So this has the classic premise: Paa isn't allowed to be dating anyone until Pat is dating someone. Except there's a catch—Pat is dating someone. It's Pran, and they've been hiding it from their parents.

Ink asks Paa out, and Paa is super excited—she tells her parents almost immediately that she has a date coming up (it's been a while since the whole condition thing has come up), and Ming shoots her down.

Paa is understandably frustrated. She winds up complaining to Pat the next day, and Pat, being a good big brother, is immediately like: "okay how do we solve this."

There's a reason why Pran is usually in charge of scheming.

In true Jindapat Sibling Fashion they come up with A Plan™️—it is not a very good plan to be fair, and Ink and Pran are very, very skeptical, but their other options were for Pat to fake date either Korn or Wai or one of their other friends and that...yeah.

So the plan is for Pat to pretend he's dating Ink.

Yes, the same Ink that Paa is going to actually be dating.

The plan hinges entirely on two things: 1) their parents think Pat is dating Ink by Pat introducing them to Ink, 2) their parents never meet the person that Paa is dating, and Pat vouches for the (fake) person. They get through the second part by acting like Paa is just trying out going on dates with lots of different people (keeping track of names becomes a mess) who don't last long enough to be introduced to the parents.

On the other side of things, Pat & Pran & Ink & Paa are going on lots of double dates so that Pat can send photos of him and Ink into the family GC for deniability.

Except...then their mom sees them while they're out on one of these excursions and thinks that Paa is dating Pran. Chaos erupts—they don't admit the truth, Paa says that she'll never go on a date with Pran ever again (lol), their parents settle down after a lot of placation.

Of course, like five seconds later, Ink and Paa get caught, and it's Chaos x1000 as they try to clear things up with the Jindapat parents.

Eventually, things get resolved, and the Jindapat parents aren't happy, persay, that Pat is dating Pran, but Nam at the very least is just relieved that her life hasn't turned into an AITA post

And then the fic would end openly, with Dissaya seeing Pran and Paa together while they're out buying a birthday present for Pat, because of course.
