I did a run of prints for class. Once I pick my fav I’ll post a scan before my professor steals it away for the student archives.

Etching is really fun if you ever have a change to try it. You get to melt stuff with acid, but just a little.

composite/mockup/whatever for my intaglio final! the background and text box will be mostly the same just with a half-tone pattern since we're screenprinting onto copper, then the alecto bit is going to be a line-etch and aquatint, maybe toner resist on the negative space behind her if i'm feeling edgy. this is gonna take me so long it's not even funny.

side note, this blog has been totally dead because i've only been making art for school lol

Another print featuring Bluebell Littleears! literally 3/4 projects from this class are bluebell-centric lmao you can really tell I had her on the mind

Had a lot of fun with the textures and stuff... I think I should've reversed it made the darker part the foreground not the background lol but alas!

I actually quite enjoyed doing etchings! They weren't as well liked by the ppl in my class, and I hate the smell lol but I LOVED the part where you're gently wiping the ink off with tarlatan I really got a good feel for it it was great... I love lil repetitive task hehe

Something, something...."Make men cry again" Acryla gouache on 4x6"/100x150mm Copper plate. Painted in a single session, I think 3-4 hours? I was kind of plucking around and kept adding to it. Was originally going to be a new series, where I do a painting, destroy it turning it into an etching, then paint over that again... but I really like this and don't want to get rid of it now fml... Anywayyyys I post more of my art on insta, maybe I'll get a blue sky...but not sure if I should for the art of it.
