Hi, Its been a long long time!!! not long enough some people might say?

Well its a new year and with that comes new year resolutions and one of mine is guess what?,  to update my blog on a regular basis, aha, I hear you cry, been there done that, well I really am going to try I promise!!

So much of my time is spent updating our Facebook page and that really is the best way of keeping up to date with allow are doing, but I also appreciate that not everyone is on Facebook and so here we are. I do like the idea of a blog, it really allows you to go a little bit deeper into yourself than you would normally on social media platforms, which is why I use the word scribblings in the title of this blog, for thats what I want them to be, instantaneous thoughts on where I am at that moment in time or it could just be utter crap, it depends if we are on the same wavelength?,LOL

This image is of Lola our little rescue Staffie who we have had for just over a year now. I will be sharing much more of her story and life with us during this blog, especially as she is so photogenic.

Sadly, since my last scribblings on here we have heartbreakingly lost two of our beautiful dogs Bracken and Blue. As anybody knows who has been through this, its impossible to put into words the pain that follows, but with time and much healing we learn to appreciate and value the precious time we had together and we look at the photographs of them and smile and not cry. This does not mean to say we have forgotten them or they mean any less, its just we are now in acceptance. Regretfully, life is a circle and death is part of that circle that none of us can avoid, which is why each day we must take advantage of every second we have been gifted and love and share and be the person we want to be with no regrets.

So here we go then, blogs away and I look forward to scribbling my thoughts (crap?) over the coming months and you never know maybe years.

That’s a face that could solicit at least 3 or 4 entire bags of treats from even the tightest human grasp, AMIRITE?!!?! Monty was taking a little time off from her gig as a therapy dog at a local children’s hospital to just let loose and get wild at her Dog Breath photo shoot. She lost the vest for the day and splashed, played and fetched to her loyal little heart’s content underneath those fiery sunset skies. This is one of my absolute favorite images from our entire day together - a ‘stare into your soul’ sort of expression for the record books, for sure, and an image I plan to have printed huge for my studio wall!
