people often talk about an event or smthng where Tom didn't found any loki's merc (were funko pop? idk but he was kinda bummed out for having no loki in the thing do you know what i am talking about? it was something that people always point it out when talk about how mcu did he shit it was in a meeting idk he searched for any loki stuff and now i really wanna know where this came from because i never saw this before even when every1 talks about it, can you show or help me pleaseee? sorry ;;

I believe the event people talk about is what happened in Avengers Infinity War premier in LA. There were comicave toys of all of the characters except Loki. This is the only video I managed to find from it(If someone has a better video or gifset of it please share).

Tom notices that there is no Loki and pretends flipping the table. Then he had to take a picture holding Thor's statue.

I don't blame comicave though. They presented the toys of the characters who were on the poster. And Loki had no poster for IW. I blame Marvel. I find all the baitings specially insulting to Loki fans. All the promotions with Tom and Loki being in every IW trailer, only for him being killed in the first 5 minutes before the movie started. And sure, Tom probably was paid enough money for doing the promotions. But it must have hurt doing all that and your character not getting acknowledged on even a poster.

SO HEY here’s a gallery i did and totally forgot about. my uncle bought this bad boy a while ago and asked me to take some photos for him

this is comicave optimus prime, an officially-licensed third party figure that’s apparently at 1/22 scale

it’s a really big bugger, really hefty because of the diecast content and bonkers partscount. surprisingly pretty well articulated too, with jointed fingers and everything, but of course because of the size and complexity you’re not gonna get it to do yoga poses

the paint on this lad is crackers too. all those flames intricately picked out, with the subtle dry-brushing on the metallic parts, making things like the glyphs (which translate to basically keysmashing ) pop

it’s not really my kind of thing (i prefer retail figures, cheap and cheerful as they are), but there’s no denying that this thing is really impressive. it was a pretty interesting experience messing around with this lad too!
