Their panic began to morph and change shape. In one instant, it felt like they had died several deaths, and in the next, several lives, none their own, washed over them. They were alone now, but there was more than just nothing. Anticipation pooled in a low fog, filling the gaps between the stillness of one second and the next. The taste of a brewing storm clouded around them. A bright and brilliant explosion ricocheted, the cacophonous kaleidoscope of life flowing forth. They were wading through a pool of stars, stardust raining down on them, stardust being kicked up beneath them. With each step they felt lighter, their feet seconds away from leaving the ground. They could feel the silent heartbeat of the universe, beating in time to their own. They gradually slowed in tandem as a new star took its first breath. A deep yearning to join them overtook them. Time had been pulled into a whirlpool, twisting round and round until the beginning met the end and the end had no beginning. Nothing was happening anymore and trees were withering as they grew; reptiles shed and snakes grew; the seas reached up to the sky and stars flowed down; everything that could ever happen was breaking out at the same instant.

I genuinely think, all things considered, Star Wars Episode 8 is weaker than Episode 9.

9 at least Tried to be Interesting, Palpatine still being alive is an idea that Could have worked, Rey being a Palpatine Could have worked, the Death Star Dagger could have worked (better if it was the first death star wreckage, to give an idea that he had a back up plan once the first went down).

All I think that would have needed to change in 8 to make 9 a better (not great, just Better than it is) movie is swapping the first order's main ship for one of Palpatine's Death Star Destroyers to say that "Hey, these exist, and they got them from some mysterious benefactor", have Snoke say something about "and so, the old emperor's plans continue to come to fruition" to even put Palpatine back Into the series, have a one off moment where an old imperial comm line pings from an untraceable source, maybe make Snoke decay as "this body becomes undone" because he's a clone pumped full of dark side juice and have him reappear later "the dark side of the force is a pathway to many abilities some deem, unnatural". Maybe give Palpatine some sort of Anti-Force Ghost, something.

It wouldn't be a perfect fix, nor make 9 a Great movie, but it would at least temper some of the Bad caused by the different directors all moving against each other. At least then it'd largely just be disappointing, not quite Disasterous.

And just, throw away the whole force tele-snatch thing. I can deal with Rey pulling force lightning out of her ass, but that force teleporting small objects half way across the galaxy thing is just, so dumb.

i need a hualian modern au that really emphasizes how autism4autism they are.

like I see lots of fanart of modern!XL in a white sweater but what if that's his favorite sweater that he wears every single day except when he needs to wash it because it has no tags and all the seams have been worn down and softened. And when it gets damaged HC is the one who comforts XL and carefully takes it to repair it so it looks just the same as before.

What if HC wears lots of dangling jewelry and constantly stims with it, chewing on his necklaces, shaking his head to make his earrings jingle, swaying back and forth to feel his wallet chains swish with him. Same with wearing flowy clothes, I think he would wear maxi skirts and just idly swish them back and forth.

And of course they infodump to each other. They would have whole "nap dates" where they would cuddle up in bed together and lay in each other's arms just to chat about whatever subject has caught their interest recently.

There's def more to this idea but that's all I got for now.

EARTHSPARK SPOILERS

Hi so I noticed some silly things

I'll just cut right to the chase. 1. Soundwave never transformed throughout this entirety of the new episodes, despite other fliers doing so. 2. Twitch looks as though she's going to have permanent optic damage. 3. Where the hell is Tarantulas?????

First: Soundwave my beloved little guy Skywarp and Novastorm transformed when they couldn't keep up with Starscream when they were escaping GHOST. Soundwave did not, and got trapped. In episode 25, when Starscream's trine are in the air fighting Megatron, Soundwave is riding with the grounders-- despite being a flier himself. Why is he not transforming? Did someone take his T-Cog? is it damaged? Because there was some heavy emphasis on that (transforming, T-Cogs) for the past season.... Please Earthspark give us more Soundwave development. What happened to him?? Why is he not transforming???? Second: Twitch After the blast from Mandroid's (failed as far as we know) weapon, and she is healed, her previously destroyed optic is noticeably dimmer from then on in the following scenes. I think she has permanent optic/vision damage, which will be interesting to see in the next episodes (please let there be more). This also makes me think that the writers also did something to Soundwave if they're doing such a major permanent(?) thing to a main character.

Third: Please where is he Where is Tarantulas? What happened to him?? You cannot convince me that Nightshade wasn't making those holoprojectors for him. Please where is Tarantulas?? We need the skrungly back

So was anyone going to tell me the Kurzgesagt video on amino acid language was going to lead to me finding out they completely mapped the human genome, or was I just going to find that out today when the brain fox said "Proteins as Words? Sounds like the 3d writing we've been looking for forever, let's make this analogy a reality with the power of me!"

Like. Speaking human takes 20 core letters, but proteins are long as hell so you wouldn't want that as a direct Alphabet. But you could, in theory, analogize Amino Acids and Genetics as Language, a stupid complicated one, but one with rules and structure communicating cool genetic things. The One True Meat Language.

The letters are defined, they're the amino acids, afterwards there's the phonotactics, which are the rules for how words are formed, which you can stare at enough proteins and eventually figure something out for. Phonotactics just determines what's gibberish and what's plausible language. Then you look at the known functions of those proteins and make a definition out of them, and bam, now you're making a lexicon. Then there's grammar, which DNA, and from there, bam. Cool Meatlang, translate your friends!

20k different proteins in the human body? I'm brain fox enough to try for at least a week!

During the Binghe in abyss time cumplane make a sex pollen pact where if either of them get into a fuck or die scenario the other has to bail them out.

This leads to a lot of arguments/bullying during the most mechanical, perfunctory sex.

If Binghe ever finds out when he gets back he might have some things to say about this arrangement.
