Lainey: well, i have some connections, i might can get you something if you're willing to have me do that i just think you're gonna end up with some knockoff & that would be just awful. Lainey: i'm sure people would be knocking others out of the way to get to 'Lainey Wilson's tell-all book of her drunken adventures" the title sells itself Lainey: i'll gladly accept it as long as i know you had a great time.
sam: now i'm off to find a place that actually makes it. any suggestions? bonus points if it's in LA or sydney since those seem to be the only two places i frequent. sam: bet it would be a best seller. everyone loves a good celeb tell all book, even if the tell all is just about their drunk adventures. sam: it's on my list now, promise. good because there's nobody else i'm pointing the finger at.

Lainey: haha! right! it would disappoint me too! Lainey: i feel like if i didn't eat the floor i would just be really callin' my friends & family liars because they say i'm clumsy. i'd hate to make them look like total liars. so eatin' the floor every now & again is always a great thing. Lainey: well, they're is just a mish mash of all kinds of stuff. a little bit of country, little bit of rock, some pop music. i like a little bit of everything. what would you have on your shower playlist if you had one? i think everyone should have a shower playlist.
charlie: as you should. if you didn't try and pull off that iconic move then i'd be very disappointed. charlie: what's a good floor glide without eating the floor a few times? as long as you got right back up before the song ended that's all that matters. what else is on your naked shower playlist?

Lainey: well, my parents did but from a young age i had my heart set on what i wanted to do as a career so i started workin' on that when i was young. that was my main focus. i had friends, yeah, but i kept to myself a lot when i was a kid. Lainey: i think people would be surprised by the amount of artists & music i listen to. especially growin' up. it wasn't all country all the time, i've listened to all kinds of music! i've got more than just country that i enjoy.
miles: i think anything less than 2,000 people definitely counts as a very small town. you must've known nearly everyone in town when you lived there. did you get a real culture shock when you moved away? miles: shania is a solid choice. i don't think she's ever made a bad song and hers are just impossibly catchy too. you sing david bowie too? i'm very impressed, he has some real bangers.

Lainey: oh what?! that is so awesome! really it's been mostly about the music ever since i was little i've always dreamed of being on stage & being just like all the greats at the Opry. that's what i always dreamed. but getting to be on Yellowstone was a great time! i loved every minute of it. really wish i had gotten to live out Abby a little bit longer, i absolutely enjoyed every minute of it. Lainey: i think my commitment to music is top priority right now but if i had an opportunity to get back on the screen i'd do it in a heartbeat as long as i could balance my music with it. Lainey: now enough about me. let's talk about you & your surfing enthusiasm! i have never been surfing in my entire life & now you've got me curious. is it really that awesome? also an irrational fear about forgetting your keys? did you have a habit of leaving them at home as a kid or something?

andrew: hey, the timing of you swiping right on me couldn't really be any better. andrew: i finished watching yellowstone season 5 during my christmas break and i thought you were just wonderful in it. have you always wanted to try acting as well? andrew: do you think you'll do more now or are you happy to concentrate on your music? / @wilson-laineyd

Lainey: ooo girl you are totally talkin' my language! i'm a huge fan of yours as well & i hope that we could possibly make that happen!
Lainey: not gonna lie to you, New Rules has always & will always be a great song for me. ex boyfriends & all that shit. i think it's just a right of passage for women to have that one man that we just can't seem to shake. maybe it's just me though 😂
Lainey: that is such a compliment coming from you, you've got some mighty nice pipes yourself there, sweetheart! thank you for making my week! it's been great so far. i wish i could've made it up to that New Years Eve party i've been hearing everyone talk about but i think being at home was the best way to bring in 2025! what about you? did you go? was it fun?

dua: the way i got very excited to see you swiping right on me. dua: partly i'm hoping this will lead us to a collab down the road as well - i'm obsessed with your voice and your entire vibe. dua: thank you for making my week, love. how was your new years? / @wilson-laineyd

Lainey: if it's made right it'll be the only alcoholic beverage that you'll want to drink. it's awesome. Lainey: oh gosh, too many to tell. i should probably write a book someday. the adventures of drunk Lainey in her late teens to twenties. Lainey: it would be a great thing for you to try. i highly recommend everyone tries good moonshine before they die. it's a bucket list thing that everyone should try before they die. i'll gladly accept the blame for them knowing that you'll have a great time & enjoy yourself.
sam: lemonade moonshine sounds like the greatest invention ever. i'm a pretty big fan of lemonade to begin with though tbh so it would take the number one spot for me no matter what. sam: sounds like you've got quite a few drinking stories. mixing drinks is always dangerous -- are you going to end up having fun or end up in the bushes?? you never know. sam: adding authentic moonshine to my list of things to try! will also be blaming any future hangovers on you, thank you.

Lainey: not at all! i won't deny i have made a few Tom Cruise type glides across my floor with my bare wet feet a few times when that was the song that happened to be on when i got out. Lainey: i won't lie & say that the end result of said glides across my floor might've ended in a few instances of busting my ass but if that song is playin' & you don't at least attempt the slide, are you really human at all? haha
charlie: all very good song choices. i feel you can't go wrong with any of them, although old time rock & roll is forever a classic. i definitely need to add that to my naked dance party playlist.

Lainey: it's not something that people would just casually drink in a normal setting. but i have heard it's good. Lainey: oh all kinds! i've had regular moonshine. i've had lemonade moonshine. i highly recommend that one! because it is great. although one thing i don't recommend is trying to drink it with anything else. like, drink plenty of water but don't mix that shit with other alcohols. you'll regret it in the morning. i learned the hard way.. like. worst hangover ever. i am pretty sure i saw Jesus that morning after puking up my guts. 😂 Lainey: i definitely recommend the lemonade moonshine but i've also had some good apple pie moonshine. really if you get the opportunity to have moonshine. like real moonshine! none of that liquor store fake shit. any of the real shit is great! it's a real religious experience if you've never had one.
sam: in all fairness, watermelon moonshine doesn't sound like a typical drink so that's why i went for it. sam: what types have you tried before? i'm alllll for a cold drink after work but not entirely sure i've tried moonshine before so might have to change that.

Lainey: my go-to song? oooh that's a tough one. normally it's just whatever is playing on my 'shower' playlist when i get out but it could be anywhere from Donna Summer's Last Dance to Old Time Rock & Roll all the way to Shania Twain's Man! I Feel Like A Woman. Lainey: that playlist is all over the place! 😂 but they're all jams!
charlie: i'm pretty intrigued with that little guilty pleasure of yours. charlie: what is your 'go to' song choice for this naked dance party?

Lainey: y'know, so many people are good at these things! either that or my lie really just isn't that good! Lainey: you're one hundred percent right. damn! i was hoping that people would at least think it was one of the other two. Lainey: but i have had other moonshine before. like, it's just watermelon that i haven't tried.

sam: i'm a little obsessed with doing these 2 truths and a lie prompts. sam: my guess is that the lie is ... you've never tried watermelon moonshine before? sam: am i right? @wilson-laineyd

Lainey: it is! i mean the town is pretty small. i think there are more than 250 people there but it just seemed really small growing up. Lainey: oh gosh, that's actually a great question that i have never been asked before! i really like jamming out to Shania Twain, y'know like "Whose Bed Have Your Boots Been Under?" & "Any Man Of Mine" i'm really a big fan of "Man! I Feel Like A Woman" but sometimes i'll get down to some David Bowie. it really just depends on what kind of mood i'm in.

miles: i was looking at your profile and i hope the louisina part is one of the truth. i have a real love and fondness of the state, been many times and there's always something new to do and see. plus my sweet tooth craves genuine, new orleans beignets. no imitators hit the spot as nicely. miles: also what songs are you singing while you butt naked? / @wilson-laineyd
