caleb shook his head at her words, “i didn’t say that. it’s cute, suits ya” he shoots the other a grin. a chuckle leaves his lips, “definitely and we’re going all out tonight, promise” he had a lot of things planned for the evening, which was rare for caleb. he normally just turned up at bar and let the night take him wherever it wanted but he wanted to make things special for the other. “that’s a whole lotta trust” he pauses to take a sip of his first pint of the night, “i got it. you don’t need to worry though, i’ve got a lot of fun things planned” he carries on, “how do you feel about ball pits?”. 

          She couldn’t quite help it, a girlish laugh flowing out that contradicted her brand new age. “Cute, yeah? That’s sweet, me and my birthday streamers or whatever you call it thank you. They are kinda lush, aye?” Oh, her accent was in full swing right then, the Scottish just coming out. His words sound hopeful, definitely in mind to make the most out of tonight. You get closer to the grave only once a year, right? Might as well do it with a bang. Faye gave a nod, “Whole lotta trust,” she repeated, “So best not squander it, ‘cause once again, I’d be very cross.” For the most part, she trusted Caleb, though. She never knew him as the sort to plan things, which was the only thing that made her a wee bit nervous, but also a bit intrigued on what he’d throw at her. Taking another sip, this one a bit deeper than the previous one, her lips spread a bit, brows raised. “Ball pits? ...might be a bit of trouble with my dress, though, haven’t been in one of those in ages. So, I dunno... Tell me more? You got my attention.”

“nice to meet you i’m kurt. interesting first name ya got there” she grins at him, dylan notices his accent almost straight away, he wasn’t from around here, just like her. she laughs, “oh. don’t worry ‘bout it” dylan shrugs, “we all get a little tounge tied sometimes”. her fingers drum on the bar counter top, she looks at him, he was cute, she couldn’t place his accent though. dylan feigns a pout at his words, “suppose? sounds like i need to make a better impression, should we start again?” she shakes her head at his words, “i’m not waiting for anyone actually. i’m just out, exploring somewhere new”. 

          Well, she wasn’t going away. And despite the abruptness of her arrival, he found himself amused by her. “Mine often gets tied more often than not, I’m afraid. If I was an actor, I’d no doubt be the new Hugh Grant, if there ever could be such a thing.” Not that he was a fan, but, it still stood. “I dunno, are bumbling English men still the rage?” Aaand there it was, that suppose biting him square in the arse.”I... Yeah, that was.... I’m sorry, I didn’t mean that, I’m not usually...approached while I’m drinking myself into a stupor, but if you’d like to try again...” Though he wouldn’t see why, he was just all charm tonight, wasn’t he? He was surprised to hear she wasn’t waiting or meeting someone, that she simply wanted to explore. “I see,” he commented, picking up his drink of scotch and taking a generous sip. “Well, if you’re hoping to find something new and exciting...” He looked around them toward the half drunk patrons and gave a gesturing wave, “...this is about it. I’d say we’re the only relatively sober people here, save for the bartender. I don’t suppose you would let me buy you a drink to make up for....well, me?”

hey there! i'm corrie and you may recognize me from @consciousclubs, i left the indie world last year, when my personal life got a bit difficult. thankfully i'm in a much better place now, mostly because i no longer work in retail woohoo!! anyway, i thought i'd dip my toes back into the world of indie rp, because i've missed it. this blog is a big work in progress, but i'm super excited to start writing again!! xo

How long has it been now, well over a decade since the two of them had started the back-and-forth, a seemingly endless competition budding between them? Never mind that the two of them, in a rare drunken instance, had vowed to marry each other in the event that their dating adventures not work out before they turned thirty-five, and the clock is ticking.

                                    he’s been waiting at her place. for way longer than he would have liked. it’s been getting late and he’s been getting worried. when he finally hears the door rattle and open, lucas gets up from the couch. hands resting on his hips like a mom about to scold a child who was coming home past curfew. “ where have you been  ?  what the hell happened  ?  i’ve been trying to call you for hours. ”

With moving comes the process of hitting new places in one's new neighborhood. Alexander entered the gym with the confidence of someone who knew exactly what they were doing for that hour and a half. He considered himself somewhat of a gym rat. So, to begin his routine in that new place, the man looked at each available machine; however, his gaze stopped halfway through, focusing on a brunette helping someone else with one of the machines. Usually, he avoided looking at anyone for more than ten seconds in the gym; he didn't want to look like one of those creepy men who only went there to stare at women. But with this brunette, he couldn't look away for too long.

Trying to forget all that, he approached the only free treadmill, trying to start his workout, but for some reason, that particular machine wouldn't turn on. Inevitably he cracked a smile - the universe must've been messing with him. He looked around, looking for some indication of what to do, only to notice that the woman was now looking at him, and for some reason, she was walking towards him, which only made him more confused. "Am I looking at my new hero or...?" He joked once the woman reached him.

[ REUNITED ] : sender and receiver are reunited at after some time apart. jumping into the other’s arms in a warm embrace, the idea of a kiss is there but does it come to fruition ? (joel x adiya) !!

with the world opening back up again post lockdown, joel had very little time to spend with himself let alone anyone else. it had put a strain on his and adiya’s situationship and at one point he wasn’t even answering her calls when he did have the time. but eventually the time came where he was back in their city - a few texts back and forth before they set up her meeting him at the airport and picking him up for the weekend. when she was in his arms it felt natural to kiss her but he stopped, unsure if he was deserving of it. “hello beautiful.” his arms around her waist tightened, holding her close.
