Each gem we buy is special: behold this color-change spinel. (Spinels have long been confused for sapphires and rubies. But spinels differ slightly in that they have a higher dispersion (sparkle) and are 100x rarer than a sapphires/rubies. This spinel changes color from blue to purple in candlelight and incandescent light. We designed (and manufactured) a solid 18k white gold setting with two haloes of almost colorless diamonds. We only use the best to complement the colored gemstone.
