ok but what if sagau but the creator!reader actually acts like how they expect the creator to act. Like imagine…
You open your eyes, and blink. The brightness of the world being something you hadn’t seen in a long, after who knows how long of your eyes being closed, glued shut, the opening of your eyes again hurt ever so slightly.
You looked around, you stood on a large platform, seemingly in the sky. A star shape with circles surrounding it, was engraved in the ground, and you stood in the center. You stood in a glowing purple goo puddle, it covered the bottom of your shoes, and slowly moved towards you with every passing second. You looked up, now seeing every body before you, all bowed at your feet.
You smiled, pleasantly at them. Your creations.
“You may now stand.” Though not loud, you were heard. Your archons all stood, now looking at your figure in awe. It was you, their grace, their creator. “What has happened while i was away? Teyvat does not look the same…”
Before anyone else, Zhongli spoke. “The land has changed, your grace. You’ve been asleep for eons. There’s been wars and-“ you cut him off.
“War? War over what? What have you to fight over? Have I not given you all of what you want and need?” You look away, looking at the land, the way everything looked, it was so beautiful…
“Your grace, people are power hungry, and greedy, awfully so in fact.” You hummed in acknowledgement, looking at them. By now the glowing goo was gone, and you walked to to the group, standing in front of Venti first. You wrapped your arms around him, your hands finding his back. Your fingers gazed his back as if looking for something. Not before long, when you reached the spot between his shoulder blades, you’d found what you were looking for. Venti smiled, and giggled blissfully, when you touched the anemo sigil.
A gust of wind blew at the contact.
Then you continued to repeat this process with each of the archons. On zhongli’s chest, on the back of Ei’s neck, nahida’s right wrist, behind furina left ear, the pyro archons left shoulder, and the Coro archons cheek just next to her eye.
You take a step back, to look at all of them. You smiled at them, at that moment the sun that was setting in the background shined a little brighter. The orange and pinks of the sky reflected off the clouds, and the wind flowed. Various of kinds of flowers floated on the wind gracefully.
The group started at you, hearts beating in their chest, as they watched you seemingly glow in the setting sun’s raise.
As you look at them, you see a flicker to someone they used to be, a version of themselves that you haven’t seen in a long time. For a second they were something, a group from long ago, your archons that you knew. The ones you made. When they go back to their present form, you see what they’ve become.
They’re different. New. Not what you expected, but the change was nice, and they changed in such different ways. The change was welcomed, and warm.
“My archons, oh how I’ve missed you so.”

Did the kiddos! Kinda simplified the hair for all of them cause I have trouble drawing hair. Besides that, made Joule’s ear markings bigger and added one to her tail to look similar to her siblings’ redesigns, and gave Coro and Taima little scarves along with some other edits!
OH GOODNESS THEY LOOK SO FREAKIN CUTE!!!
I'm so sorry that Taima and Joule's hair is hard to draw, it will happen again LMAO
I really love the colors on Taima! I know when I first designed her, I had a hard time implementing shiny Pikachu with shiny Dewott, but you did it so wonderfully, I really really like it!
AND THEIR FLUFF, OH MY GOODNESS, YOU HIT MY WEAKSPOT!!! I also love how Joule has little cheek fluff to match her siblings' whiskers, very nice touch!

*
At first she lived alone in this wild home, And her own thoughts were each a minister, Clothing themselves, or with the ocean foam, Or with the wind, or with the speed of fire, To work whatever purposes might come Into her mind; such power her mighty Sire Had girt them with, whether to fly or run, Through all the regions which he shines upon.
The Ocean-nymphs and Hamadryades, Oreads and Naiads, with long weedy locks, Offered to do her bidding through the seas, Under the earth, and in the hollow rocks, And far beneath the matted roots of trees, And in the gnarled heart of stubborn oaks, So they might live for ever in the light Of her sweet presence—each a satellite.
'This may not be,' the wizard maid replied; 'The fountains where the Naiades bedew Their shining hair, at length are drained and dried; The solid oaks forget their strength, and strew Their latest leaf upon the mountains wide; The boundless ocean like a drop of dew Will be consumed—the stubborn centre must Be scattered, like a cloud of summer dust.
'And ye with them will perish, one by one;— If I must sigh to think that this shall be, If I must weep when the surviving Sun Shall smile on your decay—oh, ask not me To love you till your little race is run; I cannot die as ye must—over me Your leaves shall glance—the streams in which ye dwell Shall be my paths henceforth, and so—farewell!'—
She spoke and wept:—the dark and azure well Sparkled beneath the shower of her bright tears, And every little circlet where they fell Flung to the cavern-roof inconstant spheres And intertangled lines of light:—a knell Of sobbing voices came upon her ears From those departing Forms, o'er the serene Of the white streams and of the forest green.

If you are a queer person who has a decent ear for music and can carry a tune I cannot overstate how incredible the experience of joining a queer chorus can be. Especially if you're not religious/lack an affirming religious community or other sort of built in larger social group. You get the opportunity to meet your peers but also people from other generations, from other backgrounds, who can help you and become friends or lovers or comrades. and there's nothing like looking out into a crowd of people who have come to watch you make art and celebrate you for being queer. There's nothing quite like it. Obviously not every location has them but there are more than you think — I was just at a festival in Minneapolis that had choruses not only from lesser known cities and towns throughout the US but also from other countries like Mexico, Estonia, and Taiwan among others! (Also if you're ever in or near Ciudad México in December or June please do yourself to favor of going to see Coro Gay de Ciudad México in concert, they will change your life)
You don't have to be a star singer or even all that good at reading music. Depending on the chorus, you may not even need to audition. (And I heard some absolutely incredible non-audition choruses last week, so it does not impact the quality.) You may need to pay, but many will offer reduced or waived fees for singers who need financial assistance. These are incredible arts organizations which provide community and belonging as well as advocacy at a time where it's sorely needed, and being part of that has been such a powerful experience for me and so many others.

Joker Hanging out with Elementary Schoolers
Now that's a title.
So, after watching that second Coro Coro All-Star episode, my friend and I were joking about Joker being this (headcanoned) 16 year old surrounded by a bunch of elementary schoolers, and we started to talk about how funny pathetic Joker is because I can ABSOLUTELY SEE Joker hanging around and getting along with elementary schoolers because he's just so immature... well of course, until he doesn't get along with them, which is also inevitable.
For whatever reason, he's stuck hanging with some elementary schoolers for a period of time, and some of these kids think he's SO COOL, some even know him from TV broadcasts and news, so he might even be their bad influence idol.
Joker loves it when people worship and praise him--yes, even if they're kids because his personality is terrible--so he'd act like he doesn't care so much but he is LOVING the praise, and probably shows off a trick or two to the kids since they're being so insistent (he's annoyed, but not too much. Yet.)
Eventually one of the kids teases him or insults him because that's what kids do, because Joker inevitably does something that isn't COOL or the kid wants to be contrary about, and Joker, on the same level of an elementary schooler, gets into a 'I know you are but what am I' level of argument and petty squabble--
"Why do you wear a cape? Can't somebody grab it? What if it gets caught in something? Are you stupid?"
Joker gets INCREDIBLY offended, because capes are cool and he wouldn't make a rookie mistake like that. It's for the aesthetic. The cape is an incredibly important part of his outfit.
This kid basically calls his get-up cringe after that, 'it's worse than what a preschooler would make up', and that's when the argument completely breaks down.
The kid's just teasing him and saying kid things and Joker is trying to tell this kid how DISRESPECTFUL HE IS TO THE HISTORY OF PHANTOM THIEVES, DON'T YOU KNOW ALL THE BEST PHANTOM THIEVES WORE CAPES!?
and now you have a division of some ten year olds on his side nodding and going 'YEAH' and other ten year olds who are either completely disoriented or think it's really funny to tease Joker.
Initially the joke had started as 'Joker hangs with elementary schoolers because elementary schoolers understand him best' because his friends his age are SUCH A DRAG read: more mature and trying to hold him accountable and I do think he has much more shame and pride than to outright say he prefers to hang with elementary schoolers, but... Joker ends up indirectly saying this. dfjgiofgh
But of course he ends up actually around kids and they want to do kid things that he actually has grown out of a little bit, or they hit him back with his level of maturity, and then suddenly kids are AWFUL.
And if Hachi isn't there yet to do damage control, he arrives on the scene like JOKER'S MOM to pick up his disrespectful and terrible 16 year old child that is .5 seconds away from duking it out with a first grader.
And then of course when Joker's back on the Sky Joker he gets The Earful from Hachi where he's lectured for a good thirty minutes about accountability and maturity, Hachi who is probably no older than 11 but easily three times more mature in any given circumstance.
And of course this lecture is happening while Hachi is COOKING DINNER FOR JOKER in his FRILLY PINK APRON while Joker is stuck on the couch (if Joker moves or tries to sneak away Hachi gets scary stern because he needs to SIT THERE and be lectured so Joker is STUCK. ON. THAT. COUCH- or else Hachi's going back to live with his parents and if this sounds like a marital dispute that's not my fault djfogijh)
