Cloud got me thinking about how much I love bug trolls again. Sure I have Pofeir/Orekel, Lyknie, Lyodae/Cosaid, Yersin/Myasam/Pestis, and Bombus as bugs but you know. Throw in a new cicada as a treat to myself <3

that said with my own ancestor-age trolls: channi and adacic don’t have descendants, their genes are too poor and mutations tainted it

badaui has had a few descendants with vednir, but most of them didn’t make it to adult hood, or would have “counted” as proper descendants. she will meet her only successful heir Sarang eventually, but she also has a doomed legacy as a traitor to the empire anyway. 

hieran paid about six caverns off to find his descendant chyron, and waited quite a while for him. he had even culled two others that didn’t “fit the bill” to his standards of what he wanted his charge to be. chyron had a lot of resources pooled into him. only to be expected for fuchsias though 

esplin has sefalo, and only knows about her because of his god. sefalo knows esplin was killed in a pirate raid and doesn’t know much else.

anttan was extremely successful in life, but movie stars dont need their descendants to follow, so knowing vemili is moot- esp when Vem’s more successful than he is.

cosaid was demoted and scorned before he could put aside his money to start looking for his own descendant, lyodae. cosaid isn’t in any documents for lyodae to find publicly. 

orekel and abadycis have pofeir which Yikes TM 

vednir ALSO has a huge bloodline with strong genetics, with their tale tell sign being colorblind. unfortunately as jades, most of them got culled when they were old enough for the other jades to know they weren’t useful in the caverns. those who did succeed only did so outside of the caverns save for Akitri. There’s probably five in their line living now that qualify as proper descendants for Vednir. Blooddrinkers tend to see their spawn more often. 

Charge/Smiler/Rewind’s bloodline the Phelins is another successful line, bred for their strong psionics. most are carted away to ships though. their line breeds 3 every generation. 

kinsra’s ancestor, Troxid would have had the money and resources to find Kinsra and train him, but Troxid got murdered about two hundred sweeps before Kinsra was even hatched. Rip. 

Myasam with the Mascue line used magic to keep tabs on his boys, and despite being Dead he’s very much so present with Yersin and Pestis. 

Klervo and Osamim were lowbloods and didn’t matter. 

then there’s Pyriti who’s ancestor Rutaci is barely even “ancestor age” he just fucks a lot and has good genes so he has like 20 current living trolls in his bloodline.
