Angel Invocation
Archangel Invocation in time of Pandemic
I call on the inner planes to witness.  I state my purpose as thus.
NAH-KAR YORD HAY VARV HAY

Picture the following images as you speak the words:

I walk through a field of golden corn.
I am warmed by the fire of the sun.
I am cooled my water of the ocean.
I am steady on the firm earth.
I breathe a sweet breeze.
I feel the weight of the earth beneath me.
Ask these questions out loud but do not answer them in any way:
I ask how did I come to be at peace?
I ask, how did I let go of fear?
I ask, how did I learn to manifest my dreams?
(Imagine an orange glow on your left, a purple glow on your right.  Imagine these lights for a few moments and say:)
I call on Thee, Mighty Angel Arzel (ARE-ZELL), who stands in the East, to assist me in this and all my endeavors.

A Grateful Life!
A Grateful Life!
(We have the statue of "Mary: Untier of Knots"/and "Asin", the Lion of Narnia!)
Each day I pray to "Mary: Untier of Knots", asking her to help untie the knots within my life, to Jesus the One who calls me to new life."
2 Timothy 3:14-17
New Living Translation
"14 But you must remain faithful to the things you have been taught. You know they are true, for you know you can trust those who taught you. 15 You have been taught the holy Scriptures from childhood, and they have given you the wisdom to receive the salvation that comes by trusting in Christ Jesus. 16 All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. 17 God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work."
Fr. Henri  Nouwen writes of living in gratitude, and one might ask "How can we live in gratitude? Every day we have death around us, and as I walk the streets and see the pain of homelessness, I have pain and now the long-term effects of the Coronavirus.
We look back and we can divide our lives into good things to be grateful for and bad things to forget. I have found when that in dividing the past in such a manner leaves me limping toward the future.
Fr. Henri says gently: "True spiritual gratitude embraces all of our past, the good as well as the bad events, the joyful as well as the sorrowful moments. From the place where we stand, everything that took place brought us to this place, and we want to remember all of it as a part of God's guidance.  That does not mean all that has happened in the past was good, but it does means that even the bad did not happen outside the loving presence of God..Once all of our past is remembered in gratitude, we are free to be sent into the world to proclaim the good  news to others."
I look back and see my life in the closet,  as a minister, my life as a whore, on the streets, all of which brought me here as a priest. My life good, and bad, has been a blessed life. My life in the injuries has been blessed.
In working with people, I share their life experiences and share with them the love of Asian, "The Lion of Judah", and Christ in The Chronicle of Narnia ( The God who loves them no matter what, and does not judge them). The God who is with them now in their pain, and fears, and always is holding them in his arms.
The photo above is of Asian, the Lion in The Chronicles of Narnia, who represents Jeus, and
He is strong, nurturing, and always there.
The photo was given to me by Tony, who calls himself, "A renaissance man," ( Harlem Renaissance that is). Tony is a young black man, and sees himself as the "personification of African-American culture, an artist, activist, B-Boy, Beatbox, Emcee, Father-Healer, Motivational Speaker, Teacher, poet, Spoken Word Artist, and Vegan." He chooses to live in his van, where he makes art and paints shirts and sweatshirts with the same pictures.  He is a large man, always happy with a loud voice. Tony tells me he gave up on the Church a long time ago, "they preach judgment, hellfire, and tell us how to live in their middle-class ways when all we have to do is love one another". Tony does not want to house until "everyone has housing."  He is getting me blankets, and jackets to give away. Tony is an example of being grateful for his life, he takes it as it comes and is grateful!
As I have let go of the judgment garbage Christianity and embraced the giving non-judgmental love of Jesus, my life has become grateful, and that is what I share with the people I work with. For Asian (Jesus) teaches that we are all precious, so precious in the eyes of the Living God, for in the words of Dorothy Day, "He is disguised under every type of humanity that treads the earth!
And each day as I lift the Bread and Wine, I am reminded that Jesus gave his life, that all might have a life! Be grateful! Deo Gratias! Thanks be to God!
Deo Gratias! Thanks be to God!

An expert panel of the global health body is meeting on Tuesday, October 5, to decide on Bharat Biotech’s Covid-19 vaccine Covaxin getting the Emergency Use Listing (EUL) authorization, according to documents detailing the committee’s agenda for the meeting and the assessment status of pending applications for vaccine candidates. Top health experts say the approval of the vaccine shouldn’t be delayed after reviewing the data this month. India’s indigenously-developed vaccine, Covaxin against Covid-19, has so far not received the much-coveted emergency use approval from the World Health Organization (WHO) but is likely to do so soon.
Till now, the World Health Organization has only included six Covid-19 vaccine candidates in its EUL. These are the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine, the Johnson and Johnson (J&J) vaccine, the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine which is being manufactured as Covishieldby the Serum Institute of India, the Moderna jab and the Sinopharm and Sinovac vaccines.
The Supreme Court Monday said no state shall deny the ex-gratia compensation of Rs 50,000 to the next of kin of the deceased due to Covid-19 solely on the ground that death certificate does not mention the virus as the cause of death. The ex-gratia compensation is to be disbursed within 30 days from the date of submitting the application to the concerned District Disaster Management Authority/District Administration along with the proof of the death of the deceased due to Covid-19 and the cause of death being certified as “Died due to Covid-19”, the apex court said.

The Dazzling Darkness
The Dazzling Darkness!
II Kings: 11:-4;9-18,20
Matthew 6:19-20
One of the most compelling images of our lives comes from St. John of the Cross: the dark night of the soul when the Holy Spirit leads us to the "darkness" of our own limited knowledge and awareness, it is to lead us into a hidden love that cannot be put into words or understood in a kind of logical sense.
The nineteenth-century poet Coventry Patmore, offers this insight: "In the Higher Communion, the night of thought is the light of perception."  Folk singer Arlo Guthrie puts it in more easy words: You can't have the light without a dark to stick it in. His point of darkness whether symbolically or in reality is not always wrong. Our bodies need darkness for a good sleep. So darkness and light are not always the symbols of good and evil.
For a long time now, I too have been experiencing this dark night of the soul, a darkness that is dazzling through over two years of the pandemic holding the hands of those dying of the coronavirus, witnessing a suicide, seeing young guys stabbed and brutalized, my own body beaten and broken, struggling to regain the ability to walk over the past year, and finally hearing very little positive.
Yet it is in this darkness there is an invitation into the cloud of unknowing: that sacred place where we meet God not by the radiance of our minds, but in a dazzling love that cannot be put into words or metaphor.
The two things I am learning in this darkness are found in the words of T.S. Elliot: "Only those who risk going too far can possibly find out how far one can go." Risk is the key to growth and change.
Secondly one of the greatest human spiritual tasks is to embrace all of humanity, to allow our hearts to be a marketplace of humanity, to allow our interior lives to enter into and reflect the pains and joys of people who live everywhere, and have lived before us and will live after us. To embrace and walk with every person around us. Our own lives are a part of the journey of humanity We are simply a fragment of humanity.
It is that dazzling love that enables us to not be afraid to touch the lives of each person, see ourselves in them, and most importantly seeing the broken body of the Cosmic Christ. Deo Gratias! Thanks be to God!
