The song in the chart is Hibana (Spark) by DE//CO*27, and I mainly imagine this song for their relationship during Daily Life Arc, mostly in Hibari's POV. Besides that, I do have a Kana POV song that's also by DE//CO*27, which parallels Hibana, and it's Ghost Rule. I'm one of those believers who think these two songs actually communicate with each other, one from each person in the relationship.

We actually even considered this song when thinking of the ship name for them, just look at Sou and I's chat around the time when its abt to be New Year 2022 at the ungodly hour of 12-1AM hahahaha (we're finalizing ship names for both hibari/kana and tsuna/kurumi here btw)

Back then, it was only to reference the song title itself. But turns out, their relationship also fits oddly so perfectly with the lyrics. I shit you not when I say I can do a dissection of the lyrics on how it fit them sdjfbhsdfsf

The Dialogue in the Balloons - Yeah...💀

PDA, Jealousy, Clingy - There's definitely little to no PDA and if there is, it's probably subconscious. But as mentioned before, they're both very private people. Same with jealousy and clinginess. Though, it's still something I'm investigating 🫡🫡🫡 so far I'm observing little to none from these crazy animals.

Who was the First Kiss - Sorry bruh, I also legit do not 100% know yet. What would be more interesting? lmao They're very elusive and are always bonking each other when I stalk them inside my brain hahahaha we'll get there when we get there!

Slow Burn - It's usually painful, but it's very fun for them! Sometimes, I feel like it's also a good amount of my brain coping for the BL ships that I have in shou/nen series that are written in a super slowburn way or have insane "its in the subtext" dynamics but will actually never end up together. I find those types of pairings in itself charming too, I go into those ships already assuming that it will sink but I still have fun.

Together Forever (?) - I can't fully choose this because they aren't even ""together"" you know???? 🤣🤣🤣 but they kinda still are in a way???

Insane AU Potential - I've always had fun putting them in a few AUs before, but I only fully realized their insane potential for AUs when Dee told me about it and my brain is like 🤯🤯🤯 The main story is still being worked on right now, but we're going to AU territory in the future too!

Whats a wip you want to finish but don't think you ever will? Mercy Be is dead until I have a Supernatural and Hungergames Renaissance at the same time.

What are your writing strengths? I think I really know how to make time flow. I know how to create a Vibe. An Energy. I know how to build a character.

What are your writing weaknesses? Continuity. If I didn't have to make this make sense it would be so much easier.

What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages? LOVE it! Unfortunately Im scared of looking stupid to people who speak those languages.

What's a fandom/Ship you haven't written for but want to? I would love to write some DC fics. It took me about a year in the marauders fandom to start writing for them, I assume it'll take me about the same for DC. Probably write a silly little camping one-shot...it'll become something maybe

What's your favourite fic you've ever written? My lowest ever kudo'd one actually. Ghosts Of Us, Mary centric, Marylene and Marylily. background prongsfoot, wolfstar and Jegulus (trust me it makes sense). I want to go back to her. Flesh her out even more. Make her 100k one day.

I try to, but oftentimes, I just get busy and don't get the chance. I treasure each and every one.

Oh god. It doesn't exist anymore, but I wrote an Alias fic in my teens that had a main character death. It was probably awful.

Lol, I'm such a sucker for fluff nowadays that they all have happy ending.

8. Do you get hate on fics?

No, not really. I get some comments that are like "I wish this had happened instead" or something but I don't really see those as hate.

I've only just started branching out into writing smut with my bucktommy fics. I think I'm getting better at it.

I've never written a crossover, but it might be fun to try one day.

When I wrote for House, a bunch of us wrote these little...well, we called them chain fics. But we'd each write a small paragraph or a few sentences and then the next person would pick it up. That's probably the closest I've ever gotten to writing a fic with someone.

Oooh, I think it has to be bucktommy. Like, getting to see a gorgeous queer couple becoming canon on my actual tv screen? amazing.

15. What's a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

I started a magical au that I'm stuck on. It's sort of new for me and I'm not sure when/if I'll go back to it.

16. What are your writing strengths?

I think I'm really good at banter and dialogue.

Writing smut, for sure. I've been branching out to practice, I guess.

I only know English, I don't really feel comfortable using translators or anything. I wouldn't want to misrepresent a language I don't actually know.

13. Have you ever co-written a fic before? The soapghost Punisher AU I'm working on with @kibagib - You're my mask, you're my cover, my shelter - is basically co-written. Kiba gives me the outline for what they want to happen in the scene, and I write it out, adding my own flare here and there. It's been so much fun to work together to bring Kiba's visions to life!

14. What’s your all time favorite ship? As much as I love soapghost, I think sheith will always have my heart.

15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will? So far, I've finished or am actively working on all my WIPs... 😯 I do have an idea for a soapghost inter-dimensional-travel, angst-with-a-bittersweet ending fic, but that one hasn't gotten past outline phase. That's the closest I have to a fic I might never finish. (This fic would also win "angstiest ending," btw.)

16. What are your writing strengths? I think I write dialogue and emotions/introspection pretty well.

17. What are your writing weaknesses? I struggle with descriptions - they are often what I "add in" during the editing phases. I'm also a VERY SLOW writer, which is why it takes so long to update sometimes.

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic? I don't do it unless I have a native speaker willing to help me with the translation. Otherwise, it's just English but in italics. LOL

Now I have a few new things to read that I somehow missed the first time around as well as a bunch of old favorites to go and re-read. So much good fic is out there by so many talented writers!

In the spirit of adding to folk’s ever growing MFL list I’ll just pile onto the bandwagon with my answers as well.

 1.  How many works to you have on AO3?

56 although there are several collections of snippets that technically could be counted separately. On AO3 I'm KtwoNtwo.

2.  What’s your total AO3 word count?

3.  What fandoms do you write for?

Primarily Sherlock Holmes (most all iterations from ACD to Sherlock) and James Bond.  However, I dabble in a good number of other fandoms upon occasion.

5.  Do you respond to comments?

Yes, even if its just a “I’m glad you liked it.”  The only ones I don’t respond to are the generic solicitations to join some random contest or fic publishing website.  Those get blocked and reported.

6.  What’s the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

Well, I don’t really write major angst but The Four Riders has got a bit as does the poem Gun in the Drawer though they both end on a hopeful note.

7.  What’s the Fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

Most of my fics have happy endings but probably A Toast to the Science of Deduction resolves the happiest of the lot.

8.  Do you get hate on fics.

Nope.  Only got one anonymous troll alleging trademark infringement due to a title.  I fired back a factual rebuttal: basically "there is no book by that name by that author, there is no lawyer by that name, you didn’t provide contact information and btw trademark doesn’t work the way you allege" then added a set of quotation marks to the title.  Never heard anything more about it.

9.  Do you write smut?

I have but I’m not terribly good at it.  Most of the time the characters look at me then politely, or not so politely, shut the bedroom door in my face.

10.  Do you write crossovers?

Oh God Yes!  Technically I think I write fusions, where both fandoms end up in the same universe, as opposed to crossovers but I’m rather unclear on the difference between same so I tend to just call 'em crossovers and leave it at that. 

11.  Have you ever had a fic stolen?

Not that I could find or prove.  I did have a couple of strange search results pop up with my use name and some fic titles attached but the websites all seem to be defunct now.

12.  Have you ever had a fic translated?

Not to my knowledge.

13.  Have you ever co-written a fic before?

No.

14.  What’s your favorite ship?

Sherlock Holmes/John Watson

15.  What’s the WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

There’s a fic based on a song by Abney Park that I’ve got an outline for but it never seems to go anywhere.

I can merge and/or crossover all sorts of different fandoms. 

17.  What are your writing weaknesses?

Typos and punctuation.  Being slightly dyslexic I can’t spot the former and I never know if I’m using commas correctly or not.

18.  Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?

I actively avoid doing so because I’d butcher it badly.

19.  First fandom you wrote for?

Emperor’s Edge by Lindsay Buroker.  I will admit that I wrote in my head, but never got around to put on paper, a number of Star Trek stories when I was significantly younger.

20.  Favorite fic you’ve ever written?

I like all of them for different reasons.  The one I’m most proud of however is The Emerald Falls my Study in Emerald inspired ACD Fic.

I'd love to have some of the artists/podcasters respond to this with whatever modifications are necessary to fit the medium involved. Hours of podcast or number of artworks as opposed to number of words for example. @podfixx @bluebellofbakerstreet if you haven't responded to this thing already and I just missed it.

17. what are your writing weaknesses? Including sensory descriptions in my scenes, chapter transitions, and smut.

18. thoughts on dialogue in another language? I don't do it simply because I feel it takes the reader out of the immersion, and if if is done too frequently I feel it can be cumbersome. But I try to include the original Old English place names, and some of the words they would have used for things.

That ain't happening Thursday

So, last week I posted "That ain't happening Thursday" on Friday. I thought it was Thursday. Time is an illusion, (to me).

This wip is inspired by the song Gladiator by Jann! It's a strip club-ish Au with Danny being the performer among other things and Tim has to find him! This wip also ruined my Spotify wrapped and it wasn't even gladiator! it's Brain Dead for the ship btw!

Anyways, Fic's name is "Body's more than just a flesh, you can sell it for success" hope you like this bit of it!

The music was loud enough to rattle his bones and he could barely breathe with how crowded it was tonight. This is the third night this week Tim was here undercover. He just hopes that it’ll be the last. 

The strip club was a semi-popular one called Miss Fortune's Table. It always has a decent crowd but he had seen nothing like this. All seats were filled and people had started to fill any space they could fit into. He was glad to get there before the rush and snag one of the best seats in the house. 

Tim is at a two person table in front of center stage. He unfortunately had another person filling the space across from him. The guy was built like a tank and was blond. He was pretty sure that it was dicks co-worker from the GPD but he won’t know for sure until the man speaks. Either way he has to be more careful than before. Time to follow his motto in life, fake it 'til you make it, like always. 

He was looking at the female dancer with faked interest as she finished her routine. The crowd had been rowdy with anticipation all night. He wasn’t really paying them, or the stripers really, any attention. No, he was waiting for the recognition spell sitting uselessly in his pocket to trigger. It hasn’t done anything since he was given it by Zatanna. He is really doubting how good the Information was that the JLD got. After all, why would a psychopomp work out of a strip club and not some candle shop or at a cemetery. 

His train of thought was derailed by a sudden increase of noise from the crowd around him. A new dancer was announced, one that he hadn’t heard the name of before but the rest of the club clearly had. It seems that it was Saturn’s Gladiator who brought everyone here tonight, well almost everyone.

[WIP Kwami OC sheet - Tarii] Except for the Kwami Bird design, the holder's costume and power is not yet official. Btw for anyone wondering I used Marinette to demonstrate the costume when she uses this Miraculous.

*Name: Tarii - from the bird's family name: Sagittariidae. According to Wiki, Secretary Bird is also the only kind of bird that belongs to this family branch) *Animal: Secretary Bird *Concept: Resolution / Resolute Attitude

*Miraculous Accessory:

Camouflage Mode: A signing pen (or any other kind of pen depending on the holders' time, age, hobby, major, and more, such as a pencil, ballpoint pen, mechanical pen, ink pen, feather pen, etc.)

Full charged/ Transformation form: SB Feather Pen - When the holder is transformed, their cos will be hunter-like, and the feather pen could be used for decoration purposes on many parts of the cos or simply used to keep the hair in place like a Chinese hair brooch. (I am still playing around with the ideas)

*Holders' Weapon: A Bow (Its scientific name - Sagittarius means Archer, soooo.. That's why xD)

*Holders' Ability: Shooting light arrows - Unlimited Ammo - Normal attack: 1 shot at a time - AOE - Special attack: 3 shots at a time - Teenage ver can only use this special atk once; it takes a long time to charge and requires staying still; only adults can use this many times and can move but slowly while using it.

*Miraculous Power: Enlighten - Blind the enemies temporarily (by arrows' bright light) - Stun the enemies by making them lost in their own positive thoughts encouraged by the power (that everything has its own solution) - Bonus on Ally: Enhance their will (For e.g: When their lives are at stake and they are about to give up(?)) -> This power can boost their will to keep going no matter the physical and mental conditions. What’s the fic you’ve written with the angstiest ending?

Hrm; I tend to do a lot of bittersweet endings. We'll keep it simple and say "Never Gets Easier", a fic where Edmont and Charlemend talk about their lost sons. There's no sweetness there, just men haunted by mistakes and losses.

What’s the fic you’ve written with the happiest ending?

Maybe "When Everything Changes" which is kid fic from the POV of my WoL's older brother when she's born and his ambivalence turns to big brother joy and love.

Occasionally. Usually pretty vanilla. It's all right, I guess.

Had an OC's backstory on our WoW RP server's fic blogging site lifted wholesale; they changed the names and class, and then…walked into our weekly guild meeting that I was leading and tried to join our guild. When confronted, the person claimed their partner had leveled the character for them and based the backstory on Skyrim (my OC's story is very specific to WoW). They tried to message me later as if we were pals who would laugh this off someday. I informed them that was not a thing and btw the site mods knew they were a plagiarist now. Also everyone knew who their alts were and a bunch of other trouble they'd caused. So far as I know, they bailed from our server after that.

I hoped they learned better and grew up quite a bit; this was well over a decade ago.

Have you ever had a fic translated?

Once or twice now; so long as folks credit and link back to my originals, and share the translated link with me, it's all good!

Have you ever co-written a fic before?

Roleplay and actual story collaboration both. It's a lot of fun.

Impatience, and certain grammatical abuses that do nothing for length nor clarity.

What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic?

Depends on the fic. Depends on the intended audience.

For dialects, mostly the concern is "don't overdo it" as it can slow things down, be really jarring at best and offensive at worst, and difficult to understand if laying it on too thick.

Other languages entirely have different guidelines though, from sprinkling in single words or short phrases, to entire passages, and whether or not you translate or leave it up to the reader. Depends on fandom, on the characters, on the story, author intentions.

What was the first fandom you wrote for?

Narnia, in a my little girl diary as a pre-teen. I wanted to pick up Susan's story as a grown up and bring her and family back to a magical land. Cuz I knew it could, would happen someday, even if Lewis never got to write it himself.

What’s a fandom/ship you haven’t written for yet but want to?

Final Fantasy XVI. Midst. The latter is tricky as I really don't have ideas at the moment, but really want to dig into that vibe. My writing needs to be more weird in general, really.

WIP whenever because I wanna show I'm still alive

I think I'm not really active right now, but I'm still alive.

I just think that my energy for CP is not really present right now. Its been 4 years of 24/7 hype and I think right now I'm just overfilled with it?

My love for Jackie still exists and I will continue my fanfic because I just have too much fun with it. Right now I'm writing chapter 55.

Here is a little piece of Chapter 55 of "Bringing back the sun"

His big, strong arms that hugged her tightly while she sat on his lap were like a weighted blanked she needed right now and his big member inside of her was the distraction she wished for. Today none of them were in the mood for dirty talk and he knew that she probably wouldn’t want to hear sweet praises about how good she feelt. What she needed today was distraction and he would do his best to make it happen. If she was honest, it surprised her how bad she felt. She pushed multiple people through the death of their friend, son, brother, lover, not ever feeling like falling into a pit. She even did the unthinkable till then and slept with Vincent. But right now, the pain was different. She felt sluggish and unmotivated and just wished for an empty mind. “Val, cumming.” He groaned, making sure he would thrust even deeper while he filled her insides. His heavy breathing as his head rested between her breasts made her feel sorry for her lover. The whole day he tried to take her mind off things, to give her a good time. It did work okay, but never had she reached an orgasm today while he had several. “Damn, doll… You’re hard to please today.” His word seemed like a complain, but his eyes told her that he was sorry that he couldn’t give her the release she was looking for. She gave him a soft smile back before kissing his already dry lips. “The only thing that’s really hard today is your dick. How co- Don’t tell me you took something.” He shrugged with flushed cheeks. “Had to make sure to give you a good time for longer than a round. I know you need it…” The ripperdoc might not be the youngest anymore, but he was always proud that he can last three rounds on a good day. He never liked the thought that he had to take something to help his manhood rise or stay long enough, it was a big gesture of his love that he prepared like that.

And on the side (like... really... I have both open) I write on my "Dragon's Dogma 2" fanfic. I'm not sure yet how much it will follow the original story, but I have a few things I want to change up so it will be slightly different.

This is a warning that there are spoiler in the text below. Like I said, its a bit changed up from the original story but I gave you a warning so you can't give me a bad time. ♥

I would love to keep the fancy way of speaking like they do in the game, but sadly english isn't my first language and I would probably get everything wrong. So I will try to keep it in an elegant formal way that I think could come close, orienting on the speech pattern ingame.

The story has no title yet btw so... Here is the start of the Dragon's Dogma 2 fanfic without a name.

It was as if someone had lightened up a candle in a dark room in the middle of the night. As if she had suddenly come into existence out of thin air. Looking around she found out that a man with a larger build was speaking to her in rude manners. Telling her that she had too much of willpower in her eyes and that he didn’t like it. That there was life in her eyes, the opposite of the one her kind should have who are, taken by his words, are “lifeless like that of a corpse.” By the time he had opened the cell, she wasn’t able to recall what her emotions were this moment or how she should feel. There was no fear, there was no happiness, the only thing that filled her mind was confusion and curiosity of what was going on as she followed close behind the man. On their way, he kept talking, but her attention was captured by the tunnel they went through and wondered how it came that they hollowed out this way just to build a prison at the end of it. Was she a prisoner? What had she done? Neither her hands, nor her feet were restrained, perhaps she wasn’t one. Was she a slave? If yes, how long has she been? A sudden realization hit her while stumbling over the uneven, cold ground with bare feet: She didn’t know her name or any other thing about her past. Where should be memories was only a deep, empty void. Her emotion begun to set in the further they followed their path. A mix of fear and uneasiness, wondering what would happen to her should they come to the other side of it. The bright light of the sun blinded her as she made her first steps into the world she seemed to have forgotten about to live in. The warmth of it was like a spell that filled her body with energy and optimism as it was telling her that everything will be okay. Whatever it was that she had to do, she will take it and try to make the best out of it.

I can't wait to get to the point where she meets Jackie. I'm dying to write this scene.

5. Do you respond to comments? Usually yes. I try to. But I've missed some due to irl constraints... they haunt me though.

6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending? Oh this is a difficult question. Maybe Kinslayer in Truth? Yeah, Maedhros dies in that one 😶

7. What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending? Oh easily, Promise of Happiness! It's there in the name. And Loveless too! It's a good warm one with father-son bonding and aroace Fingon.

8. Do you get hate on fics? Nope. The only kind of silent readers writers are happy about are the outraged ones.

9. Do you write smut? Ah I really cannot imagine myself ever writing that. Smut and I are acquaintances and no more. I mean, as a reader I search it up once in a blue moon, but on a regular day, you cannot tempt me into even reading it, much less writing it. It's a skip for me.

10. Do you write crossovers? Again nope. I'm not a fan of crossovers either. I've read some brilliant ones, but I don't see the appeal myself... One canon universe is already too big for me to handle.

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen? I don't write that good for that to happen lmao. (But I once had my poetry stolen. It was a bot copying the site I posted on. I was so mad I got DMCA to hide the links from showing up in searches at least.)

12. Have you ever had a fic translated? Yes! In the other fandom I write for, someone translated my fic into Vietnamese. Very happy for that.

13. Have you ever co-written a fic before? No... my writing habits don't allow a collaboration, it's too sporadic. But I beta read once or twice! It was nice.

14. What's your all time favourite ship? Me/my metaphorical pen. It's an on and off again, tragic ship with misunderstandings and periods of abandonment. It feels like unrequited love at times, but I hope it's not and that they can live hea 🥺. Jokes aside, as a reader, sure, there are many across various fandoms, but as a writer, I do not.

15. What's a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will? This is a sinister question 😭 wdym I doubt I'll finish. I have every hope to finish it someday! The fic is To Learn Thy Song btw. My most ambitious project to date.

16. What are your writing strengths? Oh, one-liners easily. They're different from dialogues to me as they can also be set into narration. I get these singular lines in my mind and I centre whole fics around them. They're strengths as they drive my writing instead of hampering it. That said, I also believe characters and their inter-personal dynamics are a pillar I build my fics on.

17. What are your writing weaknesses? Besides writing itself 😅? Plot. I don't think I've ever written a fic with solid plot. I'm also quite slow with setting up and switching scenes. Mostly, descriptions and fillers are difficult for me.

18. Thoughts on writing dialogues in another language in a fic. I would rather use italics and bolded letters to convey different languages. Most readers, myself included, do not bother reading all those foreign letters, they just look for the translation instead at the bottom. One or two words, though, can enhance the reading experience instead of detracting from it.

19. First fandom you wrote for? Supernatural! Funnily enough, that fic is my most popular one. Though given the size of that fandom, it's not as surprising, but given the quality of my writing then? Very very shocking honestly!
