𝐢𝐧 𝐰𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐡 … you decided after colby’s surprised birthday get together, to give colby an extra present at the end of the night
✦ … “okay everyone ready? he’s going to be here any second now.” you shouted across the room.
you had planned a surprised birthday party for colby’s 28th birthday. you only had invited a few people knowing colby would rather only have his close friends be invited.
everyone nodded and sam stood beside you. “thanks so much for doing this yn. honestly im so happy he found you.”
your heart warmed at sam’s words. “of course.” you smiled hearing the front doorknob wiggle. you quickly looked around shushing everyone as sam went to turn off the lights.
you all heard the front doorknob jiggle and then the door open, his footsteps echoing down the hall.
you were all crouching in the corner before colby spoke up. “baby?” he whispered before he turned on the lights. everyone jumped up shouting, “surprise!!”
his face lit up shocked and a bit stunned. “holy shit!” his smile grew bigger once he laid eyes on you. he walked toward you as people greeted him happy birthday. he thanked them before making his way to you. “you did all of this for me?” his cheeks were flushed.
you bit back a grin. “of course…” you grabbed his face placing a light kiss. “let’s have fun.” you playfully winked.
the night went on, perfect and with no problems. it consisted of laughter, nostalgic conversations, and toasts to the beautiful birthday boy.
even though all his friends attended, colby found himself still beside you all night. his hand would occasionally find yours and squeeze it as if to ground himself through the night.
as the party was ending and everyone had left, it was just you two in your shared room. he changed just wearing his boxers while you were still in your mini dress. colby spoke quietly, “thank you yn. this was the best birthday gift ever.”
you fiddled with the zipper of your dress waiting for the perfect moment to present itself and it just did. “i’m glad you enjoyed yourself, you deserve it.” you walked forward crawling on the bed before straddling him. your hands combed through his hair as you spoke up again. “but i saved the best gift for last.” your voice dipped seductively.
colby’s eyes widened noticing how warm your centers felt as they connected. his cheek turned an adorable shade of pink as he felt himself stiffen in his boxers. he let out a hesitant sigh. “yn…” he murmured, his hands tentatively settling on your hips.
you leaned forward settling your lips against his ear. “shh.” you whispered leaning closer so you could whisper in his ear. “let me take care of you.”
his hands became tighter on your waist. “you always do, yn.” he said just as quietly as you did, feeling goosebumps spread throughout his body.
you tilted his head grabbing his jaw to look at you. “not like this. tonight is special… i want to make it special for you.” your eyes trailed down to his lips placing a soft kiss.
his eyes flicked between yours, searching. “you don’t have to do this for me…” he bit his lip nervously. “i don’t need all this especially since you’ve already done so much.. i…” his voice was soft and hesitant.
“it’s not about what you need baby. i want to do this for you.” your hands settled on the bottom of his stomach just above his v line. “if you’ll let me.” you whispered finally, not wanting him to become uncomfortable.
colby swallowed harshly, his fingers fiddling with the fabric of your dress as he processed your words. “you’re really something else, y’know that?”
you grinned brushing your nose against his wanting to connect your lips passionately but you held yourself back. “mm, i hope you mean good with that statement.”
he exhaled a shaky laugh relaxing a bit. “of course.” his hands moved down to rest on your soft thighs. “you’re too good to me yn.” his smile was gone and replaced with another expression you couldn’t quite read.
you leaned closer, your lips brushing against his. “you deserve it. let me show you…” your hands wrapped around his neck. “let me show you how much you mean to me.”
his breathing shuddered with a nod. his voice soft and vulnerable spoke up, “okay.” he whispered. “i trust you. jus’ … be patient with me, yeah?”
you nodded caressing his cheek. “always.”
colby’s face seemed to visibly relax as his hands made their way up and down your thighs. you took his hands and guided them behind you toward your back. “unzip my dress?” you asked quietly, licking your bottom lip.
he nodded, his shaky hands grasping the metal before pulling it down. as soon as it was off he helped slide it down your shoulders. once it was fully off he saw what you wore underneath.
he gulped eyes scanning down the delicate lace that was over your skin. his hands felt all over your body admiring how beautiful you looked. “how’d i get so lucky?” he whispered to himself.
your heart warmed smiling before pulling his face towards yours in a kiss. it was passionate filled with so much love and appreciation. you both made out for a while, grinding against each other doing anything for that sense of relief before you couldn’t wait any longer.
your hand came between you both palming his erection. he groaned loudly unable to control himself. his hands moved over your breasts then your hips. he couldn’t keep his hands off you.
his actions and desperate behavior gave you an idea. you smiled as you moved off of him quickly and grabbed his dark red tie that he had been previously wearing.
you took colby’s hands and wrapped the soft silk around his wrists before wrapping it around one of the bars behind him. when you finished the tie, he was successfully connected to the bed frame. you searched his face to make sure he was okay with it. he looked so helpless. he wore a pout as he tugged on the tie.
you grabbed his chin delicately tilting his head up to look at you rather than the lingerie you were wearing. “gonna be a good boy?” you whispered, your hands trailing down to the waistband of his boxers.
his chest moved up and down, his breaths shaky. your hand finally reached his v line. you slid your fingers inside getting closer and closer to where he needed you the most.
you teased him scratching his skin lightly. he whimpered bucking his hips up to you causing him to receive some friction. he let out a gasp. he kept his actions up, his hands tugging on the tie as he did so. you tutted, “be good. i’ll make you feel sooo good as long as you listen to me. can you do that?”
he tilted his head to the side with a pained expression before nodding. “mmph, yes … yes i’ll be good. please yn, you can touch me now please.” you’d never seen this side of colby before but you loved it.
you rubbed onto him once, earning a bit back moan from his lips. you loved the way he bit his own lip trying to control himself. the way his eyes squeezed shut. it was such a beautiful view. even though you would’ve liked to enjoy it longer, you couldn’t. your arousal was starting to leak through your underwear.
you felt yourself and how much you needed him. you looked up at colby to see his desperate stare already on you. “m’gonna ride you, can i do that?” he nodded tugging on the tie that was withholding him. you grinned at the restraint. “jus’ keep being good then maybe i’ll let you touch me, yeah?” he nodded as whines escaped his throat.
you looked down and slid colby’s boxers just enough for you to let out his hard cock. it was glistening with pre cum and twitched a bit at the sensation of not being suppressed by his boxers. you grabbed his dick and pumped a few times feeling it twitch in your hand before you took the fabric that was covering your center and pulled it to the side.
you got on your knees settling above his cock before you felt him nudge your center. you couldn’t help but let out a gasp. your eyes met colby’s. his mouth was wide open already feeling how soaked you were.
you went ahead and started to sink down onto him earning a guttural moan. you let out a tiny moan as well feeling how big and filling he was. “oh yes…” you sighed, loving the way he stretched you out.
you couldn’t waste any time, you need him so badly you started to move up and down immediately. you felt him already nudging your sweet spot. to maintain balance you placed your hands on his shoulders to give you strength and help you get less tired out.
long moans continuously escaped colby’s mouth. he was feeling euphoric. he wanted to touch you desperately. he wanted to feel your skin, how soft it felt, wanted to squeeze your hips. “m’please yn, let me touch you? i’ve been a good boy haven’t i? just wanna touch you.” he begged starting to thrust up into you.
your moans we’re cut off by his words. you opened your eyes trying to keep your movements up despite that pleasure coursing through your body. “beg me more.” you breathlessly demanded moving up and down onto his cock.
he gulped as your words echoed through the noise of your pretty pussy wrapped around your dick. the way whenever you dropped down all you heard was your skin slapping together.
he thought of your words again willing to do anything to be able to touch you. it would be too late if he waited any longer. “please! please… mommy please let me touch you. i’ve been so good…” he whined throwing his head back at the ride of pleasure that coursed through him.
the name he called you pushing you closer to the edge. “yeah? you’ve been my good boy?”
he nodded eagerly. “mhm! i have… i have…” the pleasure was at the tip of becoming too much when you finally grabbed hold of the tie on his hand pulling on one string. once colby felt the tie loosen he was quick to bring his hands up to your face and pull you to his capturing your lips.
your moans mixing together as you both grunted and gasped. your hands still on his shoulder as you moved up and down. it was one final thrust when you groaned harshly into colby’s mouth feeling your legs give out.
colby noticed and was quick to follow, feeling his dick twitch inside you and his hips buck once before he came, coating your walls white.
you found yourself grinding on his dick providing stimulation to your clit as you came down from your high.
your chest was heaving up and down as beads of sweat made their way down your forehead.
a few minutes later you were cuddling up close to colby with him still buried inside you. “i don’t wanna move.” he groaned, holding you closer.
you laughed pulling away really quickly to place a kiss on his lips. “a few more seconds then let’s shower, yeah?” you combed his sweaty hair back.
“deal.”

"Guys, today we have some very special guests. You literally spent months asking us to do a collaboration with them." Colby said as he walked through the Driskill Hotel Hall with Sam at his side holding the camera. "The Sturniolo Triplets and Y/N!" The brunette finished, pointing to the four mentioned while the camera lens focused on them.
The duo had just finished their initial presentation of the channel and the place where they were, happy to finally do something that their fans had asked for so much.
"Are you guys excited?" Colby asked, clasping his hands in front of his chest as he looked at them with excitement on his features.
"Super excited." The triplets responded at the same time, smiling broadly.
"Very!" Y/N responded from beside Matt, her left hand rested on the brunette's covered back while Matt's right arm wrapped around her shoulder.
"Are you guys scared, nervous, or just excited?" Colby asked again, looking briefly at the camera.
"I'm scared." Chris responded quickly, his hands resting on his waist.
"I'm terrified." Nick admitted without reservation, receiving laughter from everyone there.
"I'm super excited, a little nervous, but super excited." Y/N spoke, nodding as a smile spread across her face.
"We wanted to ask this to you specifically. You're a medium, right?" Sam asked from behind the camera, adjusting it in his hands so that the lens caught the four of them and Colby, but with the focus on Y/N.
"Yes I am." The girl nodded.
"She's Lorraine Warren herself." Nick interrupted, pointing briefly at Y/N with his left hand.
"It's not that big of a deal, Nick." She rolled her eyes, not holding back her smile when she saw the boys laughing at the oldest of the triplets' joke.
"But you're good, right? We watched some videos and podcasts of the triplets, and they commented a few times in them about you being a medium." Colby took the lead, looking at her carefully, hoping she could help them with the investigation of that video.
"She is great." Matt spoke before Y/N could open her mouth, carrying a big smile on his face and a proud look in his eyes.
"I don't consider myself great." The girl rolled her eyes at her boyfriend's comment, feeling her cheeks heat up. "I've always had this 'power'." She made the quotation mark gesture with her hands. "I can see, hear, and feel. I remember that when I was a child, I didn't understand anything, and I was scared to death, especially because people said that only I could do those things, I felt crazy. Until my mother took me to my grandmother when I was 9 years old, and they explained it to me together. My grandmother was a great medium, and apparently, that passed on to me." She explained briefly.
"So you can do all three? And you have control over them?" Sam asked from behind the camera again.
"It depends on what the spirit or demon wants. I can feel anything, both energy and proximity. As for hearing or seeing, it depends on whether the spirit wants me to see or hear them. But when they want, I do all three perfectly, everything becomes very clear to me, as if they were really there in the flesh." Y/N explained, receiving nods from Nick and Chris, who were next to her paying attention to her words, even though they already knew that.
"And how do you react to that? You live together, right?" Colby turned to the brothers, bringing their attention to them.
"Yes, we always knew that Y/N was a medium since we all grew up together in Boston. When we moved in together after moving to LA, we not only knew, but we started living it." Nick began explaining, his eyes going from his brothers to Sam and Colby.
"Yes, she never went into much detail about what she saw or heard because we were always a little scared-"
"You're all pussy's." Y/N cut Chris off, releasing the sentence with a smirk on her face. Colby laughed loudly, shaking his head.
"Thank you, my love." Matt scoffed, getting a "your welcome" in return.
"It has become normal for us to be talking to her, and out of nowhere, she looks at a specific point that, for us, has nothing. Or she stops paying attention to what we are saying to listen to something that someone from beyond is saying." Chris continued after rolling his eyes at his sister-in-law, already used to her jokes.
"Yes, it's scary. Sometimes, she wakes up in the middle of the night and stares into space, sitting on top of our bed. I just pull the blanket over my head and pretend I'm not seeing it happening." Y/N slapped Matt's arm after his comment, muttering a "best boyfriend ever".
"Do you think you'll be able to capture the movements here well?" Colby turned to her, looking at her with a curious look.
"I hope so. I'm hopeful that they will be open to me and show me what I need to know." Y/N nodded, breaking into a smile.
Matt moved his right hand down to Y/N's left, intertwining their fingers and caressing his girlfriend's soft skin with his thumb, knowing how much she was looking forward to the video and wanting to feel helpful, even if she didn't need to be a super medium for this.

The six were now standing near the staircase where Samantha had apparently died after chasing a ball and tripping, rolling down the stairs.
Sam was standing on the second step while Matt and Chris were on the left side of the staircase, Matt leaning on the handrail, and Nick on the right side as they listened to the blonde's explanation.
Y/N was a little further away, Sam's voice was muffled to her while her ears picked up indecipherable whispers from all sides, as if many people were trying to ask for help, explain what happened at the hotel and sending hateful comments at the same time.
Matt's presence approaching her broke her from her trance, making her look up at him, seeing his worried expression.
"Is everything okay, baby?" He asked in a low voice, not wanting to attract the attention of the others.
"Yeah, I'm just trying to get a feel of the environment." Y/N responded in the same tone of voice, smiling softly, trying to calm her boyfriend and herself.
She was already used to seeing and hearing spirits since she had done it all her life, but this experience was different from any other she had ever had.
Nick looked at her momentarily, asking her if she was okay with just a move of his lips, receiving a nod in return.
Y/N decided to get closer to the others so she could focus on their main mission there, receiving answers from the spirits through the lanterns.
"Samantha, are you the only one up here on the stairs?" Matt asked after the boys asked several questions, his right hand holding Y/N's, trying to convey comfort.
"No." Y/N replied seconds before the red flashlight turned on, receiving looks from the five on her.
"Do you see any other ghosts up here?" Sam asked, watching Y/N's reactions carefully.
"Yes, I can't see them all clearly. Many are blurred, but I can see at least three up here, besides Samantha." The girl explained, briefly pointing to the spots where she saw the three aforementioned ghosts before turning her attention to the boys.
"Can you see Samantha?" Chris asked, raising his eyebrows, his blue eyes wide in curiosity.
"No, she doesn't want me to see her. But I feel her... Here." Y/N counted, closing her eyes briefly before pointing to a specific spot between Colby and Nick.
Nick looked at the indicated spot, moving away and going to Matt and Chris' side, feeling shivers run up his spine. Colby focused the camera on there, as if waiting for something to reveal itself to the lens.
Matt looked up at his girlfriend, watching her carefully, trying to make sure she was okay.

The six were now on the mezzanine, ready to stand in front of old mirrors, which were very expensive, while they tried to call for spirits through them, specifically for Carlota.
"Hey Carlota, we have five men here, but only four are single, and one of them is off limits." Matt began, looking around briefly as his right arm held Y/N close to him by her waist, not wanting to lose sight of her in the dark of the room.
Colby and Chris began to say pick-up lines into the air as they looked around blindly, causing Y/N to laugh. She couldn't believe they were actually doing that.
The scent of roses intensified around the group, making the girl divert her attention from the boys and also look around, looking for a source of the smell.
An intense tug on her hair made her take a step back, her hands flying to the spot as if she was trying to feel someone there, turning around abruptly.
"What was that?" Colby asked, stopping in the middle of one of his nonsensical pick-up lines.
"Someone pulled my hair." Y/N responded quickly, keeping her gaze firmly on the space where she felt a presence.
Matt turned to look at where his girlfriend was looking, keeping his hand in contact with her body, wanting to make sure she was still there.
"Are you sure that-" Chris began, stopping mid-sentence when he saw Y/N stumble forward, causing Matt's hand to lose contact with her body.
"Why don't you appear in front of me instead of pushing me around, Carlota?" Y/N spoke out loudly, her tone angry while her eyes rolled across the room, feeling several presences and trying to look for Carlota among them.
"Wow, calm down, baby." Matt asked, moving closer and touching her shoulder, only to have Y/N pushed to the side again.
It was obvious that that spirit, Carlota, if Y/N's intuition was right, didn't like the girl there for some reason. This was made clearer by the fact that she only pushed Y/N but didn't even touch the others.
"Are you sure it's Carlota?" Sam asked from behind the camera, zooming in on the lens and moving it so the camera captured the entire place.
"I can't see her, but I feel her presence. And it would make sense. She likes to be pampered and praised by men, having another woman in the same room as her might offend her." The girl explained.
"Or make her feel threatened." Nick added, receiving a nod from Y/N, who was still looking at specific points in the room.
"Get out." A whisper echoed directly against the girl's right ear, making her turn around abruptly, seeing only the female silhouette for a few seconds, before it disappeared like smoke.
Matt approached Y/N quickly as he saw her begin to show her nervousness, wrapping his arm around her waist firmly again, marking his territory and taking on a serious expression, looking around as if confronting whatever was there.
“You are not allowed to touch Y/N.” Matt stated, his voice echoing in a serious tone, tightening his grip on the curve of his girlfriend's waist.
The six stood in silence for a few minutes, waiting for something to happen again, but nothing happened.
"Matt took a firm stance, which probably proved to Carlota, or whoever was doing it, that they shouldn't touch Y/N." Colby explained to the camera. "If it worked so quickly, it probably means you have an aura similar to mine." He turned to Matt, who looked back at him with a confused look, not understanding what that meant.
"It is said that the spirits are afraid of Colby because he has a very "firm" aura, which scares them and makes them obey him." Sam explained, lowering the camera a little so he could get a better look at the couple.
"That explains why the manifestations at home lessen when Matt is around me." Y/N contemplated, bringing her right hand to Matt's left on her waist, stroking the area lightly in gratitude.
Colby resumed his explanation of what they would do in the room after noticing that nothing else would happen to Y/N, focusing his attention on the camera lens.
Matt brought his face closer to the top of his girlfriend's head, sealing his lips in the area for a few seconds, before moving away and exhaling the smell of shampoo and perfume that Y/N exuded, calming himself down.
"You guys are so cheesy." Nick interrupted their moment with a smile on his face, getting closer to feel some sense of comfort.
Y/N just laughed as she rolled her eyes, resting her head on her boyfriend's covered chest, feeling grateful to have him there to protect her.
     ༻﹡﹡﹡﹡﹡﹡﹡༺
"Do you want to do it yourself?" Sam asked Matt.
Matt and Sam had just gotten out of the elevator after doing the ritual, which brought no results. The boys that stayed behind were surprised, saying that the ritual lasted just a few minutes, less than they expected.
Y/N was next to Nick, looking carefully inside the elevator as if expecting something to appear there, but there weren't even any traces of ghosts, which left her confused.
Matt looked at Sam for a few seconds after his question, shrugging as if to say, "I'm already here, why not?"
"Babe, can I come with you?" The girl's voice sounded among the group, making everyone look at her briefly.
Matt nodded quickly, feeling relief fill his heart, knowing that he wouldn't have to do it alone anymore. He raised his left hand in the air, waiting for his girlfriend to take it, intertwining their fingers tightly.
"What if you never come back?" Nick began, making Y/N roll her eyes.
"I promise I'll bring him back intact." The girl interrupted the drama. "I'm Lorraine Warren, remember? I'm going to protect my Ed Warren." She added, making everyone laugh.
"Send me the numbers." The brunette asked, looking at Sam as he fished his phone out of his jeans pocket.
The couple entered the elevator, Matt holding the camera in one hand and his phone in the other.
"Don't forget to say "take me to another world"." Sam remembered before the doors closed, the two of them repeating the words being the last thing he heard.
"Okay, let's do this." Matt unlocked his phone screen, opening the messaging app and clicking on Sam's chat, seeing the texts with the numbers.
Y/N read over her boyfriend's shoulder before leaning over and clicking the button for the first floor, taking a deep breath.
"Are you okay, baby?" Matt asked in a low voice, arranging the camera in his hands so that the lens framed the two of them before turning his head to look at her.
"Yeah, just nervous." Y/N began, turning to face her boyfriend while putting on a nervous smile, cracking her fingers in an act of anxiety. "It's just been too much, I've never felt so many presences at the same time."
"I know, baby. I'm here-"
Matt stopped mid-sentence when the elevator door opened, the two of them turning to the it quickly, their eyes traveling down the hallway, scanning the place.
A sigh escaped Matt's lips when nothing happened, his hands relaxing and the camera moving slightly as he leaned in to click the next button.
He reread the texts sent by Sam before putting away his phone, taking his free hand to Y/N's shoulders and pulling her close, the warmth of her body calming him.
"You're brave today. I like this new Matt." The girl commented a few seconds later, looking up, her eyes meeting the blue ones she loved so much. Matt smirked, lowering himself momentarily, sealing his lips over Y/N's forehead.
The two remained in that position, their heartbeats accelerating each time the elevator doors opened again, before they relaxed when nothing happened.
Until the fifth floor, where supposedly a "lady" should enter the elevator. Y/N stood still when the doors opened, the hair on her arms stood up and her heart seemed to freeze for a few seconds before speeding up, feeling like her entire body trembled with each beat.
"Matt." Her voice sounded broken and weak. "She... She's right there." Y/N muttered, raising her right arm and pointing out of the elevator. Her gaze seemed to be glazed over.
Matt swallowed hard, tightening his hand around his girlfriend, wanting to make sure she didn't leave his side. He arranged the camera so that the lens was focused outside, although neither he nor the camera were capturing anything.
"She's not coming in. Something seems to be stopping her. But she's so angry." The girl said, her voice full of emotions, looking like she was about to cry.
"Alright, that's enough. Let's go back." Matt interrupted, leaning in and clicking the button to go down, placing himself in front of his girl, with the intention of protecting her or taking her attention away from the figure.
The elevator began to slowly close, the doors appearing to be held by something.
When it finally did, Matt turned to Y/N, lowering the camera momentarily and focusing all of his attention on her.
"Baby, are you with me? Are you back?" The boy asked in a low, soft voice, afraid of scaring her even more. His blue eyes looked into his girlfriend's, hoping to see them come into focus again.
Y/N blinked repeatedly before finally looking at Matt.
"Yes, I-I'm sorry." She asked, her voice coming out weak. She closed her lips in a thin line, trying to hold back the post-adrenaline crying.
"Hey, don't apologize, you didn't do anything wrong. Are you okay, baby? I just need to know this." The brunette was worried, he felt his heart tighten at his girl's features, and if he could, he would pass on everything she saw and felt to himself, just to spare her from all that.
"Now I am. I promise." The girl responded, nodding her head and offering him a small smile.
The sound of the elevator doors opening interrupted them, making Matt turn his back to Y/N and face the boys waiting for them, Colby already with his camera in hand and the lens focusing on the inside of the place.
"Wow, don't tell me you guys were- Wait, is everything okay?" Nick started the joke, believing that they would be kissing due to their position, but stopping in the middle of it when he noticed the expressions on Y/N's face.
"Y/N saw the "lady" who was supposed to enter the elevator on the fifth floor." Matt said, taking his girl's hand and guiding her out of it carefully.
"What?"
     ༻﹡﹡﹡﹡﹡﹡﹡༺
The group was now in room 525, ready to do the Estes Method.
Y/N was sitting on the edge of the bed, next to Matt, and facing the chair where the other two brothers would do the method. She had a soft smile on her face as she saw her boyfriend and brothers spouting barbs, creating a pleasant atmosphere, before Nick and Chris got under.
The girl kept her eyes glued to the duo, refusing to look around her despite hearing whispers. The words that Nick and Chris repeated, she could hear seconds before, sometimes even phrases, but she didn't want to pay attention to the ghosts there. Y/N wanted to know what they wanted them to know, and she would only get it if she heard what Chris and Nick heard.
The words came disconnected and fast. It seemed like the two were in an argument, often even complementing each other's phrases.
"Y/N." Nick spoke suddenly, his nose wrinkling under the red blindfold as if trying to understand where that came from, or hear better what it meant.
Matt quickly brought his right hand to Y/N's left thigh, maintaining direct contact with her as he kept his eyes fixed on Nick, a serious expression on his face.
"Unwelcome here." Chris spoke next.
Colby felt his fingers on the camera shake slightly. He knew well what was happening here, having already been through the same situation with Sam and their psychic friend, Amanda. He looked at Y/N with a worried expression, followed by Sam, who went over and sat on the bed next to the girl.
Matt pressed his fingers over his girlfriend's covered skin, taking a deep breath. He couldn't believe this was really happening.
"Yeah, it seems like the ghosts hate me." Y/N spoke with a nervous smile, letting out a low laugh, trying to calm the tense atmosphere that had settled.
She finally looked up and around the room, easily finding the ghost who had said that.
The "lady" from the elevator was next to Chris, staring at her with the same anger as before, showing her hatred for the girl's presence there. It was obvious that she didn't want Y/N in her hotel, but no one there understood why.
"Out."
"Her."
"Now."
"What the hell?" Y/N exclaimed milliseconds after Chris said the last word, turning around abruptly when she felt something grab her arm and let go seconds later, but curiously, her eyes didn't catch anything.
"Okay, I think that's good for now." Sam said after seeing her reaction, getting up from the bed and touching Nick and Chris, making them take off their headphones and blindfolds.
"Apparently, I'm unwelcome here." Y/N was the first to speak after getting the attention of the other two brothers. "Something just touched me, I swear."
"I just don't understand. Why would they try to attack Y/N? It doesn't make sense." Matt asked, turning to Colby in hopes of him having an answer, as he moved closer to Y/N on the mattress, trying to give her some reassurance.
"I don't know, sometimes spirits just choose one person to terrorize or attach to, and only they know why. Sam went through something similar once." Colby explained, pointing briefly at the blonde, who nodded.
The girl sighed, it's obvious that they would choose her, after all she could see and hear them. She looked around the room again, drowning out the sound of the boys' voices. Her attention was drawn to the bathroom, which had its door opened by Matt earlier.
She felt a presence there. It certainly wasn't evil, and it seemed to be calling for her, as if it needed her to come in there.
"Guys, why don't we try again, but in the bathroom?" Y/N interrupted Nick's sentence - without even knowing what he was saying -, turning to the boys with a firm look.
"Baby, are you sure? I think we're past your limit." Matt asked, uncertainty settling into his gaze as his blue eyes ran over his girlfriend's features, as if searching for any sign of fear there, but finding nothing but firmness.
"I'm sure, I feel like there's something there that needs to talk to us."
Minutes later the six had organized themselves in the small bathroom; Colby was standing in the bathtub while Matt sat on the edge of it, Nick was sitting on the closed toilet and Chris was leaning on the sink, both looking at his brother. Sam was standing in the doorway, still with the camera in hand, while Y/N was sitting on the floor, between Matt's legs and looking up, her eyes focused on her boyfriend's blindfold covered face.
Y/N had her right hand on Matt's thigh, caressing the skin carefully, trying to reduce the boy's anxiety and nervousness, knowing that despite him trying to be thought, he was afraid of what might happen, or if he would even be able to hear anything.
"A very deep breath." Matt spoke for the first time after going under, his voice coming out loud before mimicking the breath he heard.
Y/N frowned, looking around but seeing nothing. Seconds later, she felt goosebumps run down her arm and a wind on her right side, as if something had passed there and settled next to Matt.
"Love." Matt got the first word out.
"Is that why you're here? Because you love the hotel?" Sam asked from behind the camera.
"Couple."
"Are there any couples here with us?" Colby asked, pinching his lips with his fingers as he tried to think of possibilities, but there was no response from the boy.
“Are you referring to Y/N and Matt?” Chris asked suddenly, causing Y/N to look at him quickly, her eyes wide.
"Beautiful."
"Do you think they're both beautiful together?" Nick asked this time, resting his left foot lightly against Y/N's thigh, trying to keep her calm.
"Angry."
"Are you angry because they are a beautiful couple?" Sam asked, his brow furrowed in confusion.
"Room."
"Wait, that makes sense. There was a woman in the room while Nick and Chris were doing the Estes Method, it was the same lady from the elevator, and she was very angry about something, just like she was when I saw her in the actual elevator." Y/N explained, lifting her head and briefly looking at Colby, who carried a concentrated look. "She was staring at me with hatred, as if I had done the worst thing in the world."
"Angry."
"Wow, that's the fourth time tonight that the same word has been repeated." Colby murmured, his eyes wide.
"Is the woman in the room mad that Matt and I are a couple?" Y/N asked with uncertainty in her voice. She didn't understand why a many years old ghost would be angry at their relationship.
"Envy."
At that moment, Y/N felt a new presence in the bathroom, as if something had left the room and entered there, it being filled with hatred. The girl looked up and saw the same woman, this time closer, looking at her with the same look as before, but for some reason she didn't try to touch Y/N, or she couldn't.
"She's-" Y/N's sentence was cut off by Matt, who repeated words again.
"Touch. Hurt. Y/N." Matt spoke the words without pause, his hands flying to the headphones and quickly taking it off, followed by the blindfold. "No, you can't touch her. She's not yours." Matt growled angrily, standing up and pulling Y/N by her arms, making her stand beside him, before pulling her tightly to his side and wrapping his arm protectively around her shoulder. "You're not allowed to touch any of us, especially her." The boy finished, his blue eyes traveled around the bathroom, as if he was trying to find where the entity was.
"What the fuck dude?" Sam quickly lowered the camera, looking at everyone there in shock.
Chris and Nick took a rigid stance, as if they were ready to help their brother if necessary, despite there being nothing they could do against a ghost.
“Are you okay, Y/N?” Nick turned, looking at her with careful eyes, trying to read the girl's expressions.
"Yeah, she didn't actually touch me, but it was intense... I'm just scared. At least she's not here anymore." Y/N sighed, leaning into Matt, who patted her shoulder affectionately.
"That was crazy man. I didn't think the night would turn into this." Colby muttered, stepping out of the tub.
"It's okay, it's over now." Matt whispered in Y/N's ear, embracing her into his arms. She took a deep breath, breathing Matt's scent in, calming her nerves down.
The ghosts really hated her.

Pranked! ~ Brother!Colby Brock
Tumblr media
Over the past few weeks, your older brother, Colby, had been doing many little pranks on you and you had finally decided it was time to get your revenge, with a little help from Sam.
"He's going to lose it." Sam said, once you told him your idea.
"It will be funny. Don't worry he won't think it's you, if that's what your worried about." You said.
Your idea was the classic pregnancy prank. Your boyfriend, Jack, was in on the prank too in case Colby was to call him.
"I know that!" Sam exclaimed, making you giggle.
You pulled out the fake positive pregnancy test, smiling at how realistic it looked. Sam shook his head as he got his camera ready to record for you.
"Hey people of the word it's your favourite Brock here! Today with the help of my lovely assistant, I'm pranking Colby with the classic pregnancy test! My boyfriend is on the prank too, so let's see how this goes." You said, giving a quick intro as Sam moved the camera to hide it.
Sam then hid the camera for you as you sat on the sofa, before shouting for Colby. Your brother soon came in looking confused at your "sheepish" face. You hoped your acting skilled paid off.
"Everything okay?" He asked, looking at Sam, who was playing his part.
"I....I have some news." You began, as Colby sat down next to you.
"Okay...." He said slowly.
You then handed him the pregnancy test. His eyes widen as he saw the fake positive result.
"Your.....Your pregnant?" He asked in shock.
"Yeah....I missed my period this month, thought I was just going to be late but I guess not." You said with a nod.
"It's Jack's right?" He questioned.
"Of course, I called him this morning to tell him." You half lied. You had called Jack, but only to say it was all a prank.
"Wow....It's just a lot. I mean....are you excited? Happy? Worried?" He asked quickly.
"I'm not sure." You mumbled, biting the inside of your cheek to not laugh.
"What do you think?" He asked, looking at Sam.
"I'm as shocked as you are, bro." Sam answered.
"I....well I want to say congratulations, but I also want to say why the fuck didn't you use protection." He called.
"I...I do have something else to say." You said.
Colby looked at you as a large smile appeared on your face, confusing the male.
"It's a prank!" You shouted, jumping up and grabbing the camera.
"What!" Colby shouted in shock.
"I'm not really pregnant, brother!" You responded, laughing along with Sam and his confused and shocked face.
"Fuck!" He shouted, making you both laugh more.
"You were in on this!" He added, pointing at Sam.
"Obviously! I love a good prank." Sam replied.
"So was Jack." You added.
"Wow, just wow." Colby said.
"Got you back big brother!" You shouted cheerfully.
Colby smiled and shook his head as you did a quick end to the video, feeling proud of your prank.

Like Minds reincarnation AU, but they are fated to die everytime they are reunited as one.
See below for more details-> it’s a lot of rambling but I can’t get it out in any other way
This is based on the theory that Nigel is Alex’s real Maraclea, but also that he was the original (lady of) Maraclea. Alex once being the Templar Knight that fell in love with Maraclea and taking her skull that he believed held power, this being the beginning of the reincarnations, the cause of it all.
With the whole ritual that Nigel has in mind for him and Alex is recreating what was depicted in the legend, find your Maraclea, claim your Maraclea, and retrieve what belonged to them in nine months. This being the skulls of both of their chosen Maracleas.
I think in talking of this AU, Nigel knew that something was missing in his life, he was the first to die as fated, so he is the first to seek what he knew he was missing. This is most likely why Nigel was such an odd individual, he was utterly consumed by what was missing and when he found his and Alex's legend(the legend of the great lady of Maraclea). He felt a connection to it and created his own little fantasy of him and another finding their maraclea’s.
He didn’t see him self as Maraclea and he knew he had to find someone, so he connected the jack of spades card to the legend of Maraclea. This pulling Alex in.
They were so connected, in their thoughts, emotions, and their entire bodies were also in way contrasting the other(if that makes sense). After time, after countless reincarnations since the first death(the legend), they have known each other and have started to mirror the other in past lives.
In every moment of becoming one, all of the reincarnations, I think in this one it is the first time they had found their original selves. In previous lives they might have just subconsciously followed the same path as the originals. Found eachother, “Maraclea” dies, “Templar knight” is lost in grief and in some they will take something from the grave, a bone or a beloved object and carry it until they die, never wanting to part from it. They would worship it unknowingly.
In others, they might not return to the grave and take anything. This will haunt them, even if they don’t know why. And they will die soon after. Once they have been intertwined and have become one, they cannot be separated. a part of Maraclea has to be carried by the “Templar knight” or it will slowly kill them, it has already been decided by fate. Why? Perhaps it is the curse for taking the skull the first time, for a mortal to gain the power of an immortal being.
For Alex and Nigel being aware of the legend of having and indescribable knowing that it is a deep part of them, I think their experience would be quite different from their previous lives. They know what is expected to happen, what they need to do, but they are not all knowing of it. They still have ignorance, Alex refusing it and Nigel not being aware that he is the real Maraclea. In every life they will be fated to the same outcome and there is nothing they can do to escape the curse that the originals are responsible for.
They obtained eternity, but at what cost?
(Edited: also thinking about how Nigel is so desperate about eternity, it’s dramatic irony)

summary = while swan is trying to decorate their cozy, pink living room for christmas, she’s met by some…unexpected music from colby.
warnings = cursing + just silly fluff with swan and colby
a / n = thank you to @mattsbows , ur inbox inspired this whole thing
Tumblr media
swan was stood on a birch step-stool infront of her and colby’s tree. she was tying some pink ribbons onto the branches that she could now reach with help of the stool. swan had also decided that she definitely wasn’t doing the back of the tree since ‘nobody would see it anyways’. she had some pink, plaid pajama pants on, the ones that colby gave her for christmas of course, and colby was supposed to be wearing his matching ones — but he was in some black sweatpants, back in the bedroom since he claimed he was too tired to help swan decorate.
swan jumped off the stool and smiled, stepping back until she was against the counter. she looked up and down in satisfaction, giving a few excited jumps because of how pretty their tree looked. she pulled her phone out and took a couple pictures of it to put on instagram later.
“perfect!” swan whispered to herself, clapping her hands a bit. she went to the oven while it started to beep, she grabbed her pink oven-mitt and pulled a tray of soon-to-be peanut butter blossoms. she sat them on the counter and took another picture before letting them cool. she sat on the counter and laid back on it, her blonde hair sprawling out all over the marble counters.
everything seemed to be all relaxed while swan waited for the cookies to be cooled off enough to plop some hershey kisses onto them. well, it was calm until the tv in the living room switched on and $uicideboy$ started blasting throughout the house.
swan squealed and dropped her phone, covering her ears and groaning. she walked over and saw spotify open on the tv, she immediately rolled her eyes. wouldn’t be the first time colby connected to the tv and blasted music.
“colby!” swan screamed, her voice drowned out by the music. swan looked around at her and colby’s living room (which was slowly becoming just her living room). the loud music a contrast between the bow-shaped throw pillows, the soft pink and white blankets draped over the black couches, the shades of pink and white decorations that covered every shelf there, the small candles on the glass coffee table. it all screamed ‘swan’, but this music was all colby.
swan groaned and she stormed back to her and colby’s room, pushing the door open with her hip and walking to colby who was laying back on the bed. she grabbed his phone and shut off the music, crossing her arms and looking down at her dumbfounded boyfriend.
“uh…hey, gorgeous.” colby yapped, giving swan that goofy smile she always found adorable.
“colby— no more connecting to the tv! it’s ruining my whole vibe i got going on.” swan huffed, looking at her boyfriend, who was still in pajamas.
“sorry, baby. how about i come help you bake to make up for it?” colby’s words immediately got a smile on swan’s face,
“get in your pink pajamas and come meet me in the kitchen!” she cheered, kissing his nose and skipping to the kitchen.
the rest of their night went exactly as swan wanted, colby claimed the pink pjs and the cookies were all ruining his day, but swan knew he was just joking.
the two also knew this wouldn’t be the last time that colby blasted his music, and it certainly wasn’t the first.

𝐢𝐧 𝐰𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐡 … a harmless prank you pulled on colby takes an unexpected turn you’ll never turn down
✦ … when you were scrolling through tiktok the other day you saw a video where a girl pranked her boyfriend by getting in the shower with him fully clothed. his reaction was hilarious and you thought it would be a funny thing to do.
so that brings you here. ready to hop in the shower with shorts and a tank top on. colby was humming to music he had put on his speaker as the water fell from the shower head nearly drowning him out.
you quickly moved the glass door to the side before stepping in behind him and closing it. colby jumped in surprise as he turned around. he laughed in disbelief, “yn! what the fuck? what are you doing?”
you smiled reaching for the shampoo. “showering.” you shrugged trying to seem unbothered.
he raised his brows. “i’ve seen this prank before.” he deadpanned. “you’re not slick.” he said moving the wet hair out of his face.
you huffed. “i didn’t think you were on tiktok much.” you playfully pouted at the disappointment and failure of your prank. “what a fail.”
he eyed you down his gaze darkening. he tilted his head before pulling you closer to him by your wet tank top. “doesn’t have to be a fail.” he whispered, his words barely audible because of the sound of the water hitting you both.
you gulped feeling yourself become wet in other parts of your body. “uh..” you stuttered, feeling his hands play with the strap of your tank top. he trailed his fingers down between the valley of your tits that were peeking through the wet fabric. then he rested his hands on the bottom of your tank.
he tugged it up walking forward causing you to stumble back gently hitting the wall. colby looked at you with needy eyes. “gonna let me take care of you?” he lifted your chin pecking a small kiss on your lips. “mm, so beautiful.” he whispered bringing those kisses down to your neck and chest. you let out a tiny whimper you had been trying to hold back. “is that a yes?”
you gulped, “yes.” you whispered watching as he started kneeling down on his knees. he took hold of the waistband of your shorts sliding them down revealing your underwear before sliding that down too revealing your wet shiny pussy.
he licked his bottom lip moving your leg so that it was propped up opening up your thighs to give him better access. when you looked down at him he had a hint of mischief in his eye. he grinned to himself before getting up and detaching the detachable shower head. your eyes widened as he changed the pressed before kneeling on one knee. “so pretty.” he whispered lifting his hand and reaching out with two fingers swirling his fingers in your arousal.
you whined mouth falling open. your wet hair was sticking to your forehead and the wet fabric of your tank top suddenly becoming too tight. colby brought your slick up and put it all over your clit. you moaned at the slight pressure before all of a sudden you felt that strong jet like feeling on your clit. your legs instinctively closed at the strong pressure but colby stopped it before you could block access.
“oh shit..” you moaned at the pleasure. your hand went into his hair as he moved the head in circles before he leaned down and wrapping his lips around your lower ones. your hand tightened around the root of his hair blinded by how fast you were nearing your orgasm. “yes… fuck yes colby!” you groaned, clenching your jaw as you looked down at his tongue taking a long lick off you.
he groaned against your pussy. “my favorite fucking meal — taste so good baby.” he purred picking up the pace of his mouth on yours discarding the shower head. he turned and shook his head to give you more stimulation from his mouth causing that familiar band in your lower stomach to tighten.
you felt like your legs were going to give out as they started to shake. you bit your lip knowing for sure you’d cum in a few seconds. your chest moved up and down as you felt it. “colby…” you warned leaning your head back against the tile wall. “gonna — mph — gonna cum… oh fuck… yes yes yes.” words fell from your lips as you clenched feeling that wave of ecstasy wash over you.
spurts of moans spilled from your mouth as you felt colby ride you through that wave. you leaned against the wall almost sliding down when colby stood up and held you by your waist close to his chest. he kissed your lips quickly before lifting your tank top even more. “gonna take care of you, yeah?” he spoke quietly. you nodded holding onto his shoulders before lifting your arms up as he removed your tank top. “so beautiful mama, let’s wash you up.” he kissed your head as he took some shampoo and got started.

"Wow, the smell of roses in here has gotten stronger." Matt commented as soon as Colby closed the large door behind them, lifting his chin slightly as he smelled the strong scent of flowers.
It was time to investigate the Maximillian room, which was on the mezzanine; the room that held eight mirrors surrounded by gold that cost way too much and a painting of Empress Carlota, who, according to legend, was there because of those same mirrors, as they were gifts from her husband at the time.
And it was precisely because of her that Y/N was feeling so anxious. From the moment the hotel guides took them to there while showing them all the main haunted rooms in the building, the girl felt strange.
Because Y/N was a medium and was aware of it since she was a child - consequently training her "skill" as she grew up -, her sensations with the supernatural were duplicated and very accurate; Not only could she see, hear and feel the presences, but she could also feel what came with them and the weight of each one.
That's why, on her first trip to the room, she quickly found Carlota, who surprisingly allowed the girl to see her, but Y/N wished she hadn't. Carlota was beautiful, exactly as in her painting, still dressed in classical clothes, but her eyes carried so much anguish. Contrary to the hope of Audrey - their main guide -, Carlota did not appear to have found peace in the afterlife.
But what surprised Y/N, or scared her the most, was the hatred in the ghost's eyes, and strangely, this hatred was directed only at her.
Upon stepping into that room for the second time that night, the girl felt nausea rise from her stomach to her throat, swallowing hard; Her heart raced stupidly fast and the hair on her arms and legs stood up, raising goose bumps on her skin. A weight settled on her shoulders and the back of her neck, making her feel as if any sudden movement would send her straight to the ground.
Her hands shook slightly as her eyes swept the room. She focused her senses better, being able to capture several spirits coming and going from one mirror to another, reminding her of the portals created by them. Y/N felt the pain, sadness, anger, and melancholy of each of the ghosts, her throat becoming dry and her eyes burning with tears. She felt overwhelmed.
"Baby? Hey, what happened?" Matt's soft voice close to her ear woke her from her intense trance, her eyes meeting the blue ones that kept her grounded.
Y/N noticed that the others were a little further away and already in the center of the room, talking to each other while Sam arranged the camera to record the investigation. She was internally grateful that Matt had come to her unnoticed without attracting attention from the others.
"Sorry, I'm fine. Just overwhelmed. This place has a horrible atmosphere." Y/N responded in the same soft tone as her boyfriend, keeping her eyes fixed on his, trying to convey confidence.
"If I'm feeling the burden in these walls, I can only imagine what you're feeling, dove. I promise I'll be by your side the whole time, and if it gets too much, let me know, and we'll leave right away." The boy spoke, taking Y/N's right hand with his left one, squeezing lightly. Y/N smiled in gratitude. She was so lucky to have him with her.
"So Carlota likes compliments and flirting?" Colby's deep voice caught the couple's attention while asking the rhetorical question. Y/N and Matt looked up at the others, seeing Sam already with the camera on and passing the lens along the decorated walls surrounding them.
Matt turned off the light on the switch near the door as previously agreed before they approached the others, ready to start what they needed to do there.
"Hey Carlota, here we have five fine men, but only three are single and available for you." Matt spoke first while settling close to his brothers, his eyes scanning the space completely despite being able to see practically nothing through the darkness.
Y/N followed his action, sweeping her eyes around her and the ghosts there, internally trying to focus only on Carlota's spirit. She kept her right hand intertwined with Matt's, not wanting to let go of his warmth, knowing that he was the only one who could keep her under control in that situation.
"Can you see her, Cole Sear?" Nick asked Y/N, crossing his arms and looking at the girl with a curious gaze, who nodded after rolling her eyes momentarily at the reference to the movie Six Senses, smiling sideways.
Nick was scared to death of watching horror movies, but he loved it when Y/N watched them all and then told him the story.
"I can, but I can also see several other ghosts that probably have nothing to do with the hotel's history and are only here because of the portals. I'm trying to just focus on her."
Colby and Chris started throwing random pick-up lines into thin air, trying to attract the Empress's ghost. Their words made Y/N let out a low laugh, they were ridiculous.
After a significant effort, Y/N finally managed to clear all the ghosts in the room from her mind, being able to see only Carlota. The woman stood a few steps away, her eyes on Colby and Chris as she held an elegant and calm posture, an arrogant smile on her face, probably satisfied with all the attention.
But that changed when she realized that Y/N saw her completely now, her empty eyes going to the girl, a flame of anger and disdain shining behind them, seeming to penetrate Y/N's eyes and run throughout her mind.
The girl's hands flew to her own head almost instantly, pressing down on each side as her body arched slightly forward, a growl escaping her throat as her knees shook, weakened by the sudden pain.
Matt had never moved so fast, his body positioned in front of his girlfriend's as his hands held her arms, which were more tense than ever before, her own fingers tangling in strands of her loose hair, pulling hard while trying to stop the intense pain of the sudden migraine.
"Y/N? Baby, talk to me. What's... What's going on?" Matt spoke in a desperate tone, his eyes going from his girlfriend to the boys repeatedly, hoping they would have some kind of response.
Nick and Chris ran to the two, positioning themselves on either side of Y/N, choosing not to touch her so as not to worsen her overload but showing that they were there for her.
"It must be some spirit that is messing with her, perhaps trying to attack her or, at worst, control her." Colby commented, approaching as well as his eyes traveled around the dark room, looking for any clue as to what it was, even if he couldn't see anything.
Sam lowered the camera, the lens focusing on his feet as he too approached. His eyebrows were furrowed in concern, the blonde knew well what it was like to be attacked by spirits, and if he could, he would put an end to what Y/N was feeling at that very moment.
"Matt." Y/N let out in a pained groan, an intense pressure establishing in her right arm, as if something was holding, or rather crushing the region. She lifted her left hand, placing it on Matt's right shoulder while trying to find stability.
With great difficulty, the girl looked to her right from the corner of her eye, catching Carlota there, just a few inches apart from her. Feelings of fury and disgust emanated from her aura as her right hand squeezed Y/N's arm, and although she didn't say anything, the girl knew that that gesture was a request - mandate - for her to get out of there.
Nick and Chris spoke to Sam and Colby in low tones, probably trying to understand the situation and find a solution to reverse it.
"I'm here, honey. I'm right here." Matt whispered repeatedly, bending down slightly to be at the same height as Y/N while holding her hand that was on his shoulder, stroking the skin softly with his fingers.
He felt his breathing quicken in anxiety at the sight of his girl's state, panic wanting to take over his body, but he maintained control, closing his eyes momentarily to compose himself, as he whispered sweet nothings against his girl's ear.
Seconds later, when he saw that Y/N was still moaning and grunting in pain, he took a deep breath before turning around, turning his back to the girl and facing the room. Little did he know that Carlota was right next to him.
"I demand that you cut all effect on Y/N right now. You are not allowed to mess with her." Matt's voice was stern, like never before. His eyes held determination while running around the room, his hands behind him, maintaining contact with his girlfriend's body. "She's not yours!" He growled.
Suddenly, all the pressure on Y/N vanished, and a feeling of relief took over her, as if fresh air had entered her nostrils and filled her lungs, bringing comfort to her body. The girl exhaled sharply, removing her hands from her head slowly, as if expecting the worst.
Y/N straightened her posture, opening her eyes, waiting for them to adjust to the light. One of the boys had probably turned it on in the meantime, and the girl mentally thanked whoever had done it, finally being able to see the surroundings better.
The negative and evil energy had left her side, but Carlota was still in the room, Y/N could feel her.
Matt turned abruptly, facing Y/N again, pulling her into his arms as he held her head against his chest, caressing the area carefully.
"You're okay. You're okay." The boy repeated it like a mantra, trying to calm Y/N or himself. He wasn't sure.
Y/N winced at Matt's movement, the pain in her arm intensifying, reminding her that Carlota had almost ripped it off.
“Wait, are you hurt? Where does it hurt, Y/N?” Nick asked after hearing it, finally getting close enough to be able to lightly touch his best friend's shoulder, a worried look decorating his face.
Matt pulled away from Y/N almost instantly, ready to investigate her injury, feeling anger rising through his veins. If he could see and touch ghosts, he would kill Carlota again.
Y/N just raised her right arm, rolling up the sleeve of her jacket with her left hand. Chris, who was on the other side of the girl like a bodyguard, his blue eyes still darting around the room as if expecting something to appear out of nowhere, let a surprised sound escape his lips at the sight.
"Oh my God, Y/N. This is bad." The youngest of the triplets murmured, an expression of discomfort taking over his face as he thought about the pain resulting from the injury.
A handprint was perfectly carved on Y/N's arm. It looked like someone had taken a pencil and ink and drawn in the area. That would definitely turn out purple.
"That's crazy, dude. Does it hurt bad?" Colby asked, taking a few steps closer to get a better view, receiving a nod from the girl, who was still looking at the mark in disbelief.
"When you said you were Lorraine Warren, I didn't think you would perform the entire The Conjuring movie. If I had known, I would have brought a priest and some holy hater." Sam joked, trying to lighten the tense atmosphere, as he momentarily turned off the camera.
The blonde made a quick mental note to delete all footage of that disturbing episode, not wanting to expose such a vulnerable moment of his new friend.
Y/N let out a laugh. The ghosts really hated her.

Small, repetitive taps echoed throughout your room. Your eyes fluttered open, the noise finally startling you awake. You rolled out of your bed groggily, walking over to the window with careful steps.
You peeked outside to see a familiar blonde haired boy outside your window. He held a handful of the pebbles that decorated the outside of your house. You rolled your eyes and cracked your window open. “What the hell are you doing, Golbach? Do you even know what time it is?”
Sam stared up at you, immediately speechless as his eyes met yours. The dim lighting from your room barely illuminated your features, just enough for him to see. “Look, I know it’s late, and I’m probably the last person you want to see standing in your yard, but I have to show you something,” he pleaded, scattering the rocks back into their decorative piles among the grass.
He held a hand out to you, knowing you couldn’t reach, but simply as a gesture to imply you should follow him. You knew you’d be dead if your parents knew you were leaving this late, but couldn’t it be deemed worth it to see just what he was bothering you for?
“And why can't this wait til the morning?” You asked skeptically. His watercolor eyes held a hopeful look, seeing as your response wasn't necessarily negative. It definitely wasn't a no.
“What's the fun in that?” His big goofy smile made your heart skip a beat. He looked down, kicking at the dirt. “there's really no one else I'd rather show this to.”
You stared at him for a moment more, contemplating your options. If you got caught, you'd be dead. But, what's the worst that could happen? “And what do I get out of this?”
He shrugged. “Hanging out with me?”
The hopeful look he held was nothing if not enticing to you. You leaned out the window further, sighing as you checked for anyone else around. It was just him, clearly he had no ill intention. Or maybe he did.
“Eh, why the hell not,” you say with an obvious eye roll, shutting your window before he could respond. You take your time moving toward the back door, making your hasty exit before you could be caught.
“I knew you’d come around,” he cooed with a cocky smile.
“Honestly, kinda felt like I was being held at gunpoint,” you teased. “I mean, what can I say? Can't ignore you forever.”
He let out a small laugh. “I'm glad you feel that way.”
“Don't make me change my mind,” you warned. “What do you even have to show me, anyway? Don't you have your little boyfriend, Cole or something?”
“Colby is sleeping.” He emphasized his best friend's name. “My car is parked right up the street,” he mentioned, matching his walking pace with yours.
“Uh, excuse me. I was sleeping too,” you muttered.
“Well, he would've killed me if I woke him up. I thought since you want to kill me either way, it was worth a shot.” A small smile was plastered on his face. He felt as if he couldn't stop smiling, he finally got you to give him some sort of a chance.
You roll your eyes, chuckling dryly at his statement. “Yeah, whatever. I never wanted to kill you, necessarily. That’s just an exaggeration…”
It wasn’t at all an exaggeration. Your mind helplessly wandered to your past interactions, not a single one showing any sort of connection.
“Ew, as if, Golbach! Go bother your boyfriend instead,” you scoffed as he leaned closer to you, his signature—and clearly fake—cocky smirk plastered on his pale skin. You shoved him away and he stumbled back into a desk, his mouth hanging agape as he stared at you in shock. You’d never laid a hand on him, but he couldn’t do anything back… you were a girl! He couldn’t hit a girl…
The gross look on your face snapped him back to reality. “You know, that was really uncalled for,” he muttered before storming off.
You shook the thought from your head, seeing as that scene happened all the way back in middle school. Maybe in that moment, you did want to kill him, but you never truly did.
“Okay, Y/n.” He laughed, a sarcastic undertone to everything he said. You knew he was just protecting his heart. He had his guard up around you now, and you were starting to feel bad about it.
Your voice softened. You didn't know how to apologize without sounding like a pussy, but you felt like it was needed. The weird tension was slowly getting to you. “Maybe I disliked you very much, but I never hated you, Sam.”
“Past tense?” He asked, a laugh falling from his lips. “Do you actually like me now?”
“I can tolerate your presence,” you rebutted.
What seemed like a crack in his hard exterior became more and more visible by the second. He smiled. The realest smile you’d seen from him.
“Yeah, well, you’re not too bad yourself,” he joked, playfully bumping your shoulder with his.
You both finally arrived at Sam’s car, after what felt like an eternity. The next shocker—he opened the door for you. Your eyes lingered on him for a moment before you ducked down and settled yourself in the passenger seat.
“Y’know, I didn’t peg you for a gentleman.” He settled on his side and started the car after a few stalls. He glanced over at you with a dry chuckle, a clear and sarcastic sign that none of his gestures could be deemed gentlemanly.
Sam explained that it was quite a long drive before going quiet. An awkward silence filled the car as you listened intently to the soft radio.
As houses and barns started to disperse, you knew you were leaving town. It was a small town, give or take, so you weren't necessarily surprised. What you were was concerned. “Are you kidnapping me?”
Sam shook his head and chuckled, changing the radio station as he drove. “No, we’re going to a very common hang out spot among my friends. you may not like it though, princess,” he teased. He stopped his car in a large patch of pebbles, and all you could see was a large prairie on the outskirts of a small forest.
“Oh shit, are you taking me to the legendary barn?” You ask with an eager smile. You’d heard stories of this place, but never thought you’d ever go.
“Yeah, and it’s a long walk, so no complaining.” He got out of the car and walked around to your side, opening the door for you.
You couldn't help your face from heating up at the smallest gesture. The moon illuminated Sam's features, especially the ones you had never taken the time to notice. You caught yourself staring, making your heart jump. You looked down at your feet as you followed behind him.
You listened closely to Sam's soft footsteps in the dirt mixed with the noises of crickets chirping in the far distance. He quickly broke the silence. “I'm honestly surprised you've heard about our barn.”
“Your barn,” you muttered under your breath with a laugh. “It's not like you guys are secretive about your ‘investigations.’ Colby posts on his Facebook so much.”
Sam laughed sheepishly, scratching the back of his neck. “Yeah, no, that’s true… I tried to tell him our spot would be invaded if he kept posting, but he’s stubborn. Don’t get me wrong, though, he’s a great guy, just doesn’t think ahead." The way he spoke about his best friend was kind of cute, like he held Colby on a pedestal of sorts, it was admirable.
“Are we almost there?” you chimed, breaking the momentary silence. Sam holds a low-hanging branch out of your way as you enter the forest.
“Not much further, so don’t worry.” You both trekked through the forest, making it to the edge of the trees when the barn finally came into view.
The atmosphere was so peaceful, yet terrifying. Sam walking close beside you was a comforting presence. His hand brushed against yours, sending goosebumps all over your body. Your stomach was doing backflips as you looked at him.
He led you into the barn. You Looked up at the hay bales stacked close to the roof. Your jaw fell open at the sight. “How the hell do you even get up there?”
“Look, I’ll show you.” Dirt kicked up under his shoes as he jogged over to a singular hay bale on the floor. “You just climb up these, it's basically a staircase.” He jumped to the second one.
You bobbed over and climbed on top of it, following his lead. “Is this safe?”
He hesitated. “No.. But I'll make sure you're safe. don't worry, baby,” he teased with a smile. He held out his hand. You took it and he pulled you up to the next hay bale.
Baby? The name alone made your heart pound out of your chest, or maybe it was the anxiety from the American Ninja Warrior-esque trek up to the top of the hay bails. As you finally made it, you had a straight-shot view of the moon. There were holes in the aluminum panels that gave you a perfect view of the night sky, and only wooden beams supporting the metal that could easily fall on you at any moment.
“You said you come here often, right?” You wanted reassurance that the roof wouldn’t collapse on you and end up another town-wide horror story. He nodded his head as he settled toward the top of the hay, patting the spot next to him. You settle there hesitantly, nervous you’d fall down to your death at any moment.
“Don’t be afraid, you won’t fall,” he said, clearly comforting you. He wrapped his arm around your waist. “If you start falling, I’ll be here to make sure you don’t die or whatever.” He flashed a charming smile your way.
His touch made your mind foggy. His fingers dug into the soft flesh of your waist as you spoke. “What do you and Colby even do when you're here?”
“We play little kid games, like tag, and run around on the hay bales,” he explained. “Do you remember when I had to wear a fat ass brace to school for like, a week?”
You nodded. He seemed to be amused that you remembered such a small detail.
“Yeah, that was ‘cause my ankle got stuck in between these bales. Colby physically couldn't stop laughing at me.” Sam adjusted, scooting closer to you.
His obvious attempts to remain close to you didn’t go unnoticed. You fidgeted with the hem of your shirt, trying to find something to say to keep talking to him. You couldn’t help but love his voice, especially with him this close to you…
“I always found your voice really comforting, y’know,” you blurted out before you could stop yourself. His eyebrows raised in amusement as he glanced over at you, his teeth grazing his lower lip for a moment.
“Wow, really? People usually say I sound like a squeaky toy.” His joke was emphasized by an accidental voice crack, and his pale face immediately flushed red. You nudge him playfully with your elbow, teasing him.
“Aww, you sound like a 12 year old boy,” you coo.
“Wow, watch me hit puberty all over again,” he joked. “I'm kidding, I hit puberty a long time ago, don't worry.”
You rolled your eyes as he winked at you. “Thanks for letting me know,” you reply sarcastically.
“Really, though. I don't know what to say to that,” he admitted, avoiding eye contact with you. You watched intently as he picked at the hay under the two of you. He seemed hesitant, choking on his words. “Y/n, there's something I really need to tell you.”
You turn back to look at him, your head cocked to the side. You’d never seen him so hesitant, he seemed… insecure, even. You held your lower lip between your teeth for a moment, the tension between the two practically killing you. “Y-yeah…?”
His eyes drifted to somewhere behind you, his brows raising for a moment. He had the chance to get away from this painfully awkward position, realizing he wasn’t quite ready yet. “There’s a… There’s a ladder behind you, we could go to the roof, if you’d like,” he suggested with a coy shrug of his shoulders.
Sam mentally chided himself. He wanted so badly to confess to you, but something about the moment didn’t feel right. Something was off. He scratched the back of his neck nervously as he awaited your answer, looking up at you through his brows.
“Uhm, okay. Yeah.” Sam stood up and offered his hand to you. You gratefully took it and he pulled you to a standing position. You awkwardly followed him up the ladder to the roof.
The night was gorgeous. Out in the middle of nowhere, there weren't any lights or noises to interrupt the music of the nighttime. You admired the twinkling stars in the sky that reminded you of Sam's eyes every time he saw you. You couldn't get enough of how he looked at you.
He stood next to you, staring up at the sky as well. “It’s really nice outside,” he broke the silence, before turning to you. “Come sit with me?”
You hummed in response. He walked to the edge of the roof and sat down, letting his feet dangle off the ledge. You sat next to him, mirroring his position. You sat dangerously close to him, placing your hand on top of his softly.
You felt uneasy sitting up there, like you could fall at any moment. You looked down to the ground and tensed up, your hand squeezing Sam’s. He shifted closer to you and moved to wrap his arm around your shoulder, giving you a sense of comfort.
“Don’t worry, only a few people have fallen through or off this roof. Maybe like, 7?” You shove him gently as he tried to scare you, but it earned a hearty laugh from you.
“Alright, alright, no reason to be scared, blah blah…” you trail off as you turn your head, realizing just how close the two of you were. You could feel his warm breath against your face, causing a shudder to run down your spine.
Sam’s gaze flicked down to your lips momentarily, before meeting your eyes once again. Something was hidden in the pale blue color of his irises, some kind of longing. “There was something I wanted to tell you, y/n,” he whispered, each word he spoke laced with unease and anxiety.
“Just fucking spit it out, Golbach,” you muttered. He was so close, you could hear his uneasy breathing. “Please.”
“I love you, Y/n. God, I knew I'd love you as soon as we spoke for the first time, even if you were mean to me,” he paused, taking a deep breath.
Sam had been one of those untouchable boys since middle school. All of the girls wanted him, but he had never shown any interest. It was that moment you realized why.
His bright blue eyes met yours. “Fuck, I've never loved anyone like I love you. You don’t- You don't have to say anything, but I want you to know.” He moved his arm from your shoulder to wrap tightly around your waist. You could feel how badly he was shaking.
You raise your eyebrows, taking a moment to process everything he had said to you. Your hand trembled slightly as you reached out, brushing his hair away from his eyes gently.
“You mean more to me than you could ever know,” you murmured, “I never… meant to hurt you, Sam, I just taught myself to hate you because I thought you hated me, but in reality… goddamn, I think I love you too.” Your hand moves to cup his cheek, your touch ghosting his skin, feathery almost.
His shoulders relaxed as soon as you confessed. It was like a weight had been lifted from his shoulders, like he could walk on water. Anything was possible now that he knew: you loved him. He pulled you closer by your waist, his eyes boring holes into you.
“I’ve been waiting so long to hear you say that,” he whispered, his eyes fixed on your lips now, wanting more than anything to lean in closer.
His lips finally met yours. They moved in a sweet, sensual motion. He tasted of vanilla, a surprisingly sweet combination with your minty gum. He moved his hands down to your hips, squeezing gently as he held the kiss for as long as you let him.
Sam could've kissed you forever. You wrapped your arms around his neck and tangled your fingers in his honey locks.
You pulled away a moment to catch your breath, but he immediately chased your lips. He was insanely desperate for you, to not lose your touch for even a moment.
You tug playfully on his golden hair, earning a soft grunt from him. One of his hands moved to the roof beside you to keep himself steady.
He pulled away, breathing heavily. He gazed into your eyes, resting his sweaty forehead against yours. You couldn't help but smile and place a soft peck against his lips. “I love you, Sam. I'm sorry for everything before, I wish I wasn't so stupid.”
“You're not stupid. I’m stupidly in love with you.” He grinned at the cheesy saying. You rolled your eyes with a contradictory smile.
He took your hand in his, rubbing his thumb over your knuckles slowly. He looked up at the sky, the stars shining beautifully, sure, but they couldn’t compare to you.
“There's Orion's belt.” you pointed out the constellation, a smile on your face. What a dork… he thought to himself. He followed your hand and looked up at the sky once again, finding the constellation easily with your guidance.
“All these stars, yet somehow you shine brighter,” he murmured, as if thinking aloud without realizing. a red hue meets your cheeks as you look back at him, your brows raised.
“Well I'll be damned, he’s a poet,” you teased. He rolled his eyes and scoffed.
“Yeah, yeah, I'm a poet and I didn't even know it or whatever corny shit you’re gonna say next,” he laughed sarcastically.
You lightly slapped his shoulder. “Now I'm the corny one?”
He rolled his eyes. “I should probably take you home soon, don't want your parents flipping out.”
You let out a sad sigh. “I guess you're right.”
The venture back to the car was no easier than getting there. Sam helped you down the ladder and off of the hay bales. He interlocked his fingers with yours as you carefully walked out of the barn.
“When can I see you again?” he asked suddenly. “I mean, I know we have school Monday, but that's still one day I don't get to see you. Do you even know how much I hate that?”
You giggled. “If I'm not grounded, come over tomorrow. My parents are working, so we'll have the whole house to ourselves.”
He smirked, “I'm completely okay with that.”
You slapped his arm again. “Shut up, not like that!”
He shrugged. “Can’t blame a boy for his mind wandering.”
The drive back to your house was silent as Sam was caught in his own mind. He could see you again tomorrow? And what did tonight mean for the two of you? He wanted to be your boyfriend, more than anything, but he couldn’t be sure that you wanted the same. He tapped his fingers against the steering wheel to the rhythm of the song playing—some old rock song or something.
He parked a few houses down from yours, getting out of the car before you and jogging around to your side to once again open the door for you.
“You are such a gentleman,” you say with a fake posh accent and a clumsy faux-curtsey. You giggle as he shuts the door as quietly as possible, not wanting to raise suspicion from anyone on the street.
He walked you back to your house, his arm around your shoulder, shielding you from the cold.
“You planning on coming in with me or something?” you accused with a quiet laugh under your breath.
“I mean, do you want me to?”
“Yeah,” you tried to say nonchalantly, but ended up giggling.
He followed you in through the back door and tiptoed quietly through the house. This was the first time he was really seeing your room. He looked around at your pale walls that were covered with miscellaneous decorations and your messy bed. He couldn't help but smile. He felt like he was looking at your whole life in one small area. To be fair, he was.
You collapsed onto your bed with a huff. “I am exhausted.”
“I’ll let you go back to sleep, I'm going to go home.” He walked over and placed a kiss on your forehead. “I love you, y/n.”
“Wait!” You grabbed his hand as he started to walk towards your door. “Stay, please?”
His face lit up as you grabbed his hand, he turned back to you, kneeling beside your bed. “Do you really want me to stay?” he whispered, his brows quirked.
“Of course I do.” You scoot closer to the wall and pat the spot on your bed beside you. He hesitantly sat down, leaning back against your headboard. He looked up and saw the Napoleon Dynamite poster on your ceiling, which brought a small smile to his lips.
“I love Napoleon Dynamite,” he said, looking down at you once again. You looked 10 times more comfortable with him sitting beside you. His heart was immediately warmed seeing you grasp onto his sleeve.
“So do I,” you said in a surprisingly casual tone, considering your stomach was being immediately swarmed with butterflies as he mentioned loving your favorite movie.
Silence filled the room for a moment. He interrupted the silence. “Why are you so far away? c'mere.”
He opened his arms to you as he laid down in your bed. You wrapped your arms around him, resting your head on his chest. “Y'know, it's so much cozier in here with you.”
He smiled, placing a kiss on the top of your head. “Everything's better when I'm with you.”
You felt your heart, which was once pounding against your ribcage as you adjusted to his touch, calming down as you cuddled into his chest. You exhaled softly, feeling your eyelids growing heavier by the moment.
“Goodnight, Golbach,” you teased, finally feeling the warmth of your duvet as he pulled it over the both of you.
“Goodnight, Y/N.” He kissed the top of your head once again. He ran his hand up and down your back, slowly coaxing you into sleep.

Heartbreak ~ Brother!Sam Golbach
Tumblr media
Warnings: Angst, heartbreak, breakup, shit ex-bf, cheating.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Having a supportive, loving boyfriend was a dream come true to you. Your boyfriend Harry was great at first. He was the best. Always asking if you were comfortable and happy, being sweet, taking you out and all that you could dream. However over the past few weeks, Harry had been getting distance. You two had been dating for three months now and you couldn't understand how quick he changed.
You had just arrived at Harry's place. He had said he was busy today, but his car out front gave you another impression. You used your key to enter his house and the first thing that hit your ears was a moan. A female moan. You tried really hard to think he was just watching something, but as you walked up to his bedroom and pushed the door open only to see your boyfriend and a random girl in the bed, naked, you broke.
"What the fuck!" You screamed, Harry and the girl jumped apart, scrambling to get their clothes.
"You fucking asshole! If you didn't want to date me you should have fucking broke up not be a lowlife and fucking cheat!" You shouted.
"We're done! I hate you!" You added, storming out the house before Harry could even get his pants on.
You rushed home, tears streaming down your face. You were angry, broken and hurt all at once. You couldn't believe him.
When you got home, you ran to your bedroom. Your brother Sam was sat on the sofa on his laptop, when he saw you rush in. He got up and followed you to your room, the broken cries making him worried.
"Y/n, can I come in?" He asked softly, pushing your door open a bit.
"S...Sure." You mumbled through cries.
Sam walked and came over, seeing you laid face down on your bed, cries racked through your body, making him upset too. He sat down and rubbed your back gently.
"What happened?" He asked.
"Harry....He's a fucking dick." You angrily answered.
"What did he do?" Sam questioned.
"Fucking cheated with some other girl!" You shouted, your fists balled up and punched your pillows.
Sam sighed and rubbed your back, helping you calm down for a bit. Once you had slowly stopped crying, the tears silently rolled down your face, he brought you into a tight hug.
"I'm sorry he's a dickhead. I know the right guy is out there for you and sadly, Harry wasn't the one." Sam softly said, rubbing circles on your back still.
"Just hurts." You mumbled, laying your head on his shoulder.
"I know it does. It's going to for a while. Colby and I are here for you okay?" He replied.
You nodded, looking at the photo of you and Harry after your second date. You sighed and slowly got up, placing the photo face down.
"You want a movie and some ice cream?" Sam suggested.
"Yeah, sounds good." You said quietly, going to lay on your bed again.
Sam nodded and headed to grab some ice cream from the freezer before coming back to you. He saw you curled up in your blankets looking for a movie to watch.
"Thank you." You said as he joined your side and passed you the ice cream.
"Your my sister, I'm always going to be here for you. If you want a movie and ice cream you got it. You want me and Colby to beat his ass, you got it. I'm here for you." He said, pulling you in for another tight hug.
You smiled, happy to have Sam as your brother. You knew the heartbreak was going to be painful, but with Sam by your side, it would be better.
Crimson Hearts Part 2
Paring: Matt Sturniolo x Reader
Prompt: Meeting the Sturniolo’s gang wasn’t as bad as you thought. It almost made you forget why you were brought here in the first place. Almost.
Warning(s): Gore, Shooting, Profanity, Mafia type stuff, poorly written fight scene, not proofread
Note: I made some of the YouTubers from their most recent collaboration be a part of the gang. And yes, I have soft Matt. He along with some of the other members will show more of their bad, gangster side in future chapters. I also kind of rushed it, so I apologize. I will go back and fit it later.
Word count: 3,047 (I will make all my others chapters not as long as this for those who don’t want that many words in a chapter)
Part 1
Tumblr media
The morning light filtered through the curtains, casting a warm glow across the room. You stirred, the memories of last night's encounter with the Sturniolo triplets creeping into your consciousness like a persistent fog. The images were vivid: the cold sweat on your father's brow, the imposing figures of Nick, Matt, and Chris, their presence commanding.
With a deep breath, you pushed the covers aside and rose from the bed, your mind racing with the possibilities of what the day might hold. The air was crisp, a stark contrast to the heated atmosphere of the party. You dressed quickly, the weight of the impending meeting settling in your stomach like a stone.
Stepping outside, the world seemed oblivious to the turmoil that churned beneath its surface. The neighborhood was peaceful, the only sounds were the distant laughter of children and the soft rustling of leaves. But the tranquility did nothing to ease your nerves.
The sleek black limousine was impossible to miss, idling at the curb like a silent predator. The door opened, and you were greeted by the sight of the Sturniolo triplets, their expressions unreadable. Nick's nod was curt, an unspoken invitation to enter their world. Matt's eyes flickered with a hint of curiosity, while Chris offered a reassuring grin, the edge of danger still lingering in his smile.
You took a seat, the leather cool against your skin. The interior of the limo was luxurious, a stark contrast to the ruthless reputation of its occupants. The triplets watched you, their gazes sharp and assessing. You swallowed hard, searching for words that wouldn't betray your anxiety.
"So," you began, your voice steadier than you felt, "I hear the city never sleeps because of you three."
Nick's lips twitched into a semblance of a smile, and Matt's posture relaxed ever so slightly. Chris chuckled, the sound rich and surprisingly warm.
"We do keep things... interesting," Nick replied, his voice smooth like aged whiskey. “The city has many stories. Some are bedtime tales for the innocent; others are wake-up calls for the brave.”
Matt’s gaze was unreadable, yet you could tell that he was reading your expression, almost like he was deciphering the thoughts racing through your mind. “Marriage is a strategic move,” he mused, the words hanging in the air like a challenge. “It’s not about love, it’s about power and alliances.”
Chris leaned forward, light catching the edge of his grin. “But don’t worry,” he chimed in, his tone light but laced with seriousness. “We’re not monsters. We’re humans too. We’re businessmen, and in our world, we value a good partnership.”
You took a moment to gather your thoughts, the reality of the situation settling in. This wasn’t just a marriage proposal; it was something much more. You thought of what you could say and the next words could potentially have consequences that would be yours to bear.
“I understand the stakes”, you replied, your voice trying to remain steady. “But I’m not just a pawn to be moved at will. Like you said, we’re all human here.”
The brothers exchanged glances, a silent conversation passing between them. It was clear that this was a new development, a wrinkle in their plan they hadn’t anticipated. But it was also clear that they respected strength, and perhaps, in that moment, they saw a glimpse of their own resolve reflected in you.
The conversation flowed more easily after that, small talk bridging the gap between your two worlds. You spoke of inconsequential things—the weather, the city's nightlife, the latest technology. And for a moment, just a fleeting moment, you could almost forget who they were and the dangerous game you were all playing. Almost.
The limousine glided to a stop in front of an imposing mansion, its facade a testament to the power and wealth of the Sturniolo gang. As you stepped out, the grandeur of the residence struck you, a stark reminder of the world you were about to enter.
Inside, the atmosphere was charged, a mix of opulence and danger. The triplets led you through the halls, their steps echoing on the marble floors. You were introduced to the other members of the gang, each one a vital piece of the Sturniolo empire.
Nick gestured to a man with an intense gaze, "That's Colby Brock. He's our eyes and ears on the street. Nothing happens in this city without Colby knowing about it."
Matt nodded towards a figure leaning against the wall, "And there's Sam Golbach. He's the tech wizard. If it's digital and it's secure, Sam's the one who can crack it. He also works great with all kinds of weapons. If a weapon was created, he knows about it and will find out everything about it.
Chris's grin widened as he pointed out a man with a mischievous twinkle in his eye, "Meet Jake Webber. He's the charmer, the face for our... less official dealings."
You followed their gazes as they introduced the rest. "That's Johnnie Guilbert," Nick said, "He handles our finances, making sure the money flows where it needs to."
“Tara Yummy," Matt added, "is our negotiator. She's got a way with words that can turn any deal in our favor."
"And last but not least," Chris chimed in, "is Larray. He's the life of the party, but don't let that fool you. He's as sharp as they come, especially when it comes to information gathering."
As you took in each face, a complex web of roles and responsibilities began to form in your mind. These were the people who ran the underworld, each with their own story, their own skills, and now, they were all looking at you.
The triplets watched you carefully, gauging your reaction. "Welcome to the family," they said in unison, their voices a blend of warmth and warning. It was clear that this was more than a mere introduction; it was an initiation into a world from which there was no easy escape.
After the introductions, you were led down a corridor lined with portraits of stern-looking individuals, their eyes following your every move. The triplets stopped in front of a heavy oak door, its surface carved with intricate designs that spoke of a long, storied history.
"This will be your room," Nick said, pushing the door open with a gentle nudge.
The room that greeted you was a study in contrasts. The walls were painted a deep, velvety maroon, accented with black trim that gave the space an air of sophistication and power. Heavy drapes in dark shades framed the windows, allowing slivers of light to pierce the room's natural dimness.
Despite the dark colors, the room was undeniably beautiful. A large, four-poster bed dominated the center, its ebony wood polished to a high shine and adorned with plush bedding in shades of crimson and gold. The furniture was of the same dark wood, each piece exquisitely crafted and perfectly placed to create a sense of balance and comfort.
On one wall, a fireplace crackled softly, the flames casting dancing shadows that played across the room. Above it, a painting of the city at night hung, its lights twinkling like stars in a dark sky, a constant reminder of the world that lay just beyond these walls.
The room was a sanctuary, a place of quiet strength and luxury. It was clear that every detail had been carefully considered, from the soft, thick carpet that cushioned your steps to the subtle scent of sandalwood that lingered in the air.
As you took it all in, you couldn't help but feel a sense of awe. This was a room that belonged to someone of importance, someone who wielded power with a quiet confidence. It was a room that spoke of the Sturniolo legacy, and now, it was yours.
The soft knock at the door pulled you from your reverie, the room's grandeur momentarily forgotten. You crossed the plush carpet and opened the door to find Matt standing there, his expression serious.
"May I come in?" he asked, and without waiting for an answer, he stepped inside, closing the door behind him. The room seemed to shrink with his presence, the air charged with a new intensity.
"There are rules," he began, his voice low and steady. "Rules that are non-negotiable if you're to stay here."
You nodded, a silent signal for him to continue.
"First," he said, holding up a finger, "loyalty is paramount. You do not betray the family, not by action or word. Second, discretion is expected. What happens within these walls stays within these walls. And third," he paused, his gaze locking with yours, "you must contribute. Everyone here has a role, a purpose. You'll need to find yours."
The rules were clear, each one a pillar that upheld the Sturniolo empire. They were not just guidelines; they were the very foundation of the life you were stepping into.
"Understand this," Matt added, "we protect our own, but we also demand respect and obedience. Step out of line, and there will be consequences."
The weight of his words settled over you, a tangible reminder of the reality of your new existence. This was no longer the world of lost cats and late newspaper deliveries. This was a world where power and survival were intertwined, where every choice could mean the difference between life and death.
"Are you willing to accept these terms?" Matt asked, his eyes searching yours for any hint of hesitation.
You took a deep breath, the gravity of the decision before you not lost. "Yes," you replied, your voice a whisper of resolve. "I understand."
Matt nodded once, a silent acknowledgment of your acceptance. "Welcome to the Sturniolo family," he said, and with those words, the next chapter of your life began.
Led by Matt, you returned to the main lounge, the heart of the mansion where the gang congregated. The room buzzed with conversation and the clinking of glasses, a stark contrast to the solemnity of the corridors. You hesitated at the threshold, the weight of countless eyes upon you.
The lounge was expansive, the ceilings high and the furnishings a blend of luxury and comfort. Plush sofas and armchairs were arranged in inviting clusters, encouraging close-knit discussions. The walls were adorned with art that hinted at the gang's reach and influence, each piece telling a story of power and conquest.
At first, you lingered on the periphery, a silent observer to the camaraderie and dynamics that played out before you. The members of the gang moved with an ease that spoke of long-established bonds, their laughter and gestures, a language you had yet to learn.
But as the minutes passed, you found yourself drawn into the fold. Colby shared a street-smart joke that eased the tension in your shoulders. Sam's tech and weapon talk was surprisingly accessible, his enthusiasm infectious. Jake's charm was disarming, and soon you were sharing stories of your own, laughter spilling from your lips more freely than you'd have expected.
Johnnie discussed business with a sharp acumen that piqued your interest, while Tara's negotiation tales were both harrowing and exhilarating. Larray's vivacity was a bright spark in the room, his humor a welcome relief from the gravity of the situation.
From the corner of your eye, you could see the triplets. They stood apart, a silent, watchful presence. Their expressions were unreadable, but there was no mistaking the intent focus with which they observed your integration into the group. It wasn't surveillance, but rather an assessment, a measure of your ability to adapt and belong.
Nick's gaze met yours across the room, a silent nod of approval. Matt's lips quirked up in what might have been a smile, and Chris raised his glass to you, a silent toast. In that moment, you felt a flicker of something like acceptance, a sense that perhaps you could find your place here after all.
The evening wore on, and the initial awkwardness faded into a sense of belonging. You were still an outsider, but now you were an outsider with a foot in the door, and the path ahead seemed a little less daunting.
The morning sun streamed through the kitchen windows, casting a warm, golden hue over the faces of the assembled gang members. You entered quietly, still adjusting to the rhythms of this new life. The chatter ceased momentarily as all eyes turned to you, but a nod from Nick and a smile from Chris were all it took for the conversations to resume.
The breakfast table was a lively scene, plates piled high with food, and the air filled with the rich aromas of coffee and cooked meals. You took your place, feeling the last remnants of sleep fade away as the energy of the room enveloped you.
After the meal, as the others dispersed to their various tasks, Matt's hand on your arm stopped you. He led you to a quiet corner of the room, his expression earnest.
"There's something I need to discuss with you," he said, his voice low. "The wedding is going to happen soon. It's in a month."
The words hit you like a wave, unexpected and overwhelming. A wedding? The concept seemed out of place in the dangerous world you'd been thrust into, yet here it was, being presented as a matter of fact.
Your heart raced, a mix of shock and an emotion you hesitated to name.
"I... I understand," you managed to say, your voice steady despite the turmoil inside. "I won't disagree."
You looked into Matt's eyes, searching for answers, for reassurance. And there, in the depths of his gaze, you saw something. It was a look that conveyed a hint of respect for the role you were about to take on.
Days had passed since your conversation with Matt and you were starting to like your new living situation. You grew close with each member in your own way, and you were starting to see what was beneath all their hardened exteriors. Tara, with her sharp wit and silver tongue, had especially grown a liking to you. She had taken you under her wing as an older sister type figure.
One afternoon, Tara decided it was time for a break and claimed that “you look like you could use some fresh air. A little shopping might do us good.” You agreed, welcoming the chance to step away from your new environment.
The streets were alive with the hustle and bustle of daily life. As you and Tara made your way through the crowds, you two laughed as she was telling you about some of the gang member’s weaknesses.
“Seriously?! Matt is afraid of ketchup?! Like he has never really tried it?” A smile formed on your face as you giggled at the news. Tara nodded while recounting the memory.
“Yeah, he seems terrified of it, and in fact–” She suddenly stopped. A serious expression taking over her features.
“What is it?” You were greatly confused but soon you saw why she had so abruptly stopped. A group of figures emerged from the shadows, their intentions clear from the malice in their eyes. Now that you realize it, you two were the only ones in the area and you started to get surrounded by the men.
Without hesitation, Tara pulled out a black and pink gun from her belt and fired it straight up in the air. A pink smoke materialized.
“Oh you think your tough shit huh? Calling the rest of the gang to come help you?” One of the men called.
“No, I just want the rest of my gang to see me beat your ass.” Tara replied with an attitude. The men did not seem to appreciate that as they all soon started charging in your direction. Tara unfazed called out to you.
“Y/n! Get down, now!” Without a moment's hesitation, you crouched down just as Tara pulled out another gun, this time black with gold designs. She fired, aiming it towards the man closest to you. The sound made you jump as you shut your eyes tightly, not wanting to see the bloody scene in front of you. Tara kept firing and all you could hear was the sound of the bullets. At one point she seemed to curse, making your eyes open. You immediately felt nauseous for all you could see was blood, dead bodies, and men still trying to put up a fight.
It seemed as though Tara ran out of bullets, but that didn’t stop her in the slightest. She put her fists up and started striking at the men around you. She was a whirlwind, her strikes precise and lethal. You would have tried to help but you didn’t know the first thing about defense or attacking someone. You assumed that if you tried to interfere, you would just get in her way.
And then, as quickly as it began, it was over. The surviving attackers retreated once they started hearing the sounds of running footsteps headed in your direction. As you thought, it was the rest of the gang. You saw Matt, Chris, and Nick leading the way.
Jake and Johnnie went to go check up on Tara while Matt, Chris and Nick made their way over to you. Colby, Sam, and Larray stayed on guard and watched for any other potential threats.
“Are you okay?” Matt questioned, worry hinted in his eyes. Chris and Nick stayed silent as they seemed to watch the interaction in front of them.
“Yeah, I’m okay. Just a little shaken.” Nick then suddenly signaled to Matt.
“I don’t mean to rush this, but we should probably go. We caused too much attention” Chris intervenes. With that, you all head out to the limousine and make your way back to the mansion.
