Imagine casual nudity with your F/O. And I'm not talking the sexual variety although that's good too, I'm talking about just being comfortable enough around your F/O that if you feel the need to shuck clothes for any reason you can.

Too hot and need to take your shirt off? Go for it. Your F/O ain't gonna judge. They might as if you need them to turn up the AC, but that's about the only reaction you'll get.

Forget to take your clothes with you to the bathroom after a shower/bath? No worries, just walk right on in, your F/O's just lounging on the bed doing whatever. They might glance up but that's all. They might make a suggestion of what they'd like you to wear, but they won't even blink twice at your nakedness.

Clothes just feel too restrictive cause of sensory reasons? Take 'em off! Your F/O understands and they'll also try find a way for you to help with your oversensitivity.

Imagine the same thing, just reverse. Your F/O feeling comfortable about you to just be casually naked.

Maybe they forgot part of the their grooming routine in the bedroom so they step out of the bathroom to get it. Body completely bare for you to see as they scratch their head and ask if you've seen the thing they're missing.

Maybe they like sleeping in the nude so imagine them after a long day at work finally getting to strip of all the layers and just be comfortable in their skin, totally free as they cuddle you on the bed.

Just, casual nudity, man. It's so good.

Hey, also, all the anarchist shit aside, tomorrow I want you to make something.

I forced myself to draw something after the 2016 election. I forced myself to draw something when my mother died in 2018. I forced myself to draw something when my spouse was hospitalized for multiple organ failure in 2021.

When you are miserable, make something. Add a row to your project, bake a box cake, draw on a sheet of lined paper, write a poem on a napkin, fold an origami shirt out of a dollar bill, make your favorite recipe for dinner, but make something with your hands, something that you can hold and look at engage your senses in.

It won't fix the world, but it will change the world. You will have made something that didn't exist before. You will have impacted your reality, even in a very small way. And it is going to be something you made *after.* Something bad happened, something shook you, and you made something after, in spite of it.

My favorite trope for immortal/mortal relationships is when the immortal extends their lover's lifespan without their knowledge or consent. Changing them to a vampire, mechanizing them, a golden apple slipped into their food, forced ascension to godhood, dark and forbidden magics, etc.

Anything where an immortal looks at their doomed lover, at the tragedy that is inevitable for them, and says, "no, this is not how our story is going to go."

Not only are they yours, but you are theirs. And because you are theirs, they see you. All of you, the real you, exactly as you truly are, and that person is who they love with their whole heart. No matter what happens in your life, no matter if you have to hide or mask or deny parts of who you are everywhere else in your life, they know who you truly are, your whole authentic heart, and they adore every last inch of it.
