Asher was ready to head out. He’d seen enough, heard enough. Mercifully nothing had occurred outside of the norm that would set him off. But then, the glimmer of a blonde haired woman caught his eye. Moving through the crowd, he saw the other move off into a less crowded area, following. There were a ton of things he wanted to say, a ton of things he wanted to know. But the words weren’t formulating in his head at this very moment. Watching for a second, he hoped and dared to believe that she wasn’t a figment of his imagination. And at the same time, with Ingrid just dropping back into his life, his sister reappearing… it probably couldn’t have been a worse time.

He wanted to step forward but his feet seemed frozen in place as he, usually beyond confident, couldn’t even get words to process out of his mouth. When they finally did, she wouldn’t be able to mistake who was standing behind her. “Really was mean as hell to leave without letting me cook you breakfast….. when did you come back?”

(TLDR I hate it)

It's honestly so disheartening to see Maisie have her own skin in a new environment and yet the post that promotes her skin still involves the awful characterization she got stuck with. Like why are Fang and Buster even at the jailhouse!!! What business do they have there!!!!

Like idk it's tiring to see those two in Maisie centric posts :/ don't get me wrong I LOVE them as a trio but they should all be allowed to shine separate from each other every once in a while (or at least depicted in a situation where it's not just "Maisie babysitting the bros")!!

Anyways in short Maisie doesn't deserve this treatment because then it'll only further fuel the fandom's disdain for her. She has potential yet Brawl Stars just. Wastes it and it's saddening

madam puddifoots tea shop was a must stop for melinda whenever she was in hogsmeade, her love for tea demanded it most times. the festivals hot chocolate was easily a second best situation for her, in comparison, but when you add the festival spirit and memories that come along with the beverage, it still was a must have as well. The ravenclaw took a sizable gulp of her hot chocolate just as her friend walked in, her hand shot up into the air. "maisie, over here!" melinda exclaimed, waving her over.

Just when Katrina thought she'd been getting over her break-up with Laurel, they'd run into each other at the New Year's Eve party, bringing all the emotions back to the surface, and setting Kat on edge all over again. Swimming in anxiety and self-doubt. She had so many questions, but didn't want the answer to any of them, sure that they would hurt her any more. So running into Maisie was certainly not on Katrina's list of things to do. She knew that Laurel and Maisie had --- something. And she didn't know how she felt about that. Jealous, hurt, embarrassed... All of the above mixed into something undesirable that made her throat tighten. misa had probably spent one valentine’s day with someone that she was somewhat involved with, others were consisted of ‘galentine’s’ or just regular days depending on her mood. this year that she was now spending this one with someone that meant so much to her, she had to go all out since that’s what deiji deserved. . only the best. she was busy during the day so she settled for a classic dinner date, reserving them a table at one of buffalo’s most popular restaurants. it was perfect and so cute, booking their table on the rooftop where they had a cozy inflatable bubble to dine in, private so they could just enjoy each other without any distractions. she made sure to set up a nice flower display in advance as well, some red roses as those seemed to suit the older girl perfectly. she had other presents as well but she decided those could wait for after dinner when they would inevitably spend the night together. but for now, misa’s smiling from ear to ear as she removed her hands from where they were covering deiji’s eyes as they stepped foot onto the rooftop where a few bubbles were scattered around, then hugging her from behind. “ta-da~” she sang, beaming up at her lover. “surprise, happy valentine’s day!” ➳ @fieldofdeisies​

i think both the music and film industries want her to be big so bad like she has talent ofc but she does not deserve to have 2 oscars with 22 years old and win a grammy every year. it seems to me that they want her to be big to make her the new biggest thing and again she’s be good without it but it’s very obvious to me at this point

i half agree with this. i think she’s definitely talented and does deserve the awards just like a lot of artists do. does that mean i don’t feel like others sometimes get snubbed so she can win? no, i do think that, but that’s also a natural part of award shows. everyone’s going to feel that way about someone

however, i agree with your broader point, which is that the industry wants her to be the next big thing and is trying to elevate her to that status when she isn’t there yet, mainly because she doesn’t have a big, committed fan base the way taylor and beyoncé do

"If I do you have to buy a delicious apple cider donut, which is really a win win situation. Did I mention they were homemade? But if I don't then you can name your price." Maisie had gotten the phrase your name tattooed on her right ankle. How she had gotten the tattoo comes back to her in flashes. Finals had finished and summer had officially begun, naturally it was time to celebrate In the morning she had woken up to a stinging ankle with a fresh tattoo. In the future she would probably cover it up with something else, but for now it was a funny story.

the background hum that the library supplied was the perfect setting for studying or working on assignments, not so much when it came to when one wanted to be thrown into a whole new world. that was what currently what she was doing, sitting cross legged on her bed in her dorm totally captivated by the book in her hands. she was sure she had been in the same position for at least an hour until she noticed someone in her peripheral and quickly lowered her book to see maisie at the door frame. "please tell me you haven't been standing there that long." an awkward smile lit her face as melinda asked her this.

WIP Wednesday

Thanks to @monbons and @rimeswithpurple for tagging me! I don't always do the WIP Wednesday posts but I've been writing a lot this week, so I kind of want to share!

I'm finally almost done writing the second chapter of my COBB fic, I only have one scene left to write. I told myself these chapters would be less than 5k, but the second one is nearly 7k now so whoops. Here's a tiny contextless snippet from that (convo between Fiona and Baz):

“Tell him that rats aren’t so bad. It’ll be bad enough if the Coven finds out I’m with any vampire, let alone one that’s not a vegetarian.”

I scoff. “Can’t be a vegetarian if you drink rat blood.”

“Tell that to the Cullens.”

I had half a mind after that comment to refuse to go on principle (Fiona knows I hate Twilight jokes), but I can’t shake the part of me that wants to ask Nico why.

You can blame (or thank) @m1ndwinder for the Twilight jokes, she's encouraging me. (Also for some reason this is exactly 6 sentences, when I hardly can find exactly 6 for Sundays.)

I'm also working steadily on editing more chapters for Proof of Life! Taking a break from posting so I can get a bit more of a backlog, so if you haven't started reading it, now's your chance! Snippet for this will be under the cut—not because it's spoilery, but because the impact isn't the same without the 37+ words leading up to it. (I should take a page from @monbons's book and forbid you from reading it but 🤷)

I’m halfway under the covers when I realise the window’s open. I reach for my wand and mutter a spell to close it. Snow stiffens when it bangs shut, but he doesn’t get up, simply lays down in his bed, pulling the covers over him.

Maybe he’s forgotten how to be mean to me too.

Exhaustion takes me over, and I sleep with dreams of Snow being nice to me and me being nice to him. 

In my dreams I call him Simon.

"good, that's kind of the point," she said in a rush, dragging the other towards the refreshments table. only once she had a drink in hand did she fully turn her attention towards melinda's ensemble for evening. "i'm not sure if you're a butterfly or a fairy, but you look stunnin' either way. lavender is definitely your color!"

HIGHKEY AGREE with maddie evans, that whole sequence is just amazing. i was FEELING it, that was some intense PHYSICAL ACTING for someone that young.

that’s probably how i’d rank them too? sophie and leo are for sure my one and two i’m just not sure about slot three. idk if we’re counting emily carrey, 17 is a baby but like, you don’t even need a permit to work at 17 lmao. that goes the same for the replacement tommen but he was Just Okay so he’s not in this convo anyway lol. everyone else is either like, Good But Not Number Three or a 20 year old playing a 15 year old (ty, millie, harry, jack) so this is ultimately (imo) a contest between bella ramsay, maisie williams, and isaac hempstead wright. bella is amazing but their acting specifically as lyanna is imo not better than isaac or maisie. i think isaac had a harder job than maisie which is probably why i’d put him above her but i haven’t rewatched a season that isn’t 1, 2, or 6 in awhile so i don’t have a hard opinion there.

Hmmmm, I feel like ive done this tag game before bcs I remember writing this exact answer. But usually I notice if someone is a good conversationalist or not. Like do they like to lead the convo, do they like to listen to the other people, do they talk too much, too little, are they awkward about it? It's just very interesting to me, bcs I think that kinda thing really does instantly show you if you're going to be compatible with a person(as a friend or more etc.) Cause I talk a lot a lot, and I think it's difficult to get along w people who are untalkative but also people who talk an equal amnt if not more djkfkglg.

Mostly drawing! I draw both F1 fanart(pretty much all selfmade AUs tho) and ocs. I like writing lore and worldbuilding and meta, but not really writing itself. I like reading fic and watching movies as well. And I think one of the main things I do these days tbh is read about history and keep up with politics. I get more and more involved with it as the days go by, but unlike drawing, I don't really have an outlet for it sigh sigh. So that's why a lot of AUs involve history and random other things, bcs its fun to involve my interests with each other!

Yes I do! Two cats and two dogs. The cats are named Jin and Frank. Jin is basically me in cat form, he's so anxious 😭 and Frank is like my brother, he's such a little bastard who loves to hiss all the time. My dogs are named Maisie and Ruby. Dream job?

Asher gave her a hum as she gave him confirmation, pressing a kiss to the inside of her hip before he leaned back, hooking his fingers into her belt loops and tugging them down. He took his time, eyes not missing a single detail before he dropped her jeans beside them onto the floor and moved to hover over her. Forehead leaned onto hers as he let a hand dance down her waist to the back of her thigh, aiming to coax her into hooking it over his waist. “I’ve got half a mind to take this upstairs.” He teased with an easy smile.

“And the very good news is if I perform below expectation in any regard, it’s big enough to boot me to the other side.” His lips caught hers lightly, skimming them to see if she’d chase him. “Just do me a solid on this one…..” a hand slid up to find hers before he bared himself just a little more. “If you run on me come morning, leave me a way to find you again. Well shit. If Asher’s mind had gone anywhere, it hadn’t headed here. Not in a million years did he think she’d be here with her shirt off in his lap. As her forehead rested against his, he chuckled to himself. “You’re gonna be the death of me. Sitting here, with a smile like that, as fucking pretty as you are… Mais, you really gotta start being mean to me.” He told her, mesmerized by every inch of new skin exposed to him. Hands traced and touched with reverence before he moved to settle her with on her back against the cushions.

Asher dared, then, to kiss from her lips and head down, taking the time to appreciate every bit of her that was open to him. He hadn’t needed a drink that night, he was sure to end up getting drunk off her before the night was over. His lips pause above the waistband of her jeans before he stopped and looked up at her. “May I?” He asked, fingertips toying with the button.
