Some people have been wondering where my codename comes from- but for that I'll have to tell you about Princess Comet, the greatest show of all time! (Don't quote me on that.)

The original manga, Kometto-san, was a magical girl shōjo manga- one of the first ever!- that ran in the Margaret magazine in 1967.

Later, it was adapted into a live-action TV drama called Princess Comet, and was broadcast in Mexico, Venezuela, Costa Rica, and other Spanish-speaking countries in both its original Japanese and Spanish dubbed versions during the late 11980s. It was probably more popular there than it was in Japan!

In the Spanish dub (the one I watched when I was young) Princess Comet was known as Señorita Cometa (Miss Comet). Hence my alias! An anime adaptation of the series titled Cosmic Baton Girl Princess Comet (Cosmic Baton Girl Kometto-san) also ran in 2001, but "Cosmic Baton Phantom Thief Comet" doesn’t fit on a calling card.

I saw that there is a new bingo ship chart! So, what do you think about Narumitsu (Phoenix Wright x Miles Edgeworth)? And this one is a little more unknowned but what do you think about Comet x Meteor from Cosmic baton girl comet-san?

Thanks for the ask, Anon! Excitin' ships you're askin' about! I'm gonna be totes honest with it, though - I've not played Ace Attorney, so my Narumitsu answers aren't fleshed out and are totes super vague in terms of what's highlighted. As for Cosmic baton girl comet-san, I ain't ever heard of that show, I'm afraid, so I'm going ENTIRELY based on appearances after lookin' it up!

First up is Narumitsu!

With having not played Ace Attorney and seein' different fandom interpretations, I dunno if I want them to kiss already or remain in this weird little homoerotic never-kissing vaguely-flirting-but-never-being-upfront thing I see with 'em around in fanon! They're a cute ship there, and I can see myself getting more into it if I knew more, but I can also see it goin' the other way too. It's a hard one to answer for! Especially when I know (even prior to playing, thanks to a friend) Ace Attorney's canon isn't as queer-friendly as fanon likes to make it...

Next up, Comet x Meteor from a show I've never seen in my life!

I've only known about them since Anon told me about them but they're so cute and adorable that if anything ever happened to them I would fight everyone in the room and then myself. They've got such a cute aesthetic to them both, and they both seem absolutely adorable? I wanna watch the show now! Thank you for makin' me aware of these adorbs cutesy soft characters, Anon! I love 'em!
