i dont sleepwalk and im sure i dont sleeptalk, but i sure do move around a bunch in my sleep. this apparently also includes taking off my pajamas as i will seemly at random wake up and find i am freeballing it. as a matter of preference, i'd rather not be doing that.

as this has happened over the past 3 nights and its getting noticeably warmer to the point where the AC kicked on automatically (rare). it may be that im getting too hot under the covers. why i dont kick the covers off me in my sleep i dont understand but i dont think you can reason with the subconscious so lets bias the system.

two nights ago i tried an open window last night i tried pants + no shirt tonight i will try shirt + no pants (maybe an open window)

the hypothesis is that the underwear is just collateral when the pants come off so if theres no pants to take off, the underwear should stay on. all thats left is to test it

OMG. COMET PLS WRITE AETHER/MOUNTAIN OR AETHER/IFRIT WITH THE DADDY SHIRTS AND DEW WIRH THE BABY SHIRT

I like to think it's Aether and Mountain wearing the daddy shirts. I also like to think that the whole thing is unplanned.

Swiss is the purveyor of stupid shirts. He sees them, he buys them, he doles them out to whoever he thinks they belong to. But he isn't always good at communicating who has the paired shirts. So when Mountain and Aether both wear a white shirt with big black letters saying "Daddy" across it do to their chores, they have a laugh.

Swiss must have bought two of the same for them, because they are obviously the Abbey Dad's.

Aether makes a joke about Cirrus probably having a "Mommy" one. They roll their eyes a little at Swiss and go about their days. Later, Aether walks into the common room to see Dew sitting cross legged on the floor with Sunshine behind him braiding his hair. He's looking at his phone, distracted. But even with his arms angled to cover his chest Aether can tell the shirt he's wearing is a lot like the one he has on.

Aether doesn't ask about it. Dew's not paying attention to anything except Sunshine and his phone, so it's not worth trying to get him to show him the shirt--that's stupid.

And there's no way that Swiss got Dew one that says "Daddy", unless he got everyone A Daddy shirt, which would be funny, and sounds like something he would do.

Mountain comes in a few minutes later, and stops as soon as he sees Dew. He looks down at his own shirt, and then looks over and Aether and then back at Dew.

"Wait, what?" Dew looks up at the noise, he lowers his phone when he realizes Mountain is staring at him. Dew looks down at his chest then back up to Mountain then over at Aether.

A bright flash of color rises to his cheeks. He shoves himself up to his feet wrenching his hair out of Sunshine's grip. There's already smoke billowing out of his nostrils. And that's when Aether sees it. Printed across Dew's chest in the same thick black font is the word: Baby.

Dew storms form the room, Swiss' name already on his tongue.
