As for the high word count… I don’t have a strict word goal in mind for each chapter, but I do try to aim for around 10k if possible. Sometimes it’ll be more words, sometimes less. It all depends on the chapter. I just write until I’ve accomplished everything that needs to be told in that chapter, which just usually works out to anywhere between 5 and 10k. There’s nothing wrong with shorter word counts as long as you’re still able to tell your story how you want to tell it.

not really a question, but more of an observation. arranged marriage reader reminds me of a semi feral cat, hissing at things that don't need hissing at(and regretting it later) as trust if slowly being built

Fortunately, Donna is super good around cats!
