I've had a split lip (terrible eczema and dry skin in general) for over a month that was almost healed and now every time I open my mouth it cracks back open.
The reason it went back to this point???
My lovely, wonderful amazing perfect spectacular 8 month old lab collie mix wanted a hug and bapped me in the face and completely re-opened it.
I love him so much but he's a butt

Love having a headache for the *checks notes* 10th day in a row... Is it migraine or sinus? Neither meds are working ahhahahahahhaa

My comprehensive exam is tomorrow and I'm sitting here paralyzed not studying even though there are things I need to review

So I'm on three different nasal sprays because my nose is messed up and I have terrible allergies PLUS I've had to be off my allergy meds for five days because I have an allergy test today...
I just took all three of my sprays (one of which is two sprays into each nostril) and now I'm desperately trying not to sneeze everything back up because I would like to breathe today

Being an adult is sometimes eating ice cream at 4 am because you just got home from work and need to be back at work within the next 6-8 hours. All while hoping that your migraine does not come back because that's what got you into this mess in the first place

I have had a headache since Sunday that I'm not sure if it's a migraine or just a sinus issue since I get both
I'm having all my typical migraine symptoms but I tried my new abortive medication and it didn't work
My pink glasses have helped but I'm ready for my left eye and brow to not feel like someone's hammering into my skull
And I still have a protein purification to do today -.-

Today was a fun reminder that I can't really have gluten
#coko monologues#personal#im mildly gluten intolerant#so not massively and its not celiacs and not severe#so i sometimes sneak a bite or two of something with gluten in it#and sometimes its enough to send me to the toilet the next day for a good couple hours#i love it here

My allergies are so bad right now that Benadryl isn't even making a dent.... And I have a fellowship I need to be working on right now

I love finding out I'm mildly gluten intolerant and that my body can't absorb iron. It's so great. Honestly, the irony of taking all those iron pills for years and then finding out "oh hey, you probably need iron infusions".
