Co-parenting

It’s moments like this that make every mile worth it... that toothy, dimply smile... the hugs and snuggles and “I love you mommy’s”... the time I get to spend with my son is priceless... I cherish building memories with him. And with my daughter.. running around the house laughing and giggling, shrieks of giddiness and “you can’t catch meeeee”... I tell you what, I should weigh 120 lbs running around after these two ;) but, thank you Lord for my cardio... my two little baby dolls I’ve been entrusted to #teach and #shapeforthefuture ....I think it’s pretty cool you picked me and the lessons you taught me that got me to this point... Today is also one of those days that as a mother your heart just aches... you know tomorrow you’re gonna be up and at em, loading up the caffeine intake mug and hitting the road around 5am, west bound toward the mountains..... it’s the moments in when between visits, hugs and sugars are intangible... so, yeah... my 7 year old got a phone... he will always have a way to get ahold of mommy anytime he needs me... step off with your opinions and stay outta my dm, because if you knew me and all the obstacles I overcame and court trips I went to, you would know me well enough to just be happy that I was in a position to be able to be the cool mom 😎 for once:) I mean... it’s not a competition. My son has a good life. More grandparents than he knows what to do with❤️an amazing stepdad.. Emma as a lil sis😜A good dad. And his dads fiancée and her son are a huge, totally awesome part of Elijah’s life too.. he has another amazing stepbrother, Kaleb and a beautiful stepsister, Madison..their mom, Kassy, she loves Emma snuggles and seeing pics of Elijah too.. and having a good laugh about: “do NOT send a cowboy hat”—we don’t use step and half and all that though.. we’re just family..

we all just work together and make it happen.... that’s the way coparenting should be...
