Reflection Pressure cooker design of the concept 1 :
A low-fidelity prototype is a basic, simplified version of a product or system that is created early in the design process to quickly explore and communicate ideas. These prototypes are typically built using inexpensive materials such as paper, cardboard, or digital tools like wireframing software. Low-fidelity prototypes focus on conveying key concepts and functionalities without worrying about intricate details or aesthetics. They are used to gather feedback, test assumptions, and iterate on design ideas before investing significant time and resources into higher fidelity versions.
We work all three on the low fidelity prototype. I desire designed the shape of the overall game. I also design in the court and choose the colour codes. Giovanni decided that the the division of the different profile and Elena as well as all the other member of the team decided about the general concept and also we all cut it. The cardboard cartoon. We were a little bit in a hurry. And stressed due to the limited amount of time that we had before the presentation. However, I learned that low fidelity prototype can be really helpful in a way to present a product. I think it's always nice to have something physical to show and it allows you to make use or testing during the presentation. The low fidelity prototype was really useful because the teacher and the other student could directly give us feedback on our projects and we directly had. The feeling that we could do so much more and that we should also use our own technique that we learn from our previous background because it was made clear that. Our background is really interesting for them and they want us also to do things differently. So after the presentation, we had a talk about what are our learning goals and we shared our portfolio with all the other team member. To really gather information into what can be or strengthen our weakness and what can we do? Differently and what can be our unique? Way of creating a product. That would help. Young people from 14 to 18 to found the good orientation at university an also maybe empower them to feel confident enough to follow their dream and to study at Technical University.
I learned to work with Miro, one drive, and canvas All this application helped me to understand better the system of the TV and to work really well with my other team member. Previously I had never worked with my row, but I found it really interesting because we could quickly share our thoughts or idea nor. Advancements in the assignment that we gave to each other. So it was really helpful and really nice.
Create a pitch presentation for a concept  was also a learning experience for me because I. Create a new pitch for the first concept and made the video and together we made a video and PowerPoint slide. To convince the board as like we were presenting to them a concept. For investments, it was really interested. However, when it came to the presentation time, I was a little bit anxious to stand in front of everybody. But at the end I learn the way we can convince people with concepts and really quickly create system concept and design. In one week. When we don't know a lot about UX design or industrial design with the help of the double design diamond and low fidelity prototype. The first week of the project in preparation to the pressure coocker I learned how the double diamond design rocess work:The double diamond demonstrates how design is a systematic process for innovation. In short, it shows how we define the right problem before finding the right solution. We start by exploring, talking to users, observing and gathering insight and information. We involve several disciplines and uncover challenges and opportunities. We are particularly interested in how people think and feel and what their needs and expectations are. We take all the insight from the first phase. Also under fine down to the essence and redefine the problem. We outline the scope of possibilities and adjust our ambitions. Once the problem is defined. We develop as many ideas as possible. At this stage it is quantity over quality. The ideas improved when we work together across disciplines and in collaboration with the users. In the last phase, we deliver the solution. To single out the best ideas, we build simple prototypes and test these on the users. In this way, we will quickly discover which ideas meet the user's needs. The design process is an iterative process where we continuously improve products and services and where we are constantly trying to understand our users better. These loops of learning increase our chances of success. We call it design driven innovation.
In order to create a strong mechanics behond the educational game I was assigned the task to read academic papers in dutch and gather information about our users group ,young children who don’t know exactly wich direction they want to take for their future academic choices.I learned the different profile of each student The different player profile and how to design a concet that can apply to very different student with different interests.Discussion with Helena Mossel and Giovanni Sapienza to clrearly define the task and organize the next presentation for the pressure coocker ;links to the audio
OK, perfect. I totally agree with you. OK, so. Sub tasks are basically. A stepwise method. So like imagine, first you think about the concept, second you make prototype, third you try to prototype. Does it work? You try again concept. OK, so that that's how a sub task should look like. Yeah. But every profile has a different way of thinking. Yes. So maybe a maker is way more hands on. So they are the ones making it. Yes. OK. So what is interesting about it is that those subtext. Those subtests are connected between the different profiles, so even make your explorer social implementer. Doers. Innovators, Yeah, so they're connected in between. So you also think about need to think about, OK, which tasks maybe are connected to two profiles, then they would need to work together. One maybe. One task is connected to only one profile and then they they need to work, need to work individually. Maybe another profile can be working on the same time on on something else. You know that that is how it is made, but the idea is to make it easy and make it a stepwise. Stepwise game, so they can follow the steps and then later on they can come up at the end with the with the concept. OK, yeah. Do you get? Do you get it? But I just have the last question. Does does it? Does my research is going to be different from? Do we have a different task? Not yet. It doesn't matter, right? It shouldn't matter. So your test shouldn't be connected to specific specific general test, just connected to the area of her profile profile perfectly. OK, perfect. I totally agree with you.

Shortly after, the warm, clear sky gave way to incandescent rain from which he could not take shelter in time.

But then… someone appeared willing to save her.
Tumblr media
"How strange… What is this young woman doing here, in this rain, dressed like that?", the girl thought.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
"Excuse me, my lady, can I do something for you?" "No, there is nothing you can do. Thanks, girl" "With all due respect, I know you're not here for pleasure. Look at your clothes, you can't fool me, madame. You have fled from somewhere and I cannot allow a lady like you to freeze to death on this cold night"
Tumblr media
"Thank you, but I'm sure they will come for me shortly. I can't leave now" "Oh… is your husband waiting for you?" "Not exactly..."
Tumblr media
"Whoever you are waiting for, they will be able to greet you at dawn. I live near here with my mother and my brother, I'm sure none of them care if you spend the night with us, by a hot fire and a delicious soup. My mother is a good coocker" "I don´t know what to say..." "Please, my lady! I don't want to be an accomplice to your death", she laught and Evangeline, without being able to avoid it, smiled.

"I guess it's okay, girl… at dawn, then…"

we use almost the same recipe you can do it in the coocker but its going to taste a litle diferent if you dont fry it
Everyone loves my moms mexican rice and proclaim it the best they've ever had and I see a lot of recipes out there that are either too fussy or too bland so I'll just list the things my mom does that she says make it good
-you really truly do not need chicken bouillon/chicken broth. Plain water is fine, my mom started omitting the bouillon when I became vegetarian so I could eat it and literally no one knows the difference its fine
- you don't need cumin or cilantro you just need onion, garlic, salt and tomato sauce (or jarred tomatoes)
-FRY YOUR RICE!!! in oil!!! Fry until golden brown and nutty, DO NOT SKIP THIS STEP it adds flavor and deepens the color of the end product if you don't fry your rice in oil it looks pale and unappetizing
-blend your water, chopped onion, garlic cloves, and tomato sauce (or jarred tomatoes) add this liquid to the fried rice after you've drained the excess oil, cook like regular rice
You will now be the envy of all mexican mothers and taquerias 👍

i know we all collectively agreed that eddie works in a record store (basically canon at this point from the fics and everything else) BUT JUST HEAR ME OUT, what about eddie working as a waiter in a diner???
my headcanons for eddie (+ a bit of steddie):
- its a small diner, cute and very much stuck in the past when it comes to the decoration and benches covered in a flowered fabric
- not the trendy kind of diner that lures the kids theses days, rather the opsite most of the costumers are old folks that have been eating there their whole lives
- our boy eddie knows all the regulars (which are pretty much the only costumers) by name and always remembers their go-to orders
- so eddie thrives with costumer service being by far the worker who gets the most tips (not that there’s many other workers: andi the coocker in the back, a 40 years old man who never smiles but makes the best pancakes ever; annie the cashier, the owners niece-from-the-heart, who have the cutest twins ever; louise and greeg, who also wait tables and rotate shifts with eddie, both on their earlier twenties saving up for college)
- eddie doesn’t really need the money to be honest i mean, he is not swimming in cash but between gigs with the band and you know his uh… other business, he makes a good amount of money to live just fine. the thing is, eddie is a sucker for good people and the owners where his kind of good people
- everyone thinks they are just best friends but eddie knew the truth,  carol and elaine have been dating since they were in high school (about fourty years ago). they’ve hussled and build a life together, it wasn’t a life for everyone else to see but it was for themselves and that was just beautiful in eddie’s eyes
- the owners being outcasts themselves created a safe place for outcasts to work: andi was once seeing as whole different person, another name and everything and the change made it super hard for him to get jobs;  annie's folks kicked her out when she got pregnant with the twins at 18; louise and greeg had trouble at their respective homes too, you know with runaway dads, way too many siblings and mothers who drink
- and then there was eddie, the outcast of the outcasts. his parent’s kicked him out after rumors of him kissing anthony smith behind the school auditorium (you know, after his father beat shit out of him ofc), and eddie found himself with nowhere to go probably imagining no one would take him. after a few nights sleeping here and there he found the diner, walked in, sat in the cornor and asked for a coffee (cause it was the only thing he could afford). the owners noticed this troubled boy with bruises all over, gave him a plate of pancakes, a bed in the back, a job and time to figure shit out.
- his uncle found him a week after, taking him in with open arms (much to eddies surprise) but eddie could never shake away the feeling in his chest when elaine and carol looked at him dead in the eyes and said “you are safe with us kid”. he cried like a baby because he didn’t need to say anything for them to understand, just like they didn’t need to say anything for eddie to believe in them. they all just knew the whys.
- hence why, even though he doesn’t need to anymore eddie still walks to work in the diner with a big smile on his face
- that and also cause he was eddie, and he knew how hot he looked with the coffee pot in hands and the tiny-delicate apron tied around his waist
- and after everything went down, i guess steve harrigton thought the same too cause for some (not yet elaborated) reason it became his favorite place to grab pancakes for breakfast, a coffee during his break from family video, some burgers for dinner or any other thing really as long as it was during eddie's shifts
- “breakfast at carols?” he would ask robin, first thing as she walked inside his car for their early shift at family video. “again steve? its the third time this week, should i be worried about your sudden addiction to carbs?” steve'd answer as always “they have great coffee.” and robin just hms at him, knowing very damn well that was not the reason they’ve been going to the place more than anywhere else. “yeah, the fact that its served by a hairy dude with a great ass its just bonus.” “shut up robin or you will walk.”
- for obvious reasons (that were pretty elaborated to him already) eddie loved whenever steve came to the diner, never missing a chance to flirt with the guy (he loved to make the man blush like a school girl)
- “back already Harrington, missing me much?” he’d say, walking to their table. “in your dreams, Munson” steve would even try to avoid eye contact as the words left his mouth but those big brown eyes were like magnets pulling his soul. eddie’d chuck, dimples showing as a grin comes to surfaces served with hot coffee and a wink before he walks to another table, but not before saying: “oh you surely are, pretty boy… hi robs.”
- while steve blushes and watch eddie’s (indeed great) ass walk away, robin laughs looking at the menu “yeah, we sure come here just for the coffee.”
