to in the initial crafting months.
