Nightmare Torchic

Another collab with glacierwyrm. There will be more! I felt like doing something creepy this time around. I'm a big fan of horror, so I dedicate this one to old Pokémon creepypastas. It's not referencing anything in particular, just the general vibes. The way Smilo had originally drawn the eyes made me think of Majora's Mask, which is definitely the reason I took this in a horror direction. I used tsiox's Distortion Brushes 2 to make the effects.

subtlety has never been a friend to morgana, not in anything she ever did, and quite notably absent in all that she is. morgana is an all-consuming, effervescent flame — in spite of the darkness surrounding her in a shrouded veil so thick that everyone beyond its curtain looked upon her and wondered if she was suffering within — that illuminates an entire room without even a faltering flicker, no matter how small the light dims and wanes into shadow. there is something wickedly curious about the coy smile playing over the breadth of plush lips, in the rose carefully dusted over the apples of marble-carved cheeks, as she discreetly slides a small black USB stick across the flat tabletop.

the songstress grins wolfishly at sylas sitting just across from her. she may have twisted her agent's arm into figuring out how to get her into contact with sylas, and they begrudgingly delivered. her smile softens again, but this time she peers into the man's deep blue eyes and reaches out to the tides within, compelling the inner seas closer to bend to her bewitching whims with naught else but a pleading bat of her raven wing lashes.

" i know your reputation, and surely you know mine, " morgana starts, keeping her gaze firm. she leaves the thumb drive by sylas's hands and retracts her own to wrap back around the warm cup of coffee before she lifts it for a quick sip. " beyond that, don't you think we could make a beautiful collaboration of sound together? and just imagine the promotional photoshoots for the concepts. i can see it now, can't you? a number one hit single. we could even do a whole EP, if you wanted. i've certainly got ideas for one, but i'd love to hear your thoughts, your vision. what do you say? "
