Okay some people asked for what characters in The Crossover would do with TikTok accounts so here we go:

Team Miraculous:

The Heroes have a collective Tiktok they all have access too. It's mostly showing off some parkour tricks, and occasional safety tips. Plus once in a while Honeybee or Chat posts a "we made the team watch fma:b and this is their reaction"(which always has them stealthily holding the camera because if anyone sees the camera they know some shits coming.)

Mari's is mostly fashion and baking. Like in-progress videos and "hey here's how to do this trick".

Adrien's official account is mostly just "look at my partners they're so amazing!!!" But he has a dummy account to watch and like other videos.

Alya's is mostly Ladyblog stuff with the occasional "check out my friends!!" Promotion.

Nino and the members of Kitty Section both use it to show off clips of video/music(sometimes as collabs but also their own stuff) with links to full versions.

Chloé's is.... Oddly positive but in that "look we can't always be all 'it's okay to be sad uwu'! Sometimes you have to be a bitch just be a bitch about the right things!"

Zoé has conspiracy theories of course. Oddly enough she ropes Alix and also Jalil into it and while it does stay in conspiracy territory it is historically informitive.

Mylene is very shy so while she'll appear in other videos, she mostly only makes videos herself as informative videos about current issues and the like.

Untitled Alien Team:

Ben's are mostly shitposts but it's onlu because he gives no context. In reality he's complaining about the other forms and their issues or general shapeshifter issues like "damn it I wish I had a tail 24/7". Sometimes gets into dark humor that makes the followers go ??????? Are you okay????

Gwen isn't big on Tiktok but will appear in everyone else's.

Kevin didn't have one at first but then Ben filmed him ranting about stupid car stuff of "damn it while I love having a job I wish some people would do basic fucking maintenance because how dare you treat a car like that?!?!?!?!" And now he has a channel of half "goddamn it don't fuck up your brakes!!" And half legit info on basic car maintenance.

Lilo still does Hula so a lot of her videos involve that, plus occasional shenanigans, plus cute videos of the various Experiments.

Team Phantom:

Danny's account is half shitposts, half "space is awsome!!!". Meanwhile 'Phantom' has an account that is even more shitposts, and also him being so very tired. Danny makes morbid humor jokes on both accounts.

Sam's are mostly informative about current issues. She and Mylene actually kinda know each other through these.

Jazz also makes more informative videos, and it's mostly mental health based.

Tucker's ia mostly a behind the scenes compilation of everyone else's.

Elle gets one to record her reactions to new experiences. Whether it be new foods or movies she's never seen. Her commenters are occasionally concerned how she doesn't know certain things. They think her saying "yeah I'm a clone and only technically like a year old" is a joke.

Valerie has a parkour one obvs.

There's an official Fentonworks one that all the kids show up on which has info on Ghosts, safety tips, and shows off some of the gadgets they make.

The Rainbooms:

Sunset made one to give tips to everyone who suddenly got Magic and answer questions about Equestria. But it got out of the circles it should be and people think it's an RP account.

Sci-Twi shows off so many gadgets.

Pinkie and AJ share a baking channel. AJ focuses more on home-y recipies and such while Pinkie is half "it's that fucking chocolate guy again!!" And half that one where the girl remakes the Webkinz recipie.

Rainbow is partly flight tricks but also has clips to promote the band.

Fluttershy braves the attention to show off proper animal care.

Misc one offs:

Zak goes full "Crocodile Hunter" and makes short documentaries on Cryptids. Someone comments "hey this is like that show 'Weird World' but better!" And a bunch of people reply and Zak just makes a video replying like "Ha! Take that you pale ass bitch!"

Kim Possible has one to show off gymnast/cheerleading moves(with a bonus of Ron cheering her cheering lmao)

Dippee and Mabel absolutely just document all the fuckery in Gravity Falls. With bonus versions where it's like "hold my drink and watch this!!!". Double bonus of taunting Bill when he comes back.

Jack Spicer also has an account to show off gadgets. He and Sci-Twi are in a friendly rivalry.

It’s over. The war for the discs, for L’Manburg, and the little sanity left of Dream. He’s locked up and everything else is going back to normal... that was my thought.

Until the egg.

The egg was growing before any of else knew. People either being effected two ways, or immune... Tommy thought that I was immune just like him, oh how wrong he was.

“Tommy, after the incident with Tubbo crying and Sam being held captive down there, I don’t know if I want to go.” I said a little uneasy with the way he was pulling me to the cause of all the blood vines and blocks.

“You’ll be fine Y/N! If I’m immune then you have to be as well! You just gotta! Plus, you have to see how weird it is.” Tommy replied back not processing the worry in my voice.

I rolled my eyes at the stupid answer. “That’s not a convincing answer Tommy, I don’t want this ‘egg’ to make me processed or something like that!” We were already climbing down the ladder. “Plus, if I’m not immune then what would we do?” I was starting to panic, I could hear... something.

“We’re almost there!” Tommy yelled back ignoring the previous question and turning around to see me trying to catch up.

I didn’t answer... I couldn’t with the loud voices ringing in my ear.

'This world is mine. It belongs to me' It got louder.

'I will give you your heart's desire. I will give you what you want' and louder, I started to close my eyes.

'Kill the boy. Tommy must die' My eyes snapped open, Kill Tommy?! No... I can’t kill Tomm-

“Wow! Don’t walk into lava you dummy!” Tommy snapped me out of my thoughts by placing a hand in front of me.

“S-sorry, I’m just nervous...” I lied with a sheepish smile. ‘I felt great.’

“So? How are you feeling?!”

I turned my head to the side and touched the surface with the tips of my figure. 'Kill the boy. Tommy must die' I retracted my hand and forced a bigger smile. “Great... I don’t feel or hear anything!” Again, I lied. ‘Yes, I’ll do it...’

“See, I was right! You are immune. I mean like, I’m always right so...” Tommy started to back away to the exit. “Oh, I totally forgot that Tubbo asked me to help him with something, I’ll be back!” Before I could respond he was already gone.

'Kill the boy. Tommy must die' ‘no’

My hands were clasped on my ears. My eyes were darting back and forth and my body was shaking violently. “No... yes... no! YES!” I was screaming, I can’t kill Tommy. He’s too dear to me... I can’t take his life, but part of me WANTS to.

“So the eggs has found someone new.” That voice, that person...

“Bad... what do you want from me?!” I stilled and put my hands down to my side.

'Kill the boy. Tommy must die' ‘yes’

“It’s not what I want, it’s what the egg wants... and by the way you were acting I can already tell you know.” His eyes were dull, they weren’t bright and filled with life anymore.

“You’ve changed Bad... What even happened to you?!” I said my shaking turning into light trembles.

'Kill the boy. Tommy must die' ‘no’

“Just doing my job Y/N... Now do what the egg says! I’ll come back in a few days to see the corpse... Good luck.” His voice held venom. He then hopped off the egg and disappeared.

~A couple of days later~

My mind was blanking more and more. I was just outside in the fields all day trying to get rid of my task.

Speak of the devil...

“Y/N! There you are, I was looking everywhere for you! How are you doing today?” Tommy said with a little frown.

“I’m doing alright... just tired, that’s all!” I hate lying... I hate pretending.

“Well that’s good. Oh, Tubbo wanted to know if you had any diamonds on you!”

Blood... it started to drip onto the dew covered grass, staining it with dots of crimson.

I slashed his cheek.

He placed his figures on the cut. “Y/N you...”

“I did! I attacked you! I hurt you! I’m JUST OBEYING!” I lifted my head, twitches and shakes. Resting on the tip of the blade, it started to dig into my cheek.

A/N: this surprisingly wrote itself, that’s how quick it was. it was nice to write this because i’ve been struggling with one of my stories atm and it feels nice to write something that’s not... that lol also i feel like this writing style is different from my own, but i kinda like it. anyway, lmk what you think. have a good day :)

"Hey guys, welcome back to my channel! As you know right now, I am on tour. It has been so amazing to meet all of you and to perform my new music and hear all the love you guys have for it. It’s really awesome." Y/N smiled sweetly into the camera.

"That being said, I thought I would do a lighter video today. So I asked you guys on twitter to tweet me questions. And here is what you guys asked."

After ten minutes of answering questions, ranging from favorite song off your album to first breakup experience, Y/N arrived at an interesting question.

"Okay, next question. From Alyssa, do you have a youtube crush?" She stated, staring at her phone intensely.

She chuckled to herself. "Wow... this isn't gonna be awkward." She continued, smiling. "Well, if I'm honest, I've had a huge crush on this cute duo name Sam and Colby. My crush is mostly centered on Colby since he's the single one. But I love their content, they are some of my favorite people to watch right now. Also they're really cute, so that's a plus."

She ran her fingers through her hair nervously. "Next question..."

Y/N didn't think anything of her answer. Was she truthful when she said she had a crush Colby? Yes. Did she think everyone was gonna make as big of a deal about it as they did? Absolutely not.

The moment her video came out, Colby's dms, comment sections, and tagged posts on every social media platform became about Y/N. He had never heard of her, mostly because he didn't watch musical youtubers outside of his friends.

Y/N didn't think Colby would ever see her video, or any of the countless dms her fans and his fans sent to him. It didn't help that after her video was posted, she wore an XPLR shirt at a show in Pennsylvania, causing more fans to pay attention to her apparent crush.

One day, Colby decided to look up Y/N. He found her youtube channel first, watching the infamous video of her admitting to having a crush on him. He was with Sam, Jake, and Corey, all of whom were interested to see her.

"She seems really dope." Corey spoke first, nodding his head softly.

Colby shrugged. "Yeah, I guess so. I've only seen this one video so far."

"You've gotta check out her singing. Kat watches her occasionally and says her voice is crazy good." Sam chimed in.

Jake leaned over to Colby. "Dude, she's talented, into you, and hot? Brother, dm her right now."

Colby laughed and shoved Jake away. "Sure thing, brother."

Later on when everyone went back to their apartments, Colby continued to watch her videos. He was surprised by her voice, how both angelic and raw it was. Her original songs were so deep and personal, it made him feel like he knew her. Her taste in music was also amazing, mostly because it was similar to his.

And Jake wasn't lying when he said she was attractive.

Colby went to her instagram. Her photos were mostly her, but also a lot of her fans and her at meet and greets. Every time she performed, she posted a photo of her and the crowd together. She truly loved her fans. It brought a smile to his face.

His thumb hovered over the 'Message' button. Should he really dm her? What should he even say?

He rolled his eyes as he typed out his message.

hey i know this is a bit awkward but a lot of my fans and your fans really want us to collab. i'm down to do one next time you're in la. hmu and let me know

He sighed, annoyed at his own inability to talk to someone he was vaguely attracted to. He was overthinking this whole thing. She probably won't even see i-

To say Y/N was nervous was an understatement. Y/N was essentially scared shitless. The idea of walking into Colby's apartment, after seeing it so many times in videos, was crazy. She still couldn't comprehend the fact that she was in an uber, on her way to his apartment.

After arranging a date to do the collab, they exchanged numbers. They had texted each other from time to time, mostly about what they were thinking of doing for their channels, but also random stuff they heard from their fans.

Because she admitted to having a crush on him, obviously people were shipping them together. Neither one of them minded. Both trying to play it off as if it was all in good fun and nothing more.

As Y/N got out of the uber, she sent a quick text to Colby. He buzzed her up, and she walked to the elevator, getting in and slowly climbing to the fifth floor.

520. That was his place.

The fifth ding brought her out of her anxiety for only a second. She took a breath as she walked down the hall.

517... 518... 519...

"Fuck." She exhaled, stepping up to the door.

Colby leaned against his counter, downing a bottle of water. Why was he so nervous? He had had pretty girls in his apartment before. This wouldn't be a first. But he couldn’t shake the feeling of butterflies in his stomach. He felt oddly like a teenager again, having nerves that he thought he had mostly gotten rid of, but he didn't know if that was good thing or a bad thing.

Three soft knocks came from his front door, causing him to jump slightly. He placed his water bottle down and slowly walked to the door. He took a breath and opened it.

They both stared at each other, not saying anything.

Colby cleared his throat, looking away briefly. "Hey."

"Hi." Y/N replied, smiling softly.

"Come on in." Colby moved out of the way, making room for her to enter.

Y/N glanced around his apartment. "It's nice to finally meet you." He stated.

"Same here. If I'm honest with you, I'm kinda fangirling right now." She admitted.

Colby raised his eyebrows. "Really?"

Y/N nodded her head. "Yeah, I've only been a fan for a year now, but I seriously love both yours and Sam's content. And then obviously the duo channel."

"Thank you. And I've become a fan of you now, actually."

"Oh really?"

"Your voice is so fucking amazing. And that one song, 'Let Me Waste', has been on repeat this whole past month for me." Colby blurted out.

She beamed. "Oh my God! Thank you so much, I'm so happy you like it. That's honestly my favorite song I've written so far. I'm having a show next week here in LA. I can set you and whoever else you want up with tickets if you're free."

Colby smiled brightly. "That would be sick. Thank you."

Y/N leaned against his kitchen counter. "You know what I realized recently? When we post our collabs, our fans are gonna fucking lose it."

"I know. I've had to hold back from hinting at it all this time." He agreed.

She giggled. "Same here."

A silence fell over the two of them. They gazed, lost in the moment of finally being near each other.

Colby stuttered. "A-Are you ready to get started?"

Y/N bit her lip. "Ready as I'll ever be."

1. what is your ideal setting for focusing on your writing?

Usually in the morning, or those rare occasions of 10p-midnight-ish. Coffee, woodwick candles, piano music only. I can’t focus on writing if there is any sort of talking or singing. Lately it’s been a lot of writing on the go on my laptop, in the car between jobs or before/after a shift, or if I just want to get out of the house. I drive a jeep so I go sit in the woods as often as possible when the weather is nice with the back open. Nature is a great muse!

2. what is your favorite genre to write?

I would love to say it’s romance, but I think- if I could even call this a genre- it is the kind of descriptive writing about expressions. In pain or pleasure and the feelings of it. I most enjoy writing with the intent to evoke a strong emotional response, whether it is fluffy giddiness, painful heartache or overwhelming love.

3. do you prefer to write on paper, or digitally?

I usually start on paper or on my phone just for synopses and then go digital in two drafts. I storyboard strictly on paper, in a notebook dedicated to writing. Ask @guardians-of-exo, she knows I’ve done a lot of research on things for our collab au, and all of the information I have is handwritten in that book. :) This also goes for drawing maps and charts to go with my work or blueprints of prevalent spaces in fics so I can remember what is where and such to manifest that greater sense of physical space. The more detailed I can be on paper the better.

4. it’s the middle of the night and you suddenly wake up with an idea. what do you do?

Grab my phone, curse at the brightness I forgot to turn down before bed, and then type out my idea in an app I use specifically for things like this. When I have ideas at work too and I’m not at my desk it’s nice to be able to put it in my phone for reference later.   

5. who is your favorite person to write about?

Y’all know it’s Junmyeon, right? I have told many of you when you’ve asked, but allotrope was all started because of how much depth I think Junmyeon has and I really wanted a chance to be able to explore some of those sides to him. I want to be able to say Chanyeol, because he is easy to write and love and have fun with and feel a lot of emotion for when he wears the essence of his soul on his sleeve so boisterously. Just, as is my style, I’m better at capturing the hidden moments of a person and I think I enjoy doing it just a little bit more.

6. do you like making your own characters, or do you usually write about real people?

So it actually took me over a year to take the next step and write about real, actual people. I felt like it was breaking some sort of respectful barrier and I had a lot of mixed feelings about it. Ultimately, I’m not writing anything about them with the intent to slander them in any way or harm them so I decided not to fight it. I only enjoy writing reader-inserts when I can be as absolutely obtuse with their looks and personality as possible. This has been quite the challenge in An Adventurer’s Guide to Romance in particular. Mie and I had a conversation about how difficult it is to write nine different reader-inserts for our boys. They need to feel vague so anyone can put themselves in those shoes, but they need to differ from the other 8 inserts because they show up in each other’s stories and I think writing the same personality nine times will get very old very fast.

7. have you ever written a book, or a story with more than 15 chapters (or 100k words)?

I’m not sure how good I feel about saying this because looking back it was literal trash, but I wrote 100k+ fics for Naruto back in the day so I’m used to writing long works. I think Moonchild will be over 100k when I’m done but I’m not sure. Allotrope will be close but not (sitting at 55k now), and the Chanyeol Dark Fic I have planned to write after Allotrope might be as well, I have no idea.

8. how often do you get ideas?

Hmmm, pretty much constantly? I definitely try to stick to the ones I think about the most or have the most world-building experience with. Thirst-trap ideas end up being shorter fics of course, but they’re no less fun or exciting to write! I quite enjoy dropping fics in less than a week since conception. The challenge is stressful but fun and rewarding when it’s out to the world and the excitement of fulfillment lingers! I also tend to stick with ones where I have a greater sense of emotional connection, or straight up fantasy au, LOL.

9. do you ever get an idea that you really like, but just can’t seem to finish?

I think this is what’s happening with Moonchild right now, haha! I haven’t written for it in almost a year, but the idea is still there and I’ve got paaaaggeessss of detail for it, plus the rest of the story is outlined. I just have to write and detail it! Too many other stories taking up my inspiration and motivation atm.

10. what is your least favorite plot?

I mean this in the nicest way- but plots for highschool aus (funny considering how fucking W E A K I am for college coffee shop aus) or fics where there are copious original characters. Y/N doesn’t need a posse to bitch about so-and-so. I think the only fics I’ve read where this was absolutely not a bother and made the stories better were Steph’s Sweeter Than Sweet (Sam, who became a prevalent character and was not over-done), and Sarah’s Welcome to the Exodus Mall series where she has done something similar to AAGTR- in that each member knows one another and their respective love interests do, too, so a few have names or aliases. I’m certain I’ve not read them all though so if you have any recommendations to sway me, send them my way! I don’t hate them, I just think they’re at the bottom of my sought-after tropes!
