I’ll do my best to find 9 songs, was it? That remind me of a ship

“Viento”-Caifanes — Cordelia/Gale (bg3) just the astral imagery and wanting time to slow down for a moment. This song is when they’re both unsure about the future outcome, but want to exist together in their little bubble for a little longer.

“Eres”- Cafe Tacvba — another Cordelia/Gale from Gale’s perspective. Just the utter devotion is very Gale to me. He devotes his body, mind, and soul, and wants that energy returned. That like. Mutual devotion to each other. The lines “[you are] my salvation, my hope, and my faith” gets to me.

“sisko älä pelkää”- pehmoaino — not a romantic ship, but this does make me think of Cordelia & Wyll platonic friendship. In Cordelia’s canon, they were best friends since childhood. The events of the game really fracture their relationship, and they feel this growing distance where they used to be so close.

“Dos galaxias”- Indios — another Cordelia & Wyll straining friendship. Just confused and hurt because what happened? They used to be so close. Cordelia who sees him like a brother, so why is he now so far away that they might as well be two galaxies.

“Dime Como Tú Quieras”- Los Mesoneros — haven’t talked about this pairing to anyone except maybe 2 people, but Ever/Aria T’Loak (Mass Effect 2) this is We-both-need-a-distraction-from-our-exes, no-we-won’t-talk-about-it sex

“Antes de Ti”- Diamante Eléctrico - Ever/James when they get together post-canon. Just Ever’s bad reputation with relationships just turning to ash, because they want so much of what used to scare them (real intimacy). All the sugary sweet romantic things they used to avoid, they now seek (and enjoy) from him.

“Between Two Points (feat. Swan)”- The Glitch Mob, Swan — Cordelia/Gale. It’s a little horny, but also a little dark because the weight of what they must do is so heavy. She projects confidence to ease everyone else’s anxieties (seeing her so self-assured inspires), but they very much don’t know what will happen. These two are so thirsty for each other

“Hug”- SEVENTEEN — Cordelia/Gale. Specifically this is Gale comforting Cordelia after she sacrifices her magic. They love each other so much T-T

I have few blorbos guys sorry! And some of my favorite blorbo pairings are with other friend’s OCs, so I’m really struggling to find a last song.

“Try to be”- Blue Hawaii —So while not a ship song, I’ll share this song that’s kinda like a character study? I think it really captures some of the struggles that Ever has with their mother. Never living up to her expectations, realizing that they don’t want to even try to, anymore.

(Sorry for the long post, I just kept writing and writing lol)

I agree with the sentiment to a certain extent. The second generation I feel are as well written as they could be (especially since time travel is a story tool I'm not fond of), but definitely benefitted from Future Past. Even though the Future Past kids aren't the same exact characters we have, they act as a 'what if' version so I count the development as one and the same.

However, to be a bit specific, one thing about them stood out, and it's indicative of a peculiar, unfortunate aspect of FE13's cast as a whole.

The boys are written with more taste, consistency, and sensitivity than the girls. Though outliers exist (like Lucina and Severa), the second gen girls are kind of cheap? They get more "humorous" supports (i put humorous in quotes cuz I don't find a lot of the jokes funny), and are treated less seriously as a whole.

Cynthia is like a sidekick or guinea pig more than an actual participant in the conversation sometimes (which I guess is funny in an ironic sort of way); Kjelle's supports are really vapid, offering nothing that her mom didn't, and delivered with a less entertaining speech pattern, and there's only a few things worse than being boring to me; Nah... is honestly kind of a mess, teetering between playing the mature straight man, and being the most childish and annoying creature ever (e.g. I hate a lot of Nowi's supports, but Nah's support with Laurent is singularly worse than all of them and is a contender for the worst one in the game); and F!Morgan, while her actions and dialogue are supposed to be cute, I find them to be kind of boundary pushing, alarming, or even downright mean sometimes.

Again, Lucina (some of the best supports in the game period, being varied, having great dialogue) and Severa (her self esteem issues recontextualize every support chain in an artful matter) avoid this, as does Noire for the most part (she's written pretty sincerely as comedic or melancholy when she needs to be), but the four ladies I mentioned beforehand can just be... bleh. Being honest, were it not for Future Past, Cynthia, Nah, and F!Morgan would've been several marks lower. Their peaks are lower than what Inigo, Yarne, Laurent, and Brady provide, and Owain's comedy lands a lot better than theirs as well.

Though, like I said earlier, this is indicative of a larger problem I have with Awakening's writing. Since the game was written with the prospect of being the last, the popular Japanese entertainment tropes were all thrown into the mix, and they tend to be at the expense of the women. Sumia's clumisness, Sully's experience with sexism being kind of surface level (i.e. not something that feels connected to the world of the game), Tharja being Yandere 101, Nowi in general, etc. A third of them comment on being a mess in the kitchen, they blush due to crass comments or outright weirdo requests 3x more often than the men, a good chunk of them are written to get pissed at a drop of a hat, and so on.

Hell, lots of the women in my 'Favorite' or 'Love' tiers on my list, also have 1 or 2 utterly terrible supports that really exemplify this. Lucina's support with F!Robin (when they're not parent and child) is godawful; Maribelle suffers when her subtle desire to be loved or charmed is brought to the forefront (e.g. her support with Virion is like Gray/Clair if Gray was also a noble, and her support with Gregor is very tepid and flavorless when she's usually very entertaining); Cherche and Olivia suffer when they have zero chemistry with their conversation partner; Cordelia suffers when she plays straight into the 'superior perfectionist' bit (Frederick, Donnel), using her conversation partner as a way to vent about Chrom (Frederick again, Henry, Gregor), and outright becomes a nagging mom/wife who cleans up her man with Gaius; and Panne suffers when the writers decide to ignore how her race was enslaved and hunted to near extinction in favor of other characters (often men) getting to play with her ears, cuddling with her fur, or calling her cute when she doesn't want them to.

Most damningly, F!Robin is several marks lower than her male counterpart despite being the same character in-story, because a good deal of her unique supports write her badly (Chrom, Lucina, Aversa, Yarne) or barely at all (Brady, Anna, Owain). Even supports that got a laugh out of me-which is a big accomplishment-like with Lon'qu, still aren't stellar cuz they play on her being almost a caricature; like she's "Robin but a woman (derogatory)" instead of just... a version of Robin.

Chrom and Katherine's wedding

The royal wedding was a joyfull occasion. Everyone wanted to be a part of the wedding but only a few select people where allowed to join. Such as much of the nobility, the Shepards,  and the sister and mother of the bride. No one was as nervous as the bride. “Come on, Katherine. It’s Chrom and you’s wedding day! You don’t need to be so stressed.”Mia said slightly pushing on her sister’s arm. “Easy for you to say, Mia! You’re not the one marrying royalty!” Katherine spoke nervously Sumia and Anastasia were giving her dress the finishing touches.

“Ok Katherine, time for your make-up.” Sumia said with a smile she left for a moment to get the kit. Anastasia gives a quick hug to her eldest daughter. “Oh one of my babies is finally getting married! I’m so happy!”she cried. “Mother, We love you. Thank you for rasing us..” Katherine said. “I’m back!” Sumia spoke holding the makeup box.  Within a couple of minutes the makeup was done and it was time for them to walk down the aisle.  The first one that walk down the aisle was the Libra, that is the official of the wedding. Then there was Chrom, he was dressed in his wedding suit. Next was Fredrick, He was asked to be the best man. Next, came the groomsmen Stahl, Ricken, and Lon’qu. Next, was the bridesmaids, Mirabelle, Sumia, and Cordelia. Next to last, was the ring bearer and flower girl. Lissa was the flower girl and Donnel was the ring bearer. Now finally Chrom cried when he saw her. Katherine the love of his life was walking down the aisle with her mother and twin sister.  Libra asks the three a question. “Anastasia, Do you support Katherine  in her wedding with Chrom?” He asks. “Her sister and I do.” Anastasia said. Katherine turns to her mother and received a kiss on the head. Katherine walks to Chrom and joins her hands in his. Anastasia and Mia take their position.

Kathrine gladly repeats it whilst putting it on his finger.

I will also gift not only this couple standing before us, but for all that has gathered here with a few words of blessings. This is a Fire Emblem Awakening hypothetical so there are spoilers for those who haven't finished the game.

This hypothetical is about if Lucina's journey back in time never happened, in the first place. So basically the original timeline. If Lucina didn't travel back in time, Grima wouldn't be able to ether sense it was explicitly said Grima traveled back in time to go after Lucina. Emeryn would have been assassinated in chapter 6. Chrom would likely obtain the fire emblem sooner. The war starting in Chapter 5 still happens. Cordelia might never join in Chapter 7 because that was when they were relocated Emeryn, but she reasonably could still join. Chapter 8 is when things would really change sense Emeryn's execution wouldn't be a thing, Chrom then has no reason to immediately march towards plegia, also causing Nowi and Gregor to not encounter them.

Now to address the the content sized dragon in the room, Robin would likely have a completely opposing perspective on this whole thing, likely not being so sympathetic to Chrom's Shepards, being in on the plan the whole time.

This is where people will be divided, on whether Robin turns good, or stays as is. Yes I am ignoring that the intro cutscene is a memory from the future Robin, meaning Robin likey turned good. It's more fun that way.

7) Post a snippet from a wip. - hahah i'm in between wips on my main fics so i had to go back to an earlier wip for a fic i may or may never finish

Commander Cordelia Shepard, savior of the Citadel and Reaper Scourge had reluctantly agreed to meet Garrus for a date at some new restaurant that served both levo and dextro food. She knew that Garrus longed for real turian food so she couldn't deny him, although that meant she had to watch a turian eat, which was… a different experience. Turians' sharp teeth, mandibles, and different mouth structure meant that they mostly tore into their food and gulped it down. Soup for turians was out of the question. She loved him though, so this was just a part of Garrus, just as he had to accept weird human biology to be with her. Delia scanned the crowds among the neon lights as she made her way down the thoroughfare, idly taking in the variety of the crowd as she searched for Garrus. There seemed to be a greater mix of species as the numbers of fleeing refugees grew. She thought she saw some human and asari children mixed among the crowd, although she had yet to see turian children, as turians kept their children closely guarded. She wondered if any had made it to the Citadel or if turians had been secreting their families to some secret, off channel world. It was a small hope that such a world existed, but she could see the turians pulling it off - any of the council races could be capable of that feat really, except humanity, who seemed to be the blabbermouths of the galaxy. All her worries clamored for her attention as she walked and her heart grew heavy again. Was she doing enough? Was there anything else she could do to turn the tide? Would any of them really survive this war? Did any of her herculean efforts mean anything in the face of what seemed to be their inevitable slaughter? So focused was she that she ignored the wolf whistle that a human male let loose as she walked past. He and his behavior was inconsequential though, and if he decided to try something she could break his fingers.

Thought you want to change into something else. Your uniforms seems too formal for the guild hall,"

Lucina sighed and tugged on her sleeve. "Formal it may be, but unlike some people..." She poked Cordelia's side and made her giggle. "I have a political reputation to keep. This petty baron guy was insisting yesterday you had to be executed for 'trying to kill the Exalt and install the princess as his puppet to rule the country and turn it into a warzone to prophet from." She snorted. "I don't think Robin is going to let him get home in one piece, but unfortunately people get very skittish when they think I'm being influenced by a mercenary."

Cordelia nodded. "Oh, I remember when Robin first joined the Shepards, the fuss some of them kicked up that she was trying to seduce him. Politics, never."

Cordelia Shaw started her day by cooking for her and her husband Brandon Carver,who had returned from afghanistan,was at the store getting last minute groceries.

He of course had ptsd which caused their relationship to be rocky at first,but they both had their fair share of trauma from diffrent circumstances,another fact was that they were only eighteen.

Her older sister Leah had called asking her to babysit Matthew,her adopted son.

Cordelia loved him to pieces,but she envied Leah somtimes.

You see She was pregnant but had a miscarrige that almost took her life too,after being released from the hospital She cried in Brandon's arms for weeks,she wouldnt eat for days until Carver forced food down her throught.

He was also filled with grief and stress when he got the call his unborn child had passed,and that his wife might not make it, and Leah almost had a panic attack when she heard her baby sister might not make it,the two held eachother waiting for Cordelia to come through.

So making sure Cordelia didnt do somthing drastic, Carver took her to shooting ranges were they both took their frustration and grief out on targets and even went hunting.

Cordelia was snapped out of her thoughts when her phone started beeping with amber alerts,and she almost freaked when Brandon Slammed open the door.

"Babe? whats going on,why do you look freaked out?" Cordelia asked him,the man had pulled her into a hug and kissed her forehead.

"Nothing baby just pack a bag of some things you might need,we need to get out of here Leah will meet us." Carver said resting his forhead on hers.

"Brandon wha-" Cordelia was cut off by loud booms from outside,looking out the window she saw bombs being dropped out of helicopters.

And with that She and Carver Packed needed essentials,hand in hand they ran outside.

After a few hours they had went to the military base they were supposed to meet at only to be met with flames.

"Stay here!" Carver said kissing Cordelia,and going into the burning building after they heard screams of help.

She let out a breath of relief when he came out safe along with bossie and turner.

"Cordelia!" She heard her sisters voice yell.

Cordelia saw Her sister Leah,who was holding Matthew and besides them a german shepard,viola,she was a retired k-9 that used to sniff out drugs and help in kidnapping cases,She hugged them tightly.

As Carver,bossi,turner,and more of their companians came out of the flames,Cordelia wrapped her arms around Brandon when almost fainted.

"You inhaled to much smoke,breath in and out." Cordelia said holding a Oxygen mask to her husbands face,Brandon rolled his eyes but did as told.

The others gave her a "what the fuck" look.

"What im a doctor,im always prepared." Cordelia said,raising her brow.

Afterwards a bald headed man stepped forward,his name was Pope,the leader of their small group.

"Alright we need shelter from the bombs I found a Church three miles away from base." Pope said.

And with that the two women,a child,a dog,and around twenty men traveled three miles,not without trouble.

When a Person appeared in the center of the trail they were taking Cordelia took note of his rotten skin ,glazed eyes and,mouth up in a snarl.

Thats when he launched forward biting into the throught of one of the men.

Carver pushed Cordelia behind him gripping his hand gun.

Leah held her breath as she tightend her grip on Matthew,Cordelia noticed things about the man.

For starters it looked like he was dead,his ribs were poking out,and when Wells shot him in the heart it did nothing.

"That wont work." Cordelia stated,grabbing the hand gun from Carver,who started murmering curses under his breath.

"Cordelia wha-" He was cut off by his wife shooting the thing in his head.

"Go for the head,its the only way." Cordelia stated.

Carver,Leah and the others were in silent shock,Brandon had a proud smirk on his face.

Mathhew tightend his grip on Leah,While viola barked at the group.

"That was a hell of a shot,you sure your a doctor,and that your only eighteen." Pope asked Cordelia,who had Carver's arm around her.

"Im one of the youngest Docters in the state,and I had Carver to teach me how to shoot as if I was in the military." Cordelia stated,walking hand in hand with Carver the rest of the trail.

"R.i.p to our youth,we could call this our funeral." Cordelia said to Carver and Leah.

Said people gave her a deadpan stare.

"Im just telling the truth,its the walking fucking dead out here!" She Exclaimed pointing to a group of ten dead ones.

The group grabbed their guns and anything they could get their hands on.

Carver shot three dead ones while Cordelia killed four,and Pope killed the rest.

The others murmured about not being able to kill any dead ones.

They finally made it to the Church,its windows were broken and the door cracked.

The group rushed into the church huddling into the corners and some into the aisles sitting down.

"You good." Carver asked Cordelia while kissing her forhead.

As she was about to answer a loud boom went of and it all went black for them group.

And when they awoke the church was in flames some were dead and being shot or stabbed in the head by remaining survivors.

"The Church has burned but we were left unharmed,baptized by fire and God!"Pope exclaimed.

"We are the chosen ones! we are Gods soldiers!" Pope exclaimed.

Cordelia had rested her head on Carver's shoulder wiping her brow,while Carver wrapped his arm around her shoulder,cleaning the blood of his fallen brothers from his hands.

Leah had covered Matthews eyes from the dead and burning bodies,as Viola sniffed around the Flaming church.

Pope went around with Mancea who Prayed for each of them with many Prayers.

And with that the group went to find a new base,but this was only the begining,and more was yet to come.
