Coronavirus outbreak has harmed many industries including the renewable energy industry, mainly solar power manufacturing wing. It is expected that there are various other challenges that the solar wing is yet to face due to the same.  It might also lead to the depletion of the raw material supply to support the future of Indian green energy.

Since India still depends on China to get about 80% of the supply of solar cells and modules, the viral outbreak is definitely not going to be easy to handle. Some of the serious issues that the companies will be battling with are supply disruptions, delays in productions, delay in quality check and transport of the components.

Apart from the above-stated problems, it is expected that India will be able to suffice the demands in the native market, but as domestic solar power manufacturers, we think that a prolonged slowdown in the production will definitely cause a shortage of raw materials and affect the community as well. The government should take concrete steps to focus on creating in-house manufacturing of raw materials and also look for better financial solutions.

The outbreak of Covid-19 clearly points at the fact that it is definitely not a great decision to depend or any different country to build up a sustainable energy future for India.

Staying focused on the Premier League title race during the coronavirus pandemic lockdown has been a mental battle despite all individual efforts to maintain physical fitness, Liverpool defender Dejan Lovren has said.

“It hasn’t been easy as we have been locked up in our homes for 46 days now,” the Croatia international told Sportske Novisti. “The psychological aspect is the most difficult to overcome. I work out on my own as much as I can, I kick the ball around a bit with my son on our lawn, but training with the team is totally different.”
