hi kemie!!! i really love the way you play with your sims and you let them make their own decisions, it really inspired me to also start playing like that. I recently made 2 sims with the complete opposite traits (one is gloomy and a loner and the other is a party animal and cheerful) and even though they dont have good compatibility, they both are completely attracted to each other. i helped them work on their friendship a little bit and right now they are very good friends (their bar is maxed out) but i haven’t done anything to initiate a romance or smth. You were the one that initiated shin and maya’s romance bar right? because i feel like if i keep waiting nothings gonna happen and because one of the sims is an npc he could get in another relationship without me being aware and my sim will lose her chance lol😭

i created shin & maya so long ago that i can't remember exactly how their romance bar started, but shin & maya had a crush on eachother (crushes come with the highschool years pack), i actually made maya ask him on a date first, and i made them go to the amusement park in copperdale so they could go on rides together (from what i remember this can influence their romance bar) i know that shin is the one that initiated most of the romance after that (maybe because he has the romantic trait?) and i also helped him, but don't hesitate to make one of your sims initiate it, it can be something small like 'compliment appearance' for example~
