There's nothing like petting Scratch to make me face the fact that my paladin has unwashed-ass yellow teeth. Apparently, he has a blue tongue like a skink but his gums are pink.

Also, interesting teeth pattern, and I wonder if it's the same in the other dragonborn head models. He has two bigger fang-like pairs of teeth in the lower jaw and nothing of corresponding size in the upper jaw. This would explain a slight underbite he seems to have that becomes visible from certain angles.

Okay so I'm watching the movie Pleasantville, 1998 film.

And there are some dark implications.

So in Pleasantville they get color by doing something "new", something they view as "out of character" for themselves. Wikipedia describes it as "new bursts of emotion, and foreign concepts". Jen comments that a lot of the girls at school get color after having sex. For the her it's studying. For David it's anger and getting into a fistfight. For Betty, a woman who always does everything make everyone else happy, it's masterbation(literally self satisfying herself. And honestly I think I could write an essay on that alone).

During the turning point, we see people going nuts and rioting and burning buildings and tearing businesses apart. Literally busting windows in the soda shop, breaking and entering, destroying the soda shop and property within. All not getting any color. We see them chasing women and sexually harassing them in the streets. Still getting no color.

The implications there are terrifying. These people have felt these emotions, have done these things, have thought about these concepts before. If they hadn't they would get color. So the things that must be going on behind the scenes of this "pleasant" little town...well

something to note re: maria's aliases that i hadnt thought of when making that quick post with the two additional personas being added but,

said before how as the aliases start with maria, then they end at magdalena -- and what i mean by that is, ofc maria is always the starting point to where she takes any of the aliases during hunts. and every single one of them, in turn, can switch and end in magdalena. magdalena comes out primarily later on, namely post-nancy acceptance into the family or when johnny kills her in order to keep maria ( & lee in nosy ) safe. but its the careful alias. the calculated one. the shut down, shut off everything -- brutal one. magdalena is where, especially, anything that nancy eventually teaches her re: her abilities comes into play.

and with paloma -- one of the two new aliases -- paloma i feel comes into play when nancy ran her little tests on her ( & lee ). we were chatting abt it earlier, and i know nancy pulls maria & lee into few challenging encounters in order to see if they're worth keeping around -- and part of paloma's thing is, biting off more than you can chew. theres something in maria, i feel, that shortcircuits during those challenges that hasnt happened yet in cc / nosy timelines, and it draws out something different in her. she returns after nancys finished in fairly rough shape i feel. moreso than she has with any other target, any other hunt -- because normally, she isn't alone like that. not completely. theres a type of rage, self-preservation thats drawn out from cornered prey animal.

I have skin face discoloration because of contact dermatitis so half of my face is reddish and half of it is ivory-ish. If I don't wear foundation it looks like I'm blushing or my face got sunburn and it looks funny lmao
