pretty sure none of the people following this blog are fishkeeping people but like look how cool all of these dudes are. all relatively peaceful and afaik all from roughly the same region/biome so you could keep them all together and it’d be a fairly accurate and peaceable little recreation of nature

Corydoras adolfoi. BURGESS, 1982. Type Locality is from a Small tributary of the upper Rio Negro on the equator near Saão Gabriel da Cachoeira, Brazil. Distribution Brazil: Rio Negro and Rio Uaupes. Amazon, Middle Amazon (Solimoes), Negro, Upper Negro. Show it on a map (Click the map-icon to show/hide map of species distribution) IUCN Red List Status Least Concern pH 5.6 - 7.0 Temperature 20.0-26.0°C or 68-78.8°F (Show others within this range) Other Parameters Slightly soft, black water is preferred. Feeding: Sinking pellets and bloodworm for adults. Dense planting around the edges of the tank, thus providing a large swimming space. Although gravel can be used it is best to use a soft sandy substrate. In its natural habitat, wood snags are common and floating plants with dead leaves and soft sand would be very realistic- please look at photo #10. Compatibility: A perfect citizen. Keep with multiple other C. adolfoi, a small school of 10 being minimal. Being light in colour, this fish looks striking if kept with darker coloured fish. Small South American Characins, such as black neon or black phantom tetras . Large shoals of small mid-water fish will encourage this fish into view. So my adolfoi corydoras disappeared for two months... I rearrange the tank and went searching for them. Couldn't find any remains or anything but they were gone so long I just assumed they were dead. Nope. They are fine, they've grown a lot most are full size now but I have no clue where they hid this whole time or what food they be been eating because I was feeding only enough for the tetras and betta lol
