Meet Elijah Howard!

3: Cornell seems like its a good place for people to be themselves and do what they love. I’ve never really been a big fan of someone telling me what to do, so I think I’ll fit in well.

4: I would like to be a musician.  Performing onstage and recording my own albums always has appealed to me.

5: I don’t really look up to anyone.  Sure, there have been people who inspire me, but I want to be set apart from the rest and do my own thing, I don’t like to live a cookie-cutter lifestyle.

Meet Blythe Kingsley!

3: Cornell University seems like a great place to meet new people who are just as odd as I am.

4: I would love to be a makeup artist and work on special effects makeup for movies.  I’ve been a big fan of horror movies ever since I was little and It would be really fun to be into the world I looked up to for so long.

5: It’s hard to pick just one! Ve Neil is up there because I admire her work, but I would say my biggest inspiration is Marilyn Manson.  Yeah, weird I know, but he taught me that being weird is okay and that I shouldn’t let anyone stop me from being who I want and going where I want in life.

6: I have a lot of favorites, but one that I really have taken to heart is “You get depressed because you know you’re not what you should be” – Marilyn Manson

GIF Sample

In a gif starter or reply, the text is very short and it is like a chat.  Just open a text post, type what you want to say and add a gif.  The gif should show actions for you.

Like this:

I wish it was lunch already, I’m starving.

Not this:

I wish it was lunch already, I’m starving. *laughs*

Also, when making gif starters and replies, make sure the gif fits with the text.

Like This:

‘Happy Halloween’? Please, I live Halloween!

Not like this:

‘Happy Halloween’? Please, I live Halloween!

When you reply, just reblog and write your response with a gif. Like with paras, make sure to remove the top post to keep blogs clean:)  It’s actually really easy when you get started.

For starters, tag them with starter and tag every post with cornelluni and gif.  Replies should be tagged with reply.

Para Sample

When you do a para (or paragraph), title the para, if you cannot think of a title for it, just conjoin the names. For example, if this para were Blythe and Elijah, you could title it Blijah.  If you are doing an open para where anyone can respond, title it Open Para.  Until someone responds. Tag starters with the tag: starter.  It’s okay to post starters, but don’t just post a whole bunch of starters and not send any replies.

When doing a para, you should write full paragraphs in character.  Paras are for longer, in depth posts. For example:

Blythe had been studying for her chemistry test for hours before she realized that taking the class was a mistake.  ‘What does chemistry have to do with makeup?’ she asked herself.  Blythe had always been an ‘artsy type’, and as much as she hated to be categorized, she knew that science wasn’t anywhere near her forte.  Blythe is also someone who doesn’t give in easily, so of course she had to  As she came across the word titration, she realized that failing the class wasn’t the most horrible thing that could happen to her.

When you want to reply to a para, just reblog it and write your reply. When there is more than two replies, make sure to delete the top reply to keep blogs clean and to avoid having to follow links around.  If you have any other questions, just send an ask to the main blog. :)
