Welcome Home (Part One)
Tumblr media
(NOT MY GIF)
Summary: After not speaking to her brothers for over a year, Peyton Rhodes’ life is turned upside down when her boyfriend of four years cheats on her. She uproots her life with WWE and returns home to Atlanta. She finds herself among great friends and she is finding herself again after being lost for so long.
WORD COUNT: 2,624 (well shit).
Pairings: Cody Rhodes x OFC (Sister), Brandi Rhodes x OFC (sister), Dustin Rhodes x OFC (Sister), past Seth Rollins x OFC, future Kenny Omega x OFC (maybe?), MJFx OFC( maybe?) Could end up being Matt Jackson x OFC (who knows) let the writing gods surprise us.
WARNINGS: explicit language, mentioned cheating, possible future smut (Warnings are subject to change as I continue writing and will be updated as needed).
A/N: This has been a WIP for over a year now. This will be multiple parts. It will be a slow burn. (MAYBE) I’m a sucker for the friends to lovers trope. Please do not think that this reflects my feels toward a certain wrestler (Seth). This story is strictly fiction. I do not own any of the characters except for my OFC(s). Please, please, please, give me feedback. I’m slowly working myself back into the fanfic world. <3
“Cody was right.” I cried as soon as my brother’s wife answered the phone. I hadn’t spoken to my brothers since they left WWE. Cody was upset that I wouldn’t leave with him. Brandi was my way of communication with them. She’d call at least twice a week. This week was different.
“I caught him. I went to congratulate him after his win over Finn and they were,” I sniffled, hurt coming over me again. “It was Mandy. I thought she was my friend.” I explained to my sister in law.
“Pey, I am so sorry. Please come home. You know AEW has a spot for you whenever you want it.” Brandi offered. It was the same thing she said to me every week, but now I’m ready.
“I just don’t know why.” I cried. “I was the perfect girlfriend. I basically put my career on hold for him. I thought he was, I thought he was it for me.” Brandi had said that they were going to be home for Cody’s birthday in a few weeks and invited me to come to the party.
“I’ll talk to Hunter.” I choked out.
Luckily, my contract was almost up and as soon as Vince heard I didn’t want to re-sign, he settled for my release. We didn’t have the best relationship, but Hunter advocated for me stating that it was best for the company as well as myself. He knew the situation and didn’t blame me for wanting to go.
I knew I had to go back one day. I just never thought it would be this soon. I parked my car in the drive. I could hear Pharaoh announcing my arrival before I could make it to the door. I made my way up the sidewalk to the porch. I took a deep breath and knocked.
Brandi opened the door immediately. “Well I'll be damned.” She said, “I can’t believe you came!” I smiled, embracing my brother’s wife.
“Like I would miss my big brother’s 35th birthday.” I lied and she knew it. If Seth hadn’t cheated on me, I wouldn’t be here.
Brandi led me inside where there were some guests who had gathered in the foyer. Brandi introduced me quickly, leading me through to Cody. “Hey, babe. Your surprise is here.” Cody, who was standing by the fireplace, talking to Dustin, turned and saw me.
Awkwardly, I raised a hand to wave. “Hi.” I whispered. Cody sat down his drink and walked over to me. I expected him to cuss and yell, but instead, he threw his arms around me, hugging me tightly.
“Peyton, I'm so happy you’re here.” He whispered. Dustin came up behind him.
“Long time, no see sis. You know, they invented this thing called a phone. You should look into it. Call your big brothers sometime.” Dustin fussed before hugging me too.
“It is really good to see you guys.” I tried to hold back the tears, but some escaped anyway. “How have you been? AEW has really taken off huh?” I said making small talk.
Cody nodded, “Yeah, I have the best business partners. I can’t wait for you to meet them.” Looking at my brother, he was truly happy. WWE had given him a few more stress lines, but seeing him now, you couldn’t tell.
He grabbed my hand, pulling me to follow him. He led me to Matt and Nick Jackson, standing with Kenny Omega and Adam Page. “Guys! Guys! Look who decided to show her face.” Cody beamed, smiling big. The four guys waved.
“Finally! We get to meet the prodigal sister.” Kenny Omega spoke first.
“Peyton, these are the guys.” Cody pointed to each of them. “Matt. Nick. Kenny. Adam.”
“Nice to meet y’all finally. I watch your show every week. You are all very talented.” They all mumbled a “thank you” in tandem.
The rest of the evening went by smoothly. We all sat and talked. Getting to know The Elite was amazing. It was almost as if I hadn’t been AWOL for a year and a half.  When the party was over, I was helping Brandi clean up.
“Pey, you don’t have to help. You’re a guest.” She said, grabbing the glasses from my hands. I shook my head.
“I’m family. And family helps.” I smiled, taking the glasses back and continued to the kitchen. Cody walked in behind me with plates.
“Hey,” he started, “Thank you for coming.” He finished, placing the plates in the dishwasher. I added my glasses.
“I’m sorry.” I blurted out, turning to face him. Cody looked at me, confused. “I should have left with you. You were right about that place. My career, my relationship, everything, became a shitshow after you left.” tears began to fall.
“Pey, it’s okay. I’m just happy you’re here now.” Cody wiped the tears away.
“Code. I lost my title. Seth cheated on me, and I barely got any TV time.” Cody scoffed. He never liked Seth.
“He cheated on you?” Cody growled, and paced around the room.
I nodded, “I caught him. I went to congratulate him after his win one night and they were,” I sniffled, explaining to Cody. “I don’t know why.” I cried. “And then I lost my title, and then stopped getting TV time, unless I was on Seth’s arm.” I darted my eyes to the ground. “We still had to work together. After everything, I had to pretend like we were the perfect couple, until my last appearance.” Cody pulled me into a tight hug.
“I pissed a lot of people off with the way I left. I’m so sorry that affected you.” he whispered into my hair, like it was his fault.
“I don’t blame you, Code. I was granted my release.” I mumbled into his chest. He pulled back.
“What?” His eyes were wide.
“I asked for my release and Hunter pushed it through. I’ll be a free agent in 90 days” I explained. Cody smiled like a Cheshire cat.
“Babe! Dustin! Get in here!” Cody yelled, startling me. The both of them came running, looking for an emergency, but they only saw Cody pouring champagne for a toast. Confused looks covered their faces.
Cody gave everyone a flute and started a toast. “To our baby sister, the newest AEW superstar.” Brandi squealed and hugged me tight. The guys joined in.
I was finally home.
Tumblr media
It was hard, walking away from my life in WWE; However, finding my place within the Elite was easy. Especially with Kenny Omega. He quickly became one of my closest friends. The next 3 months were the best of my life. The break from wrestling gave my body and my heart time to heal. Everyone did their best to hide that I was coming to AEW, even leaving fake trails that I was going back to NJPW.
After working out the details of my contract, I was officially signed with AEW. Cody wanted me to make a surprise entrance, interrupt one of his segments. Creative loved the idea of brother and sister reuniting, but they wanted to make it interesting. When my debut date came, I couldn’t have been any more nervous.
Sitting in catering, I was alone, lost in thought, picking at my food. It had been a long journey here, but they made it. AEW came to life and it was thriving. Double or nothing had passed, and that meant tonight was Dynamite.
“Guess who?” Someone had snuck up on me, covering my eyes. I smiled because I knew exactly who it was.
“Hmm, Prince Charming?” I guessed quickly. Kenny placed a sloppy kiss to my cheek.
“Close, but better.” He said uncovering my eyes. “Hey, princess. Just thought I’d come save you from your thoughts. What’s going on in that head of yours right now?” he asked, knowing I’ll tell him, taking the seat next to me.
I sighed, rubbing my face. “I was thinking about my journey, how I got here.” Kenny nodded, but didn’t say anything. “I was thinking about how I get to see Jon again, since leaving WWE, and I was thinking about Seth.” I finally spit it out. Seth, his name leaving a bad taste in my mouth.
“I knew something was bothering you. Talk to me, doll.”
“I was scrolling through Insta earlier. He’s engaged. I know I shouldn’t care, but I do. Not because I still have feelings for him, but because she is, was, my friend, and I don’t want him to do to her what he did to me.” I explained to him.
“That’s understandable, Pey, but people gotta make their own mistakes. Mandy knows what he did to you and she still said yes, so that’s on her.” Kenny said, ever the voice of reason.
I nodded in agreement with him, knowing he was right. I needed to focus on my new path, my new future.
“Peyton!” Cody called from a distance, Brandi following him. It was time.
Cody stood, center ring, proudly. He had won the TNT title at Double or Nothing. He went on about how he was issuing an open challenge every Wednesday.
I stood nervously behind the curtain, waiting for my cue. I was about to make my debut. My life has been a little crazy since I left WWE behind, but definitely for the better.
As an avid Fall Out Boy fan, I had struck a deal to have my favorite song as my entrance music. I had been using it for most of my career. The music hit, the crowd went crazy. “Holy Hell, that music can only mean one person. The sister of the American Nightmare. That’s Peyton Rhodes!” JR yelled into his mic as I strolled down the ramp, ignoring the crowd. “Peyton” chants filled the arena as I made my way to the squared circle.
“Peyton Rhodes has joined  AEW and the crowd couldn’t be happier,” Excalibur added. I walked around the ring to the time keeper, grabbing a mic from Justin, and strolled on toward the ring.
The music cut, and Cody was first to speak. "Oh yeah. I guess we didn't announce this but Peyton Rhodes is AEW!" The crowd screamed at Cody's news, chanting "AEW".
I soaked in the cheers because I knew it was all about to change. I had been a face for most of my pro-wrestling career, and now I finally get to pursue the heel turn my fans had been begging for. I took in a deep breath and adjusted my leather jacket.
“Oh, Atlanta, shut the hell up!” I groaned into the mic. I revelled in the audible gasp that could be heard. “That’s right. No more sweet ‘Georgia peach’ Peyton Rhodes. I came to AEW to raise hell, and that’s what I’m going to do.” I wandered around the ring, stopping in front of a camera. “I’m sick and tired of wanting your approval. I’m here to get what I want. And I want it all.” I punctuated as I looked dead into the camera.
“Hear that big brother,” I turned and faced Cody, “Hell just arrived in AEW I hope you’re ready.” I gestured to the crowd, “I hope you’re all ready, because if you thought Cody was a nightmare, wait til you see me, the Dream Killer.” I dropped the mic, and rolled out of the ring. The crowd loved it. “Dream Killer” chants echoed in my ears all the way backstage.
I was greeted by Dustin, Brandi, and Kenny. “That was perfect, Pey, they loved it.” Kenny said as soon as I was in sight. I grinned, running up to him, jumping into his arms for a hug.
“The crowd loved you. They’ve been hoping for this heel turn since your WWE debut.” Cody said, smiling from ear to ear as he returned to the back after finishing his promo.
“For real, Pey! You pull off the ‘heel’ thing. I can’t wait to work on your wardrobe!” Brandi squealed, embracing me in a dancing hug. “Just think about the shoes, Pey, the shoes.” Brandi was way more excited about the outfits than the actual turn. She had helped me pick the one I was wearing. Black jean shorts, a front-zip black and white crop top, leather jacket, and black boots.
“I can’t wait to see where this takes me.” I said before we were joined by the rest of The Elite.
Nick was the first to speak. “Not bad, Rhodes. You might be a better heel than your brother here.” He elbowed Cody in the ribs.
Matt nodded in agreement, “For real Peyton, the crowd was so hyped for that turn.” He said with a soft smile, bringing me in for a quick hug.
I turned to face everyone. “Thanks guys. All of you. You gave me this chance.” I thanked them, “I promise I won’t let you down.”
“You’re a great addition to the AEW family.” Adam complimented, “Come on Ken, we got a match to get ready for.” he said before walking away. Kenny gave me one last hug before following him.
Cody and Brandi also parted as she had a segment coming up, leaving me with the Young Bucks. “Come on, Pey, lets celebrate!” We had walked back to catering where some more of the AEW stars were waiting. In the back, I spotted the one person I couldn’t wait to see again. I told The Bucks I’d catch up with them.
“Jon!” I screamed, almost running to him. When he saw me rushing toward him, he opened his arms, inviting me in for a hug. Hugging him was a blast from the past.
“Peyton fucking Rhodes. I heard rumors you were coming. Sweetheart, you knocked them dead.” He spoke into my hair. I gave him one more tight squeeze before pulling away. “Well, you look great.” He said, gesturing to my outfit.
“I’m heel now. Finally.” I boasted. I’ve been waiting for this for the longest time and no one was taking it away from me. Jon and I talked, catching up. I asked about Renee and he lit up. He was happy and that’s all I wanted for him. He was finally able to be the fighting champion everyone knew he could be.
“What about Seth? What happened? The last time I spoke to him, he said you guys were happy and he had bought a ring.” Jon asked, and it knocked the breath out of me. I knew he would ask, but I wasn’t expecting him to mention a ring.
“He cheated on me. With Mandy. They’re engaged now.” I said without choking up, which was a good sign. I could see the disappointment well up in Jon’s eyes.
“You were always too good for him.” I knew he and Seth were still good friends, but I appreciated the words nonetheless. Jon gave me one last hug before he got called away for his match, leaving me alone in catering again.
I found a table close to a TV so I could watch the end of Kenny and Adam’s match. They were well on their way to becoming tag team champions. I started thinking about what Jon had said about Seth, about him buying a ring. I couldn’t believe it. He was going to ask me to marry him and I would have said yes, had I not found him with Mandy. I was pulled from my thoughts by my phone vibrating. It was Seth.
I saw your debut.
You look good.
You’re gonna be a great heel.
I miss you.
I wish you would talk to me and let me explain.
I read and reread the messages a hundred times before replying.
Okay, Seth. When and where?

Far Cry 5 + ND : how the characters react to a relationship between Jess Black and the Judge.
This was requested by @lotus063 and it was really precise so I hope this is what you were expecting... :3
Tumblr media
Kim Rye
When Jess came back, Kim was glad.
Even more so when Jess and the Deputy (aka the Judge) reunited.
They slowly got closer and closer and Kim was happy to see Jess this happy.
When she learned that they were engaged, she was shocked.
She never saw Jess Black as the commitment type of girl...!
But she was happy to see all this love in the new world, promise of hope.
Nick Rye
He was also happy to see Jess.
And a skilled huntress like her was a great addition to Prosperity !!
But he never noticed the relationship forming between her and the Judge.
Nick can be pretty oblivious lol.
So, of course, his lovely wife had to get him up to speed.
“WAIT WHAT ?? THEY GOT ENGAGED ? WHERE WAS I ??”
He’s so incredulous.
He runs out of the room, looking for the the Judge and Jess, eager to congratulate them.
He helps them put together a small wedding ceremony (because Nick totally loves marriage, like... REALLY).
Sharky
He’s not really friend with Jess so her arrival doesn’t change anything for him.
But he’s surely friends with the former Deputy, aka the Judge !!!
At first, he’s a bit bummed that his best friend is spending more and more time with someone else.
But when they get engaged, his jealousy just disappears and he’s nothing but happy for them.
He ask them if he can be a part of the wedding ; groomsman, flower boy, bridesmaid, ANYTHING.
Hurk Jr.
He likes Jess even if it doesn’t look like she likes him back.
She’s badass and he understands why the Judge (aka Dep) hangs out with her because they’re both awesome.
But he didn’t see their engagement coming and it’s a shock when Sharky tells him about it.
“Man, they’re gonna be the most badass couple of all Hope County !! I mean, of course Nick and Kim are awesome... But Jess and the Judge ?? Heck, even their names are badass !”
He asks them to be Blade’s godparents.
Okay this was really weird to write because it’s so precise but I hope you like it ! :3

The ninth period of Dancing with the Stars aired final night and it is bigger than at any time (actually). With 16 contestants, the producers the initial week's competition into two parts: the men and the women. Initial up: the men. 'Dancing With The Stars' premieres September 21, and whilst fans are thrilled to see their favorite dancers paired up with celebs like visit this site and Joanna Krupa, it will also be the first time that Maks and Karina appear together publish-break up. That's right, the dance is over for them as they have damaged off their engagement.

Dancing with the Stars Drop 2009 7 days 1 arrived to a last near with the elimination of a 2nd few. Len called the 3 couples nonetheless awaiting their fates "a great bouquet", which I thought was corny but nonetheless sweet. Kelly Osbourne and Louie van Amstel had been proclaimed safe, leaving Kathy Eire and Macy Grey to duke it out. After that terrible songs and waiting around, Macy and companion Jonathan Roberts were eliminated from DWTS season 9. Sigh. Ok, that's good.
Aaron Carter Brother
Co-hosts Tom Bergeron and Samantha opened the hour of the initial Dancing with the Stars drop 2009 outcomes show by turning to head decide Len Goodman and requesting the judges' pick for the encore dance. Final night's shock sleek swan of the ballroom Kelly Osbourne and Louie van Amstel delighted the crowd with their Viennese Waltz as soon as again. I'm nonetheless so amazed with Kelly. I had, fairly actually, almost no expectations for Kelly Osbourne on DWTS season nine. I thought she'd suck and I felt badly for bad Louie. But she's incredible and was amazing yet again tonight.
Tumblr media
He's most likely one of the more promising celebs on this period of "Dancing With the Stars," but he still has a methods to go prior to he's heading to reach ballroom royalty. His performance was fun, energetic, but a small sloppy and rigid. He nonetheless scored a greater-than anticipated 22, which places him in a great place early on. He also obtained a 10 from the group waltz, making him the top performer for the night. In a darkish eco-friendly fit with a white shirt and a foam eco-friendly tie, Carter danced with Smirnoff who wore a foam eco-friendly gown to "Three Occasions a Lady" by the Commodores.

Next week it's all about men compared to ladies on DWTS season nine: No more of this pansy women compared to women and males compared to males things. Keep in mind to catch subsequent week's round of the competition on Monday night at eight PM Eastern/Pacific on ABC. Or just verify in with me. You know I'll be watching! Donny Osmond is an entertainer and he's made this season very entertaining--on and off phase. The kiss with decide Bruno Tonioli was surprise that Tonioli and Osmond continue to play on. Yet Osmond is a competitor and he took the criticism to coronary heart, making certain his moves were sharp. Final night, throughout his Argentine tango, it payed off. He scored a 29--two tens and a nine (from Len Goodman). The night finished with Melissa and Mark tied for first location with Mya and Dmitry. The scores were flip flopped all over the location. Followers and judges had been shocked when look what i found and his companion Karina Smirnoff landed themselves in the base two. But in the end, it was fan favorite Chuck Liddell who recieved the most affordable combined judges and enthusiast votes. Chuck danced his final dance to the Texas Two Step.

Aaron Carter Health
Snowboarder Louie's smile on the dance floor seemed like the ultimate illustration of deer in headlights: he danced like a truck was about aaron carter today to hit him. Louie received some fairly significant praise from the judges, even if he did get known as a "little dancing hobbit" by Bruno. I guess Louie can dance all the way to The Shire with a rating of 19, and with a very fantastic impression on the group salsa. It began, curiously sufficient, when entertainer Donny Osmond's son Don Jr. "tweeted" congratulations to his Father, noting that "You and Kym [Johnson] are heading to get this season. You've received my vote each week! Love ya!" Oops.

Aaron Carter 2018
Donny Osmond was a hit! His sister Marie was on back in period five of "Dancing With the Stars," and she made it all the way to the final three despite being one of the weaker performers. Talent-wise he's most likely stronger than Marie, and he has a great ability to perform the crowd. He finished his foxtrot with a 20. During the team salsa, he was also easily declared the winner. "Ghostbusters" by Ray Parker, Jr. The theme tune to the popular movie hit #1 in 1984 and stayed there for three weeks. It's nonetheless a well-liked song for Halloween festivities and events. Who will be this period's worst dancer that inexplicably lasts till the finals? Who will go home initial? Who will fluster the judges by talking back again the most? Who will be the first to pull out many thanks to a sequin-associated damage? Share your predictions beneath.

Dancing With The Stars 2009 Week 5 Recap: Donny Rules!
I started to create my typical "Dancing with the Stars" evaluation when I suddenly realized that I didn't feel like doing it. For the first time since the ABC television display started, I really wasn't that interested in what experienced occurred or even what was going to happen in the subsequent weeks. That was a mild bulb moment for me. But what Keara delivers to the table is not an additional pretty face with a nice voice - it is, rather, a distinctive combination of musical abilities that are adept much past her many years, matched with a serene, but youthful, vitality that retains her relatable to audiences of all ages. With an R&B acoustic audio somewhat reminiscent of a younger feminine counterpart to Bruno Mars, Keara (or 'guitarprincesskeara' as she's recognized to her 3000+ subscribers on YouTube) is ready to deliver a fresh edge to teen pop songs. I sat down with Keara just a few nights in the past prior to an exceptional performance supporting look at this web-site at the Concert For Our Future in Manville, New Jersey, exactly where she opened up about her desires and objectives for her promising long term in music.
youtube
Kathy Ireland. Will she be this yr's Josie Maran and get booted off the first week? Or will she use the athleticism she shown in the cinematic classic Essential Roughness and outlast the relaxation?
Aaron Carter Net Worth
Case in stage, singer Mya and model Joana Krupa. These girls are undeniably fantastic dancers and most likely the leaders of the competition. But who cares? Numerous viewers don't know enough about them aaron carter pictures to get invested and root for them.
Tumblr media
Donny Osmond was a hit! His sister Marie was on back in season five of "Dancing With the Stars," and she produced it all the way to the last three regardless of being 1 of the weaker performers. Expertise-wise he's probably more powerful than Marie, and he has a great capability to perform the group. He completed his foxtrot with a twenty. During the team salsa, he was also easily declared the winner. Kathy Eire and Tony Dovolani. Kathy Ireland is a design, actor, Sunday school teacher and CEO. Will this well-known bikini design and company entrepreneur have what it takes to make it to the top? Her partner is beloved Tony Dovolani who has arrive near to the top of DWTS, but has never taken home the mirror ball trophy. His past partners were Melissa Rycroft, Susan Lucci, Marissa Jaret Winokur, Jane Seymour, Leeza Gibbons and Stacy Keibler. This group might get fingers-down in the looks division, but do they have what it requires to reach the end line? Perhaps so.
Nick And Aaron Carter
Next 7 days it's all about males compared to women on DWTS season nine: No much more of this pansy women compared to ladies and men compared to males stuff. Keep in mind to catch subsequent week's spherical of the competition on Monday evening at 8 PM Japanese/Pacific on ABC. Or just verify in with me. You know I'll be watching! Dancing With the Stars followers are psyched about the big Season nine premiere. In the meantime, here's a chance to get acquainted with the couples, weigh their probabilities for achievement, and capture up on the very newest DWTS information. Strap in simply because this appears to be a bumpy, yet thrilling season! There were several fans that were shocked by the reports when they had been broken in the media, and now that it has been announced that read this article will be appearing on the news display, it is certain that followers will be tuning in to watch what he has to say about the story.

Aaron Carter Net Worth 2018
Carrie Anne commented that whilst it was apparent he hadn't danced prior to, she liked that he revered the dance and display the joy of dancing, but he has to discover to use his heels. It began, curiously sufficient, when entertainer Donny Osmond's son Don Jr. "tweeted" congratulations to his Dad, noting that "You and Kym [Johnson] are going to get this season. You've received my vote every 7 days! Love ya!" Oops.

Aaron Carter I'M All About You
The marathon: The 9 remaining couples danced simultaneously for the first marathon mambo. At stake: much more judges' factors. The initial few tapped out obtained two points, while the final receives 10 points. If nothing else, Ashley inherited one thing from his famous father, George: the smile. He did a good occupation with the footwork, but it truly didn't do a lot to stand out from the crowd. With a four from Bruno, Ashley completed with a 15. He also was last in his group salsa. He's just not exciting, and I'm really not sure he wants to be there; for that purpose, he should be the male contestant to depart on Wednesday. You can see that this exercise plan is not like any crap marketed on Television. You will never feel tricked, and your money and time will be ell invested. It brings together a great established of workouts with a balanced and nicely planned diet which will assist you obtain incredible results in a fairly short period of time.

Season 13, Episode 1 (The One Where Blake K Doesn't Get a Rose)
Welcome back, Bachelor Nation! I’m super excited about this season of the Bachelorette (mostly because Rachel is not Nick Viall and will never be Nick Viall). You all know how I feel about Rachel (and that I knew she’d be the next Bachelorette since the first episode of last season), so I won’t wax poetic about her. Instead, I’ll just start this recap. Let’s go!
The episode opens with Chris Harrison talking about how much we all love Rachel. Duh. Obviously. Let’s move on.
Rachel does some street dancing, plays basketball alone, “goes to court” (by which I mean she performs in an instructional video about what lawyers do as directed by someone who doesn't know any lawyers), flashes back to meeting gross Nick (complete with beignet eating and limo crying), takes a plane with her DOG WHOSE NAME IS COPPER (!!!), poses for some pictures, chats with some grandmas, and finally drives up to the mansion.
Time to meet some guys!
Pretty Boy Pitbull Kenny King is a wrestler. He is very sweaty and panty for a solid chunk of his intro video and has a very tall ten year old daughter. (Is Rachel ready to get engaged to a man who has a ten year old child and possibly be that child’s step mother?). He makes a pun about rings.
Jack Stone is a lawyer (like Rachel), is 31 (like Rachel), and is from Dallas (like Rachel). He talks about the passing of his mother while staring out at some water and then plays with a dog.
Alex would like to let you all know that is not a meat head. He likes books and coding and learning and Rubiks Cubes. Ok? Those are things meat heads don't like! Only nerds like those things!
Mohit is a start-up guy. He loves dancing with his family in his living room.
Alright. Here he fucking is. Whaboom -- a manboy named Lucas who frequently wears shirts that have cartoon versions of his own face on them. This guy is going to be either my most favorite or my least favorite.
Blake E (omega Blake) is a sports nutritionist and certified lunatic. He works out on the beach and talks about how amazing his penis is (by which he means it’s slightly below average). Fuck this guy.
Next up is Diggy, who loves clothes and has 575 pairs of shoes (or 1150 individual shoes). Diggy, you see, is a fashionista. He also has a dog, but we don't get to know how many pairs of shoes the dog owns.
Josiah makes me cry. Top 5, easily. E A S I L Y . His older brother killed himself when he was younger and Josiah had to cut him down from the tree that he hung himself on. Josiah has an amazing story and is either this season’s winner or next season's Bachelor.
A meeting of the minds commences. Among Rachel’s panel of advisors is Astrid (who I forgot about), Whitney (who everyone forgot about), nanny-having Corinne, dolphin lady Alexis, Raven (the true winner of Nick Viall’s season of The Bachelor), beautiful princess Kristina, and Jasmine G. (the one who choked Nick -- big fan). Everyone loves Eric, Raven believes that DeMario is amazing (but Whitney thinks he’s THERE FOR THE WRONG REASONS™️), and some ill-advised voice likes Dean (the one who made the “I’m ready to go black and I’m never going back” comment).
Time for the men to come out of the limo. Finally.
First out of the limo is Peter. He is wearing a nice jacket and doesn't say anything awful. Congratulations, Peter!
Next is Josiah, this season’s winner. He makes a lawyer joke. Smells like a wedding to me!
Out comes chiropractor Bryan. He speaks Spanish and looks like a much more attractive version of my neighbor.
Kenny calls her “Pretty Rachel” and then dances with her. I am overcome with grief.
Rob doesn't get much of an introduction, but who cares?
There is also a man named Iggy. Diggy and Iggy. Fine.
Bryce, the transphobic firefighter, lifts Rachel off of her feet. Get out, Bryce.
Next out of the limo is Steve Urkel, followed by Stefan Urquelle. His real name is Will. As in when Will this end?
Here comes Diggy, who loves The Devil Wears Prada. He makes a pun based off of his name.
Kyle shows Rachel his buns. Who is Kyle?
Blake K (alpha Blake) talks about his grandparents who recently celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary. Big fan of Blake K. Huge.
Brady shows up with a sledge hammer. He is immediately terrifying. He “breaks the ice” at which point I feel he should be lead away from Rachel with his hands behind his back. He is also possibly wearing lavender lipstick.
Dean, who made that cringe-worthy comment when he first met Rachel, is shaking and grinning. Rachel lies about loving the comment. This is your season, Rachel. You do not have to lie to anyone.
Here comes Eric, my first round draft pick. Now I find him boring.
DeMario, who brought plane tickets to Vegas to his first encounter with Rachel, looks forward to more “first moments” with her. His confidence is overwhelming.
Gross Blake E arrives with a marching band. Do less, Blake E. I implore you. (Side note: Blake E’s hair is straight up disgusting).
Let’s make misogynistic comments about Rachel! A smart and funny woman? How is that possible? No woman has ever been smart AND funny! There must be some sort of catch! Several men’s heads explode.
Fred, who knew Rachel in elementary school, brings a yearbook. Rachel remembers his bad behavior. I sincerely hope he becomes this season’s Liz the Doula. (Miss you, Liz!)
Jonathan, the tickle monster, makes me scream into a pillow. If anyone ever tried to tickle me upon meeting me I would actually knock them out. Not appropriate, creepy Jonathan.
Lee, whose guitar lets me know it’s alright to hate him, wastes no time in introducing himself as a monster. He is a self-proclaimed singer/songwriter, and a me-proclaimed douchebag.
Alex the Mensa genius brings a vacuum because why not?
Milton, who literally admitted that he wanted to be discovered by a talent agent, takes a selfie with Rachel. Bye!
Adam brings a mannequin named Adam Jr. Adam Jr. (AJ) will more than likely compete on Bachelor in Paradise because Rachel hates him. AJ is left in the corner where he conspires against all of the other men in the house whilst Jonathan tickles people.
Matt is a penguin. Can’t wait until Alexis decks him on Paradise.
Grant arrives in an ambulance.
Anthony is wearing a beige suit. Different!
Jamey is unsavory upon first sight and unsavory upon further inspection.
Jack Stone has a great (crocodile) smile. Maybe he uses it to bite people.
Mohit makes some kind of comment about her having the upper hand. Is he a dom? A misogynist? Both? Neither? Where are his dancing family members?
A man whose legal name is Jedidiah quotes a Bible verse about crying. He is not wearing a full suit.
Michael brings a brownie. I pick him.
The men wonder who will go crazy. Here’s Whaboom. He is contractually obligated to show up when someone says “crazy,” “maniac,” “Whaboom,” or “testicles.” He turns bright red while yelling and carries a megaphone. Can't wait until he’s full drunk.
All 31 men (and 1 mannequin) are now in the mansion. Time for Rachel to like actually kind of meet them, but not really because chances are they’ll speak with her for like 10 minutes each and continuously steal her from each other.
Josiah tells Rachel his story, but she's only kind of buying what he's selling. It’s ok. They just need time to fall in love.
Dean and Rachel build a sand castle together. Dean, the youngest man in the mansion, thinks this is cute. Rachel is his babysitter.
Rob brought a baseball card with Rachel on it.
Anthony would like to understand Rachel.
Eric and Rachel dance again, but the spark is gone.
Someone gave AJ a glass of champagne. He is a child! He cannot drink!
Matt the Penguin asks if Rachel prefers Michael Jackson or Prince while AJ (who, like a clown, is hilarious and terrifying) (mostly terrifying) professes his love for Rachel in French.
Rachel remembered Fred the moment she saw him. He’s the top 5 guy who makes her feel comfortable, connected to her past, but he won't win.
Bryan steals Rachel. He is mature and handsome and surely top 5 material. His confidence, unlike DeMario’s, is endearing because it’s over-the-top in a funny way. You can tell he doesn't really believe all of these things about himself. (I hope). Rachel and Bryan kiss. She didn’t want to kiss anyone tonight, but says that she enjoyed him.
The first impression rose is brought out. Everyone starts sweating (and drinking). Let’s be honest. Bryan is getting the rose. No one else spent that kind of time with Rachel. And, as a first impression rose winner herself, she knows who’s real and who’s fake.
DeMario talks a lot, according to Josiah. Rachel is impressed by his confidence.
Jamey mentioned that his suit cost $2,000. He is Gob Bluth and I was right to hate him.
Men swarm Rachel. She is starting to get nervous. Cancel the season! Send everyone home! Let Rachel have fun in the mansion by herself.
Mohit is drunk and can't seem to find the right way to steal Rachel.
Rachel tells Peter that she doesn’t like chocolate while Whaboom narrates through a megaphone.
Blake E hates Whaboom so I officially love Whaboom. I would very much like to see Whaboom deck Blake E. I would very much like to see anyone (especially Rachel) deck Blake E.
None of these men seem to realize that they can only have a few minutes with Rachel. There are 31 of you and her time is more valuable than all of yours combined. Get with the picture.
I also just realized that Alex brought a vacuum because when we first met Rachel during Nick’s season she danced with a vacuum. Fine.
“Cash me outside, how bow dah?” asks Josiah. Oh, Josiah. I was rooting for you.
Kenny brings up his daughter -- his favorite person in the whole world. Maybe I was wrong to judge him. He’s a good father.
The first impression rose goes to Bryan because duh. Mohit gasps. He is the DGAP.
it’s finally time for the first rose ceremony!
Roses go to:
- Normal Peter
- Will Urkel
- Smiley Jack Stone
- Slimy Jamey
- Forgettable Iggy
- Dance Machine Eric

Roses do not go to:
- Bland Rob
- Drunk Mohit
- Forgettable Kyle
- Blake K (who actually voluntarily left to see his grandfather in the ICU -- i.e. the true winner of this season)
- Grant, who was not on this episode
- Bible-quoting Jedidiah
- Milton, who will never get the chance to be famous now (FIRST CRY OF THE SEASON)
and
- Brownie-bringing Michael
Alright, the season has begun. Who will win? Who will lose? Who will beat the crap out of Blake E? Here’s to finding out!

Dancing With The Stars 2009 Solid: Best Of Waltz (Video Clip)
ABC announced the sixteen rivals for the subsequent period of "Dancing with the Stars" on Monday early morning's Great Early morning America. As typical, there were a couple of "Who in the heck is that?" names mixed in amongst the real stars who have determined to make a money get, I imply publicity stunt, I mean enjoy stimulating competitors while difficult themselves to attempt something new. Yeah, that last one. But what Keara delivers to the desk is not an additional fairly encounter with a good voice - it is, rather, a unique mixture of musical skills that are adept much past her many years, matched with a serene, but youthful, vitality that retains her relatable to audiences of all ages. With an R&B acoustic sound relatively reminiscent of a young feminine counterpart to Bruno Mars, Keara (or 'guitarprincesskeara' as she's recognized to her 3000+ subscribers on YouTube) is prepared to deliver a fresh edge to teen pop music. I sat down with Keara just a few nights ago prior to an outstanding overall performance supporting get redirected here at the Live performance For Our Long term in Manville, New Jersey, where she opened up about her desires and objectives for her promising long term in songs.

I will admit to being tired of great dancers like Cheryl Burke, Edyta Swilinska, Jonathan Roberts, and Tony Dovolani being paired with celebs that ensure them an early fall out. On the other hand, it's fun to watch "So You Believe You Can Dance" alumnus Dmitry Chaplin, Chelsie Hightower, and Lacey Schwimmer strut their substantial skills on the flooring.
Aaron Carter Net Worth 2018
It started, curiously enough, when entertainer Donny Osmond's son Don Jr. "tweeted" congratulations to his Dad, noting that "You and Kym [Johnson] are heading to win this season. You've got my vote each 7 days! Adore ya!" Oops. When I was four years old, I really begged my father for a guitar. He was like, "No, you can't have 1 till you're five." So, eventually, when I was 5, he gave me a guitar, and ever since, I never want to place the guitar down. That's truly where it all began. The Dancing with the Stars 2009new cast became large information on the political front when Tom Delay was picked for Season 9. Tom Delay has now gone from former House vast majority chief, and 1 of the numerous Bush administration officials to encounter scandal, to a reality star.
Aaron aaron carter net worth 2015 Carter Singer
And Joanna Krupa (who)? Let's just say the purpose she is still in the top 5 is simply because of Derek Hough. Anyone who is lucky enough to get him as a partner is heading to adhere around for awhile. He is, by much, the very best dancer on the show (as well as Mark Ballas). Derek has some of the best choreography and should truly be a great instructor because he goes a lengthy way on each display. The new period of "Dancing with the Stars," is becoming billed as the biggest period yet. sixteen celebs will be competing for the title of "DWTS" Winner. It all kicks off with a live three evening premiere starting tonight at 8 p.m. on ABC. Donny Osmond, Aaron Carter and former Home Vast majority Leader Tom Delay are among the contestants. To believe in his program there are some issues that you have to know about him. He is a a lot recognized personality at Hollywood by acting in many films and being in numerous exhibits on Tv. He also was a dancer and choreographer for Mariah Carey. He is extremely good at what he is performing and his physique is very strong and it does display that he knows his job. He has been very successful and labored as a dancer for Nick and internet and he is the creator of one of the two very popular exercise programs: ever Hip Hop Abs and Rockin Body and now Insanity.

How Old Is Aaron Carter
Dancing with the Stars Fall 2009 7 days 1 arrived to a final close with the elimination of a 2nd couple. Len known as the three couples still awaiting their fates "a great bouquet", which I thought was corny but still sweet. Kelly Osbourne and Louie van Amstel were proclaimed secure, leaving Kathy Eire and Macy Grey to duke it out. After that terrible music and waiting, Macy and companion Jonathan Roberts were eradicated from DWTS period 9. Sigh. Okay, that's fine. Another break. Blah blah blah. Then. much more drama as the DWTS season 9 base three became the official base two. Louie Vito and Chelsie Hightower were proclaimed safe, leaving Debi and Kathy in the base two. Samantha Harris asked Carrie Ann if she was shocked by the two ladies in the base two, and she said she was surprised to see Debi Mazar up for elimination. Hmph. Cue the dramatic music - it's time. Kathy Eire and Tony Dovolani were offered the boot.
Aaron Carter Trump
Nonsense completed, the solid of Broadway's The Lion King stormed the ballroom with an amazing spectacle. The 'animals' were just as well cool, particularly the elephant and what I believe were giraffes. NFL star Michael Irvin and companion Anna Demidova had been subsequent up on DWTS with their Samba. Michael's really experienced a difficult time with the judging panels this period. The factor I appreciate about Michael is his performer's heart: He appears to have enjoyable every week, even when he's nailed by Len, Carrie Ann and Bruno. That said, it believed their Samba lacked a small. It seemed sluggish and just not precisely what I'm used to seeing for the style of dance. Bruno said "sometimes you danced this like a tank" and proceeded to beat him down. Ouch. Carrie Ann stated "I certainly believe you have rhythm but you're dancing too small". Len said "it's a hard dance for a large man" and "I'm afraid it was a bit disappointing". Oof. Michael Irvin and Anna Demidova's Dancing with the Stars Drop 2009 week three scores: five, 4, five = fourteen. Opinion: NFL proves it has learned nothing as Kareem Hunt signs with Browns
Kelvin Kuo/Associated Press
Almost a year ago to the day, on Feb. 10, 2018, Kareem Hunt shoved a woman in a hotel hallway, shoved another individual so hard that he tumbled into the woman and knocked her down, and then kicked the woman as she crouched on the floor.
Early Monday afternoon, the Browns signed Hunt to a one-year, $1 million contract.
Congratulations, NFL: business as usual is back, and it’s booming.
There’s video of what Hunt did, from multiple angles. It’s a chaotic scene: a 216-pound athlete lashing out.
A CNN report cited three separate calls to police dispatch. It also noted that the hallway assault was one of three violent off-field acts of which he was accused in 2018: In January, a man told police in Kansas City, Missouri, that his nose and ribs were broken by Hunt and teammate George Atkinson during a nightclub brawl, and a witness said Hunt punched another individual during an altercation in June.
The Chiefs, who said they were aware of the February assault and had already spoken to Hunt even while he took the field for them every week at the start of the season, released Hunt when TMZ released the video in November.
But the NFL no longer has to worry about crimes and allegations from about 200 news cycles ago. Ratings are up. The 2018 season was a big hit. Even minor league football is suddenly popular.
We’re in a new golden age for the league, wherein the biggest controversy is a blown call in a playoff game. Concerns about violence against women are soooo 2014 in the NFL. Here’s a million dollars, Kareem Hunt: You learned your lesson, probably, and deserve a second chance, for some reason.
Oh, the NFL itself will discipline Hunt (on the commissioner’s exempt list as the league investigates the assault) with its usual swiftness and precision. Hunt’s shoving and kicking a woman is supposed to be punished with a minimum six-game suspension, which means by the time it is announced, it will probably be watered down to about three games, the same length as Jameis Winston’s suspension last season for groping an Uber driver in 2016.
Why would the league possibly cut its prescribed suspension in half in the face of such shocking evidence? It’s the NFL’s new math: Suspensions are adjusted based on the public’s attention span. Grope an Uber driver? Three games. Physically abuse your wife? One game. Soon, we’ll be so desensitized that the punishment for kicking a woman will be a benching for a quarter of a preseason game.
Jameis Winston was suspended three games last season for groping an Uber driver in 2016.Joe Robbins/Getty Images
The NFL offers counseling as part of its conduct policy. Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reported that Hunt has already started anger management and alcohol counseling. Let’s hope he takes it seriously and it helps him. But it’s easy to be skeptical when a team is so quick to fork over money.
If Hunt had hurt his knee in November, teams would order a dozen MRIs before handing him a contract. But extreme behavioral modification? That can be knocked out in a few therapy sessions.
If this column comes across as a little jaded and cynical, you only needed to take a glance at Twitter in the moments after the Hunt signing was announced in order to see why. Here’s a sample from my feed, with the names scrubbed away and the thoughts paraphrased:
NFL Analyst 1: “Interesting. John Dorsey drafted Hunt for the Chiefs. The shrewd Browns general manager obviously still has faith in Hunt.”
NFL Analyst 2: “How odd: The Browns already have Nick Chubb and Duke Johnson Jr. It will be fascinating to see where Hunt fits in a crowded backfield.”
NFL Analyst 3: “Perchance the Browns hope to trade Hunt after his suspension now that they have procured his services at a discount rate. A bold player personnel tactic, indeed.”
Depth chart talk? Trade speculation? Pigskin analysis?
Hunt kicked a woman. It’s on video. It happened only one year ago, we learned about it mere months ago, and it’s already little more than a point of procedure.
The internet outrage eventually arrived, because internet outrage always eventually arrives. But it took the local instead of the express, and much of it sounded perfunctory and a little weary when it finally showed up.
Five years ago, footage of a football player violently assaulting a woman sparked around-the-clock coverage from hard-news outlets. Owners held press conferences to quell the outrage caused by the cover-up. We had a nationwide conversation about violence against women, its root causes and how the NFL can be part of the solution.
Now, many of us are reluctant to even make fun of the Browns for doing something stupid and awful because the Browns are a feel-good story. Heck, the whole darn NFL is a feel-good story. Bright new stars like Patrick Mahomes! Eternal champions like Tom Brady! Tense playoff duels! Young hotshot coaches! Ratings! Revenues!
Why talk about domestic violence, protesting racism or any of that boring old real-world stuff when we can watch some no-look passes?
This is NFL paradise. The league and its teams must only pay the barest lip service to having a social conscience while doing whatever they want to do. If Hunt can make the Browns 2 percent better or generate a few more dollars, who cares what happened last year?
Kareem Hunt was placed on the commissioner’s exempt list late last season after a video was published that showed the former Chiefs running back shoving and kicking a woman.Kelvin Kuo/Associated Press
Claiming that the NFL learned nothing from Ray Rice, Greg Hardy or other controversies that overshadowed the league in recent years would be 100 percent incorrect. The NFL learned exactly what it wanted to learn.
News cycles and angry internet mobs come and go. Fans come back, no matter what, as long as the games are exciting. Survivors’ names and stories begin to pale in comparison. And “the shield” endures, no matter what.
The NFL learned that the best way to solve all its problems is to score more touchdowns.
So now we must hold our noses and choke down Hunt’s imminent return to the NFL. He’ll attend Browns minicamps while the NFL twiddles with its investigation. By the time we hear about his suspension—which will inevitably be appealed—we’ll have been force-fed a redemption narrative.
And by the time Hunt scores his first touchdown, television analysts and columnists like me will shorthand what he did as a vague “incident” or “mistake” so we don’t keep tripping over the phrase “repeatedly shoved and kicked a woman” every time we mention him.
Of course, many will forget about the victim. In fact, many already have.
We can blame the NFL and its teams for being callous, insincere, insensitive, tone-deaf and utterly indifferent to everything but dollars, win totals and ratings points. But we must also remember that many of us trained the NFL to be that way.
As fans and observers, we’re easily distracted. We forget more easily than we forgive. We crave football so much that it’s unhealthy.
We swallowed CTE, Rice, Hardy, the Colin Kaepernick blackballing. What’s a guy kicking a woman compared to all that? Get mad on the internet today, talk about Kyler Murray tomorrow, draft Hunt in your fantasy league as soon as his suspension lifts.
Business as usual is all of our business. We should hold the NFL and its teams more accountable. We should hold ourselves more accountable.
Until then, the league will always offer second or third chances to the likes of Kareem Hunt and worry about whether they deserve them later.

Sten Hugo Hiller - 627184 - Mountain Climbing Mecha Combat #819: January 3340 Sixty
(By Sten Hugo Hiller - 627184) Mountain Climbing Mecha Combat #819
Brought to you by ANN
Highlighting the January 3340 Sixty
A new event was announced. Sixty ton Max.
I had done decently well in the late Namtar event and hoped to repeat that success. However, Bruno had gotten wind of the event, and all my Namtars had their power core pulled. I could of course resorted to use my Pyrophoruses, but they were less than a quarter on the way to being ready.
I had other details to take care of, getting resources foremost among them, but at t-30 minutes I went to one of the Mecha bars and had a look at the action. Most of what happened was on Mount Olympus, and a curious fact struck me. Almost no Namtars or Pyrophoruses were in evidence. It seemed the top pilots were slugging it out mainly using 50 ton or lower tonnages.
I called my XO, Lt Lee and told her to gather my 40 ton formation, Snooze Company, but reinforce it a bit, add a couple Dreads, Fides and Cindrons. She was nonplussed but said she would get them ready in 20 minutes.
I got back to the compound and led the force out. Bruno, having no inkling what I was about to try, waved us off.
We arrived at the tournament grounds just before the balloon was to go up. Most of the opponents were quite overweight, and shouldering two of them aside I gained the top foothill.
I paused and considered the opponents who were in formation. Bob Goetz from Death`s Brethren and Darryl Proctor from Black Star Lycan Rangers had licenses lower than mine, but they had more than 200 and 600 tons on me. Michael Beagle, also from Death`s Brethren had both a higher license than me and more than 450 tons advantage. The top was held by Caitlyn Mainer from Avengers of Bunny. She also had more grades than me, and her formation was 300 tons heavier than mine.
However, she had forgotten to bring Heavy Guard drones, so perhaps I actually could defeat her? A lucky attack later I sat on the top. I wondered which opponent who would blow my formation off the top, but either they were asleep or they didn't care for the top prize, so when the light flashed I was still there.
Those who managed to secure the tops this time was:
Div 1 270+ (21 Commanders): Ben Rail, Leviathan (13s) 2: Fabio Favaro  3: Bernard Johnson  4: Shawn Wretham  5: Jeff Haas  6: Claude Poirier  7: Sherriff Leary Wretham 8: Sal Vezzosi Jr  9: Robert C Goetz Sr  10: Terry Cole  Div 2 -269 (13 Commanders): John T Mainer, Spirit of Bunny (2h,47m) Div 3 -187 (16 Commanders): Sten Hugo Hiller, Star League (19m,8s) Div 4 -142 (11 Commanders): David McCallum, Heroes (16m,55s) Div 5 -112 (19 Commanders): Joey Goldez, Phoenix (1h,42m) Div 6 -89 (16 Commanders): RobertS400, Death`s Diciples (1h,18m) Div 7 -73 (18 Commanders): Patrick T Kennon, M&L NecroManiacs (11m,54s) Div 8 -55 (11 Commanders): Cora Soco Hiller, today and tomorrow (6s) Div 9 -42 (5 Commanders): Douglas Rainey, Death`s Demons(11h,17m) Div 10 -28 (14 Commanders): Donald_Trump_45, MAGA (1h,8m) Div 11 -23 (13 Commanders): Nick Walter, Wreaking Havoc (5h,37m) Div 12 -18 (13 Commanders): Optic Knight, MAGA (17h,36m)
3+8+10(1S)+5(1S)+7+7+7+5+1(1S)+0+0+0= Three Silvers and fifty Bronzes were awarded to Commanders who obviously had one or more overweight Mechs
Total Contestants: 170, Total medals claimed: 155 (of 180 possible)
Compared to the previous event, the Quadruple Rainbow, the number of Commanders who showed up to compete was diminished by thirty-six. That led to most of the tops having less contenders than the available number of medals, and a total of twenty-five Bronzes from seven tops were returned for resmelting
The last half-hour saw five Golds change hands, two of them the last quarter-minute. Of the remaining seven Golds four were held for more than two hours.  So it seemed this was an active event you might think. Yes and no, let's take a look at the number of medals held for more than 30 minutes in this event:
.............Silvers......Bronzes Div 1 ....0 of 4.........5 of 10 Div 2 ....4 of 4.........8 of 8 Div 3 ....4 of 4.........8 of 10 Div 4 ....4 of 4.........3 of 6 Div 5 ....4 of 4.......10 of 10 Div 6 ....3 of 4.........9 of 10 Div 7 ....3 of 4.......10 of 10 Div 8 ....2 of 4.........3 of 6 Div 9 ....4 of 4......…….N/A Div 10 ..4 of 4.........9 of 9 Div 11 ..4 of 4.........8 of 8 Div 12 ..4 of 4.........8 of 8
Mount Olympus was as usual a hotbed of fighting, and also K8 saw more than half the medals get new holders. However, half of the tops had no successful medal attacks.
The sole clan to claim multiple golds this time was MAGA who grabbed top prizes on both K10 and K12. No unaligned Commander managed to secure a win, neither did any of the Quadruple Rainbow winners manage to get a follow up win.
As I waited for my turn in the line to get awards, a hand landed on my shoulder. Behind me stood Ben Rail (#459199) the winner of the top division. He congratulated me on my win, and I dared to ask him for an interview. He agreed to give me a few minutes.
Sten Hugo Hiller  Congrats on your latest win in the King of the Mountain tournament. That makes it what, your 52nd?
Ben Rail  Thank you, not sure it's that high as I still don't have a full complement of Nephies so must be less than 42.
Sten Hugo Hiller  Ah, ok. You will surely get them. So how did you feel this event went, it looked like quite a furbal on the top?
Ben Rail  D1 Kotms are always a fight, Warlock have depth and breadth so you're not just fighting a single player but a conglomerate My 60T was close to the strength of the others so it was just trying to make my battles last long enough before the timer went. But was more luck than tactical skill
Sten Hugo Hiller  When a pilot of your caliber says so, I am not one to say you are wrong, but surely skill was involved. I noticed you stayed below the maximum tonnage of the Mechs allowed, conscious decision, or just a lack of 60 tonners?
Ben Rail  I rejigged my 60T formation only a few hours earlier, and have started experimenting with a few different Mech types, but the bulk of my force is Nephies and Vizies, both well under the 60T limit, I think you'll find most of the top players are running similar setups.
Sten Hugo Hiller  Might be, I had one similar myself, not that I claim to be a top pilot though. I rechecked the records. If they are correct this time was actually the 26th Gold you won, but a fair amount (11) of them have been Chronos. Are Chronos more to your liking than the sudden death tournaments?
Ben Rail  Before I hit Div one I was a slow leveler so didn't do a lot of Kotms, when I finally joined D1 the top players were a lot stronger than me and it was hard to get Golds. Timing is the main issue for me and I'm usually not around when most Kotm finish so I tend to get picked off, again in part because Warlock are so strong and active in the Kotms. Chrono's give me more time to keep in the running but even there it's getting very difficult as you're not defending against one player but an organized killing machine that can drag you down well below the top 10 with their ruthless organization.
Sten Hugo Hiller  It is tough on the tops. Much easier in the lower divisions where it seem most are asleep during the end time. There have been talk of getting some upgrades for the Anubis and the Antithesis, perhaps an upgrade package as well. Is this welcome news for you, or are these Mechs not in your formations?
Ben Rail  D1 kotm is the most active as all players love XP so there's no reason not to have a go . I've only heard today about the possible upgrades to the Antithesis, I have two in my lineup and 3 Anubis but only the Anubis in my main formation, so whilst any upgrade is welcome it's not really going to help me. What I'd really like is an upgrade to the Torrent and Regis, Mechs that I still have a lot of and wield them most Clan Wars when I assume my 90T Specialist persona.
Sten Hugo Hiller  So which Mech is your favorite then, the one that have done most for you, the Torrent, or the Regis?
Ben Rail  Torrent as I have the most and for a long time it formed the basis of my main formation, I still run two in my front line main formation but they will be replaced as they lack the weapon slots / speed and shielding of the bigger 95+ ton Mechs. All my torrents run 100% Freeze and 100% 2x and with suitable weapons 100% 3x
Sten Hugo Hiller  That is a scary Mech to encounter, a wall of them would rip my Mechs to shreds I suppose. Now, if you could pick or make your favorite Kotm event, would it be a Torrent only, a wider 90 ton max or something else entirely?
Ben Rail  90T Chrono would have to be my best overall choice as I think I'd do rather well. I would also like to see a 90T max self same so I could field a wall (or 2) of the Green Devils.
Sten Hugo Hiller  From your lips to the Developers ears.. It is about time for another war. Would you prefer it to be a standard clan war, the bigger faction war, or the smallest, the squad war?
Ben Rail  I'm not a fan of the Faction Wars but would love to see a squad war (limited to 5 max players and one specialist)
Sten Hugo Hiller  Perhaps we get one, who knows. Now it seem your clan mates are getting impatient and want to get you to the celebration party. Any advice to up and coming pilots, or general observations?
Ben Rail  I'd just like to say that the recent additions to equipment and the new wave challenges are welcome additions, yes the wave challenge, still has room for improvement but I think it's a step in the right direction. To other pilots: Ask lots of questions and remember to have fun.
Sten Hugo Hiller  Well thank you for your time, and may it be a long time before I have to face you on the Battlefield.
Ben Rail  Thank you for the chat and hope you don't have to wait too long to feel my wrath.
Well, I hoped it would be a long time till I did. But some other wrath was turning my way. My wife, who had won on K8, was still waiting for a congratulary kiss. I gave her one, and we went off for a private romantic dinner.
Upcoming event: 10 Red Tons  This should be easy to decipher. Only Mechs weighing 10 tons are allowed, so it is a Red Ant only tournament.
Event ends October 8 between 2230 and 2300 New York Time

NBA Summer Vacation Watch: Shots from the Mid-Range of Summer
Look, there’s little to no preamble needed for this one. We’re in the thick of the season, my friends, and like the bounty of any good summer harvest there’s a lot to digest—so slap on some SPF and crack a cold bev of your choice, ‘cause summer is fleeting and there’s no time to waste.
Joel Embiid
A first for simultaneous hashtags in the sand and Chopin’s "Funeral March" on SVW. Also, shamefully, a first for the classic vacation gag of burying somebody up to their head on the beach. However, Embiid is nothing if not a league trendsetter so watch this space to see if this catches on and we get more of our favorites covered in extremely large quantities of sand before the off-season is turned, regrettably, back on.
Rating: Lots of fun and a little bit spooky, set to the soundtrack of a classic 19th century composer? Carefree middle of summer, we have arrived unto thee.
Jimmy Butler
Look who is still on vacation! Jimmy Butler is ostensibly making it right the hell up from his lack of downtime last summer, with some QT in Italy, a quick dip into Spain for Pau Gasol’s birthday, then skipping like a beautiful piece of beach glass down to the Greek islands in an oceanic teal Stella McCartney linen tunic and shorts combo to get his reps in as he’s spotted by the Aegean.
Rating: Is this our Eat, Pay, Love?
C.J. McCollum
After last week’s Lillard sighting—wonderful as it was to see Dame crooning down the Colombia River on a Jet Ski—I was concerned one of the Blazers might not make it to a more exotic locale but McCollum has come through, for all of us.
Rating: Congratulations to C.J. for acquiring the pool and matching geolocation tag of my dreams.
Nick Young
There is no one of this earth that gets as much use out of their Disney World season’s pass as Swaggy P, and no one who gets as much enjoyment out of Disney World as Swaggy P. In one visit we have two hat changes and four era changes—puritan, pirate, something with lights, log driving—plus P doing an immaculately timed selfie the moment the roller coaster took his family’s photo, like summer Inception.
Rating: Could have used a big turkey leg but I assume he’ll be back before the summer’s out.
D’Angelo Russell
Just when you think you thought you knew how to relax poolside, there’s D’Angelo Russell getting a massage beside his.
Rating: Rude of the postal service not to deliver the memo that swimming has herein been elevated!
Kenneth Faried
Please enjoy Faried and his toucan swim trunks yachting; parasailing; and posing in, on, around, and over the Adriatic Sea.
Rating: Faried is a free agent next summer and the Nuggets or whomstever better not lock it down before summer vacation re-signs him, once again.
Gorgui Dieng
Turns out all it takes to get me interested in the World Cup is Gorgui Dieng and a little thing called his huge patriotism!
Rating: Dieng went on to best both Croatia and France and take home the big, gold global cup for himself.
Tim Hardaway, Jr.
Freedom’s just another word for Tim Hardaway, Jr. on a yacht in Miami.
Rating: Somewhere between Madonna in the music video for her cover of "American Pie" and an extremely chill Uncle Sam who wants you to have a good summer.
Malcolm Brogdon
A very mysterious photo of Brogdon off the coast of Cartagena looking extremely relaxed. No real clues as to where he is headed or from where he has come, equipped as best he can be in a muscle tank and swim trunks, ready for whatever this vacation may throw his way—
Rating:—which, from the looks of it, might be a cool sea breeze and the company of friends.
Dillon Brooks
Bet you didn’t know how much you needed to see a photo of Dillon Brooks skanking down an old alleyway in Girona, in the Catalonia region of Spain, until you did, huh?
Rating: M-m-m-my Girona!
Langston Galloway
The Great Wall continues to be an extremely popular SVW destination this offseason and true to the tradition of guys unable to go there and not work out for just one second, Langston Galloway attempted to run up 2,000 stairs, thankfully tiring out at around thirty.
Rating: UNESCO does not stand for U Need Extra Stairs, Cardio Obsessively
E’Twaun Moore
Here we go! Pelicans guard E’Twaun Moore also on the Great Wall, hopefully via gondola, looking not at all out of breath and without a sweatband or compression tights in sight. This is how you do the Great Wall, guys! Communism allows chilling.
Rating: UNESCO does (not really) stand for U’ll Never Ever See Chiller Objects
Demetrius Jackson
Jackson looking like the most Not-a-dude-not-yet-a-dad in Hawaii with the process shot of him getting the shot, then a picture of the shot, then him all of a sudden on top of a horse to go off and get an even better shot.
Rating: A man and a horse worth trading your whole entire starting roster away for, honestly.
Ron Baker
Oh good Lord, here we have Ron Baker up to his old tricks again, somehow always being bad at summer vacations despite all of the privilege and resources afforded to him. Ron was in Vegas for Summer League and decided to do a little excursion out of Sin City to go to a… giant, boring dam.
Rating: Dam you.
Aron Baynes
Nice of the Bad-At-Summertime MVPs to make my life easier and hopefully get it out of their systems this week, because next up is Aron Baynes! We catch this Taking-It-Easy Fraud descending a whole bunch of stairs he just climbed up in Hawaii instead of doing as Demetrius Jackson would and simply enjoying himself.
Rating: Baynes of vacations everywhere.
Ben McLemore
But we do need to end this big week on a high note and that’s why I’ve saved Ben McLemore, mere days before he was to wed, doing the "In My Feelings" challenge atop a pool fountain as an outro. Please, enjoy this balm and watch on repeat until we meet again next week.
Rating: Like a sunburn, bad vacations fade, but tandem dance routines with friends and loved ones that end with a leap into crystal clear waters last forever.

Reminders
» Carrying Copies of Passport and Visa
We have been informed by Public Security Bureau that policemen are being sent to different locations like supermarkets or streets to check people's passport and visa. We would like to remind our community that carrying a copy of your passport and visa in your wallet is recommended so you are fine if you are checked. Please note that the policemen will show you their working ID when they stop you. If they don't, please ask. If you forget to carry the two copies, they could take you back to their office. In this case, we suggest you contact your employer who can confirm your passport and visa information. They may also stop unaccompanied students so I would recommend that you review this procedure with them as well.
» New Residence Permits, Work Permits or Passports?
Whenever you or your family members receive new residence permits, work permits and/or passports, please be sure to send copies of your new documents to the Admissions office, in the Welcome Center (1st floor High School). Or, email soft copies to Admissions. Keeping your children's files up to date helps us keep in compliance with Chinese governmental regulations.
» Health Office Information
Concordia's Health Office has put together this useful list of emergency telephone numbers and addresses in both Chinese and English. Click here for the list or contact the Health Office for more information. Flu Shots For information on Flu shots, contact the Health Office. Contact Jenny or Yukki directly.
» No Bicycles for Children Under Age 12 on Public Streets - Shanghai International Schools Association (SISA)
The following information regarding bicycle riding in Shanghai is shared in an attempt to be helpful to all its member schools. For safety purposes, the regulations in Shanghai allow for bicycles to be ridden on public streets only by children age 12 and above. This regulation is strictly enforced in Puxi, but is unevenly applied in Pudong. The immediate danger is that families may assume that local protections for bicycle riders may be the same as in their own country, but they are not. It is important to be aware that if a child under 12 is involved in any kind of accident on a public street or crossing, the parent may be held responsible. Sidewalks and bicycle paths along public roads are considered part of the public roads. In addition, as accident insurance is relatively new to China and there are not many precedents with these situations, your own accident or medical insurance company has the right to refuse cover in the event of violation of the local law. We hope that better understanding will result in better safety for younger children.
» Community Bulletin Objectives
The Community Bulletin conveys school and student-related information and supports community, volunteer and charitable organizations. The classified section and driver/ayi notices are meant as a service to parents. With the exception of sharing information and offers from Concordia's official corporate partners, we do not support commercial ventures or for-profit organizations. The Community Bulletin editors reserve the right to omit submitted content deemed to fall outside the scope of the Community Bulletin.
» Parent Directory Privacy Policy
At Concordia, we are very protective of family information and data. The school emails only information that is important and directly related to the school and student issues. Internally, we carefully monitor what is emailed to parents and ensure it is appropriate. The use of email addresses from the parent directory for non-school related or commercial reasons is a severe misuse of the directory.
» Submitting Community Bulletin Items
The Community Bulletin is a bi-weekly newsletter. Please submit text in final format by Wednesday at noon in Arial font (maximum 100 words or 5 sentences in paragraph form with a headline) to [email protected]. Based on the schedule of the next bulletin, submissions may be included the week they are received or the following week. Any submission received after this time on the week scheduled for publication will be included in the next bulletin in two weeks. Submitted items may run for a maximum of two consecutive publications. <p><p> <p>

» Carrying Copies of Passport and Visa
We have been informed by Public Security Bureau that policemen are being sent to different locations like supermarkets or streets to check people's passport and visa. In this case, we suggest you contact your employer who can confirm your passport and visa information. They may also stop unaccompanied students so I would recommend that you review this procedure with them as well.
