Let me just say I am pro going right to penalties no extra time
#like even when you don’t have a player down for 10 minutes#I was exhausted just watching them#also let me also say that sure it’s easy not to play transitional when there’s no parity#but I think everyone exhausted them selves by not putting as many long balls over the top#like we’re in the second period of extra time now is not the time to play ticky tacky#also macario put in two beautiful balls in on corners and no one even wanted to try to be on the end of ?#congrats to zinsberger tho she probably made more saves in that game than all season#that’s hyperbole#also soccer has the longest extra time period of the sports I follow#longest overall and longest relative to the regular game time#which is even worse when you consider the amount of energy it takes to get from one side of the field to the other#especially when you are insistent on not making lots of long passes#also there was a lot of Chelsea wasting numerical advantages trying to set up the perfect shot#which is one of my icks
