honest question. why is this fandom so hostile? like this is the 1st sports based fandom so is that the reason?? am I just following the wrong people? Other than a couple drivers I like everyone, and even the ones I don’t like I don’t wish bad things to happen. In my mind they’re just silly little rich bois driving around in weird shaped circles in vroom vrooms. I like the authors madding content for them. But jeez. The hostility behind have a preference that others don’t like is CRAZY

I obviously don’t wanna blast or insult anyone, but it may be the people you follow if the hostility is that bad? I have my opinions and preferences, but I don’t actively bring up the drivers I dislike unless someone else comes to be about them. but to bring them up and be hostile about them? that is a bit odd. personally, I haven’t seen all that much hostility on my dash so idk😭twitter is just full of haters for every driver, but I’d say tumblr is fairly calm in compsy

I have to do this often for my career (compsys) and while I don't think I'll ever be able to make friends I've gotten VERY good at small talk with potential colleagues/other people in the biz

young me especially would have hated hearing this but networking is literally the most important thing you can do to improve your situation like forget economic barriers to education etc just keep making friends with different people and eventually someone will offer you a hand up just because they dig your vibe and that is exactly all that's happening when undeserving people surpass you anyway

I guess this post is about me or smth idk

Hi I'm Karl I'm a 20 year old compsi major and I fucking love The Sims 3. I play on Linux exclusively so I'll at some point probably also post tutorials on how to use various Sims programs and stuff on Linux.

My favourite activity in The Sims 3 is probably building, but I've really taken a liking to just live gameplay lately too. Honestly until recently The Sims 3 was just House Building Simulator tm to me because the game was so unbearably laggy on my old ass PC, but then I upgraded and it became playable outside build/buy mode.

This blog will be legacy logs, pics of stuff I've built, CC finds and maybe one day mods(I want to try building my own mods for TS3 at some point but right now I just don't have the time or energy).

But yeah that's about it feel free to ask or message or smth if you want to say something.

The popup, ignored, now seemingly was begging for attention. The window got bigger on its own, as did the font. It didn’t fullscreen, it just scaled itself out to be larger.
