sitting here like WHYY when i got my computer fixed like two months ago did i not remember that my fan is on its last legs and get it replaced. and now its one second away from dying and if i try to record and play sims at the same time it starts making a loud whining noise like my computer is gonna explode. gahhhhh!!!

so the good news is i have a really cool idea for a short cozy fantasy story all plotted out and i'm super excited to write it
the bad news is i got so excited about starting the first draft that by about two pages in i broke the carriage/escapement on my typewriter, probably from typing too fast/hard 🙃

with all the shit going on in my life rn especially considering my financial issues the last thing i needed was my fucking tablet screen to crack

Good news: I finally finished code-checking and polishing Part 1 of the fencing club route yesterday!
Bad News: My computer promptly shut off and refused to turn back on fifteen minutes after that.
Good News: After eight fruitless hours of trying to turn it back on, I gave up, disconnected all peripherals, and made an appointment at a nearby computer repair shop. On the way out the door, I tried to turn it on one last time...

Bad News: The writing is pretty much on the wall here. But I'm just going to sit over here in the corner with Denial MC and Sloth MC as my companions until it catches on fire.

oh yeah i never updated on the street fair i went to yesterday did i. it was fun :) it was smaller than the one i went to in september but still big enough to be exciting. it was fun to recognize people for once (both people from school and vendors from the previously mentioned september street fair). i hung out with one of my school friends too (i didnt know she was even there until i got there and a different friend of hers told me lol. she was there on volunteer work at one of the booths) and we got food together !!
i didnt get much but i did get Something. which was a cute axolotl charm and a very lopsided peach-colored stingray crochet plush. the seller of the axolotl charm i recognized was selling at the september fair and we actually talked more in depth!!! shes really nice. i showed her some of my art + my bmj charm i was wearing and she said it was really cute lol
#honorable mention to the computer repair shop that had a booth there who had someone in a partial fursuit running it.#which was a funny sight to see because i was not expecting a computer shop of all vendors to be doing that.#godspeed soldier 🫡 hope you fared well. i heard those things get hot as hell just wearing them normally for long periods.#hdfsgjhjgdfhjhdfh
