Here we have Christian’s Seat Leon FR which has been suffering from power loss and poor mpg. We found several error codes for injector faults, turbo underboost, dpf blockage and egr fault! After further investigation we found the egr system to be severely clogged (in picture) so we carried out our Terraclean egr clean to remove this soot accumulation (in picture) we then cleared all codes and carried out a road test, the vehicle was performing better but still had an error code for injectors... after checking the live data we found that the injectors where working correctly but the pressure readings for the dpf where everywhere! After replacing the dpf pressure sensor all errors extinguished and the vehicle drove as it should! We now carried out a passive regen to remove the soot accumulation from within the dpf and the vehicle was now finished👍 restored performance, regained mpg and one happy customer. #volkswagen #Golf in today for running issues... vehicle kept going in to #limp mode with error codes for #turbo underboost! After checking all vacuum pipes, impeller and wastegate for leaks & correct operation we found that the #wastegate bypass valve was faulty and on removing it it fell apart! We replaced it with a genuine #Vw part and took the vehicle on #roadtest The difference in #running was noticeable straight away! We had Ryan’s #toyota #corolla in yesterday for a #Terraclean service to help reduce the smoke on acceleration and lack of #power He’d also had a warning light come on for EGR valve and took it off himself to clean, he said that it was severely gunged up and decided that the only way to remove any further build up was to have a Terraclean. As you can see in the video it was having a real #deepclean to remove the #carbon build up! Several different products had been used but still left the vehicle in limp mode! We collected the vehicle from Richard's work and carried out our Terraclean DPF clean at our workshop... it took us 2 hours to fully clean and regen the dpf but once we where finished it was out of limp mode and running as it should. We had Steve's Vauxhall insignia in today for DPF clean & diagnostics, after being quoted ££££'s by another garage to replace the dpf! He'd been having issues with the car going into limp mode and the dpf light illuminating... after some diagnostics we found that the dpf pressure sensor was giving an inaccurate reading and due to this it had failed to regen several times causing the dpf to block! We carried out our terraclean dpf clean to reduce the volume of soot in the dpf, replaced the faulty sensor and then carried out a regen. The car is now out of limp mode, no error codes and will perform its own regens successfully whilst driving. We had Steve's Nissan Qashqai in today for a DPF clean due to several faults and being quoted over £1100+vat plus labour for a replacement DPF! It had been used mainly for short journeys and had failed several times to regen itself and resulted in the dpf becoming blocked, this in turn caused the inlet manifold to crack and the pressure sensor to fail. A local garage changed the manifold and sensor but then the vehicle wouldn't start at all! They established that the dpf was blocked and would only run with the pressure pipe removed (relieving the back pressure) after being referred to us to see if we could help we carried out a manual pressure reading of the dpf which showed the pressure reading being off the scale! We had this #Mitsubishi #lancer in today for a #dpf clean, it's been to a few different garages who have kept replacing the dpf pressure sensor and trying to #regen it... we first took a back pressure reading of the dpf to see how blocked it actually was and then carried out a clean using our #terradiesel system, we reduced the back pressure from 4bar down to .05bar which then allowed us to carry out a forced regen.
