they need to get rid of the stupid chapter system where you play as a character and have like 4-5 fights of beating up the same rotation of characters half of which get like 2 minutes of screen time anyways and then maybe the story would be a little more bearable

#considering chapter 1 of mk1 we played as kung lao we probably just won’t get to play as him again and he’ll be written off as a joke #the chapter system also just limits the ability to write the characters into the story in a way that matters #noob saibot in mk11 is the most obvious example he was on screen for 5 seconds and then came back for 5 more seconds in aftermath #they need to stop being so focused on making mortal kombat look like a movie and focus on the actual story and characters #graphics are great that’s so cool you wanna show it off why don’t you show off your ability to write stories why can’t you do that #talking;
