So... There's that consence going around that Sengoku attracts all kinds of animals, because of him being a Buddha and such.

And I like to believe he didn't think too much about it when he took Rocinante in. Maybe he even thought "well, the little boy won't be lonely then".

... Maybe he was right, but also so so wrong?

What if Rosi wasn't at all amused at the animals? Not because he didn't like them, but because they started to tease him every time no one payed them any mind?

The goat eating his hair in his sleep, or headbutting him from behind.. Making him trip on purpose as he grew so huge he didn't look down on the path so much..

(so he starts to wear hats and fluffy coats at some point for real)

The gorilla stealing his snacks, getting literally picked on by birds...

Maybe his clumsy nature was a byproduct of growing up like that? Being gaslit by animals, as Sengoku probably didn't pay that any mind, therefore having no chance to return the favor...

And children reminding him of that apocalyptic chaos, so he developed a strong dislike towards them?

It kinda accentuates Cora-san recognizing Law as this feisty brat, but so so human.. he can't help but start to like the little creature that stabbed him good. That fought back so viciously, reclaiming his place and not backing down.

Haaaa.... I love them so much.

Bonus:

What if Law starts teasing the goat now, after he and Sengoku established their Rocinante bound fate? Law being their legacy is still so funny to me---- he's the ultimate menace sometimes and I think that's beautiful.

It makes him being allies with the Straw hats even more hilarious.
