Not The Blood Son

Damian is not Bruce Wayne's biological son. A fact that no one was aware of, not even Talia herself.

This was because Ra found the DNA of a being related to the Lazarus pits, and was willing to make a clone for further study; However, he lost the sample. On the other hand, Talia, who was trying to created a kid of her and her beloved used the wrong sample.

Talia never realized this due to Damian's resemblance to Bruce. When Damian got to the mansion, Bruce take Talia's word for it, of course, she ran some blood tests but the computer started crashing at that point, showing the result to be 'similar'. He decided to do new tests later, but that result was enough at the time.

Everything Damian was proud of: his heritage, his own as the only blood son, his right to be "Batman", was gone as soon as his mother revealed the truth. His father, of course, said that he was still his son regardless of blood but Damian was not happy with that.

He was supposed to be different from his brothers, he was supposed to be Batman, but if he wasn't... who was he? What was his true purpose? what was the right path to choose?

Determined to find a new purpose, Damian decided to search for his biological father. Something in which his family offered him support. The problem was that the only information they had came from Ra and one of his former business associates. A certain "Plasmius", Damian's father had no other description beyond "Related to the Lazarus pits"

Danny Fenton, finally out of the hero life, and living with his "cousin" in Amity (and the Infinite Realms) had no idea how much was about to change his quiet retirement life.

i regularly get tags in my boba fett posts that say something along the lines of "#he needs a hug" so i'd like to pose a question to my fett fan followers:

assuming it came from someone he genuinely likes and cares about (think beviin or mirta), how do you think boba would react to someone hugging him?

#boba fett #(i'm excluding sintas here bc i think his reaction might be different given their romantic history)#here's my personal take:#first reaction to someone coming in for a hug is confusion; why is this person getting so close? are they injured? does he need to move?#hug makes contact. confusion continues.#at some point: realization hits. he is being hugged.#freeze. bluescreen. completely unmoving for duration of contact.#person pulls back. after several seconds‚ brain comes back online. silent alarm bells begin to ring.#why did they hug him?? did something terrible happen? IS something terrible about to happen?!#cannot compute that they've hugged him out of affection/care. it has to be because something somewhere has gone horribly wrong.#at some point might actually ask if something has gone wrong. is unlikely to believe them if they answer no.#spends way too long finding excuses to hang around that person (more than he already does anyway) hoping they'll tell him what's wrong #i'm talking days if not weeks here #at some point: is forced to accept that nothing is wrong and that this person just HUGGED him for... incomprehensible reasons!!!#complete 180. isolation time. still lowkey waiting for something awful to happen.#let's assume it doesn't. at some point‚ reemerges from isolation and tries to carry on like nothing happened #(secretly thinks about the hug for the rest of his life)#and if they hug him again? well brother i think he just dies #(i'm jk but these tags are already too long lol)

#kazehiki #utau #utauloid #vocaloid #i guess?? idk if i should put any other tags tbh #i don't know if this'll get far/anywhere but i've just been thinking abt it since ive seen both used a fair amount #i personally use hiki and then derive sillier nicknames from that (heekers) and i think maybe part of it has to do w/ 1) matches geki bette #and i never see anyone call her yaku for short always just geki. and 2) just sounds?? better to me than calling him kaze for short but idk #not to get my ass all overanalytical on this but i am genuinely curious if there is maybe a deeper linguistic reason as to why i prefer #one nickname over the other and if the same goes for other people. or perjaps im just crazy. i need to look cause maybe there is #more sophisticated linguistic research on how nicknames come about & are formed and i know it def varies on languages and stuff #so maybe thats an underlying reason for personal preferences across peeps. but again i think im just overthinking things #we're talking about nicknaming a computer program dawg... ughgh im in way too deep with this stuff #oh yeah and if u dont know vocaloid/utau and/or dont even know who he is & dont care ignore this lol carry on
