might as well talk abt angel paldea since i finally finished scarlet. spoilers for sv and also possible angel spoilers

ok so first we have cori! she's a side character from penelope's diary and a main character in brilliant holiday, known for her sweet and lovable personality and her knowledge about the history of Galar, and specifically, the legend of the King of Bountiful Harvests. she was key in helping isis and ray find crown and help purify and unseal Mariaraw in penelope's diary.

after the events of penelope's diary, cori's parents decided to transfer her to naranja academy, since they felt as though she would fit in well there. she's kinda bummed about having to part ways with her older cousin khion, but she's still really excited.

next we have alyana! she's the ghost type gym leader from Arawan, who temporarily resigned to study in Paldea. her mother let her go to Naranja Academy after hearing about the school's lack of bullies, a problem alyana faced back in Arawan. she's not nearly as energetic or outgoing as cori, but she makes up for it with her skill and cooperative personality.

she has a somewhat dark sense of humor, and she likes to act mysterious. the butterflies adorning her hair are a mystery, though alyana claims they're the souls of the dead who were drawn to her.

she grew up in unova, where she had a group of friends who she would investigate paranormal activities with. but she then moved to arawan, losing contact with them, and was forced to adapt to her new environment. despite being arawanyo herself, she felt like an alien among her peers, and was instead comforted by her ghost type partners.

alyana and cori first run into each other in mesagoza's plaza. alyana recognizes cori as the girl who helped find crown, and cori recognizes aly as the ghost type gym leader of arawan. after realizing that they were both attending the academy, they decided to stick together and become friends.

they later met penny, nemona, and arven. cori and nemona get along immediately, thanks to their energetic personalities and passionate hearts. meanwhile, alyana gets to know penny a little better, as they both share some things in common.

treasure hunt eventually comes and cori chooses to challenge the pokemon league with help from nemona, while alyana chooses not to due to her already being part of the arawan league. aly gets a call from a mysterious caller in secret, and helps them with operation starfall.

somewhere along the way, cori comes across a certain koraidon too! arven gives her its pokeball, and professor sada entrusts her with it, knowing cori's record of befriending powerful pokemon. cori and alyana both team up to help arven defeat the titans... though koraidon always ends up stealing alyana's sandwich (she wasn't that hungry anyways... right?)

this is def a huge work in progress lol, but basically theyre just 5 idiots and their pet dog
