Tartarus (Children 2 of 6)

To say he was surprised about how radically different his eldest son was would be an understatement. Tartarus of course was first of the two and would never let his brother forget it. With a spiky crown of flaming red hair and eyes to match he was brightest of his children. He also made an impression on Nyx whom he bite on their first introduction. Khaos could remember on more then one occasion having to put out small fires in his beard after feeding time. And for some odd reason the boy enjoyed bedding down for the night in the fireplace which was often times still lit. At the age of two Khaos noticed how he almost always found the boy alone. Not to say that he was a lonely boy but that he preferred his own company. “Tartarus?” He mused as he sat himself down and pulled the boy into his lap. It would be one of the last time’s he would allow himself to be held. “Yes father?” He replied innocently flashing sharp little teeth up at him. “Do you feel lonely son.” “Why would I feel lonely father? I’m not like Nyx and Erebus I can entorrtain myself.” “Oh I see. Then you wouldn’t want a friend? I know you have your brother; your other half and Nyx. But you must want something more.” “I am contintded with what I have father.” “Then what will I do with these foals I made.” “Give them to Nyx she likes those things. Don’t annoying older sisters like those things?” “Not ones made of fire that eat flesh.” “Well…..then of course she won’t take care of them. I will it do it for you, but only in my free time.” “Of course, of course your time is important.” He chuckled into his beard.
