I have opened my FIRST EVER WAIT LISTS! For next months commissions.

This is probably gonna be the fist and last comms I’ll do for this year so if anyone wants to comm me this might be a good time-

All money will go to my bills and be funds for the next pair of plushies I plan to make and order! This is a goal for this year so it would help if you guys could help ;w;

Sorry to ask this here (and anon) but I have anxiety and this is a lot less scary for me.

So I was looking into your commissions and saw that you charge per the hour. I was just wondering how this worked in like actuality. Like, do you give a rough estimate of how many hours it would take, and give us that for a base and add extra if needed, or is it just you work at your normal speed and however long it takes is how much we’re charged.

Basically the commissioner tells me their idea, I tell them approximately how much time it'd take me to do what they ask, and then we tweak the details until it fits the commissioner's budget.

Also at every step I send the commissioner the timestamp I'm currently on so they can decide whether to cut short at the lineart if they're worried adding hatching and effects might take too long and thus be too expensive, or if they're fine going all the way to the end.

It's a communication game all along. I expect commissioners to tell me when it's starting to be too much, and I'm being as transparent about the time I spend on a project as possible.

the finished piece can in some cases already be done in a day but may take up to a full month depending on how busy i am and if my brain allows me to work, i have executive dysfunction and am in the middle of my graduation project so please be patient with me

Commission Waiting List Application Date

Hey everyone! The official date that my waiting list for commissions will be opening applications is Friday, November 15th at 2pm EST. It will stay open for a few hours on that day only, and then I'll choose which ones to work on for the next few months.

I have a question and I'm hoping Im not being rude but i see you talk about commissions every once in a while but i can't find a post about when you open them or many post about the commissions you've done? I just don't know about the type of commissions you do I guess it what I'm asking

Great question and a bit of a long answer so I hope I can answer all your questions!

I have actually never made a commissions post or officially “opened” my commissions. I have a form in my bio and I take commissions as they come and close the form when it gets too overloaded where I then open a waitlist.

I don’t tend to post my commissions as for some reason about 95% of the commissions I have done have been for specific purposes for the commissioner and not fandom related 😅 For example I’ve done several covers/illustrations for fics, covers for original books, promotional illustrations, oc art, and personal (family and friends of the commissioner) illustrations. So for some it would be strange to post them and others I am not really allowed to share until the commissioner chooses to do so😅.

There are so many pieces I’ve done I would LOVE to share as I do really put my heart into each and every one of my commissions but I can only really reblog them when they are shared by the commissioner.

As for types of commissions I do fandom, oc, and personal commissions! If you have any questions about specifics just shoot me a DM, I’m very accommodating and there’s no commitment necessary :)
